通过一个多学期的观察，我发觉有些孩子在英语课堂上学得很好，老师教的一般都会读，但第二天的反馈却比较差。一年级学生的学*能力、接受新知识的`能力比较强，但遗忘能力也十分强，如果当天晚上不进行复*的话，第二天往往会把前一天学*的内容忘记。所以为了让您的孩子英语学*有连续性，在课外，我希望家长能够多关心孩子的英语学*状况，并提以下几点建议：
1．帮助孩子养成听英语*惯。
⑴每天安排一个固定的时间（10分钟左右）督促孩子听英语。如每天固定在晚上7：00听英语，则每天一到这个时间就帮助孩子准备好，让孩子养成*惯。听英语时，能听一句跟着说一句，并对比自己的发音，尽量模仿，自己纠正。
⑵帮助孩子完成听说英语作业。因为我们是从口语开始训练，所以一年级的英语作业大多是听和说。让孩子看着英语单词卡片说一说，或边做动作边说等等。并建议家长让孩子看着英语书第一页的英语汇总表让孩子读一读上面的句子和单词。
2．帮助孩子养成用英语的*惯。

First of all, the complicated relationship. For one thing, you have to know how cultural differences function in your relationship and respect them. In addition, college students spend less time studying together owing to different courses’ choosing, which requires us to devote more energy to building relationship. For the other thing, it is also vital to communicate with your parents often by using mobile phones or other tools.
Secondly, the temptations. The college serves us a more relaxed environment mixed with other temptations such as the Internet, alcohols and so on. What’s more, the college teachers won’t compel you to study like before, you doze off or play cell phone in class, and you flee up the morning class because you get up too late. Such too frequent behaviors will cripple your passion and enthusiasm towards life, so it is essential for us to resist these temptations and insist pursuing our own goals.
Thirdly, the balance between study and work. Most of us will choose to take a part time job to earn the extra money or just to exercise ourselves. But it is significant to keep a relatively balanced relationship between them since I always regard the study as our main task, so my principle is adjusting work to follow the schedule of study.
In conclusion, whatever issues we meet or miseries we suffer from, confront the hash reality head on, what we can do is remembering the past, living in the present and looking forward to the future.

Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success.

通过一个多学期的观察，我发觉有些孩子在英语课堂上学得很好，老师教的一般都会读，但第二天的反馈却比较差。一年级学生的学*能力、接受新知识的能力比较强，但遗忘能力也十分强，如果当天晚上不进行复*的话，第二天往往会把前一天学*的内容忘记。所以为了让您的孩子英语学*有连续性，在课外，我希望家长能够多关心孩子的英语学*状况，并提以下几点建议：
1．帮助孩子养成听英语*惯。
⑴每天安排一个固定的时间（10分钟左右）督促孩子听英语。如每天固定在晚上7：00听英语，则每天一到这个时间就帮助孩子准备好，让孩子养成*惯。听英语时，能听一句跟着说一句，并对比自己的发音，尽量模仿，自己纠正。

Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name—Chinese. Since the day I began totalk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “I love you, China!”
I love you, China, and I’m so proud of being a Chinese. I’m proud that I’ve got the beautifulyellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful languagein the world—Chinese.
I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, Igot an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my father’sboss once invited my family to dinner. 通过一个多学期的观察，我发觉有些孩子在英语课堂上学得很好，老师教的一般都会读，但第二天的反馈却比较差。一年级学生的学*能力、接受新知识的能力比较强，但遗忘能力也十分强，如果当天晚上不进行复*的话，第二天往往会把前一天学*的内容忘记。所以为了让您的孩子英语学*有连续性，在课外，我希望家长能够多关心孩子的英语学*状况，并提以下几点建议：
1．帮助孩子养成听英语*惯。
⑴每天安排一个固定的.时间（10分钟左右）督促孩子听英语。如每天固定在晚上7：00听英语，则每天一到这个时间就帮助孩子准备好，让孩子养成*惯。听英语时，能听一句跟着说一句，并对比自己的发音，尽量模仿，自己纠正。

One reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieveanything. Another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from ourmistakes only if we make a new effort. If we do not try again, the lesson wehave learned is wasted. Finally, we should never give up because as we work toreach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeedin other areas of our lives.
Probably the greatest example of persistence is Abraham Lincoln. Born intopoverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eightelections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown.
He could have quit many times - but he didn't and because he didn't quit,he became one of the greatest presidents in the history of our country.
Lincoln was a champion and he never gave up.
In short, it is important that we don’t give up when working for our goals.Whether we succeed in the end or not, we will learn something, and what we learnwill help us to become better, more confident people. The tempo of modern civilization has been much quickened in the last twentyyears. While witnessing the dramatic changes in the better-off society, peoplebegin to reconsider the question of "survival". "Survival" in the old sense doesnot bother us anymore. Instead, we are more concerned about how to "survive" inthe human world full of competition.
Competition always carries abreast challenges and opportunities to everyoneinvolved. It might appear in an entrance exam, in a regular class, or in a smallpublic speech. Those who fail to detect its real nature-whether an opportunityor a challenge a competition really is- will lose something more or lessconducive to our growth. Of course, if we take the competition as anopportunity, we will favor it intentionally because they can help us outstandfrom the average; they will make us become the focus of public attention; theywill grant us more chances and rights to succeed. As a matter of fact,opportunities are supposed to be more perceptible and welcoming than challenges.The truth is, however, we will lose more opportunities when we choose to takethe "opportunity" fork at the crossroads. The other fork, ignored by us anddefined as "fearful challenges", offers much more chances for the walker incompetition.
We have such an inclination in life to overestimate ourselves and hold athoughtless attitude towards the negative outlook of things.
We believe in the old saying, "Opportunity knocks but just once," so wealways welcome it and devote all our spirit and efforts to it. The most devoutbeliever of this saying are the graduates. Why? There are quite a number of themwho pay full attention to positions in big cities and are willing to flood intodeveloped areas under any circumstances, even though there will be too muchuncertainty for their choices. Innumerable cases go straight to the samemiserable end: God seems to refuse to help too many of His worshipers.
In conclusion, to define the quuality of competition seems to be far fromvaluable sense, for no matter what a competition is, an opportunity or achallenge, it will create nutritious elements for our growth.

I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committeefor Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this isme and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story.
65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. Heoften visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there,which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted oneto keep as a treasure.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at havingstolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on hisconscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decidedto put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it tothe Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very glad to make a speech here. Today my topic is "I love you, China."
Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name—Chinese. Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been "I love you, China!"

你们好！
通过一个多学期的观察，我发觉有些孩子在英语课堂上学得很好，老师教的一般都会读，但第二天的反馈却比较差。一年级学生的学*能力、接受新知识的能力比较强，但遗忘能力也十分强，如果当天晚上不进行复*的话，第二天往往会把前一天学*的内容忘记。所以为了让您的孩子英语学*有连续性，在课外，我希望家长能够多关心孩子的英语学*状况，并提以下几点建议：
1．帮助孩子养成听英语*惯。
⑴每天安排一个固定的时间（10分钟左右）督促孩子听英语。如每天固定在晚上7：00听英语，则每天一到这个时间就帮助孩子准备好，让孩子养成*惯。听英语时，能听一句跟着说一句，并对比自己的发音，尽量模仿，自己纠正。
⑵帮助孩子完成听说英语作业。因为我们是从口语开始训练，所以一年级的'英语作业大多是听和说。让孩子看着英语单词卡片说一说，或边做动作边说等等。并建议家长让孩子看着英语书第一页的英语汇总表让孩子读一读上面的句子和单词。
2．帮助孩子养成用英语的*惯。
我们的英语教学不从a b c字母开始，而从英语口语开始，一方面是遵从学*规律；另一方面是为了孩子应用的需要。我希望您能多问问
孩子“今天英语学到了什么”，孩子学到的儿歌，歌曲等可以鼓励他表演给别人看。有条件的还可以用学到的与孩子对话。总之，鼓励孩子把学到的在家里用起来。
3. 帮孩子搜集一些少儿英文歌曲，在家里多让孩子听一听。
