二、英语教学要尊重个体差异性，不能对学生制定统一的标准
英语学*的评价也应当是多元的和多样性，并且是多层次的评价方式。这也是课改革的重点和难点。实行分层评价，促进学生的发展。同样，分层评价有利有弊。首先，分层评价为学生供给一个“最*发展区”。使他们经过自身努力能到达易见的效果，较好地保护“弱势群体”的自尊心。同时，也能促其不断向高层次挺进，使他们也能享受一段对于他们而言良好的教育；使那些本事强的学生享有进入更高级教育的机会。可是，也会给少数惰性较大的学生找到利已的借口。

如何有效地解决“哑巴英语”这一问题一直为广大教师所关注。常言道：知其然且要知其所以然。而解决问题的关键就是要找到造成该现象的原因。只有这样，方能做到对症下药。对于“哑巴英语”造成的原因，我认为可以归纳为三点：
一、传统应试教育的弊端。
考试一直是传统应试教育检查学生学*情况的主要手段，而评估教师的教学能力的标准在很大程度上是学生学*成绩。“优秀教师”往往是指最有办法、最能精确抓到考题的老师，而学生要的也就是会抓重点并切中考题的老师。为了使学生的成绩得到提高，为了升学率，老师们在教学中更注重的往往也是典型题型的解题方法或操练等应付考试的办法。而口语未列入高考考试内容，因此被忽略成了其必然性。这样一来，分数再高的学生也有可能在英语口语方面是哑巴了。
二、传统教育模式及教学方法的弊端。
传统的教育理念认为知识的传授过程即是一个灌输过程。许多老师因此在课堂上充分发挥着主导的作用，为了确保学生能更掌握所传授的知识，常常不可避免地运用满堂灌的教学方法，自始至终都以老师为主体，学生则处于被动学*的地位，口语练*的机会更是少之又少。如此一堂课上完，教师愈是疲惫不堪，学生愈是收获甚微了。
三、学生缺乏自信心。
许多学生由于自信心不足，往往不敢开口说英语，总是害怕由于说错或语音不准而招来同学的嘲笑。当他们被提问或被要求对话时，常常会面红耳赤，说不出话来。这些现象都不仅体现出他们害羞的心理，还体现出他们对自己的能力缺乏自信。
我国*年来提倡的素质教育和新课程改革就是英语教学上的转折。应试教育的种种弊端已越来越多地显示出其被淘汰的趋势。而新课程注重的是根据教育的规律和学生的身心发展规律来展开教学的。它要求以学生为主体，注重思想素质、心理素质、能力素质等方面的培养;要求学生对所学*的语言项目不仅能掌握、识记，更重要的'是把它们运用到实际中来。英语是一门语言，学*这一语言重要的不是语法或时态的生搬硬套，而是要能够学以致用。如果学生不能够把它运用出来，那么所学的语言也就会失去其存在的价值，学生也将会更加确信英语学*的“无用论”，以致把它扔到一边去了。
为打破学生学*英语的被动局面，提高英语口语水*，从根本上向“哑巴英语”告别，我的做法是：
一、营造语言环境。
我们知道一个小孩之所以能学会说话，主要是因为他置身于一个语言环境中，每天他都能听到来自周围许多人所说的话。而他本人也不断地进行模仿，渐渐地由能发出单音到多个音节以致能表达自己的需求，这就说明了语言环境的重要性。为了给学生创造语言环境，我在上课时采用英语来组织教学，用英语来解释英语。尽可能避免用汉语上英语的现象，不再把所有的文章或对话都翻译成汉语，只有在必要的时候才适当运用母语。这样一来，学生便可以有更多的机会听说英语，从而为英语口语的提高创造了条件。
二、激发兴趣，使学生积极参与课堂教学。
我发现，学生的口语与课堂教学是密切相关的。一些*时在课堂上积极配合老师并能做出相应反应的学生，其口语表达能力会强一些;而另一些较为腼腆的学生或成绩较差的学生往往会在课堂上保持沉默，表现出很不自信，其口语自然就差一些。因此，我在教学中便常常投入情感教学，真诚地与学生交谈，了解学生学*、生活情况，缩小师生间的心理距离，以激发他们学*英语的兴趣。并鼓励他们克服困难，大胆开口，不要害怕出错。不但在课堂上要大胆说，而且在课后也要随时运用日常用语。我在教学中还适当运用了“Thank you / Please / Well done / Never mind.”等有助于激励学生的词，使学生很受鼓舞。每个班已有百分之八十以上的学生都在课堂上跃跃欲试。
三、改变教学方法，发挥老师的指导作用。
课堂上，我提倡的是把时间还给学生，让学生多说、多练。老师扮演的角色是总指挥，而不是激情演讲的演说者。对于阅读文章或对话的教学，我采用了引导复述、对话、讨论、即时背诵等方法。不仅活跃了课堂，还达到了锻炼学生人人动脑想、个个开口说的目的。
四、及时表扬，强化成功体验。
在口语教学过程中，我认为要把口语水*提高起来，树立起学生的信心，就要使他们感受到成功的喜悦。由于学生层次不同，我对不同的学生提出了不同的要求，而且尽量找到让学生表现的机会，并及时对其成绩加以肯定，使其在享受“成功”的快乐的同时，把胜利的喜悦化为积极进取的动力。
应该指出的是，英语口语教学的未来将会是任重而道远的。而困难与挫折是教学过程中常常会面临的问题，但其中往往会蕴含着成功与希望。关键是：老师要循循善诱，学生要持之以恒。
阅读是高中阶段英语教学的重头戏。阅读教学的目的包括两方面：一是让学生学*并掌握一定的语言知识；二是发展一定的技能和策略，培养学生用英语获取和处理信息的能力。阅读是一个语言与思维相互作用的过程。因此，教学设计的好坏对教师的教学效果和对培养学生综合运用语言的能力都会产生很大的影响。
教学设计的目的是获得解决问题的最优方法，时刻体现“以学生为本”的思想，以开发学生的学*潜能，促进学生的全面发展为最终目的。教师怎样在阅读课上既能突出阅读理解这一中心，又能达到为学生的学*服务的目的呢？下面，谈谈我的一些教学实践情况。
一、精心设计切入点，构建有趣的学*情境
导入是承上启下和温故知新的必然途径，是吸引学生注意力和激发学*兴趣的教学措施，是上好一节课的重要环节。进行导入活动时，教师要根据学生的学*情况、心理特点和阅读材料的内容，设计能激起求知欲的导入。例如，在教学SEFC Book 2 Unit 5的“The Band That Wasn’t”一课时，我们用多媒体图片配以相应的音乐进行导入。通过对这些图片的提问和描述，自然导入新课话题，导入内容与新知识联系紧密。这样学生就会有阅读的兴趣。
二、抓住重点，构建积极探究的学*情境
一篇文章是一个思想连贯的语言整体，既有完整的思想，又有完整的结构。整体呈现课文更有助于提高阅读能力。仍然以“The Band That Wasn’t”一课为例，导入新课后，我们给出导读性理解题。如：
（1）Which two musical bands are mentioned in the passage？
（2）When did “The Monkees ” break up and when did it reunite？
（3）Why was “The Monkees ” successful in the end?让学生速读全文。理解大意后，我们从语篇结构入手，梳理文章，然后依据其线索，设计内容连贯、主体结构突出的理解题。在阅读理解的过程中，不同层次的阅读测试练*题满足了不同程度学生的需要，极大地调动了全体学生的积极主动性。
三、掌握时机，处理好语言点
生词是阅读中的障碍。有些生词适宜在导入时呈现；有些适宜在阅读后查阅词典；有些可以在阅读中让学生猜测词义。如，本文里的“bread up”一词，我们在阅读中给学生呈现几个相关含义的句子，让学生在观察语言现象的基础后归纳，然后做适量练*加以巩固。
四、展示亮点，构建合作的学*情境
学生已熟悉了语言材料，积累了语言知识。我们不妨就本课相关内容展开讨论。讨论就是交流，它能增进师生之间的了解，有利于及时发现学*中存在的问题，培养学生配合、协作的意识，使学生进行发散性和创造性的思维活动。讨论是对阅读材料学*的延伸，是一种有意义的信息输出过程，是阅读教学环节中的一个重点。在讨论活动设计中，我们要善于挖掘教材中丰富的文化信息和思想内容，所提出的问题不仅可以涉及所学课文的一般事实，同时也肩负起思想教育的功能。如，本文我们设计了这样的讨论题“Do you think Listening to music is good when you are studying？”和“Why or why not？”我们鼓励学生发表自己的见解，为学生创设自由、宽松的讨论氛围，让每个小组组织自己的语言，然后让各组代表发表自己的看法，充分调动学生的参与、合作意识，培养学生的创造性，使其将所学的语言知识转化为语言交际能力。课后让学生把讨论的内容写成书面表达，为本节课画上一个圆满的句号。
总之，在整个阅读教学过程中，始终突出“导演”与“演员”的位置关系。使学生的知识与能力得到和谐、统一的发展，达到提高学生综合运用语言能力的最终目的。
一、激发学生阅读的兴趣
一个人的阅读能力的高低，取决于他知识的积累，阅读的速度，还取决于他阅读中的再创造，以及由此产生的创新意识，而这一切都与阅读量有直接的关系。知识是兴趣产生的基础条件，因而要培养某种兴趣，就应有某种知识的积累。学生的阅读水*的培养是一个循序渐进的过程，因而给予学生从易到难的阅读材料并进行有指导的阅读训练是非常有必要的，学生会在这一过程中体会到成功的喜悦，找到成就感，尤其对于那些英语基础相对比较差的学生来说将会改变他对英语学*的态度。另外作为教授非母语的英语课程的教师，要想引发学生的兴趣，让学生更多了解这一种语言，或者通过这一种语言了解更多知识，还必须教授音标、单词、语法等等在内的英语学*基础。
二、教给学生阅读的方法
现代教育更重视培养学生的自我发展能力，这就要求教师不仅要教学生“学会”，而且还要教学生“会学”。要用各种方法教会学生“怎样学”，使学生具备学*和运用英语的能力。在阅读过程中根据不同的阅读目的和要求，采取不同的阅读方式和策略，遵循由浅入深，由表及里，由具体到概括的顺序要求阅读。常见的阅读方式有：
1、略读
通过整体粗读，领略内容大意，帮助理解，为细读作准备。寻找主题句，获取大意，找出每段的主题。
2、跳读
寻找所需信息，如年代、数字、人名、地名等把握住关键词，利用语法过渡词，语气转折词及时态等，抓住文章脉络。
3、细读
分段细读，注意细节，注意语言结构，处理语言点，抓住主要事实，关键信息，揭示文章结构的内在联系，帮助深化理解。一篇文章是一个有机的整体，段落与段落之间存在着内在的紧密联系，而每段的内容都与主题有着很重要的联系，所以弄清文章结构上的问题，对于把握文章主题、文章大意非常重要。
4、推读
推测未直接写明的含义、因果关系以及词义猜测，对学生在自学过程中遇到的新的单词、表达法或语法。引导学生学会根据上下文进行猜测，这样既提高了阅读速度又形成了一种能力，这也是英语阅读的关键所在。
5、概读：要求学生从每篇标题，到各个部分都进行概读、以归纳出要点，概括作者的主旨、意图、观点、态度，这样就能了解全文的概貌。概读还有助于学生把握上下文之间的意义联系，培养学生的综合概括能力。
三、培养良好的阅读*惯
阅读是一个认知的过程，不同的人有不同的阅读方式。有的学生喜欢逐字逐句地指读，也有的一目十行地读，也有的反复阅读。这些阅读方式都是影响学生阅读效果与水*提高的原因，因此在教学中应培养好的阅读*惯。按意群阅读。英语教学由于受应试教育的影响，一直遵循传统的语法教学这样做不仅影响了学生的听说能力，而且也影响了他们的阅读水*。因此，我必须教会学生能按意群阅读，来改变往日逐字逐句地读，指读，心读。这样即便是很复杂的长句也可以两三眼看到头，很快理解文章的内容。根据上下文猜词义。由于受到传统的教法影响和**读教学的制约，学生经常在阅读时遇到生词就查字典，这样即延误阅读速度，也打扰阅读思路，所以教师应该尽量鼓励学生去猜生词，根据上下文辨别词义，根据词性辨别词义，根据语法猜词义。懂语法，构词法的知识，在阅读时猜词能力就会大大增加。
四、拓展学生的阅读空间
高中教材中所选的文章都是精品，涉及范围广、内容丰富，也极易唤起学生的兴趣。但是阅读能力的培养是一个长期的积累过程，它不能局限于仅有的课堂教学和一本教材里面。因此，要拓宽学生的阅读内容。教师可以结合教学实际，采取一些积极的措施：一每周为学生选取几篇难度适中的文章，要注意知识性和趣味性相结合，然后打印出来，安排学生进行课外阅读，作相关的阅读题。二可以开设英语作品选修班，教师要精心选择阅读材料，从新出报刊杂志选取阅读材料，拓宽学生的视野。
五、加强跨文化意识的培养
语言知识和语言技能是语言运用能力的基础，而跨文化意识是得体运用语言的保证，因此英语阅读教学应将重心移到运用语言能力的培养，促进学生的全面发展和人文教育。在教学实践的读前导入过程中，教师可以提供丰富的背景资料拓展学生视野，补充文化常识，激发阅读兴趣。读后可以引导学生进行深入的讨论与思考，探讨文章中所体现的异国文化、风土人情、宗教传统和生活方式以及在情感表达与思考、行为方式方面与中国人的差异。通过学*英语了解世界文化，培养世界意识;通过中外文化对比，加深对中国文化的理解。而具备了一定的跨文化意识，反过来也会促进对英语文章深层次的理解，提高阅读的质量和水*。
总之，高中英语阅读教学作为英语教学中的重中之重，我们教师要结合教学实际，积极探索，整合设计出一套适宜的教学方法，激发学生兴趣，从而提高英语阅读教学的实效性。
一、语音室的合理利用
为了更好地充分使用现代化教育技术以促进教学活动的开展，我系的四间语音室引进北京东方正龙公司开发的语言学*系统、教学资源库，丰富了教学内容。利用现代化教育手段，如电脑、录像、课件等，充分调动学生的积极性。在语音室里，除了可以进行日常教学以外，学生还可以利用系统中的资源进行自主学*。
二、积极开展日常英语口语课外活动。
开展课外的口语活动，是培养日常英语口语能力的重要手段。在教学教程中，我们强调学生能用英语做事情，在做的过程中发展语言能力、思维能力以及交流与合作的能力，要通过创设良好的语言环境和提供大量的语言实践机会，使学生通过自己的体验、感知、实践、参与和交流形成语感。突出“小课堂，大英语”，通过真实的丰富多彩的日常英语课外活动，延伸课堂教学，如朗诵会、演讲比赛、生活Party、英语角等等。
三、网络资源的利用
我系购买了《雅信达英语学*的*台》，通过该资源库里的初级阶段的英语语音，初级口语，英语演讲与口才;中级阶段的中级口语，英语口语见*，英语视听说;高级阶段的高级口语等课程构建多元化的、多层次的英语口语课程体系，满足不同层次、不同要求的学*者愿望，为实现本课程教学目标提供了坚实的课程教学保障。
该资源库还提供大量的英语口语教学素材，如《走遍美国》，《洋话连篇》等视频音频资料。这个学*资源库的建立，为学生的自主学*提供了良好的网络教学环境。使英语学*延伸到学生的专业学*和课余生活，发展了学生的自主学*和创新能力。
四、多媒体课件的制作
在建立英语学*资源库的基础上，我们还制作了英语口语教学课件以及实践教学的资料，让学生通过各种输入与输出的学*活动，多角度、多形式地进行巩固练*，不断加深对所学*知识和技能的掌握与提高。采用了比较科学的框架机构，便于讲课中对内容的重新组合，为教师教学的个性化发挥提供了基础。我们本着以人为本的宗旨，网络课件设计充分体现和满足学生的学*需求，难易程度适中，以便增强学生的自信心其互动性强，充分发挥和培养学生的自主学*能力。
五、采用影视教学
影视教学的优点是，形声结合，生动直观，能把静止不动的单一事物或过程转化为活生生的连续过程。例如，授课老师在讲授“进出口商品交易会”这一主题内容的时候，就可以通过播放一些相关的影视资料，给学生一种身临其境的感觉，为学生提供了丰富的感性材料和广阔的视野，这样，学生在课堂上既可以学*地道的英语口语，又感受到了生动的西方文化，培养了英语学*的兴趣和热情。
六、形成性评价在口语教学中的应用
开展英语教学形成性评价是英语教学改革的有效手段。老师通过各种渠道，收集和分析学生日常学*的信息，了解学生的潜力发展。英语口语教学评价注重对学生英语学*过程进行持续的评价。对学生日常学*过程中的表现、取得的成绩以及所反映出来的情感、态度、学*策略等方面的情况进行评价。这样有利于减轻学生心理负担，提高学生的学*兴趣。
