我按我们名单顺序坐在了座位上，好奇地寻找我的夏令营老师。终于在人群中看到外教老师的庐山真面目。只见他大约一米九的高个，雪白的脸上有着一双蓝色的大眼睛，一张小巧的嘴巴，金黄色的小型爆炸头看起来充满喜感。
我们的外教老师很“皮”，课上到一半，突然一个人先跑出去。再做一个跟上我的.手势，大家站起来紧跟着外教老师。老师用食指放在嘴上“嘘”了一声，示意让我们先蹲着轻轻地走，不要发出声音，不要被隔壁班的同学发现。为了脚步一致，老师让我们在心里叫“3，2，1”。隔壁教室的同学只听到一声巨响，一个个吓得鬼哭狼嚎、惊慌失措……哈哈哈，原来是老师带我们去做恶作剧，15个学生一起用手拍隔壁教室的窗户。没想到我们刚回到教室坐下来，刚刚被拍的那个教室的同学也反攻了一次，过来不停地拍我们教室的窗户。
外教老师上课真特别，可是我们的英语水*不高，不能和外教老师很好地沟通。为了减少距离，本次夏令营采用了体演教学法的模式，体就是利用肢体语言让对方体会的意思，演就是表演的意思。我们一边说几个熟悉的英语单词，一边做手势，这样的交流方式虽累，但挺有意思的，特别是有些同学和老师的夸张的动作，让人捧腹大笑。

xx市中小学生社会实践基地是我省唯一一所建成运行的国家示范性综合实践基地。基地树立“体验、感悟、创新、成长”的办学理念，以“拓展学校教育、衔接社会教育、实践素质教育”为办学宗旨，以“打造特色鲜明、湖北一流、全国知名的中小学生社会实践基地”为发展目标，全面实施素质教育。基地运行两年多来，得到了广大参训师生和社会各界的一致好评，来此考察过的中央、省市领导都给予了极高的评价，基地以其独特办学理念和鲜明的办学特色在省内外产生了轰动的社会影响。
