一、指导思想
1、围绕学校的育人目标，以《中学英语课程标准》为基本标准，以激发和培养学生的学*英语的兴趣为基本任务，使学生养成良好的学**惯和构成有效的学*策略，发展自主学*的精神和合作精神;使学生掌握必须的英语基础知识和听说读写技能，构成必须的综合语言运用潜力。
2、围绕教研组发展的要求，以教师成长为目标，以校本研修为主线，以课堂教学为载体，以各级各类教研活动为依托，全面促进教研组的进步和发展。
二、工作重点
本学期初中英语教学教研工作，要以课堂教学为中心，围绕高效课堂教学改革，透过组织教师进行课改理论学*、安排公开课、建立资源库等一系列活动来促进初中英语教学质量的提高。
为配合学校新学期计划有关要求，办家长放心，学生满意，社会声誉高的品牌学校，我们英语组全体教师认真讨论学校了新学期工作计划，明确了新学期的奋斗目标，力争在本学期教学工作等各方面取得更好成绩。
一、全组上下团结协作，奋发向上。
形成一个有凝聚力的良好团体，老师们能在本学期加强自身师德修养，做到真情热融教，不断提高教育教学能力，在成就事业的同时，实现自身的不断进步。中老年教师做好传帮带工作，青年老师要积极进取，借助学校为我们搭建的*台，勤奋工作，努力做到教育态度端正、教育思想科学、专业水*和教学效果提高快。每位老师要摆正心态，不断创造快乐，享受工作，快乐生活，学期末利用教研活动时间讲自己工作中快乐的故事。
二、以专业理论学*为着眼点，增强责任意识，提高教育教学理论水*。
本学期我们组将继续通过集体备课、外出学*等方式坚持理论学*，利用教研活动时间集中讨论，通过学*，使我们组教师能站在新的理论高度去实施教学计划，落实教学目标。

My father is forty-three years old. He is a teacher. He works very hard. He always wears a yellow coat and a pair of blue trousers. He like doing sports and he likes basketball best.
My father loves me very much. He cheeks my homework every day. He often buys delicious food for me. On weekends we often go to the park with my mother. I love my father.
My father was a self-taught mandolin player. He was one of the best string instrument players in our town. He could not read music, but if he heard a tune a few times, he could play it. When he was younger, he was a member of a small country music band. They would play at local dances and on a few occasions would play for the local radio station. He often told us how he had auditioned and earned a position in a band that featured Patsy Cline as their lead singer. He told the family that after he was hired he never went back. Dad was a very religious man. He stated that there was a lot of drinking and cursing the day of his audition and he did not want to be around that type of environment.
Occasionally, Dad would get out his mandolin and play for the family. We three children: Trisha, Monte and I, George Jr., would often sing along. Songs such as the Tennessee Waltz, Harbor Lights and around Christmas time, the well-known rendition of Silver Bells. "Silver Bells, Silver Bells, its Christmas time in the city" would ring throughout the house. One of Dads favorite hymns was "The Old Rugged Cross". We learned the words to the hymn when we were very young, and would sing it with Dad when he would play and sing. Another song that was often shared in our house was a song that accompanied the Walt Disney series: Davey Crockett. Dad only had to hear the song twice before he learned it well enough to play it. "Davey, Davey Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier" was a favorite song for the family. He knew we enjoyed the song and the program and would often get out the mandolin after the program was over. I could never get over how he could play the songs so well after only hearing them a few times. I loved to sing, but I never learned how to play the mandolin. This is something I regret to this day.
Dad loved to play the mandolin for his family he knew we enjoyed singing, and hearing him play. He was like that. If he could give pleasure to others, he would, especially his family. He was always there, sacrificing his time and efforts to see that his family had enough in their life. I had to mature into a man and have children of my own before I realized how much he had sacrificed.
There are a lot of holidays for chinese people, such as National day, May Day, etc. However, chinese people look on spring festival as their most important one of all.And it's also my favorite festival, especially when I was a child, because In those days, I could have a plenty of delicious food to eat, enjoy a very long holiday and wear beautiful clothes. And what is more important is that I could received much new year's gift money. So, everyyear, I expected the spring festival would come soon. After I grew up, it's no longer as important to me as before . For I can have my delicious food and wear my favorite clothes every day. It's like I'm having spring festival every day!
Spring Festival is my favorite among all the Chinese traditional festival. The first reason why I love it the most is because I can get lucky money on that festival.
It is the Chinese custom that the old will give children lucky money on Spring Festival to wish a good luck for the young generation. Moreover, people everywhere on those days are full of happiness. Quarrel, fight and abuse are almost disappeared at that time.
Meanwhile, my mother will make a big meal for us to celebrate. Everyone will forget the unhappy thing they meet, instead remembering to appreciate life to wish a better future. That is my favorite festival.

本学期我担任初三年级(16)班的英语教学。由于教学经验颇浅，我对教学工作不敢怠慢，本学期以来，本人遵守学校各项制度，按时上课、组织学生早读，积极参加学校组织的各种教学活动，从各方面更加严格要求自己，结合本校的实际条件和学生的实际情况，认真备课、听课，深入研究教法，虚心向老教师请教，及时反思教学，使教学有计划、有组织、有步骤地开展虚心学*。现对本学期以来的教学教育工作做以下总结，希望不断发扬优点，克服缺点，总结经验，吸取教训，使自己的教学工作更上一层楼。
一、认真制定教学计划，使教学有序地进行。在新课程改革精神和新的.教学理念的灌溉下，我依照教学大纲、教材、学生实际和教育教学规律，制定了学期教学计划，规划好阶段计划，课时计划。在此基础上，设计好每一堂课。
二、认真备课。作为一名年轻教师，我的体会是，上好一堂课难，但备好一堂课更难。在备课之前，必须对所有内容进行熟悉，参考多方面的资料，认真深入钻研教材，确定重点难点，同时，备课不仅要备教材，而且要备教法，备教学手段，因此，本人在自身努力钻研教材和教法的基础上，积极配合搞好同年级老师的小组集体备课。
三、认真组织课堂教学。一堂课的四十五分钟，就是一个教师表演技能的阶段。上课时，本着“传道、授业、解惑”的原则，努力提高教学质量，使讲解有条理、清晰、准确、生动。使每堂课学生有所获，努力使学生打好基础，培养能力，发展智慧，培养学生的正确思
维方式，养成良好的学**惯。坚持做到以学生为主体，教师为主导，训练为主线。在课堂上，特别注意调动学生的积极性，加强师生交流，充分体现学生的主体作用，让学生学得容易，学得轻松，学得愉快。在课堂上，根据不同学生设计不同层次的问题，树立学生的自信心，让各层次的学生都得到提高。

What is worse, it keeps growing at a surprising speed. If this trend continues, the world's population will shoot up to 7,000 million by the year 2000. This is what we call population explosion.
The rapid development of science and technology is the main cause of population explosion. We can see that the population has been growing at a tremendous speed since the Industrial and Agriculture Revolution in 1650, which raised the people's standard of living, and the emergence of modern medicine in 1550, which lowered the people's death rate.
Population explosion will result in a lot of such problems as food shortage, housing shortage and unemployment. It is time that we acted quickly to carry out the policy of birth control otherwise, man's survival on the earth will be threatened.
my school
my school is in the east end of the city. it takes me half an hour to get to school on foot. i usually ride a bike to school.
通过参加新课程培训，我学*到了新颖的教学理念，更新了自己的教学观念，提高了教育教学水*，在交流、学*、总结中不断获得新知。其间每一点，每一滴都值得我认真反思。
一、认真钻研新课标，积极更新教学观念
我深刻地感受到，新课程下教师首先必须转变思想观念，提高认识，深刻理解新课程标准的内涵.我会结合这学*的宝贵经验，从语音、词汇、语法、听说读写的教与学，以及综合语言运用能力的培养等方面，对新课标进行一次全新的认识和学*。我相信，我一定能从中获得新的启发，找到一些新的答案，这对指导我今后的教学和促进能力提高必将发挥积极作用。
二、注重语言教学
新课标着重于语言的教学，本学期我担任七年级的教学，我就先从音标的教学开始，然后用音标来拼读字母和单词，从而进行读音分类，学生在学了音标后，对语音的有关练*做得很好。

I have known very few writers, but those I have known, and whom I respect, confess at once that they have little idea where they are going when they first set pen to paper. I never heard of anyone making an “outline”, as we were taught at school. This organic process, often leading to moments of extraordinary self-discovery, is of an indescribable fascination. A blurred image appears; he adds a brushstroke and another, and it is gone; but something was there, and he will not rest till he has captured it.
Sometimes the passion within a writer outlives a book he has written. I have heard of writers who read nothing but their own books; like adolescents they stand before the mirror, and still cannot understand the exact outline of the vision before them. For the same reason, writers talk endlessly about their own books, digging up hidden meanings, super-imposing new ones, begging response from those around them. Of course a writer doing this is misunderstood: he might as well try to explain a crime or a love affair.
He is also, incidentally, an unforgivable bore. This temptation to cover the distance between himself and the reader, to study his image in the sight of those who do not know him, can be his undoing:he has begun to write to please. A young English writer made the pertinent observation a year or two back that the talent goes into the first draft, and the art into the drafts that follow. For this reason also the writer, like any other artist,has no resting place, no crowd or movement in which he may take comfort, no judgment from outside which can replace the judgment from within. A writer makes order out of the anarchy of his heart; he submits himself to a more ruthless discipline than any critic dreamed of, and when he flirts with fame, he is taking time off from living with himself, from the search for what his world contains at its inmost point.
回顾这学期的工作，使我感到既繁忙又充实，异常是在区教研员和校领导的指导下，我的教学思想和教学水*都得到了很大的提高，并取得了一些成绩。但也存在不足，为了使我在今后的教育教学工作中取得更大的提高。下面我将这一学期的工作总结如下：
一、政治思想方面
在这学期的教学工作中，我自始至终以认真、严谨的工作态度，勤恳、坚持不懈的工作精神从事英语教学。我进取响应学校的各项号召，进取参加政治学*，认真领会学*资料，以教师职业道德规范为准绳，严格要自我。在教学中，能够做到为人师表，关爱学生，帮忙学生对英语学*充满学*热情和信心。初中英语教学工作总结
二、业务素质方面
为了适应课改的需要，我不断地钻研新的教学理念，探索新的教学方法，不断将自我的所*用到课堂教学之中，并进取与我校的其他英语教师研究教材、教法。
Some people love to play badminton, some love to play football, others love swimming, but my favorite sport is basketball. It is very popular in China because of Yao Ming. Because of him, many boys in China get to know about basketball. He is so excellent that everybody wants to play like him. He is my idol.

After school, I often play basketball with my friends. I am the tallest boy in my class, so I play as center. Playing basketball is not only good for our health, but also helping us to make friends. I hope someday I can be an outstanding player just like Yao Ming. Maybe in the future, I will go to NBA and win the champion.

Today was the second day of our Hong Kong visit. I was very happy asyesterday. But I felt tired a lot. Among others, there was a famousbookstore called PAGEONE.At last, I bought a beautiful skirtand some books。ThenI was exhausted but I didn't care in the slightest
A guy from America made a small test in the street. He wanted to see howpeople reacted when they saw someone was bullied. The test showed that more than90 percent of people would help the weak guy and criticized the one who bulliedthe others.
I was so moved by the people who gave their hands. The weak guypretended to be a nerd, and did something looking so stupid.
