I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here, talking about the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our health and life. We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lung and liver diseases. Besides, because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may run into each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.

As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. As individuals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reduce carbon dioxide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out the related law on pollution.

Actually I like swimming think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has ended I went swimming many times with my classmates we all had a good time. The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.
My vacation was very interesting. I did my homework on first day. I played table tennis on second day. I watched TV on the third day. I went shopping on the fourth day. I… But I liked my going shopping best.
On Sunday, I went to a shopping center with my mother. The shopping center wasn’t far from my home. It took us about ten minutes to get there on foot. The shopping center was very big. There were all kinds of things. Every day a lot of people go there to buy things. It opens at eight in the morning and closes at nine at night. Now, I was helping my mother buying things. I had a shopping list in my hand. We were looking for things on the shopping list. After staying in the shopping center for about two hours, we got all the things and walked home.

Urban residents dream of having easy access to modern transportation so that life will be easier and more convenient. English is a very important subject for Chinese students, and now they have to learn it even in the kindergarten. Some parents are willing to spend a lot of money to let their kids master English better. While the fact is that college English teachers find that most Chinese students’ English are in the low level, this problem lies in the language background. The traditional way pays attention to the grammar. Students’ ability of speaking English has been ignored, because it works nothing in getting high marks. What’s more, as they barely have the chance to speak with local people, so they can’t master English well. Today, with the development of technology, we can have access to all kinds of resources, it is very convenient to listen to the foreigners and get used to their accent. Only the lazy students refuse to learn it well.

二、在学*上

我读了一本名叫《双面猎犬》的动物传奇故事。洛嘎，达维娅和白眉儿之间的故事。书中所描述了洛戛不是日曲卡山麓常见的那种粗腰短腿看起来呆头呆脑的土狗。它的母亲是尕玛尔草原国营农场的一条身价很高的进口牧羊犬，它的父亲是一条从昆明军犬学校毕业的正在日曲卡雪山哨所服役的军犬。在它身上，既有英国哈利亚犬、德国迷你笃更犬和爱尔兰雪达犬等名贵西洋血统，又有云南高山犬和本地土狗的遗传基因，或许还隐匿着一星半点狼的血脉。它虽有洋狗的高贵，却没有洋狗的娇气;它有本地土狗吃苦耐劳的特性，却没有本地土狗的窝囊猥琐。
达维娅与洛嘎第一次相遇是被它追捕。它被洛嘎逼到怒江，可它们却被怒江冲离了岸边，被冲到了偏僻的峡谷。之后它们化敌为友，霸占小岛。有一天，洛嘎的主人找到了这里，洛嘎竟然毫不犹豫的背叛了达维娅。达维娅心灰意冷，便把正在吊桥上奔跑的洛嘎摇入滚滚的怒江之中。最后，达维娅拖着怀孕的身子一步一步的走回了埃蒂斯红豺群。第二天，达维娅便生产了两个小幼崽，第一个夭折了，第二个却难产。但豺的存活率很低，二死一已经很不错了。因为第二只小豺的眉间有着一块白斑，边取名为白眉儿。达维娅生知自己已经快命不久矣，便为白眉儿的.生存有很大的担心。它最终谋害了幼豺小风笛，为了让白眉儿能生存。这就是母爱的力量，为了让自己的孩子吃饱，不惜杀害别的孩子。
可几个月后，秃鹫把达维娅的尸体啄食，却被黑蝴蝶(小风笛的母亲)发现小风笛的尸体。知道了达维娅就是杀死小风笛的凶手，却有权利杀死达维娅的遗孀。可因为种种原因，无法对白眉儿下手。从此，白眉儿就混落到成为最低等的身份——苦豺。
白眉儿经历了种种苦难，终于被洛嘎的主人**成猎犬。呵呵，这是不是一种奇妙的缘分，促使这他们的心理。但它始终是混血，一半猎犬，一半红豺。不会像猎犬忠实一生，也有红豺的控制欲。总之，白眉儿的一生不会**淡淡，而是危险重重。
可达维娅的一生有些悲催。因为洛嘎而脱离群队，因为洛嘎而失去她自以为傲的尾巴，因为洛嘎而失去她的青春，懵懂和深爱的他。因为洛嘎的孩子白眉儿而杀了同类，被冠上恶毒的名号……其实都是因为洛嘎，一切灾难都是有他引起的，如果没有他，他的生活可能会更美好。但，这是不可能的。因为一切的发生了，无法改变。但她为了白眉儿确是的爱惜，不因为它是他的孩子，也是她的。无论怎样，只要它是她的孩子，就算杀了同类又怎样，被诅咒了又怎样。因为她的孩子还能生存。她的母爱是无价的，有限的，针对的。这样的母爱，轰轰烈烈!
读完了《麦田里的守望者》一书，一个少年形象出现在我的脑海中——他是大人们眼中的坏孩子，因为他所作的、所想的一切都“不像话”，他的成绩也是那样的糟糕，几乎没有人喜欢他……他就是全书的主人公——霍尔顿。
他的讨厌周围肮脏的世界——他讨厌伪君子，讨厌周围的虚假的人，却又不得不跟他们交往;他讨厌电影，却不得不在无所事事的时候去那里消磨时间……霍尔顿没有真正好的朋友，只有肮脏的“阿克莱”、表里不一的斯特拉德莱塔等室友，但他又不得不跟他们交往，他厌恶他们，却又无奈，他无法改变现状。他不想和他们同流合污，成绩自然会很差。他看不惯周围的世道，所以他苦闷、踌躇、彷徨，自己的心事也只能被自己扛着。
霍尔顿一直都希望自己可以变得很勇敢，但是实际却是他一直都很胆小，被别人欺负后只能在做白日梦的时候幻想着可以把他打败，他连一个瘦弱的女人都驯服不了，更何况别人呢?他被学校开除后，都不敢贸然回家，蹑手蹑脚地回去还一定要躲避着父母。他一直都在用一些不切实际的幻想安慰自己，却没有胆量去做真正意义上的叛逆。
他是青春期的少年代表，从他的经历里可以清楚的看到与家长的代沟，家长总希望他像哥哥一样可以成为出人头地的人，可是他的理想也只是做一个麦田里的守望者，站在悬崖上，捉住不断奔跑的孩子。大人总认为霍尔顿是一个败家子，是一个不良少年。但他有自己的思想，在他那半成熟的心中还存留着点点梦想，即使它在那污浊的世道变得那样的细微渺小。
霍尔顿是明智的，是聪明的，他看透了社会的本质。他的朴素和善良，是他所在的年代很少的，虽然他的有些思想还比较幼稚，虽然他有许许多多的缺点，但他反抗现实、向往美好世界的纯洁的一面是不可忽视的。
作者借助笔下的霍尔顿，活灵活现的展现了自己的想法，用一个处于青春期的孩子的口吻讲述了一个关于那所谓“叛逆”的想法，讲述了成熟与不成熟之间的过渡，大人与青春期少年之间的代沟。
霍尔顿的那个只想做一个麦田里的守望者的梦想，那个为了不让小孩子掉下悬崖而站在悬崖边救孩子的形象，那个纯洁无私的想法，天真幼稚却又些许成熟的心事，渐渐放大……
