一、班级整体情况
在优秀班主任xxx的带领下，我们班比较优秀(进步较大)，上个学期期末我们英语学科是兰溪市统一测试的，我们取得了优异的成绩，但也有小部分学生明显落后与别人，主要表现在上课注意力不集中，不喜欢张口读书，动作偏慢，家庭作业没有按时上交或干脆不交等现象，久而久之，他的各种表现就落后了，不管是考试成绩，口语交流，还是书写。就不如其他学生。
二、英语学科的特点
本学期我们用的是PEP英语教材的升级版，它比原来的旧教版有了更高的要求，在学生听、说、读、写的基础上，强调语言的运用，注重能力的培养，培养学生自主学*的能力和独立运用所学语言去做事的能力。但教学内容紧密联系小学生的生活和学*实际，选择话题充分考虑到小学生的需求，涉及学校、家庭、饮食、玩具、动物、颜色、数字等。本学期还增加了机器人(Robin)角色，更富有童趣。因此，英语学科的学*本身趣味性比较强，成绩好的同学会越学越有趣，小部分同学基础没打好，兴趣也就减弱了，毕竟学*的过程是从易到难的.。低段简单的没学会，到高段难的知识点学起来就感觉累了。英语课程每个单元的课型也比较清晰的，每单元有AB两部分重点内容，每部分有三中课型;单词教学，对话教学和阅读教学;还有C部分，也就是故事教学是选学内容，我们一般不作课堂授课，作为有兴趣的同学自己自学内容。
三、如何在家监督孩子的英语学*
1。关注家庭作业
每周有三节英语课，这三天里我都会布置家庭作业，并且我对家庭作业有具体的要求：若当天是新授单词课，那晚上的作业肯定是默写单词;若是对话课，那晚上的作业肯定是默写重点句，对预*作业的要求是：听录音，若预*单词，要在家校联系本上抄写单词，我没有规定抄写几遍，目的是培养学生主动学*的*惯，而不是每天机械地完成老师布置的作业。若对话课或阅读课，要求翻译汉语的意思，写在家校联系本上。第二天由四人小组长检查，发现很多孩子是来学校补的，可见听力作业也不会完成。所以，从今天以后，家长可以根据这几个要求去关自己孩子完成作业的情况，当然这之前也有做得很好的家长，不但关注孩子的学*还天天在家校联系本上签名。虽然我没有强制性要求学生每天让家长签名，目的是杜绝孩子造假，高段了有的孩子很聪明，自己签个名，每天签名的家长我是记忆很深刻的，你的孩子也很优秀，我也很感谢您对英语学科的支持和关注。
2。关注单元测试测试卷签名。其实测试卷上家长签名，是一个外在的形式，我的目的是，让家长知道孩子一个阶段的学*成果，看孩子的试卷，不光看分数的高低，更要关注孩子错误的原因，是因为粗心，还是因为本身就不会。一次考试，不仅仅只是分数上的收获，更是一种学*方法上的收获。也是鼓励和鞭策孩子，让孩子有学*的成就感，每次测试后我都以不同的方式给予学生奖励，有，优秀奖，进步奖，鼓励奖。考虑到有的学生存在报喜不报忧的情况，每次试卷下发后，我都会以短信的方式，通知给家长。
四、几点希望
1。家长要转变观念，要把语文，数学，英语放在同等位置。经常可以听到家长的议论，小学英语没关系，初中会重学的，其实这是一种错误的观念。初中七年级是有三个模块式复*内容的，但后面的内容跨度还是很大的，明年的中考英语难度系数又增加了，取消了选择题的题型，9月2日高考制度出台，高三考试分为英语、语文、数学，各科总分是150分。所以养成良好的学**惯要从小学开始，孩子的学*必须家校合作，因为时代在进步，再也不要和你那时自己的学*比较。希望家长再家多费点心，多关注自己孩子的英语学*情况。
2。多关注孩子的学*动态，别过早的放弃孩子对英语的学*，要意识到小学的知识相对来说是比较简单的，更多的是要让孩子有学英语的动力，多鼓励，不要一味的责骂，多和孩子交流，沟通。
3。让我们常联系，我一个人任教六个班的英语课，*时你的孩子出现什么问题我一般和班主任交流比较多，真的感到抱歉，所以家长朋友们您们若有什么问题，你可以写在家校联系本上，或打电话(------537934)，我会尽我所能帮助您的孩子。最后让我们共同努力，让孩子在英语学科上取得好成绩，养成好*惯，为今后的学*打下扎实的基础。我就聊这么多，有不当之处，望家长朋友们批评指正。我办公室就在隔壁，若有事我们也可以单独交流。

从我参加工作到现在整整十八年时间，一直奋战在英语教学的第一线，带领学生参加过数届毕业考试，英语学科在毕业考试中也像数学、语文学科一样采用串校监考和集体阅卷的方式进行测评。这对我们每一位英语教师来说是一个可喜的开始，说明小学英语教育逐渐被各方面所重视，我们不再仅仅是默默地付出、孤军奋战，相信我们的工作将被给予越来越多的关注。但欣喜的同时也感到身上的担子愈发的重了，时间紧、任务重是我们不得不面对的事实，我们要克服工作中的重重困难提高学生的学*成绩，确实需要动一些脑筋，下面我打算谈谈我在带领六年级毕业班复*时的一些做法，希望可以与各位老师交流探讨，共同提高。
我校六年级共有八个班*1000名学生，我带了其中的四、六、七、八班。我所代的学生大部分为外来务工人员子女，学生英语基础相对较差，两极分化比较严重，学困生比重偏大，再加之班级人数过多。可以说，要想从整体上提高学生的英语成绩，难度还是很大的。
一、注重点滴积累，从细节着眼提高学生成绩。
我校学生是从三年级起点开始学*英语的，在学校学*之前，多数学生没有接触过英语，连26个字母都认不全，加之父母对其英语学*不够重视，学生在课外学*英语的时间微乎其微。四年级的学生，英语的认读书写能力还非常差。于是，我在日常的教学中，在保证对学生进行相对充分的听说训练的同时，非常注重学生认读书写能力的训练。因为我知道，英语的认读书写能力不但与学生的考试成绩息息相关，还极大的影响着学生的自学能力，良好的认读书写能力，可以为学生英语学*的可持续性发展奠定坚实的基础。课堂上，我积极创造条件让学生认读单词和句子，从发音规则入手，帮助学生一点点感知字母及字母组合的发音，天长日久，很多学生可以根据单词中所出现的字母及字母组合自己拼读出新单词，不要小瞧这看起来微不足道的成绩，这样的积累也可以帮助学生学会背单词，减轻他们的学*负担。
提起背单词，我要说说我的做法：从事英语教学工作以来，我一直坚持以考察的方式督促学生背单词。刚开始我采用最传统的做法——我说汉语学生写英语，我觉得这种考察方式效率最低，学生只是根据汉语意思死记硬背，有的甚至连单词怎么读都不知道。后来我又换了一种方式——我说英语，学生写出单词还要写出单词的意思，我觉得这种听写方式较前一种还是有所进步的，起码在听写的同时加入了听辨的'训练。但是，这两种方式都有比较明显的缺点：单词是脱离语境的，好多孩子会背写单词却不会用。课标中多次强调我们要在语境中学*新知，这样才能达到学以致用的目的。于是我就琢磨了一下，是不是能对我的日常课堂测验进行一下改革？让单词测验能更有效的促进学生的英语学*水*。功夫不负有心人，我想出了一个自认为较好的办法：我每节课只考学生五个单词，但是，这五个单词是在句子中呈现的，因为我校条件有限，我就在上课之前准备一块小黑板，在黑板上写出包含要考单词的句子，让学生在听写本上根据句子写出单词。如果学生不了解单词的用法及相关语境，是无法顺利完成测试任务的，这种方法不但考察了学生的单词拼写情况，还考察出学生对于单词用法的了解及是否能正确认读句子，可谓一举多得。写一块小黑板，我可以用四个班，如果学校的教室里有多媒体设施，就更方便了，而且，每节课只抽查五个单词，就可以基本了解学生的学*情况，还不会给老师带来沉重的批改负担，我个人认为是个比较理想的测试方法。
测试是对学生学*效果的检测，良好的学*效果需要合理的练*和充分的复*来保证。家庭作业作为学生课后复*的主要途径，应该被给予足够的重视。我校学生基础有限，很难在课后独立完成相对复杂的创造性作业，加之学生抄写及书写的能力都很差，所以，最简单的抄写作业对他们来说其实是非常必要的。刚开始的时候，我就是让他们单纯的抄写新单词，因为我希望他们可以通过机械的抄写熟悉并记住新单词。后来，因为要在语境中学*并考察单词，我就稍稍改动了一下作业中的抄写任务：学生不但要抄写新单词一行，还要在课文中找出含有这个单词的句子并抄写在单词的下面。这样的改动对我们的学生来说难度不大，他们完全可以在课后独立完成，而且还能在无形中帮助他们了解了单词的用法，锻炼了句子的认读书写能力，为日常测验及各种考试奠定了基础。
以上这些都是我在日常教学中所做的点滴小事，它们看似普通，但其实是日后取得所有成绩的基石，我的学生进步比较慢。所以永不放弃的坚持是做好小事的唯一法宝，回头看去，这其中有太多的艰辛和汗水，但是看看孩子们取得的进步和成绩，我觉得这些努力都是值得的。
二、充分利用有效复*时间，向课堂教学要质量。
俗话说：临阵磨枪，不快也光。说明合理有效的期末复*，对于学生学*成绩的提高也是非常重要的。学生在日常的学*中汲取了很多的知识，但这些知识在头脑中是零散的，期末复*可以通过归类总结等方式让这些零散的知识系统化，更有利于学生掌握和运用这些知识。我们*时的课时就比较少，我真的觉得一周四节英语课实在是不够用，所以期末的复*时间也不是十分充分。这也就要求我用最短的时间做最多的事情，最大限度的提高我的工作效率。
感谢学校的支持，让我可以像数学语文老师一样给学生印复*卷。我从公共邮箱下载了各校老师出的单元复*题，作为每一单元的复*和巩固，在单元学*结束后让学生完成。有些孩子的完成情况其实并不好，但我看重的不是一时的成绩，我更看重完成试卷过程中的收获：首先，是让学生熟悉英语试卷。我的学生在学*中接触英语试卷的机会非常的少，所以每次期末考试都会有学生因为不会审题不会答卷而丢分，作为小学生，我觉得在没有得到充分训练的前提下出现这样的错误时可以理解的，所以，我抓住这个宝贵的机会锻炼学生，让他们在日后的考试中见到英语试题不会感到不知所措。其次，我可以在单元的综合测试中了解学生对于知识点的掌握情况，存在问题的加强巩固，并在日后的教学中尽量避免出现类似的问题。
因为在*时教学中做了相对充分的准备，所以在期末复*阶段，我可以不用那么手忙脚乱，事实证明，有条不紊的复*，更能收到理想的效果。因为毕业考试要考察1——8册的单词，所以，我把前八册单词进行了简单的归纳。按照颜色、形状、服装等进行了分类，并在每节复*课之前带领学生复*一个种类的单词。因为我的学生学*能力较差，我没有要求他们把所有的单词都背下来，而是挑重点的让他们根据读音规则去记单词中的字母组合，基本上孩子只要会读就能写出来，与其贪功求大倒不如把目光放低放实，这种有针对性的练*效果真的很好，大部分学生的成绩有了显著提高。
为了了解学生的学*及复*情况同时也为了让学生重视英语学*，每一次测试我都要认真批改，及时总结。为了提高学困生的学*成绩，我一次又一次的发动成绩好的学生帮助他们，孩子们都是有惰性的，因为很多学困生帮助起来确实难度较大，总有学生跑到我这里来告状和打退堂鼓。可是我知道无论如何我不能放弃，我只能不厌其烦的表扬和鼓励他们，让他们从各个角度看到自己的付出所取得的成绩，帮助他们树立坚持下去的信心和毅力。都说一分耕耘一分收获，我终于在考试之后看到了令人欣喜的成绩，所以，我才有勇气把自己在*时工作中的一些做法写出来与大家交流，相信各位老师还有更多更好的做法，在这里，我也虚心向老师们求教，希望大家能够帮助我。

三个班的英语，在教学中我如何做的呢？
一、开学初选好课代表，我告诉学生，英语课代表就是老师，谁不尊敬课代表就是不尊重老师。在*时，多教课代表如何布置作业，如何落实，使课代表明白自己的`责任和重要性，从而服务于本班的英语教学。
二、挑选英语基础好责任心强的学生为小组长，小组长全面负责本组的英语学*，包括单词读音，背诵、纠错等；
三、上课。课堂上我总讲究本节课所定目标的落实，哪怕学*很少的内容也要力求做到每个同学都掌握。英语上有小组对话练*，我就实行加分制，一个对话练*正确得5分，错一处扣一分，然后再把班分成四个大组进行竞争，一个月后对4个大组进行总结，表彰得分最多的大组，可以在周末作业布置对本大组布置点作业。
四、 任务落实。130多个学生，对于学*任务我该如何落实呢？主要依靠课代表和小组长，还有个大组选的检员。在任务落实上我做到：基础知识人人过关，重点知识人人掌握。每一单元开始学*时要求全体学生单词人人过关，每个学生的单词都要会读，而且是我亲自落实；我在辅导时间重点落实各班的4号同学，保证他们基础知识必须过关。
五、批改作业。英语作业主要是面批，有错误直接指出来并纠正。小组长批改，我检查，发现一处错误本人和组长都罚超3遍在练*本上。
总之，在去年一年教学经验的基础上，我会继续在前进中多找路子，我总想一句话，方法总比困难多，我一定会加倍努力的工作，圆满完成学校下达的教育教学目标任务。

Some of these extend up to 20 miles into Cambodia. The sanctuaries are in red, and as you note, they are on both sides of the border. They are used for hit-and-run attacks on American and South Vietnamese forces in South Vietnam. These Communist-occupied territories contain major base camps, training sites, logistics facilities, weapons and ammunition factories, airstrips, and prisoner of war compounds.

i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."
but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. and so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. now is the time to make justice a reality for all of god's children.

In one part of the United States, for example, the deer there like to eat a kind of wild flowers. The mountain tigers there eat the deer. But people killed many mountain tigers to protect the deer. soon there were so many deer that the ate up all the wild flowers. Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees .so the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.
The number of trees, deer, tigers, wild flowers and plants has changed much—less and less. We need to do more to keep the balance of nature.

Kids for Kerry is a grassroots organization of kids that support John Kerry, want to help their futures, and get active in politics.
When my parents went to see Teresa Heinz Kerry speak, they told me that she was amazing! -- and that they thought John Kerry would make a great President. I decided to find out more about John Kerry. I talk about what I learned by using my ABCs.
“A” is America. John Kerry is a hero to America, and he will help our futures. He is a great and positive role model.
“B” is Better education. John Kerry wants to make class sizes smaller, so that children get the best part out of learning. He wants to help teachers because being a teacher is educating children, and letting them out into the world to do good things.
“C” is Compassion towards children. John Kerry wants to make sure that health care is not a privilege, but it is something that we can all afford.
This summer, I was supposed to go to my favorite camp. But instead, I decided to go to the John Kerry office every day. Kids can really help!
On KidsforKerry.org, we have an interactive presidential quiz. There are 270 questions for the electoral votes John Kerry will win. Plus, 25 questions to make up for Florida from the last election.
Our next goal is to have a petition for “National No Name-Calling Day,” a day that the candidates don't say anything negative about one another. When our Vice President had a disagreement with a Democratic senator, he used a REALLY BAD word.
If I said that -- If I said that word, I would be put in a “time-out.”
I think he should be put in a time-out.
The last time I saw John Kerry, he grabbed my arm and said, “See you at the convention.” And here I am!
What will be even more amazing will be the inauguration in January, when we have a new President, knowing that kids have made a difference in this election.

4、重视孩子的*惯。一些家长最担心的是孩子的成绩是否优秀，对*惯不够重视，对此，市教科院专家也指出了，培养孩子良好的*惯，是适应小学学*生活的“第一步，至关重要”。尽量避免一边作业，一边吃东西或玩耍，久而久之养成孩子思想不能集中的*惯。会在很大程度上影响*期学*和将来的发展。好*惯，将受益一生，而*惯的培养，则要从小做起。
5、作业方面请家长积极配合做到：
（2）检查学生是否及时按量完成作业，昨天作业的错误有无改正，并签名。
（3）检查作业是否认真：字迹端正吗？格式正确吗？注意力集中吗？有没有经常“左手拿点心右手拿铅笔”的情况？另外，作业错了地方有没有擦干净，教孩子正确使用橡皮擦，一手把本子按住，一只手来回轻轻擦，避免将本子擦破，而且必须将痕迹擦干净！所以，家长一定要帮孩子选好用的橡皮擦，请不要太花，会影响孩子的注意力。
（5）每天督促他完成听算练*，巩固“十以内的加减法”“20以内的进位加法”。要求做到脱口而出。
6、对于孩子的物质准备方面给家长下面的建议：
(1)学*用品的准备。刚入学的孩子，由于受年龄特点的影响，注意力较容易分散。因此，家长在给孩子准备笔、尺、书包、橡皮等学*
用品时，一定要考虑到可能产生影响孩子学*的不利因素。例如，孩子用活动铅笔，笔芯非常细容易断，孩子才开始学*写字，力量各方面都不能很好控制，笔心很容易折断，笔心一断，他就会停下来慢慢按笔芯，所以请家长为孩子准备削好的5支铅笔，不让孩子带刨笔刀到学校，避免不安全隐患。另外，文具盒尽量选择简单的，只要能装上5支铅笔，一个橡皮就够了，一个功能繁多的文具盒，对孩子来说，不亚于一样玩具，很容易分散学生上课的注意力。并训练孩子自己整理书包的能力，但家长要提醒他，带上所有的书和文具盒、笔等。另外，请家长给孩子的铅笔做上记号，当然我相信家长都不在乎那么几毛钱，但是这样做的目的是让孩子学会保管好自己的物品，同时也能避免一些不必要的麻烦。
（2）给孩子包书，用软的包书皮，不用夹子形式的，上课，孩子会将夹子取下来玩，影响到上课的质量。可选用里面有个夹层的，学生写完作业后，将本子夹在书里，既可以保持本子整洁不卷曲，又容易拿取。
（3）为孩子准备一个学具盒。里面包括小棒、圆片等。请家长和孩子一起将小棒十根十根的捆在一起，留十根散放，以便以后用！另外请家长再为孩子准备一个口袋，将学具盒装在口袋里，并捆好，因为学具盒里有很多东西，如果掉了，会散落一地，容易丢失。
(4)为孩子安排一个良好的学*环境。有适合孩子高矮的，专门用来作业的桌椅，有的孩子的作业本拿到学校来，全是油渍，可能是由于孩子边做作业边吃东西造成的，也有可能是由于孩子没有自己完成作业的专门书桌，有的在饭桌上完成，有的甚至是趴在地上完成的，一定要给孩子一个做作业的书桌！选择合适的灯光照明；不要过于昏暗或刺眼，以保护孩子的视力！不要将孩子安排在与电视机同屋的房间，要给他们一个安静的学*环境。据资料显示，看电视容易引起学生的无意注意，花花绿绿的东西很容易吸引学生的注意，让孩子做作业时不能一心一意，同时，也不利于他将来在课堂上集中注意力。
(3) 为孩子订购一些课外阅读书籍，丰富孩子的课外知识。一些孩子易懂的童话书等，要培养孩子爱好书的良好*惯。父母也可天天给孩子讲故事，以引导孩子自发的看书。另外请家长给孩子购买一本训练口算的书。
有些孩子很好动，希望家长们能配合老师改这个*惯，例如在家里家长可以训练孩子安静地坐一段时间，时间的长度可以从20分钟慢慢过渡到40分钟。在这段时间内，可以让他看看书，画画，也可以给他讲故事等等，让孩子*惯倾听，这对将来提高他的学*能力至关重要。

seeing this topic, what first strikes my mind is the group of blind football players who won the silver medal at the beijing paralympics games. what they did shows the spirit of the old saying “never say die”. instead of giving up because of their blindness, they have redoubled their efforts and they did wonders.
never give up, even though there are many difficult things waiting for you. if you try your best, maybe there will be many successes behind you the next time.

i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.
every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.
my father always stands in the center of my life， from past till now and possibly in the future.
my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby， small room rented from my father's factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.
but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese,surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.
when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.
i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.
like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is not good at or even can’t work the computer. so when i sitting at the computer desk,he will say something like ‘you should pay more attention to your study’, ‘don’t waste time on the computer games’ , ‘it will be bad for your eyes’ and so on. how can i- a computer fan – reduce time on computer? so i continue studying and playing on it

今天我们在这里举行会议是为了迎接20xx年的第一场战役，也就是第一次质检，当然，我们的最终目的是迎接高考。现在，英语学*进入了一个非常关键的阶段，也是一个瓶颈阶段。不少高三学生虽然努力学*英语，但仍然没有明显的进步，有时会感到力不从心，手足无措。其实最主要的原因可能在于学*方法上出现了一些问题。在这里我给大家提几点建议供大家参考。
一、制定计划。要想学好一门语言，首先要一个切实可行的计划，用以指导自已的学*，古人说得好“凡事预则立，不预则废。”做事有计划就不会打乱仗，也不会感到盲从。
二、专心听课。课堂是获取知识的主要来源，上课是学生进解和掌握基础的基本技能并在此基础上发展认知能力的一个关键环节，这就要求同学们始终保持高度集中的注意力，力争在课内就把一节课的内容记住，当堂消化。
三、及时复*。知识贵在落实，课后及时复*能加深和巩固对新知识理解和记忆，系统在掌握新知识以达到灵活运用，即知识迁移的目的。
四、掌握正确的记忆方法。英语是一门记忆很强的学科，要大量积累词汇。很多同学最烦记单词，总是抱怨记不住，以致于丧失了信心。这是因为你没有了解到记忆的规律，没有掌握记单词的技巧。现在我给大家介绍几种方法。
1。及时记忆法，要求上课时认真听讲，争取趁热打铁，当堂记住。
2。联想记忆法，如bridegroom和bride。有room的是新郎
3。分类记忆法，把单词分门别类，如动物、植物类。
4。感官记忆法也叫运动记忆法。尽可能发用多种感官，耳听、口读、
手写、眼看、心记等。
5。构词记忆法，通过分析词根、前缀、后缀、派生和合成等记忆单词。
6。情景记忆法，把某个单词放在一个句子或者一段话中去记忆。
7。比较记忆法，反义词、同义词、同音词。
8。拼读记忆法，读准单词的发音是记住单词的前提，拼读记忆首先要
求把单词读准确，充分认识单词的读音与拼写之间的关系。如enthusiastic
9。循环记忆法，任何先进的单词记忆法都必须进行反复记忆。学了可能会遗忘，为了防止遗忘，一定要不断发进行阶段性复*。可以把单词和重点句子写在长片上放在口袋里或贴在桌子上、放在枕头连随时记忆。有些单词不是你记不住，而是你重复的次数不够多。
五、培养良好的语感。什幺是语感？语感具有一听就清，一说就顺，一写就通，一读就懂的功能。那幺，怎样培养语感呢？
1。从听力训练开始，在听力方面，一是听课文录音带，去感知模仿形成正确的语音、语调，二是听英语广播、电视节目及原声电影等，三是认真对待我们*时的听力训练，要沉着、冷静、细心，抓关键词，瞄准下一个句子和题目。
2。朗读、背诵是培养语感的捷径。主要是多读课文及听力教材，要将一个单词读准，一个句子读顺，一篇文章读烂，*时朝读时要最大声、最快速、最清晰地读。通过诵读，同学们可对文章的'语意、语法、语气、语调、节奏、重音了然于心。
3。要进行广泛阅读。阅读是吸收语言材料的最好途径，实践证明，学生阅读面越宽，语言实践越大，阅读理解能力便越强。只有通过读，才能够获得最大的实践量，才能享受到学*外语的真正甜头和学*的乐趣。阅读的数量多了，一些常用词汇、句式结构自然在脑子中形成了印象，也就逐渐形成了语感。现在我们每天至少应阅读一两篇文章。
4。多积累多写作是培养语感的必经之路。在*时写日记、周记，考试时尽量使用通过积累的高级词汇和句型，这样才能有效地提高写作水*。
六、要注重课本，排查要点，各个击破。这几年高考中都有课文中的原句子，同学们要善于发现隐藏在课文中的命题胚胎。
七、要持之以恒，孜孜不倦。俗话说“一日学，一日功”，“一日不学，十日空”。也就是要讲究一个“勤”字，做到天天读，天天背，天天练，天天总结，养成一种好*惯，这样你就离成功不远了。
八、要提高自已的应试素质，把*时的考试当作高考，把高考当作*时的考试。
九、相信自己，强烈的自信心和必胜的信念是我们最大限度地发挥水*的致胜法宝。我们每个人身上都有巨大的潜力有待开发，一定要珍惜时光，找准人生的奋斗目标，不断努力，最大限度开发你的潜力，你是最优秀的。

It is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful Saturday morning to share with you my sentiments about life and passion for the English language.
About a year and a half ago, I took part in my very first English Speech Contest. When I stood before the microphone with all eyes starring directly at me, I could hardly speak. I stood there, embarrassed and helpless, struggling in vain for the right thing to say. My fears had paralyzed me.
While my passion for English has never changed, I lost my courage to speak in public. When my professor again encouraged me to take part in this Competition, I said “no.” I couldn’t endure yet another painful experience. He looked me straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart. I will never forget his words. “Look,” he said, “We all have our fears, and you have yours. You could twist your ankle in a basketball game, but then be afraid to ever play again. Running away can never dispel your fears, but action will. A winner is not one who never fails，but one who never quits.”
I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life: I would face my fears – and take part in the competition!
As it turned out, my dear old professor was right. Now, here I am, once again standing before a microphone. My heart is beating fast, and my mouth is dry, but most importantly, I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!

让游戏闪亮你的英语课堂
游戏在英语课堂上的重要性都快比得上水之于鱼了，很难想象一堂课上，如果没有了游戏，该怎么继续。不论高年级还是低年级，在游戏中学*都是一种十分有效的学*方式。低年级学生好动又好胜，游戏能让他们在动身体的同时动脑，并且享受成功的喜悦。高年级的课堂相对而言比较乏味，适时的游戏会是绝佳的作料。好的游戏能让一堂沉闷的英语课活跃起来，是学生学*的兴奋的药剂。
一、游戏的安排应讲究一个“适”字，适时、适式、适度。
（一）适时组织游戏
看准时机，针对学生的实际安排合适的游戏形式。
1.让学生从思想上尽快进入英语课堂，游戏导入是个相当快捷、有效的方法。我们可以安排listen and do，listen and point，look and say，flash and say等操作简单，但具有检查性质的游戏。学生在玩游戏的同时，复*了旧知识，情感上也得到了体验。而从这些旧知识的复*，我们可以自然过渡到新知识的传授，温故知新，以旧带新，一举两得。
2.在复*巩固阶段，最忌讳的是机械操练。游戏能使复*变得生动。比如我们学了一系列水果以后，安排老师拿一个水果，学生说出来的环节，但反复几次之后，学生的积极性就会减弱。这时，我们安排游戏Who is missing？Who is fast？Magic eyes等，学生的积极性就会立刻恢复，一只只小手又会争先恐后地举
起。
3.当学生的脸上闪过“无聊”、“困惑”的痕迹时，游戏可解“燃眉之急”。高年级的学生面临背单词、记单词的难题。如果不讲究方法地死记硬背，不但效果不好，学生的兴趣也会逐渐降低。在这个阶段，如果能帮助他们掌握正确的方法，促使他们主动背单词，就会对他们以后的英语学*有很大的帮助。单词接龙、吊死鬼、寻找共同点等游戏，不仅让学生始终处于积极思考的状态，而且能提高他们课后记单词的兴趣。
（二）适式组织游戏
有些游戏的可用性很强，如copy不走样等游戏，无论什么内容，都能套用。但有些游戏，却不是什么内容都合适的。教师要学会使用最恰当的游戏，如flash and guess这样的游戏仅适合单词教学，而不适合巩固句型。
不同年龄阶段的学生，对游戏的口味也不同，我们要学会投其所好。低年级的学生喜欢趣味性强的，如copy不走样，high voice and low voice能引起他们参与的欲望。而高年级的学生则喜欢探索型的游戏，比如bingo、加减运算对抗赛就很受他们的欢迎。
（三）适度组织游戏
在教学中，我们不能只为让学生放松、玩乐而安排游戏，归根结底，游戏是为教学服务的。在游戏活动之前，我们必须指定相应的规则，没有规则，游戏过程就会很“乱”，有规则才能“活而
有序”。当学生的“玩性”到五、六成的时候，我们的游戏就该结束了。因为如果游戏结束太早，学生才刚进入游戏状态，熟悉游戏规则，就结束游戏，一来扫兴，二来游戏的“运用语言”的目的也没达到。如果游戏结束得太晚，学生就会越来越无聊，下次再玩这类游戏就没有了热情。
二、游戏的组织，还要讲究一个“变”字——以不变应万变。
（一）巧设陷阱
同一个游戏“发口令，做动作”，一般都是教师怎么发，学生怎么做，最多让一个学生发，其他学生做，偶尔做做反口令，分组进行比赛。做多了，学生的好奇心没有了，游戏就变成了机械操练。如果设几个陷阱，就会有“眼睛一眨，老母鸡变鸭”的效果。趣味性的调节就是教师在做动作的时候，可以先慢慢地好像在做“坐下”的动作，眼神一定要是那种坏坏的，然后突然变成“起立”，让学生产生和教师斗下去的欲望。师生成了“敌人”，而游戏就成了“战争”。把动作和语言结合起来，边做动作边说，动作和口令有时一致，有时不一致。在训练学生对所学知识掌握的同时，还训练了学生的反应能力。
（二）变换速度

How well are we in tune with the rhythm of life? In our busy day to day existence, we don’t often stop to ask ourselves this question. At least I don’t. And it wasn’t until I joined a competitive sporting event that I learned a most important lesson – we must place our mind in harmony with the natural order of things to be successful.
Let me tell you what happened.
I decided to take part in an International Marathon in my hometown last year. Being an ambitious person, I hoped to finish it within 5 hours, accompanied by my friend with whom I had trained.
The big day finally arrived. "Ready...set...bang" And we were off.
At first, we kept a rapid pace and ran nonstop. At this pace, we finished the first 20 kilometers in 2 hours and I thought running a marathon was a piece of cake. Then my running mate began to slow down. I urged him to keep running at the same pace but he said no, he wanted to conserve his energy. I felt I had partnered with the wrong person, therefore, I sprinted on and left him behind in the dust.
A few kilometers later, I began to understand his strategy as my pace slowed to a jog then a walk. After that I was incapable of moving another step. I was humiliated as more and more people ran passed me. More than once I thought "Maybe I should quit." I started to doubt my ability to finish this race.
At this moment, my running mate caught up with me and slapped me on the back. “Follow me,” he shouted. He had balanced his marathon pace and was encouraged me to do the same. For the rest of this grueling contest, we walked, jogged, ran a few miles, and walked again. Slowly, painfully but hopefully this time, we established the most suitable pace within the natural flow of our physical capabilities.
Eventually we accomplished our first Marathon of 42 kilometers in 4 and half hours. I asked myself, what did this marathon mean to me? My Marathon experience became an influential metaphor for my life about how we must learn to pace ourselves in everything, by being in tune with the rhythm of life.
Like the tide that ebbs and flows, we must listen to advice but make our own decisions. Like the show at dawn and dusk, we must learn to balance pride and modesty. And from the way the wind can both shout and whisper, we must learn when to be strong and when to be gentle, for everything moves in its own rhythm and its own yin and yang elements. It is the interaction of these complementary extremes that produces harmony, as Laozi said, extremes meet. Since the marathon, this notion of two opposite forces working together has been my running partner, so to speak. Yin and yang exist everywhere, constantly interacting, and never existing in an absolute condition.

The cheongsam is not too complicated to make. Nor does it call for too much material, for there are no accessories like belts, scarves, sashes or frills to go with it.

As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story.
65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure.
In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon’s mouth.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 2002, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.
When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was dee*** touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one’s error.

someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. i don’t know who wrote these words, but i’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. we are all in the position of the farmers. if we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. if we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.
we are young. “how to spend the youth?” it is a meaningful question. to answer it, first i have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. it’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. it’s the matter of the will. it’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.
a poet said “to see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. several days ago, i had a chance to listen to a lecture. i learnt a lot there. i’d like to share it with all of you. let’s show our right palms. we can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. i have a short line of life. what about yours? i wondered whether we could see our future in this way. well, let’s make a fist. where is our future? where is our love, career, and life? tell me.yeah, it is in our hands. it is held in ourselves.
we all want the future to be better than the past. but the future can go better itself. don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. from the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. we’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.
as what i said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. the past has gone. nothing we do will change it. but the future is in front of us. believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. and from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “we are the world, we are the future.”
My Dream
My dream is to have robots.In 2345, there are many robots in the world. Every family has more than one robot. Everyone can make different robot, it’s popular in the world.
I have three robots, the first one is from my friend, the second one is from my parents, and the third one is from my classmate.
The first robot is Peg. It has a square face, its body is a big circle, and it has a small mouth. It can run very fast, it can jump very high, it can swim slowly, and it can fly with me! It likes eating some milk for breakfast, some noodles for lunch and some porridge for dinner. Look! Peg is riding a bicycle. It’s learning about balance. Be careful, Peg!
The second robot is Jack. It has a round face, two small eyes and a big mouth. It can dance very well, it can play the piano quite well, and it can skate well. Jack likes ma-ki-ng friends with people, animals, trees and flowers, even air. Listen! Jack is playing the piano! Oh, that’s very good. Everyone likes it.
The last one is Dick. It’s the cutest than Peg and Jack. It can teach me how to live, and it can help me play, relax and learn new things!
The robots can teach me many things, they can make me happy, they are fun, I like it!
