I salute the rank瞐nd瞗ile members of the ANC: You have sacrificed life and limb in the pursuit of the noble cause of our , like Solomon Mahlangu and Ashley Kriel, who have paid the ultimate price for the freedom of all South Africans. I salute the South African Communist Party for its sterling contribution to the struggle for democracy. You have survived 40 years of unrelenting persecution.
The memory of great communists like Moses Kotane, Yusuf Dadoo, Bram Fischer, and Moses Mabhida will be cherished for generations to come. I salute General Secretary Joe Slovo, one of our finest patriots. We are heartened by the fact that the alliance between ourselves and the Party remains as strong as it — it always , the National Education Crisis Commi*, the South African Youth Congress, the Transvl and Natal Indian Congresses, and COSATU and the many other formations of the Mass Democratic Movement. Around us , there are plants, animals and many other things. We live in nature, so to keep the balance of nature is very important for us. But today, too many trees are still being cut down in many countries and flood all over the world are getting more and more serious, A lot of land has gone with them. This is a lesson from nature.
When people move into a new place, they often cut down trees or pull out many wild plants to make farmland. They don’t know that trees can stop flood and wind from washing or blowing the earth away, and that many of these wild plants are food for some wild animals. If the animals can’t find enough plants to eat, they will die or have to leave the place.
In one part of the United States, for example, the deer there like to eat a kind of wild flowers. The mountain tigers there eat the deer. But people killed many mountain tigers to protect the deer. soon there were so many deer that the ate up all the wild flowers. Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees .so the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.
The number of trees, deer, tigers, wild flowers and plants has changed much—less and less. We need to do more to keep the balance of nature.

When we are appreciating the passionate melody of Gloria Estefan, we could hardly imagine that she could return to the stage after her paralysis. In the year 1990, this Cuban singer was knocked down in a traffic accident, and the doctor declared that she might never walk again. But Gloria did not give up and kept up constant exercising. Just one year after the disaster, she stood up again and presented this encouraging song at the Atlanta Olympics.
Whenever I think of Gloria, I can’t help recalling my memory seven years ago, when I first entered university. Naturally shy, ordinary looking, average scores in study, just like an ugly duckling, I seemed to be the least outstanding one in my class. And the successive failures in the beginning led me into despair. “Am I destined to take the back seat to others?” Unwilling to submit to the fate, I paid more efforts on my study as well as many other activities, film dubbing, recital, drama… cause I just want to catch every little opportunity to prove myself. Constant effort yields sure success. Thanks to the competition, I received some awards and most of all, I gained the courage and confidence to face any difficulties in my life journey.
Life is just like farming, and what you can reap depends a lot on your sowing and dedication. Once you have a dream, don’t be hesitant. Your next difficult step may be the one to the top. Keep going forward, even in the toughest time, and never give up.

it’s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected. not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.
frankly speaking, i don’t quite agree with them.indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions. (examples).but why can’t we absorb the meaningful western holidays and culture.
there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china. on the one hand, some of the western holidays which we chinese don’t have are reasonable and meaningful, such as father’s day and april fool’s day etc. on the other hand,the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china. overwhelmed by such a trend,chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture.

一、班级整体情况
在优秀班主任xxx的带领下，我们班比较优秀(进步较大)，上个学期期末我们英语学科是兰溪市统一测试的，我们取得了优异的成绩，但也有小部分学生明显落后与别人，主要表现在上课注意力不集中，不喜欢张口读书，动作偏慢，家庭作业没有按时上交或干脆不交等现象，久而久之，他的各种表现就落后了，不管是考试成绩，口语交流，还是书写。就不如其他学生。
二、英语学科的特点
本学期我们用的是PEP英语教材的升级版，它比原来的旧教版有了更高的要求，在学生听、说、读、写的基础上，强调语言的运用，注重能力的培养，培养学生自主学*的能力和独立运用所学语言去做事的能力。但教学内容紧密联系小学生的生活和学*实际，选择话题充分考虑到小学生的需求，涉及学校、家庭、饮食、玩具、动物、颜色、数字等。本学期还增加了机器人(Robin)角色，更富有童趣。因此，英语学科的学*本身趣味性比较强，成绩好的同学会越学越有趣，小部分同学基础没打好，兴趣也就减弱了，毕竟学*的过程是从易到难的。低段简单的没学会，到高段难的知识点学起来就感觉累了。英语课程每个单元的课型也比较清晰的，每单元有AB两部分重点内容，每部分有三中课型;单词教学，对话教学和阅读教学;还有C部分，也就是故事教学是选学内容，我们一般不作课堂授课，作为有兴趣的同学自己自学内容。
三、如何在家监督孩子的英语学*
1。关注家庭作业
每周有三节英语课，这三天里我都会布置家庭作业，并且我对家庭作业有具体的要求：若当天是新授单词课，那晚上的作业肯定是默写单词;若是对话课，那晚上的作业肯定是默写重点句，对预*作业的要求是：听录音，若预*单词，要在家校联系本上抄写单词，我没有规定抄写几遍，目的是培养学生主动学*的*惯，而不是每天机械地完成老师布置的作业。若对话课或阅读课，要求翻译汉语的意思，写在家校联系本上。第二天由四人小组长检查，发现很多孩子是来学校补的，可见听力作业也不会完成。所以，从今天以后，家长可以根据这几个要求去关自己孩子完成作业的情况，当然这之前也有做得很好的家长，不但关注孩子的学*还天天在家校联系本上签名。虽然我没有强制性要求学生每天让家长签名，目的是杜绝孩子造假，高段了有的孩子很聪明，自己签个名，每天签名的家长我是记忆很深刻的，你的孩子也很优秀，我也很感谢您对英语学科的支持和关注。
2。关注单元测试测试卷签名。其实测试卷上家长签名，是一个外在的形式，我的目的是，让家长知道孩子一个阶段的学*成果，看孩子的试卷，不光看分数的高低，更要关注孩子错误的原因，是因为粗心，还是因为本身就不会。一次考试，不仅仅只是分数上的收获，更是一种学*方法上的收获。也是鼓励和鞭策孩子，让孩子有学*的成就感，每次测试后我都以不同的方式给予学生奖励，有，优秀奖，进步奖，鼓励奖。考虑到有的学生存在报喜不报忧的情况，每次试卷下发后，我都会以短信的方式，通知给家长。
四、几点希望
1。家长要转变观念，要把语文，数学，英语放在同等位置。经常可以听到家长的议论，小学英语没关系，初中会重学的，其实这是一种错误的观念。初中七年级是有三个模块式复*内容的，但后面的内容跨度还是很大的，明年的中考英语难度系数又增加了，取消了选择题的题型，9月2日高考制度出台，高三考试分为英语、语文、数学，各科总分是150分。所以养成良好的学**惯要从小学开始，孩子的学*必须家校合作，因为时代在进步，再也不要和你那时自己的学*比较。希望家长再家多费点心，多关注自己孩子的英语学*情况。
2。多关注孩子的学*动态，别过早的放弃孩子对英语的学*，要意识到小学的知识相对来说是比较简单的，更多的是要让孩子有学英语的动力，多鼓励，不要一味的责骂，多和孩子交流，沟通。
3。让我们常联系，我一个人任教六个班的英语课，*时你的孩子出现什么问题我一般和班主任交流比较多，真的感到抱歉，所以家长朋友们您们若有什么问题，你可以写在家校联系本上，或打电话(------537934)，我会尽我所能帮助您的孩子。最后让我们共同努力，让孩子在英语学科上取得好成绩，养成好*惯，为今后的学*打下扎实的基础。我就聊这么多，有不当之处，望家长朋友们批评指正。我办公室就在隔壁，若有事我们也可以单独交流。

With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. I am grateful for the opportunity to deliver my speech here after 7-days’ preparation with my friend Jinly. Thanks to Jinly’s strong support in our work. I think it is my way of saying thank you to you that giving an excellent presentation to all my friends here.
The subject of our presentation is “YOUR DREAM & YOUR GOAL”. During the next 10 minutes, we’ll give you a brief explanation of these stuff at the best of our knowledge.
First of all, I’d like to spent 3 or 5 minutes on discussing about the dream. When we were 5, they asked us what we want to be when we grow up. We answered like superman, princess, or in my case, a sailor moon. When we were 10, again they asked and the answer was policemen, doctors and some other high-principled jobs. But unfortunately, we finally found our dreams unrealistic as we entered a not-so-good high school, did not-so-good school works and went to a not-so-good direction in our life. I guess, many of you have thought about changing your dreams, but finally felt at a loss again. Yep! We’re *s and they are waiting for a serious answer. Well, how about this? WHO THE HELL KNOWS! Dream is only a dream. It’s unnecessary for us to think over our dreams all day long. You know, dreams always change, and this is not the time to make difficult decisions. But what do dreams do? Why do we still have an urgent need of dreams?
Think about it: do you have had a time when you were full of happiness just because you have made an achievement that pushes you a bit to your dream? Do you have had a time when you insist on what you were doing even the tears keep falling from your eyes? That is the power from dreams! May I equate the faith and the dream here? As we all know, aims and dreams are far from each other to some extent but close to each other on the other hand. Just like the parabola and the number line in mathematics. But it is the dream that help us to map out our aim and work out plans one after another in our life. Just like what Howard Schultz, the founder of the Starbuck said, Dreams are like the stars----we never reach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them. And I believe that if you have a dream and make efforts step by step, some of you may extremely finish the quantitative change on the way to success and reach the qualitative change!
I would like to finish my part by a tongue twister: Whether the weather be fine or whether the weather be not. Whether the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot. We'll weather the weather whether we like it or not. Whatever you dreams are and however difficult it is to realize them. Reach your aim step by step and I believe your dreams will extremely come into truth!

I enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation(准备). But life in the university is not as satisfactory(满意) as what I had expected. I become lazy and don't want to study.I become silcent. I become puzzled. I don't know what I can do in the future. Then I become unhappy.
Four years in the university is only a short period when compared my whole lifetime. Now it has passed a half. In this year, many people ,such as my parents,my friends, ask me what I want to do and tell me to map out a plan for my life. I don't want to follow their suggestion, and I want to go my style. So I think carefully. I have been a young volunteer(志愿者) for five years.It's very happy and significant. Then I have a dream.I want to join the University Student Volunteers Go West Programe. I think I can be a teacher in the west.I want to try my best to help them and help me. I want to see the world cearly. Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.
I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,Im an athlete,Im so proud of that all the time .
When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete.The training was really hard ,I couldnt bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that god only help those who help themselves.During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice.But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didnt want to stop my sports career anyway.

Besides that, my dream school looks like a big garden. there are many kinds of flowers around the modern buildings. sweet perfumes are diffused all around. if i want to have a rest, i can lie on the grass, listen to music by the lake or look out at the flowers from the classroom windows.
The teachers here are kind and helpful. they are not only our teachers but also our good friends. the students are polite and friendly. we all know how to keep our school clean and tidy. there is no litter around the campus.
I love my dream school. we will grow up to be happier there.

As we all know, English is an international language. I am 14 years old now and I’ve learnt English for 9 years. It has become a part of my life. I think English is not only important but also very useful to me.

As food is to the body, so is learning to the mind. Our bodies grow and muscles develop with the intake of adequate nutritious food. Likewise, we should keep learning day by day to maintain our keen mental power and expand our intellectual capacity.
Constant learning supplies us with inexhaustible fuel for driving us to sharpen our power of reasoning, ***ysis, and judgment. Learning incessantly is the surest way to keep pace with the times in the information age, and an infallible warrant of success in times of uncertainty.
