而我也很庆幸，因为我有一个好阿太！阿太是我妈妈的外婆，她就是一个勤俭节约的模范！*时，我们每周会带上阿太去外婆家吃饭，每次对着外婆烧的一桌好菜，阿太总会说：“这么多的菜怎么吃得了，别剩下浪费了。”一桌子热气腾腾的菜她不吃，偏挑些冷的剩菜吃，我们让她吃些新鲜的热菜，她总说：“我吃吃这些剩菜够了，不然你们又要倒掉，多可惜！”很多时候，我们把些剩菜倒掉时被她发现了，我们就会听到一大箩筐的唠叨。
我想，我们的老一辈们珍惜粮食，是因为他们体会过劳动的辛苦，体会过那吃了上顿，没有下顿的日子，知道粮食来之不易！而我们这一辈，很多人在爸爸妈妈的精心呵护下长大，吃得好，穿得好，因此常常对浪费熟视无睹。然而我想，当祖国的`花朵，民族的希望已经把浪费粮食当成所以然的时候，那么祖国的明天还会美好吗？
“谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦”这个道理我们都懂，而光懂道理还远远不够，我们要付诸于行动。在此，我要大声呼吁：“光盘行动”势在必行，“光盘行动”从你我做起！

我们学校有许多同学都浪费食物，比如我们发加餐的时候，有许多的人趁下课的时候，就把加餐扔到了垃圾桶里，还有人把不小心掉的加餐故意用脚踩踩就扔，汤喝不完的时候，把汤就倒到盆子里。在我们学校里，还有些同学带一些钱买不干净的食品吃，回到家里家长做好的饭，他们吃几口就不吃了，把饭就倒掉了；这些都是不好的行为。

我们家经济条件比较好，每顿饭菜都很丰富，鸡鸭鱼肉样样齐全，可又吃不了那么多，剩菜剩饭都毫不留情地倒掉，很浪费。
这个星期天，姑姑带着何欢瑜妹妹来我们家玩。到了中午，爸爸带我们到‘’天香楼‘’酒店吃饭。于是，爸爸看着菜单，酱汁鸡翅，泡椒凤爪，特色烤鸭，椒盐鸡尾虾，红烧狮子头……一不小心点了十几个菜。这时，服务员在一旁善意的提醒我们；‘’先生，你点的菜已经够你们吃了，要是不够可以加菜的。‘哇，连饭店都行动起来了！我也不能落后，等一下吃不完的一定要打包。

有的同学会问，剩点饭菜算什么，我们家又不缺钱。可是听了我下面的话，你一定不会再这么想。
同学们猜一猜，什么是现今人类的第一号杀手？是战争吗？是自然灾害吗？都不是！答案是——饥饿！*均每年，饥饿夺去1千万人的生命。我们每天浪费的粮食只要回收5%，就可以多救活4百万饥民！所以，节约粮食也是一种慈善。
再有，我国68%的水用于农业灌溉，所以节约粮食也是在节约水资源。
另外，运输粮食、制造食品、处理食品垃圾的过程会产生污染。所以节约粮食实际上也是在保护环境。

如今，食物以各种姿态展现在我们的面前，我们有着各种各样的选择。不管是面食还是饮品，都像是一朵朵鲜花，以各种姿态绽放。但在绽放的同时，也有一些事情在悄悄的发生，那就是浪费。在我们的日常餐饮中，固然是要浪费一些的，比如说有时候买了一杯大型的饮品，喝不完就直接丢掉了，在聚会上为了所谓的面子点了一大桌子的菜，结果却因为吃不完导致全部丢掉了。虽然有时候大家会选择打包，但是有一部分的人也会因为面子问题而不选择打包，反而是选择直接丢掉。
大家要知道的是，在这个世界上，仍有一部分人是处于一种吃不饱穿不暖的阶段。还记得有一个新闻报道了一个地区的人因为没有食物，所以做了“泥巴饼”，为的就是饱肚子。有些人为了吃饱肚子可以吃不能吃的东西，而有些人却因为一些无所谓的东西肆意浪费，这样的极端的确是我们需要改变的。世界在发展，但我们人的思想也应该同步前进。浪费是一件错误的事情，我们不能因为一时鲁莽而选择错误的行为。这一点是我们必须要改正过来的。
