Hello, everyone. It’s nice to share stories of my growing pains with you. Growing up is not always enjoyable. As the old saying goes "No pains, no gains", my pains provided me with an opportunity for better personal growth.
Once I took part in a birthday party of my classmate. It was really such a great time that I went home with a pretty happy look. In the evening, I wrote some memories of this evening in my diary. But my mother peeked at my diary, which I never ever had expected. I felt so sad that I couldn’t help arguing with her. I even shouted at her, "How can you look at my dairy!"
Then a cold war happened between us and lasted for almost a week. I finally apologized to her for my arguing, and my mother also promised not to peek at my diary any more. Luckily, my mother and I learned to understand each other from then on. Thanks very much for your attention.
Today the topic of my impromtu speech is that when it is dark enough, you can see the stars. I can’t agree with this saying more. In my opinion, Darkness is about the frustrations. “enough” is about the effort and the “stars” are the hopes, dreams or success. So this saying teaches me three things, making my objective and direction clear, being prepared for wrestling with frustrations and difficulties and importantly, keeping in faith. So, I have three points to support my opinion.
First, we should make our objective and direction clear before we set out. We can’t see the stars during the day time. Is it because that there are no stars here? Of cause not. The stars are over there in the sky all the time. We can’t see them because they are hidden behind the sunlignt. So, we shouldnot waste our time. Rather, we should turn to the night to find our stars. So before we set out for our dreams. It’s very important to know what exactly we want and which direction to go to find it.
Second, we should be prepared for wresting with frustrations and difficulties. We can’t expect that the way to our objective are smooth and easy. In the darkness, we may feel cold, lonely and be afraid of some unexpected frustrations, just as on the way to our dreams and success. But, only in darkness could we see the stars. Similarly, only by experiencing harships and setbacks can we be clear about our goals and objectives. So, we should be not afraid of the difficulties we have to experience. Rather, we should hold a positive attitude to fully prepared for them.
The last but not the least point is that we should keep in faith and don’t give up. Sometime we may feel disappointed after having been working hard for such a long time but still can’t reach our dreams. But, we shouldn’t give up and instead we should just keep in faith. May be our efforts are not enough. We need to work hard and keep waiting for a little bit longer, and we will see the hope soon.
To conclude, if we choose the stars, we should be aware that we choose the darkness, too. if we want to enjoy the stars, make every efforts we can to defeat our fear to the darkness and keep in faith on ourselves. In the end, we will surly see our own stars.

对于单词，我们就应该多记多背，单词需要每天记忆，而且需要重复记忆，如果你当天记住了这个单词，但你却不愿意一直复*，总会有一天忘记。我们除了学*新单词，更要复*已经学过的单词，现在我们需要学*的单词比较少，那我们就应该把他们完全掌握。比如我们每天学*十个单词，两天后我们就必须要再次温*我们学过的单词，如果这样感觉记忆非常累，那么我们可以通过阅读英语文章来加强单词记忆，并且每天坚持，只要我们每天都按时学*，掌握更多的单词我们的基础就能够打牢固，这样就方便了接下来的学*。

Everybody has his dream job. I also have my dream job. My dream is to work for foreign tourists as a tour guide.
Why do I want to be a tour guide? First of all, I'm an outgoing girl, and I like doing some exciting things. Maybe being a tour guide is the best choice. honorable judges and dear friends, my name is maer dongyan, i’m very happy today to stand here to share my speech, my imagination, and my story as an air traffic controller with all of you. i, as a 35-year-old air traffic controller, have been working on the tower for nearly ten years. through these years’ working, i really come to love this job. besides, as the husband of my beloved, the father of my 8-year-old daughter, and the son of my old parents, i also love my family, a happy family. however, it has been really hard to coordinate my work and my family.

as a man who owns a family, i also have to take care of my family. still, it isn’t that easy. since i took the job 10 years ago, i haven’t.had enough time to be with my family. so many festivals have i spend with microphones, but not my family and friends, just because my job needs me. so many times have my wifecomplained about my returning home late and having meals outside often, just because my job needs me. and so many times, my mom or dad is sick in bed, but i cannot be there with them in time, just because my job needs me. i cannot fully devote myself to my family because my job needs me, a lot of people need me. and again, as a man with a family, how can that be easy?
even though i’m not competent as a father, a husband, and a son, i still love my family. my daughter once said that it was her happiest time to see me back from work. and it’s the same with me. i’m pleased and grateful to see that my family can support and understand my work and my little devotion to them. i have made many sacrifices as an air traffic controller. i really feel sorry for my family. but as i help pilots find their destinations under terrible weather conditions, and then hear “;thanks ”; from them, i’m satisfied. and as i see planes taking off and landing safely, and make sure that hundreds more families can get together, i’m comforted. i even seem to be able to see the happy smiles on their faces. such is my job, though i cannot enjoy much of the happiness my family brings to me, i can experience the sense of responsibility through my work. i’ll never regret this, regret choosing my job. it is through these years that i know what responsibility and devotion really mean. and it is through these years that i realize what family really means to me---supporting and understanding. i really appreciate them.

i have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. they are older than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! how do they do that!? my grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! i guess that is why they can remain healthy. more importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. my grandmother once told me this:” i do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house”. i want to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.
since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday i make the same wish. i wish my parents will not fight anymore. i am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! i am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. they do! they love me with all their heart. i love my parents also; i want them to live a happy life as well.
i want to travel this great country of ours. i want to see the beauty of our country. i want to see the miracles that made this country great! i want to go from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! i have a dream, that one day i can travel and see my country with my family and friends! if that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also. if i can fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then god can take me away. i would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.

那么，如何度过这宝贵的'青春时光呢？答案是：让青春伴随责任，让理想带走我们。
我们为拥有青春而自豪，但我们难道不应该思考一下，我们应该为这个燃烧的青春承担什么责任吗？需要注意的是，我们是祖国的未来。我们的任务是接受新世纪的挑战，贡献我们的青春。勇于承担责任，从小事做起。比如我们作为一个合格的中学生，有没有尽到自己的责任，有没有按时完成作业？我们认真听课了吗？我们是否尊敬老师，热爱学校？

I’m so proud of being one of the best players in the world. but could you believe i had been a lazy girl when i was in junior high. i’m not kidding! at that time, running was my last favorite. i really don’t know how to describe the first time i was on the track. it was horrible. when i started to run, i was sim*** out of breath. and while i touched the finishing line, i really didn’t know if i was still alive. it’s so funny, huh? but it’s true, i did.
Well, something happened and changed the situation. we won the right of holding the olympic games in 2015. after that, sports became a kind of game in campus. and there are many sports clubs in school. one day someone asked me:“are you gonna try one of those?”first i felt so wired.
“Try to get into sports clubs? are you kidding?” i said. and she goes: “why not? it’s not hard at all, and so fascinating!” so i did tried one and i was so lucky to become one of those who did orienteering. that is a fantastic sport! you need to run and find where to go just by using a map and a compass. it’s wasn’t popular in china at first. but when we heard it might become a new event in 2015, we did practiced hard, and aimed to win the first champion of orienteering in the world. when we practiced, there were a lot of troubles. you know, sometimes you need to go with your feet, but sometimes you need to go with your heart. in some situations, we faced the difficulties and problems. and we need to solve that through teamwork and strong willpower. so we can run faster, go higher and be stronger. that is what we sayolympic spirit.
Now the dream came true. i’m standing here with all my body and my heart put in sports. so do the people from all over the world to here at the olympic games. it’s the olympic games that make us together. we are here for a big day of sport; we are here for a dream of sports. we are here for a spirit of sport that encourages us to face the difficulties of today and tomorrow.
