英语社团招收的是八年级对英语感兴趣的学生，社团共有32人。本着丰富学生的课外生活和课外知识，提高学生的英语学*兴趣的原则，在*时的活动时，尽量采用多种手段的教学方式，安排生动有趣的内容，并且让学生完全参与，让他们自己决定上课的内容。让语言的学*更有实用性与真实性，让学生在学*中体会说英语的乐趣。做任何事情，兴趣是最好的老师。因此，本学期，我将社团的教学内容分成歌谣教学、英语小短剧教学、英语文化*俗知识介绍、知识传授等。

英语作为另一种语言，具有非常大的灵活性和运用性的。英语只有在运用中学*才能够学的更劳，真正的掌握这种语言。只靠课堂上的四十五分钟来学*是不够的。因此，开展课外的教学非常是有必要的。
开展课外英语教学活动可以巩固和提高学生在课堂上所学的知识，学生可在课外活动中把从课本上所学到的语言知识，拿到实际中来应用，从而弥补课堂上的不足；也能够培养学生的自学能力和创造能力，激发他们对于英语的兴趣。通过组织活动，我知道了在组织活动中应该注意：
1、全面考虑，合理安排时间、课外活动的地点以及形式等。
2、要结合现实情况，安排课外活动要符合学生的心理。尤其是初中生，他们现在正处于叛逆时期，处于身心剧变时期，容易固执和偏激，组织的活动一定要顾及到他们的心理成长特点。
3、在活动中，老师一定要充分参与其中。
时光荏苒，岁月如梭，转眼间我在志远实*了三个多月了。在这段时间发生了很多事，有好的，也有坏的；但是就是这些点点滴滴的事情，编织成了我最美好的回忆之一。下面我将本学期主要组织的课外活动例举出来：
一、作文比赛
英语作文非常能够体现学生的英语水*，也能够锻炼运用所学知识，表达自己的感情因此，为了提高学生的英语水*，我每个大周（两小周）就会举行一下作文比赛，然后自己出钱给写得较好的学生和进步大的学生发奖品。虽然奖品不是很好，但是学生们都很珍惜。通过作文比赛，学生的作文水*有了显著地提高。
二、“展示自我”
在讲到第七单元“Enjoy Your Hobbies”的时候，我组织了“展示自我”的活动。活动的主要内容：向大家展示自己，包括兴趣爱好、特长、将来的梦想、等等。
活动要求：必须用英语向大家展示自己，提前做好准备，可以把自己的爱好收藏带到学校向大家展示。在这次的活动中，我从另一个角度更进一步地了解了学生，拉*了与学生之间的距离。
他们有着各种各样的兴趣爱好。有的人喜欢收集邮票，他从小学就开始收藏，到现在已经有三四本了；有的人喜欢画画，尤其是话动画片里的人物，班里有个男生画了很多《七龙珠》的简笔画，特别是孙悟空（七龙珠里的主人公）。他说他很喜欢孙悟空，所以画了许多的孙悟空，并且希望将来长大了能像孙悟空那样厉害；有的喜欢打乒乓球；更甚至有的喜欢叠星星。而给我最大印象的是我的课代表，他很喜欢悠悠球，并且玩的很溜。他给大家表演了悠悠球，十分的精彩。怪不得总是看见他在玩悠悠球。
而我也向大家展示了我的兴趣爱好，那就是收集硬币，各国的，无论面值多少我都会收集起来。我的这个爱好是从高二开始的。那个时候我的哥哥是海员，有一次他给我带回了美国的硬币，在看到25分的硬币的那时起，我就喜欢上的硬币。从那以后，我就经常让我的哥哥从国外给我带回硬币。
最后，我们评比谁的爱好最特殊，学生都推选喜欢叠星星的那个男生。由于开展的课外活动准备充分而又很适合学生们的心理，他们不仅在活动中学到了知识，提高了英语的水*，而且更加喜欢英语了，在课堂上和课下都更加积极地学*英语，真正的在英语中找到了乐趣。
当“向科研要质量,科研上水*”成为教育工作者的共识；当一个喜忧参半的新世纪来到之际，当沸沸扬扬的英语教育大讨论渐趋沉寂之时，这就要求我们每一个英语教育工作者每天想的不是要灌输什么给我们的学生，而是如何让学生的固有的天分充分发挥出来。大家都知道，课外活动是教学的一种辅助组织形式，是课堂教学的延续和深入,是激发学生固有的天分的最佳方式之一。因此，抓好课外活动的开展，有助于教学质量的提高,有助于学生的身心发展。根据课外活动及英语学科的特点，在本学期，我对英语课外活动的开展做了如下的尝试：
一、 唱英语歌曲
举办丰富多彩的英语文艺晚会，特别是唱英语歌、英语小品等。因为唱歌能陶冶人的情操，优美的旋律能给人带来欢乐，绝大多数学生喜欢唱歌。而英语歌曲，他们更觉新鲜、有趣。因此，学生常常是积极地主动地请老师教，自己自觉地练。我在本期内教了《Yesterday Once More》(in Unit 4)、《To Be the Number One》(in Unit 2)、《Take Me Home Country Roads》(in Unit 3)等*10首歌曲，由于学生对英文歌曲特别感兴趣，他们便经常唱，反复唱。这样，他们的在体验音乐美感的同时，潜意思地复*或学*了一些单词、句型，从而提高了他们记忆能力和英语学*的兴趣。我国的大教育家孔子说过：“知之者不如好之者，好之者不如乐之者。”可见，兴趣是学生学*的主动力。
二、 经常让学生交流学*经验
学生不会灵活地运用英语，主要是没有掌握好表达的方法。有的学生由于不了解英语学科的特点，碰到困难就怨自己记忆力差，记不住，学不懂。我经常向学生介绍记忆方法，加强学法指导，让学生亲自体验总结外，还在每期的素质检测、考试后，召开一次学*方法讨论会，让学生相互交流、相互学*，这样学生获益很大。
三、组织英语竞赛活动
在中学生言行中，想让别人知道自己的长处，表现得很普遍、突出。于是，我组织了以小组/班为单位的英语竞赛活动，如英语书法比赛、口语比赛、听力比赛、英语单词的听写、默写比赛、英语书面表达比赛甚至唱英文歌曲等，并组织评委认真评定，评出集体奖和个人奖，并给予物质和精神奖励，对获得各项前三名的学生，我们还以贺信的形式向学生家长表示祝贺，这极大地鼓励了学生学*外语的积极性。
四、营造英语语言氛围
为了向学生创设英语语言环境，除了在课堂上尽力用英语组织教学外，我还做了如下探索。首先，英语课后师生之间交流尽量用英语，并鼓励成绩好的学生课后要多使用英语；其次，把学校花园设为英语角落，每逢周二晚定为开放时间。英语教师和爱好英语的学生自觉相聚于此，用英语交流思想，交流学*；谈论感兴趣的话题或复*、巩固所学的内容。如：Unit 1: Keeping Healthy. Topic 1: You should go to see a doctor. Topic 2: You must wash your hands before meals. Topic 3: What should we do to fight SARS?听英语教学磁带，唱英文歌曲，等等。这种语言环境的营造使学生体会到学英语有趣，学英语有用，英语容易学。
五、学生课外阅读与指导
阅读分精读和泛读，我们把课文作为精读教材，在课堂上进行。每教完一个单元后，我就从《英语周报》、《英语辅导包》《中学生英语读写》等刊物选出一至二篇同步阅读材料，作为泛读在课外进行，这种文章的长度和深浅程度与相应课文相似，适应学生的实际水*，有时，还可向学生推荐一些英语简易读物，这样就大大增强了学生的阅读量。
以上这些活动的开展一定程度上弥补了课堂教学的不足，既丰富了学生的课余活动生活，又激发了学生学*英语的兴趣。当然，还有许多有待今后继续改进、提高的地方。
我实*的学校位于承德兴隆山区，交通闭塞，资条件缺乏。受传统英语教学模式的影响，学生学*英语的兴趣不高，听说能力较差。因此，作为新一代英语教师，我深知培养学生英语学*兴趣，提高听说能力的重要性。为此，在*时的课堂教学中我十分注意学生活动，是学生真正成为课堂教学的主体。
本学期，我担任初一两个班的教学工作，在教学中，为了提高学生的英语学*能力，激发学生的英语学*兴趣，我组织了多次课外教学活动，下面就其中的两次进行总结。
一、“我是明星，我爱英语”
角色配音，角色模仿是英语口语训练的一种很好的方式，在本次活动中，我首先让学生们欣赏电影《人鬼情未了》里的经典对白，让学生大致了解故事情节。在听三遍之后，将全班同学分成三组，进行角色配音，角色模仿，看哪一组模仿得像，模仿的好。
在上边试听模仿环节之后，学生会对故事情节及对白更加了解。下一环节就要将表演带劲活动中了，让学生表演，把讲台变成舞台。学生是演员，教师是导演。学生在表演故事情节中的对白之外可以加入自己的语言，自己的思想。做到声情结合，使学生尽可能多的得到听说机会。
在此项活动中，我总结了四项注意事项：
1、让学生模仿原声带中的语音语调。
2、对于一些较难的句子，老师要领读，领读时语音语调要有感情色彩，要尽量把各个角色的性格特点淋漓尽致的表现出来。
3、随着情节的发展要有贴切的动作，逼真的表情使学生有身临其境之感。
4、要准备一些简单的道具，使学生表演时更有真实感。
看英文电影，模仿声音是英语学*的重要途径。通过本次活动，提高了学生的听说能力，使学生在听说方面有了长足的发展，有滴水穿石之效，充分体现了灵活多样的教学手段，行之有效的教学方法的重要性。
二、getting started(play a game learn English songs)
初中生的英语课本有时课文内容很枯燥，单词量大，学生掌握其起来很困难。因此，我设计了一些活动来调动学生学*英语的积极性。在unit7一单元中就有许多关于国家和地球的单词，为了使学生更好的掌握单词，我采用了以下方法：
1、放学后，学生自带凳子到操场做成一圈。
2、教师站在当中，将学生编号，并开始游戏。
首先，按照数字的顺序将学生编号为1、2、3。这一过程有点像体育课上的1、2报数反复要求学生记住自己的号码。然后，向学生交代游戏规则。站在圆圈中间的人负责喊一个号码，被叫到号码的同学需要马上站起来，和同一号码的同学交换座位，不准坐回自己的座位。在交换座位的时候，站在圆圈中间的人要设法找到空位坐下，最后没有座位的同学将留在圆圈中间，而这位同学必须拼写出学生提出的本单元的五个单词，完成之后，游戏继续。
当游戏进行到一定程度的时候，教师要有必要将学生的编号进行调整，在调整过程中设法融入更多的`本单元的知识。
3、当学生在游戏中被充分激发了兴趣同学逐渐掌握所有单词之后，将同学们围城的大圈逐渐缩小，然后组织学生学唱本单元的英文歌，先跟录音机模唱，然后再自己试唱。
通过本次活动，学生较好的掌握了第七单元的单词，对本单元有了更深的印象，调动了学生学*英语的兴趣。

在总结去年经验的基础上，我们发现在经营英语角的时候，还增加了一种给予的形式，给大家带来新鲜的东西，让大家真实地感受到来到我们英语角是真的有所得，有所学，是有收获与成长的。只有这样才能保持我们英语角的特色与吸引力，不断扩大我们的品牌影响力，同时这也是克服英语角发展瓶颈的必经之道。在每期英语角活动的前一周内，我们工作人员都会搜集大量的英语口语实用材料，并把材料印发给所有到场的英语爱好者。我们通过前半年的努力工作使得来到英语角的同学都积极地参与和投入到活动当中来，享受说英语的乐趣。我们的希望就是要让每一个到英语角的人都能感觉到自己是英语角这个大家庭中的一份子。因为英语角最终还是要靠大家积极地参与才能继续发展下去。
本学年英语角一共进行了三次活动，活动时间一般是每周四下午17：30—18：30在地理园举行。
英语角本学年活动形式多种多样，主题一般是根据当时的热点话题、西方和中国的传统节日而确定的，实用性较强，旨在让同学们对中西方不同文化和风俗有更多的了解。
我们办过一期主题为sports的活动，临*校运会。学生对自己所喜欢的运动类型，以及校运会参赛项目进行
了交流，师生之间进行了良好的互动，切实从日常生活角度锻炼学生的口语。
我们还办过一期主题为music的活动，让大家畅谈自己所喜欢的.音乐类型，以及自己喜欢的歌手及原因。music这个话题贴*学生生活是大部分学生感兴趣的日常频繁接触到的话题，学生对于音乐有很多的看法，尽舒己见。
本学期的英语口语角虽然缺少了外教的参与，但学生仍然积极参与。有不少口语水*相对薄弱的学生在老师的鼓励下敢于用英语表达自己并且越说越好，这也让所有参与进来的师生感受到英语口语角为学生带来的良好影响。
举办这些形式多样的活动就是为了更好地服务全校的同学，英语角是对全校同学免费开放的，我们高中教研组所有的成员都在尽自己最大的努力来为大家提供一个良好的交流与学*环境。即使有时候会因为各种原因而导致活动不能很顺利地的进行，但是在大家不断地支持下，英语角通过了一道又一道的关卡和考验，一直发展到了今天。我们相信，我们一定会越做越好！
这学期开校不久,学校为了提高学生的综合素质,利用每天下午第四节课的时间,开展了语、数、外、艺体学科课外活动。我们英语组的教师也积极响应学校号召，投入到英语课外活动的筹备中来。
英语学科涉及到第二语言的学*，因此教学有其特殊性。具体到小学年龄段的孩子，更有一定的难度。这就要求我们要更充分地备课，更精心设计课堂，为学生更好的学*奠定基础。课外活动不仅仅是课堂知识的延伸。因此，在备课时我们以课本内容为基础，学*更多的常见单词与句型，让语言的学*更有实用性与真实性，让学生在学*中体会说英语的乐趣。做任何事情，兴趣是最好的老师。在备课中，我们考虑了如何更高效率地提高孩子学*的积极性。从教学内容的选取上，我们偏向于孩子们常见的、喜欢的物品。如：动物、食品、学*用具等。在形式上，我们采用多种形式丰富课堂教学。在游戏中创设愉快的教学情景，通过歌曲、韵句的学*来巩固知识，培养小学生学*英语的兴趣。
由于小学生学*英语时注意力持续时间较短，爱说好动，好奇心强，记忆力好，属直接感觉型的思维类型，害羞，怕笑。在教学过程中，我们创设一定的情景，增加一些游戏性活动，帮助他们理解与记忆。在学*水果时，设置购物场景，模拟买卖物品，学*句型：Can I help you? May I have ．．．?在学*文具时，模拟借物，创设情景，学*“May I borrow ．．．?”利用虚构的动物园游览，学*关于动物的单词，谈论“I like ．．．”这一个个模拟的生活场面与虚拟场景，使学生明确了对话发生的特定场景，使学生把语言和它要表达的情景直接联系起来，感受语言学*的亲切、真实，从而很容易地掌握小学阶段的日常用语。在游戏或真实情景中学*语言知识，激发了学生学*的兴趣，让其不再感到疲劳，不在有害怕的感觉。

除了一至六年级各自的教案外，我们还制定了一份就小学阶段而言，较详细，较完整，较系统的课外活动教案。里面罗列了需要掌握的各类别的名词：动物类、水果类、文具类等，以及常见的场景：购物、看病等，让我们对课外活动内容的教授有一个整体的认识。各教师可以根据各年级的特点，从中选取内容教学，适应了学生学*的年龄特点与接收能力。这样层层教学、环环相扣，使学*有一个整体性与计划性。
通过课外活动的学*，参与的学生在口语交际方面都得到了提高，在期末的口试中也得以体现；学生还借助“手抄报”的形式展示了自己的特长，学*的兴趣也得到了很好的培养与提升。
可以说，课外活动的开展给学生提供了一个练*英语口语的好机会，好场所。在这里，孩子们不仅学到了知识，还更增进了学*英语的自信心，对今后的学*有很好的促进作用。
当然，在这个过程中，我们还有做得不够的。在以后课外活动的实施中，我们还应更系统、更全面地完善教案，准备更多的教具活跃、丰富我们的课堂。在内容上，选择更切合实际的，与生活密切相关的用语，让学生“乐学，善学”，且“学以致用”。
转眼间，一个学期的兴趣小组活动已接*尾声。虽然每个星期的课外活动时间都付与了兴趣小组活动，但一想起同学们日益高涨的学*热情，一想到孩子们不断增长的英语知识，我觉得十分欣慰。毕竟在此中得到的喜悦是远远不能用休息来获得的……为了把日后的英语兴趣活动搞的更加有声有色, 我把这次兴趣活动中的经验总结如下:

课外活动是教学的一种辅助组织形式，是课堂教学的继续和深入。
因此，抓好课外活动的开展，有助于教学质量的提高。根据课外活动及英语学科的特点，我对英语课外活动的开展做了如下的尝试。
一、教唱英语歌曲
唱歌能陶冶人的情操，优美的旋律能给人带来欢乐，绝大多数学生喜欢唱歌。而英语歌曲，他们更觉新鲜、有趣。因此，学生常常是积极地主动地请老师教，自己自觉地练。我曾在一期内教了“Good Morning to you”“Don''t Be Late Again”“Mother''s Kiss”等*20首歌曲，由于学生对英文歌曲特别感兴趣，他们便经常唱，反复唱。这样，他们的在体验音乐美感的同时，不自觉地复*或学*了一些单词、句型，从而提高了他们记忆能力和英语学*的兴趣。
二、组织学生交流学*经验
据研究，学生学不懂英语，主要是没有掌握学法。有的学生由于不了解英语学科的特点，碰到困难就怨自己记忆力差，记不住，学不懂。因此，教师除了要经常向学生介绍记忆方法
，加强学法指导，让学生亲自试验总结外，还应做到在每期的半期考试后，召开一次学*方法
讨论会，让学生相互交流、相互学*，这样学生受益匪浅。
三、组织英语竞赛活动
想让别人知道自己的长处，这是正常人的普遍心理，这一点在中学生言行中表现得尤为突出。
据此，我组织了以年级为单位的英语竞赛活动，如英语书法比赛、口语比赛、听力比赛、英语单词的听写、默写比赛、英语书面表达比赛等，并组织评委认真评定，评出集体奖和个人奖，并给予物质和精神奖励，对获得全年级前三名的学生，我们还以贺信的形式向学生家长表示祝贺，这极大地鼓励了学生学*外语的积极性。
四、组织地编写活动
培养学生的编写能力对学生今后的学*和工作将产生重大的积极影响。我每个年级都组织了一个编写小组，每小组3人，要求每小组每两周出一次墙报，每一月出一张油印报，每一期出两次英语复*资料。
这些学生热情高，均能按时、按质、按量完成任务，其他学生宁可不读其他报刊，但学生编的却要期期读、认真读，这就丰富了外语学*的形式。
五、营造英语语言氛围
为了向学生创设英语语言环境，老师除了在课堂上尽力用英语组织教学外，我们还做了如下探索。
首先，英语教师之间交流要用英语，并鼓励年级较高的学生课后要多使用英语。
第二，学校花园为英语角落，每逢周五晚英语教师和各班英语爱好者自觉相聚于此，用英语交流
思想，交流学*。
第三，充分利用校广播定时播放英语广播讲座或英语教学磁带，这种语言环境的营造使学生体会到学英语有趣，学英语有用，英语容易学。
六、指导学生课外阅读
阅读分精读和泛读，我们把课文作为精读教材，在课堂上进行。每教完一个单元后，我又从《中小学外语教学》、《中学生英语读写》等刊物选出一至二篇同步阅读材料，作为泛读
在课外进行，这种文章的长度和深浅程度与相应课文相似，适应学生的实际水*，有时，还可向学生推荐一些英语简易读物，这样就大大增强了学生的阅读量。
这些活动的开展一定程度上弥补了课堂教学的不足，既丰富了学生的课余活动生活，又激发了学生学*英语的兴趣。
实践证明，根据学科特点、教学条件，适当地开展英语课外活动既必要又可行。
本学期小学英语教研组全体老师在学校各级领导的指导下，在郭主任的直接领导下，按照上级的要求于开学初制定了有效可行的英语教研组工作计划，在本学期共开展了3次正式的教研组活动以及一些不定期的活动，全面务实的完成了本学期的教学英语工作，主要总结如下：
教研活动完成情况：
在本学期的开学初，我们组就组织在一起，按照学校教导处的学期教研活动要求，先认真学*教导处的各项要求，然后共同探讨和制定了：
(1)教研组的学科课题：阅读教学初探(此课题也是延续前几个学期的研究课题);
(2)制定出教研组活动计划表;活动内容主要有:观看优秀教师的课堂实录碟片(均为外地优秀教师授课);共同帮助组里参加兵团小学英语课堂教学比赛的老师备课，评课，议课;青年教师评优课上课及评课、议课;阅读教学体会交流;分析三、四、五、六年级的一个单元如何上;阅读教学体会(写出体会文章)。
(3)本学期学科活动计划(五、六年级英语作文大赛)。
教研活动制定出来以后，还要更好的执行。我们组在教研组长的带领下，严格按照计划执行。
首先是帮助参加兵团小学英语课堂教学比赛的老师备课，评课，议课，先听试讲课，然后议课，大到教学思路的把握，小到一个环节和一个环节怎么衔接，一句话一句话怎么说，都互相议论，互相探讨，力求简明明了，不拖沓;在课件的制作上，全组也是集体出力，有的找素材，有的出点子，制作出来的课件美观实用。经过授课教师和大家的努力，我们推出的这节课被评为兵团一等奖，授课教师代表兵团参加了在云南举办的少数民族地区英语大赛，也获得了一等奖的好成绩，为学校和我们英语教研组争了光，添了彩。这些成绩的取得，与全组教师的努力分不开，每位教师在这次活动中都有收获，有体会，这同时也证明了一个道理，要合作，才能发展。
本学期的另一个重点是青年教师评优课，它是对我们青年教师教学能力的一次考验及教学能力的一次展示，在第一次教研会上，我们就让年轻教师自己准备课，制作相关的课件。同时强调必须狠抓课堂教学，多在课堂上用英语来发出一些指令，任何一位教师来本班上课均不困难。经过认真的准备，每一位年轻教师的课，大家均去听课，从同事身上学*优点，避免自己的缺点。在这次评优课上，我们的两位三年以上教龄的.老师所上的课被兵团教研室的老师评为优秀，四位教龄在三年以内的老师所上的课也都在以前的基础上，有了很大的进步，每一位教师都进步了。评优课后，我们组进行了认真的总结，指出优点，提出缺点，以及以后在课堂教学中应该注意的方面。(教研记录本上附有专门的每位教师的评语)
我们组教研气氛浓郁，不仅在学校规定的时间我们认真进行教研活动，就是在*时的教学中，为了一句话怎么导入，一个单词怎样让孩子迅速记住，我们也常常是争得面红耳赤，听完课后的评议课上，我们只指出本堂课的不足之处，需要改进的地方，不是我们看不到别的老师的优点，而是我们都认为把这些需要改进的地方改好才是最重要的。本学期，我们组人人听课均在20节以上，教研组长更是在50节左右，全组听课总计在220节左右。
我们组不仅在自己的组内听课，议课，还认真学*外校的优秀教师的课例，我们共分两次学*了夏恩力老师和田湘军老师的课，评课、议课后，每位教师分别写出了《我学到的一个优点》和《我需要注意的一个缺点》的文章(附在教研活动记录本后)。
阅读教学是我们组自订的一个长期的研究课题，这学期，我们还是把阅读教学贯穿在我们*时的教学中，每位教师都有自己的见解，在阅读教学交流会上，大家积极探讨，写出了自己的体会文章。
在教研组定的另一项活动----分析每个年级的一个单元如何上这个教研活动中，我们也是集中大家的好点子，提出了好的教学方法，为将来教师上这几个单元打下了基础。
今年我们组共完成两项学科活动：
一个是五、六年级英语作文大赛(已经写出了相关的总结);一个是邀请现在七年级的学生给六年级的同学做的学*体会交流(也写出了相关的总结)。这两项活动都很成功。
计划毕竟是计划，开学初制定的计划在具体的教研活动中就显露出一些不适合的地方，如：
一.阅读教学只是每个人的见解，没有在具体的课堂教学中体现，实践性不强;
二.每位教师的听课只在评优课时听听，*时互相进班听课学*的次数少;
三.课后教学反思流于一般的叙述，没有起到真正的反思作用;
四.英语课堂用语应该每天练*。
收获的20xx过去了，相信在学校各级部门的领导下，在英语组全体老师的共同努力下，今后的工作会取得更大成绩。
英语课外活动是课堂教学的重要补充形式，开展好英语课外活动是提高学生英语交际能力和重要途径之一。周密的准备，精心的安排，充分地调动学生的积极性是活动成功的关键，处理好活动所涉及的有关问题是开展好英语课外活动的保障。
*几年，我校也开展了英语课外活动，但课外活动花样各异，活动形式、方法以及内容随意性都比较普遍。因此，课外活动能在自然环境中轻松自如地，和谐地配合课堂扩充语言实践，巩固和发展语言运用的技能。
一、全面考虑，合理安排
英语课外活动作为课堂教学的辅助形式，应和课堂教学实际紧密联系，但又不是课堂教学的简单重复，否则，课外活动就失去了意义。因此，我们在安排英语课外活动时，必须考虑学生的年龄特点和英语知识水*，活动内容不能过难，要易于不同程度的同学接受，而且活动项目要少而精。
二、自愿参加，自觉进行
在组织课外活动时，一方面应坚持自愿参加的原则；另一方面应注意争取吸收尽可能多的学生参加，尤其是要充分重视吸收差生参加，要注意发挥差生的特点，挖掘出他们潜在的积极因素，调动他们的积极性。同时，课外活动要让学生自觉进行，老师则处于辅导地位，让学生成为活动的主人。教师应重视培养学生独立自主精神，启发引导学生开动脑筋、独立思考、独立学*的能力。
三、组织形式多样，寓教于乐
英语课外活动很多，但我们应该选用适合于学生年龄特点和知识水*的、生动活泼、简单明了、能寓教于乐、寓学于乐的活动形式。下面列举几个在实施过程中可形成的活动形式：
1、英语歌咏比赛。就已所学课文的内容，要求学生按一定的语言规则去朗读，参加人数不限，可自愿报名，同时组织学生评委进行评分。这种活动对培养和提高学生的语言能力及阅读能力大有益处。
2、英语角。根据学生的不同年级，利用下午上课前30分钟的时间，交流组织英语解活动。每一次的topic内容都必须与现实生活紧密相关，对于低年级的学生由于所学的英语词汇量和学到的短语句子较少，交流起来有一定的难度。可让学生大声朗读或背诵课文中学到的小诗，tonguetwister、chant，以培养学生的语感。有些内容既拓展了课本知识，又来源于生活，容易引起学生的兴趣。
3、英语书法比赛。可不定期地就短文，小诗或寓言小故事进行英文书写比赛。活动先以班级为单位，人人参加，从中筛选出较好的一些参加年级比赛。比赛时，必须统一书写内容，书写格式及其他要求。4、英语墙报。定期从出墙报的形式帮助学生巩固所学知识，提高兴趣，每期的墙报应具有越味性，短小易懂。多以英语谚语、心得为主，辅以一些介绍英美国家风俗*惯的内容，增长学生的见识，增强学生跨文化意识，提高跨文化交流能力。
5、英语兴趣小组。各年级每星期开展一次英语兴趣小组活动，老师组织学生唱歌，会话、表演、朗诵、游戏等。每一个兴趣小组要配上一位指导老师，以便对小组情况进行检查，或帮助他们解决困难，提出具体指导意见。
还有其他活动形式。如：英文歌曲比赛、英语故事会沙龙、英语游园会、英文小报制作比赛、英语智力竞赛等等。
四、认真总结，及时激励
每次课外活动老师应让参加活动的学生进行跟踪管理并给予综合评价。让学生知己知彼，改进跟上。评价也可在期末进行，期评时汇入综合*均成绩，算入期评成绩的加分项。然后再由教师或学生评委认真总结，肯定成绩，指出存在的问题，分析原因，纠正错误，提高今后发展方向。
转眼间，一个学期的兴趣小组活动已接*尾声。虽然每个星期的课外活动时间都付与了兴趣小组活动，但一想起同学们日益高涨的学*热情，一想到孩子们不断增长的英语知识，我觉得十分欣慰。毕竟在此中得到的喜悦是远远不能用休息来获得的……为了把日后的英语兴趣活动搞的更加有声有色,我把这次兴趣活动中的经验总结如下:
一、兴趣是学*的动力

本学期，本人在根据镇、校的阅读计划和英语科组的计划，在英语阅读方面主要做了以下几方面的工作：
一、围绕镇本课外阅读开展本学科课外阅读活动。

二、反思与困惑。
1．研究过程中遇到的困难：
a）资源的有限。教师很难为学生提供足够的、丰富的活动材料，只能利用手头仅有的报纸和杂志，尽可能的发挥其最大的作用。
b）教师学*材料的缺陷。英语教师很“苦”，学*资源太少，和课题有关的书籍更少，能对我们研究提供指导和帮助的材料几乎没有，只能独自摸索，探讨行之有效的做法，可能会有一点的局限性。
2．困惑与思考。
a）活动的目的。活动的目的'究竟为了什么？是提高学生的应试能力？还是培养学生的思维能力，语言表达能力，综合能力？前者是显性的，我想教师只要注重方法的指导，多做多练，效果就会很显著；而后者是隐性的，潜移默化的，他不能够量化，甚至需要经过很长一段时间才能表现出来。前者的目的更容易达到。

三、努力的方向：

3、要丰富学生的课外实践活动，要求富有新意，积累一些优秀的学生活动.
4、知不足而后进，我将继续在研究中不断学*、探索和成长。
英语作为另一种语言，具有非常大的灵活性和运用性的。英语只有在运用中学*才能够学的更劳，真正的掌握这种语言。只靠课堂上的四十五分钟来学*是不够的。因此，开展课外的教学非常是有必要的。
开展课外英语教学活动可以巩固和提高学生在课堂上所学的知识，学生可在课外活动中把从课本上所学到的语言知识，拿到实际中来应用，从而弥补课堂上的不足；也能够培养学生的自学能力和创造能力，激发他们对于英语的兴趣。通过组织活动，我知道了在组织活动中应该注意：
1、全面考虑，合理安排时间、课外活动的地点以及形式等。

To begin with, it is the employment pressure that forces college students to get more certificates. With the admission expansion of colleges, a lot more graduates have to face the fierce competition in the job market. How can one make himself more competitive? More certificates at hand, maybe. Furthermore, diploma and certificates are still vital standards by which a good many employers measure a person’s ability. In order to increase the qualifications for a job, the students compel themselves to run from one exam to another.
From my point of view, we should be more rational when it comes to certificates, since certificates do not necessarily prove one’s ability. Being crazy in getting certificates blindly is nothing but wasting time. To conclude, we should focus on improving our ability but not getting a certificate of no practical value.
