五一假期，我终于如愿以偿：妈妈带我去参观了蛇口赤湾的英雄遗迹。这位英雄，就是虎门硝烟，威震敌寇的林则徐。而这“左炮台”就是当年林则徐在大南山上修建的一座重要的'军事要塞。
我们沿着弯弯曲曲的大南山脚向左炮台进发。一路上绿树成荫，风景秀美，令人心旷神怡。到了入口，我们沿着石梯拾级而上，路旁有*为林则徐而写的亲笔题词。
一到炮台底下，几棵榕树立刻吸引了我的眼球：榕树我见过很多，但这样令人震撼的却是绝无仅有。他们的根从石壁上垂下，深深地扎入岩石与水泥的混合体里。这些根简直聚成了一道墙，以令人难以置信的力量支撑着凌空高耸的大树，让人情不自禁地啧啧惊叹。多么顽强的生命啊！
“根墙”的左边，有一座肃穆的石板*台高高耸立。我瞧见：一个身高五米的将领昂首矗立，他头戴官帽，手握老式单筒望远镜，眺望着蛇口港。最打动我的是他那略带愁虑而又充满顽强与信心的眼神，仿佛从那用*成的眼珠中迸射出来。好一个忧国忧民，却又自强自立的中华大将军！他，正是传颂千古的民族英雄――林则徐。
走下石台，穿过一道短短的“城门”走过一段短短的石梯，就来到了真正的“左炮台”。炮！好雄伟的炮！这尊大铁炮仍然摆出当年的作战英姿――铁首高昂，怒目圆睁，炮尾仿佛还冒着渺渺的硝烟。两米长的炮管，吨余的重量，真难想当年的勇士们是怎样才把它请上这险峻的炮台。透过斑斑的锈迹，我仿佛看见，它，万弹齐发，火光冲天，把海面上的侵略者打得落花流水。
终于盼来了期待已久的五月，同时，也迎来了今年的“五一”长假，大家都显得十分兴奋，都想趁五一长假好好玩玩。正巧今年的“五一”赶上了动漫节和休博会，大家心里好不快活，用现在比较流行的语言说就是“快乐得冒泡了”！
但是，妈妈却总不让我出去玩，让我在家做练*。
眼看我眼馋已久的动漫节就要结束了，我整天闷闷不乐的。爸爸好象瞧出了什么，于是向我提出带我去楼下空地打羽毛球，我的精神刹时就好了很多，虽然不能去动漫节，但打打羽毛球也不错，已经好久没和爸爸打过羽毛球了。我像个娃娃似的，蹦蹦跳跳的就下了楼。因为在学校上体育课时，和同学玩过几次，所以我打羽毛球的水*总的来说，有了很大的提高。说起来惭愧，在这之前我连发球都还不会发呢！爸爸因为好久都没有打羽毛球了，一开始竟破天荒的让我赢了十几个球。后来爸爸渐渐进入了状态，一会儿就“打了翻身仗”。开始我因为前头的胜利冲昏了头，变得飘飘然了，但一看爸爸连续赢了许多球，头脑自然清醒了很多。
终于和爸爸打成了*手，我发球时变得格外谨慎，照例把球发到很远，但不同的是，发球过程中，一直用眼估量着，使球不至于飞到界限之外，很可惜爸爸一下就接住了球，球远远的向我飞来，我接着让球飞的很*，可爸爸竟然早有准备，又一次接住了球，这下可好，接下来几球都是我被我爸“牵着鼻子走”，球向我这边飞来时，一会儿向左，一会儿向右，把我累的气喘吁吁的。突然，爸爸猛的一挥球拍，羽毛球以闪电般的速度向我飞来，我连眼都没来得及眨一下，球就落地了，哎，又是我输了。
我一下子明白了，打球也是要讲策略的，像爸爸那样使用“调虎离山”很显然，他一会儿就占了上风。于是我也开动了一番脑筋，哈哈，新的一场战争又开始了……没过多久，我们俩就已经满头大汗了，可谁都不认输，仍旧奋力的挥舞着球拍。周围的人也许是被我们所感染了，几个小孩竟停下手中的游戏，兴致勃勃的开始看我们打球了。就是周围的路人，也不再一副旁若无人的表情，默然走过，他们的笑容和我们一样灿烂。
看来，去不去看动漫节这并不是最要紧的，重要的是我们对待事物的心态，若是我们全身心投入，并从中体验到了快乐，即使再小的事，都能让我们开心一整天。我希望我以后都能向这个“五一”节一样，每天都能细细的品味生活中的每一件事，吸取教训，收获快乐，让之后的每一天都阳光灿烂！

因为爸爸带我和小弟弟回到了我的老家——安徽桐城，那里有我敬爱的爷爷、奶奶，还有很多我最好的小朋友们，我非常想念她们。
五一这天的早晨我起的很早，打扮得漂漂亮亮的，准备好给好朋友的礼物——我画的五彩画，就到车站乘车了。车子在道路上飞驰，我的心早就飞到了老家和小朋友们在一起玩了。
车子开了3个多小时，就到了，下车往家走的路两边都是黄灿灿的油菜花，可漂亮了，在南京可看不到，我缠着爸爸给我拍照。爷爷、奶奶都在家门口迎接我们呢，我扑到奶奶的怀里亲了奶奶一下，奶奶乐坏了，一手搂着弟弟一手搂着我，在我的小脸上亲个不停。我的小伙伴姚瑶、婷婷她们也来了，赶紧拿出我的礼物给她们。
在老家我和伙伴们玩跳皮筋，还和她们一起爬山，我还教她们跳舞，玩得可高兴了，一直到很晚才回家，第二天上午我和奶奶一起到茶园采茶，奶奶采茶我和小弟弟就在茶地里玩挖蚯蚓玩，弄得我们像个灰老鼠似的。下午我和奶奶到田埂边采蒿子（一种野菜）回家做蒿子粑吃，可香了，我都两年没有吃过了，奶奶傍晚做好了，我一下就吃了3个，把小肚子撑得圆鼓鼓的才罢休。
时间过得真快，我们又要回南京了，又要和我的好伙伴们分开了，走的时候她们都来送我，我的眼泪都快流出来了，上车了，爷爷、奶奶一直送我们上车，在车上我和爸爸说：“爸爸：以后放假我还要回老家”。

our national day is coming. we shall have days of rest,presumably weeklong holidays again just like the weeklong may day holidays. many people welcome weeklong holidays and are busy planning where and how to spend the seven days;whereas many other people do not applaud. as to me, weeklong holidays mean a span of dullness, boredom, melancholy and helplessness, and i think anyone who had experienced the holiday sufferings in may would share my feelings.
i well remember that from may day, to be more exact, a few days earlier than may day, the shopping season started.most shops extended their shopping hours to respond to their overwhelmingly enthusiastic customers. there were special sales with discount coupons and instant lucky draws and various sales promotions in nearly every big store to lure po tential customers into spending more. crowds of shoppers flocked towards department stores, enjoying their high purchasing power.
there were traffic jams almost everywhere, people waited in long queues at bus-stops:and taxi-stands? looking entirely exhausted.tempers flared when people gotpushed or if someone else cut the queue.impatient drivers honked at each other every now and then.
the railway station was congested with travelers who rushed to the platform like a swarm of bees and then squeezed their way into the train for seats as if there would be no tomorrow.
in the restaurants, tables were shared. a platoon of waiters filed out from the kitchen armed with various containers of eatables. orders were taken feverishly and then shouted across to the kitchen. excitement reigned everywhere as waiters ran hither and thither to fill the orders.
the above are just some vivid scenes that happened a few months ago. everywhere was chaos and chaos everywhere. i am really afraid the drama will soon be repeated.

May Day Holiday at last came! I have lood forward to it for a long time. Because I studied very hard in my school life and L was always thinking of having a holiday and relax myself.

I had a long holiday for May Day .I was very happy, because I could do anything I want.
During those days, I enjoyed myself. At first, I went to the zoo to see lovely animals. And then, I went to the sea world to see beautiful fishes. That was very interesting. Secondly I went for a trip with my parents, we went to Linxia to visit my grandparents and to eat minority’s foods. We rode horse on the grassland and had a fun with local children. It was very exciting. After that, I held a party and invited some of my best friends to visit my house. My mother bought a lot of tasty foods for us, we also took many photos on the party.
