Hello, everyone. It’s nice to share stories of my growing pains with you. Growing up is not always enjoyable. As the old saying goes "No pains, no gains", my pains provided me with an opportunity for better personal growth.
Once I took part in a birthday party of my classmate. It was really such a great time that I went home with a pretty happy look. In the evening, I wrote some memories of this evening in my diary. But my mother peeked at my diary, which I never ever had expected. I felt so sad that I couldn’t help arguing with her. I even shouted at her, "How can you look at my dairy!"
Then a cold war happened between us and lasted for almost a week. I finally apologized to her for my arguing, and my mother also promised not to peek at my diary any more. Luckily, my mother and I learned to understand each other from then on. Thanks very much for your attention.
Today the topic of my impromtu speech is that when it is dark enough, you can see the stars. I can’t agree with this saying more. In my opinion, Darkness is about the frustrations. “enough” is about the effort and the “stars” are the hopes, dreams or success. So this saying teaches me three things, making my objective and direction clear, being prepared for wrestling with frustrations and difficulties and importantly, keeping in faith. So, I have three points to support my opinion.
First, we should make our objective and direction clear before we set out. We can’t see the stars during the day time. Is it because that there are no stars here? Of cause not. The stars are over there in the sky all the time. We can’t see them because they are hidden behind the sunlignt. So, we shouldnot waste our time. Rather, we should turn to the night to find our stars. So before we set out for our dreams. It’s very important to know what exactly we want and which direction to go to find it.
Second, we should be prepared for wresting with frustrations and difficulties. We can’t expect that the way to our objective are smooth and easy. In the darkness, we may feel cold, lonely and be afraid of some unexpected frustrations, just as on the way to our dreams and success. But, only in darkness could we see the stars. Similarly, only by experiencing harships and setbacks can we be clear about our goals and objectives. So, we should be not afraid of the difficulties we have to experience. Rather, we should hold a positive attitude to fully prepared for them.
The last but not the least point is that we should keep in faith and don’t give up. Sometime we may feel disappointed after having been working hard for such a long time but still can’t reach our dreams. But, we shouldn’t give up and instead we should just keep in faith. May be our efforts are not enough. We need to work hard and keep waiting for a little bit longer, and we will see the hope soon.
To conclude, if we choose the stars, we should be aware that we choose the darkness, too. if we want to enjoy the stars, make every efforts we can to defeat our fear to the darkness and keep in faith on ourselves. In the end, we will surly see our own stars.

Today the topic of my impromtu speech is that home is where the heart is. Home is the harbor of both our body and mind. Home is the never ever changed inner sustenance. Many people may say that where there is home, there is heart, but I want to say that where there is heart, there is home. Concerning this saying, I have three points to back me up.

my childhood was one of a lot of hard work and not much money, but it was one of solid family affection, as represented by my parents. i was reared in a religious atmosphere in the baptist faith, and i have been a member of the antioch baptist church in tulsa, oklahoma, since1983. it is a very warm part of my life at the present time.
for my undergraduate work, i went to oklahoma state university and graduated from there in1977. i am attaching to this statement a copy of my resume for further details of my education.
i graduated from the university with academic honors and proceeded to the yale law school, where i received my jd degree in1980. upon graduation from law school, i became a practicing lawyer with the washington, dc, firm of ward, hardraker, and ross.
in1981, i was introduced to now judge thomas by a mutual friend. judge thomas told me that he was anticipating a political appointment, and he asked if i would be interested in working with him. he was, in fact, appointed as assistant secretary of education for civil rights. after he had taken that post, he asked if i would become his assistant, and i accepted that position.
in my early period there, i had two major projects. the first was an article i wrote for judge thomas" signature on the education of minority students. the second was the organization of a seminar on high-risk students which was abandoned because judge thomas transferred to the eeoc where he became the chairman of that office.
during this period at the department of education, my working relationship with judge thomas was positive. i had a good deal of responsibility and independence. i thought he respected my work and that he trusted my judgment. after approximately three months of working there, he asked me to go out socially with him.
what happened next and telling the world about it are the two most difficult things -- experiences of my life. it is only after a great deal of agonizing consideration and sleepless number -- a great number of sleepless nights that i am able to talk of these unpleasant * to anyone but my close friends.
i declined the invitation to go out socially with him and explained to him that i thought it would jeopardize what at the time i considered to be a very good working relationship. i had a normal social life with other men outside of the office. i believed then, as now, that having a social relationship with a person who was supervising my work would be ill-advised. i was very uncomfortable with the idea and told him so.
i thought that by saying no and explaining my reasons my employer would abandon his social suggestions. however, to my regret, in the following few weeks, he continued to ask me out on several occasions. he pressed me to justify my reasons for saying no to him. these incidents took place in his office or mine. they were in the form of private conversations which would not have been overheard by anyone else.
my working relationship became even more strained when judge thomas began to use work situations to discuss sex. on these occasions, he would call me into his office for reports on education issues and projects, or he might suggest that, because of the time pressures of his schedule, we go to lunch to a government cafeteria. after a brief discussion of work, he would turn the conversation to a discussion of sexual *.
his conversations were very vivid. he spoke about acts that he had seen in *ographic films involving such * as women having sex with animals and films showing group sex or rape scenes. he talked about *ographic materials depicting individuals with large penises or large breasts involved in various sex acts. on several occasions, thomas told me graphically of his own sexual prowess.
because i was extremely uncomfortable talking about sex with him at all and particularly in such a graphic way, i told him that i did not want to talk about these subjects. i would also try to change the subject to education * or to nonsexual personal * such as his background or his beliefs. my efforts to change the subject were rarely successful.
throughout the period of these conversations, he also from time to time asked me for social engagements. my reaction to these conversations was to avoid them by eliminating opportunities for us to engage in extended conversations. this was difficult because at the time i was his only assistant at the office of education -- or of fice for civil rights.
during the latter part of my time at the department of education, the social pressures and any conversation of his offensive behavior ended. i began both to believe and hope that our working relationship could be a proper, cordial, and professional one.

大家上午好！
今天我演讲的题目是《文明校园从我做起》。
从小学开始，老师就告诉我们要讲文明。那个时候的我们都不太能够懂得文明的含义，但总是会听老师的话。我们长大之后，渐渐懂得了文明的含义。但是，我想问同学们，我们真的做到讲文明了吗？我们又真的知道了文明的含义了吗？
每天早上，我们来到校园的时候，到处都很干净整洁，但到了下午放学的时候，就是一片狼藉，遍地都是垃圾。我想，我们应该听过了很多遍，不要到处乱丢垃圾这句话，但是为什么，我们的校园还是会脏兮兮的呢？讲文明，首先就是要保持教室和学校的卫生，不乱丢垃圾，这是最基本的一步。当新课桌第一次跟我们见面的时候，是崭新的，但一个学期之后，很多同学的桌子都布满了划痕。这就是我们没有爱惜公共财产的表现。
讲文明是我们中华文化的传统美德，我们作为中华民族的一份子，就要自觉学*和传承这一个美德，我们初中生应该自觉做到讲文明。讲文明是社会对我们学生的一个要求，是一个人品德修养好的体现。我们首先要做到不乱丢垃圾，爱护我们的公共财产，不随意破坏。我们要形成一个讲文明的良好*惯，给身边的人做一个很好的榜样。我们总是在劝别人要讲文明，但是自己却没有做到讲文明。所以，如果想让身边的人都讲文明，我们自己就要以身作则，给身边的人做一个良好的榜样。
那么讲文明应该做什么呢？第一点，就是要爱护环境和公共财产，不乱丢垃圾，不随意的'划课桌，保持教室和学校的干净整洁，让我们自己有一个舒适的环境。第二点，就是要讲礼貌。见到长辈要问好，见到老师和同学要打招呼，要尊重他人。不在教室和走廊大声说话、吵闹，不说脏话。第三点，就是要学会感恩，学会说谢谢。当别人帮助你的时候，要说谢谢，要把别人的帮助都记在心里。第四点，就是要学会谦让。在遇到需要让座的人的时候，让座给他们；在遇到比我们小的人的时候，要谦让他们，要做到尊老爱幼。第五点，要学会帮助他人。在别人需要帮助的时候，不求回报的去帮忙。
我们要做到思想、语言、行为都文明，才是讲文明的学生。同学们，让我们行动起来，建立起一个文明又美丽的校园。

我非常的荣幸作为我们年级的学生代表上台演讲，我作为学生会成员，在讲文明方面我还是可以说自己做的很好的，这是作为一个学生的最基本的素质，我作为学生会成员，自然是要更加严格的遵守，我今天的演讲主题就是：“讲文明，树新风”。
不知道大家的眼中，文明为何物，其实“文明”这二字对于大家而言并不陌生，从小我们在家父母就要教导我们，无论是举止还是谈吐，都是有受到教育，现在我们在学校了，老师也是教了我们不少，甚至有时候还是言传身教的对我们进行教育，但是不乏还是有很多人，完全不往心里去，现在我们学校里也是呈现这很多不文明的现象，我就来说一些我接触到的一些不文明的现象。因为我班上的学*委员，很多的作业都是需要上交到我这来的，我的课桌永远都是非常乱的，永远都是被别人翻的很乱，未经过别人的允许，乱翻东西，这是非常不文明的现象。下课之后所有人都坐在教室里看书写作业的时候，值日生上去擦黑板了，最后把粉笔灰直接拍在黑板上，导致教室内所有的人都要吃粉笔灰，这不是恶作剧，就是非常讨人厌的不讲文明。
因为不讲文明这点并没有列入校纪校规当中去，所以很多人都不当回事，反而背道而驰，但是作为学生会的我，却是没办法进行制止，讲文明这种事只能靠自己去要求、约束自己，别人说再多都没用。文明是一种长期以往养成的*惯，是需要我们一直坚持的。
什么是讲文明？在我们遇到长辈师长的时候，主动的称呼问好，而不是视而不见，任随之擦肩而过，那么只会让老师觉得你这个学生非常的没有礼貌。在我们进入别人房间或者是教室寝室的'时候，会知道先敲门，询问对方是否可以进入，而不是大大咧咧的推门就进，这样可以避免一些尴尬的场景发生，也不至于造成别人的反感。在我们手里有垃圾的时候，应该就*寻找垃圾桶，妥善的进行垃圾分类，而不是随意的扔在地上，你扔一个我扔一个，那么学校该脏成什么样子。在我们跟同学发生争吵的时候，应该先静下来想想自己是不是存在着什么样的错误，而是不是什么都不想，就脏话连篇，这样做也会让矛盾激化，最后打起来……要想做一个讲文明的好学生其实很简单，就看你愿不愿意去做了，试想一下如果我们的学校所有师生都是讲文明的人，那么我们的学校会和谐成什么样子。
我们学校讲文明，树新风这方面还需要花费很大的力气，我们还有太多人需要改变了。希望大家都往心里去。

文明礼仪是我们作为一个中学生必备的个人素质，这样才能证明我们是接受过高等教育，家庭教育非常到位的表现，一个的是否拥有文明礼仪的素质，是可以从我们生活当中的接触，随便的一件小事就能看的出来，不知道同学们知不知道我们国家本就被誉为“礼仪之邦”，想必大家也不想这个称号，断送在我们这一代人的手里面吧。
在家我们被父母教育要讲文明、懂礼貌，在学校我们被老师教育、被校纪校规约束着，但是还有有很多人不知道什么是文明！不知道你们身边的'同学有没有动不动就用脏话问候别人父母的，有没有三天两头喜欢用暴力解决问题的，有没有随手扔垃圾的……这些都是不懂得文明礼仪为何物的人。我想不明白，那些脏话就那么的顺口吗？一个个的学的太快的，把这学*劲用在听老师上课上面，那成绩绝对是突飞猛进，我们学的语文是用来干嘛的？不就是教我们更多的文化，让我们谈吐更加的得体吗？为什么那些说脏话的同学，这点都先不明白呢；还有就是喜欢打架的那些同学，我不知道你们是不是觉得互相对骂没意思，才打架的，打架是我们作为学生最不文明的行为了，谦让、尊重、和谐共处不才是我们同学们之前的相处模式吗？这也是讲文明的重要因素；扔垃圾的现象最*在我们学校是愈演愈烈，就算是刚被打扫完卫生的环境区也马上有垃圾的侵入，根本没办法维持干净整洁的模样，这因为什现在很多的学生都完全没有这个讲文明、懂礼仪的意识；再也跟大家说一个就在*期发生的事情，上周，就发生了一件十分不符合一个初中生所需的文明素质表现，两个班级因为搞大扫除的时候，没有听清楚各自班主任所划分的范围，直接就是面红耳赤的骂了起来，是两个班不管不顾的丝毫不注意自己的身份，丝毫不注意这里是学校。你们说这样的行为是值得我们学*的吗？
让我们规范好自己的言行举止，做一个让父母欣慰，老师赞许的好学生，那么我们就需要做到以下几点：
1、在学校尊重老师，看到老师主动打招呼，不影响老师的上课纪律。对老师的态度要足够爱戴，不去质疑老师的任何决定。
2、在家我们要主动的帮家里人做家务，出门回家记得告知父母，见到有客人来访记得叫人问好。
3、出门在外，多主要场合，公交车上不打闹，图书馆内不喧哗。主动让座位，不要吝啬您的帮助，给有需要帮助的人一点温暖。

在开学后的这段时间里，我们清楚地看到我校大部分同学都能遵守纪律，进入正常的学*状态。但同时我们也感受到在校园中存在着一些不和谐的音符。比如做操时，有人急冲冲地下楼，奔向整齐的队列，有的人缓慢地集合，懒散地做着动作。课间休息时，有的同学在楼道里互相追逐，大声喧哗，在楼梯上跑跳拥挤，涮完拖把任水龙头的水肆意流淌，随手乱扔果皮纸屑等等。是什么原因使我们的同学有如此的表现呢？
原因之一是一部分同学的思想意识不到位，文明守纪的*惯未能养成。原因之二是我行我素，缺乏一种集体的团队精神。因此，我们有必要认识纪律的内涵，纪律的重要性。那什么是纪律呢？纪律是一个团体为了维护集体的.利益并保障学*的正常进行而制定的，要求每个成员必须遵守的规章制度，条文规范。
对于我们学生来说，就是我们必须遵守的《中小学生守则》《中小学生日常行为规范》还有我们学校的校规校纪，它通过我们一段时间的坚持与实施，内化成为我们自觉的*惯，长期的行为。有良好的纪律是每个学校，每个人，每件事获得成功的保障。好的纪律会给我们带来益处，不良的纪律会给我们造成严重的后果及影响。我们只有统一了认识，才能在前进的步伐中步调一致，维护好学校良好的教育教学秩序。
播下一个行动，收获一种*惯;播下一种*惯，收获一种性格;播下一种性格，收获一种命运。所以，我们从现在起要养成好的行为*惯和学**惯。然而哪些是我们小学生要养成的好*惯呢？那么如何才将校规校纪内化成为我们自觉的*惯呢？首先是思想意识要到位。在生活、学*中我们有着各种不同的*惯，当我们做某件事情时，首先要想一想，你的做法是否对集体、对他人有利，损害集体和他人利益的事我们坚决不能做。勿以恶小而为之，勿以善小而不为。
课堂上，专心听讲是对老师最大的尊重;升旗仪式上，你全神贯注、目送**冉冉升起，是对祖国最深的敬意。只要我们以《中小学生守则》《中小学生日常行为规范》，学校的校规校纪来规范自己的行为，我们就一定能成为一名合格的中小学生，我们的学校就一定能蓬勃发展、蒸蒸日上。
遵守纪律是一种尊重，遵守纪律是一种美德，遵守纪律更是一种责任。同学们，当我们获得成就和荣誉的时候，当我们取得成功和胜利的时候，你是否想过正是因为有了纪律这位严肃的朋友从早到晚伴随在我们身旁。正是因为它的魔力，我们的秩序才更加井然，我们的生活才更加自由，我们攀登的脚步才更加坚实。

或许会有同学问，文明就在身边，随处可见，我们又要怎么去遵循它呢？那我现在想问大家一个问题，你们所认为的文明是怎样的呢？我认为，文明没有具体的定义，它仿佛是一切对的象征，它囊括着礼仪，品格，生活等等。在我们的学*生活中，文明也是我们常常能够见到的，比如说见到老师说老师好，这是礼仪的体现，也是我们文明的展示。当朋友帮助我们的时候我们会道谢并且在他有需要帮助的时候及时伸出双手，这是我们个人品格和情谊的表现，这也是文明。

作为一名中学生，除了要遵规守纪外，别忘了我们学生的职责-------勤奋学*。开学一个多月来，同学们都非常认真地学*，学*气氛相当浓厚。看到这种现象，非常令人欣慰。但还有一部分同学却令人心寒。他们不仅上课不好好听讲，作业不认真做，而且还扰乱课堂纪律，甚至有的同学还和老师顶嘴。这都是一些极其不好的现象。
俗话说，“成功之路宽又广”。如果一个人想要迈上这段成功的'道路，那么就应该学*。我们班以前的一位同学程婧，她一直以来是我学*的好榜样。她学*的时候，总是安安静静的，不吵也不闹。她勤于思考，上课回答问题总是很积极。她考试总是年级第一，但她从不骄傲。只有我们班的同学为她骄傲，为她喝彩。早读时，她一个人静静地坐在自己的位子上，以自己喜欢的方式读书。她给人感觉就是一个乖乖女。她从不迟到，从来不会说是哪次作业没有交，从来不在上课时不随便说话，从来不在下课的时候追逐打闹。还有，别人向她请教问题的时候，她总是不耐其烦，认真讲解。我觉得，做一名老师眼中，家长眼中，同学眼中的好学生，就应该像程婧这个样子。虽然，她已经转到另外一个学校去了，但她依然是我学*的好榜样，是我们大家学*的好榜样。
今天，学校开展这次“守规范，正学风”的演讲比赛，目的就是想让我们言行举止严格遵守《中学生日常行为规范》，好好学*。在此，我号召全校所有学生，携起手来，从小事做起，从良好的*惯做起，做守规范、爱学*的现代文明中学生。让文明礼仪之花，让学*的常青之树，开满校园的每个角落，为把我校建设成为一流的现代化名校而不懈努力吧!

大家好！今天我演讲的题目是《学雷锋讲文明树新风》
伴随着新学期的脚步，我们又将迎来花红柳绿的三月，每年的3月是我们广大学生学*雷锋的传统活动月。一提起雷锋，中国人可以说是家喻户晓，人人皆知。这位普通的中国士兵，在他短暂的二十二年的.人生岁月中，以*凡朴实的言行，展现出一种令人震撼的道德品质和人格魅力。几十年过去了，在雷锋精神的照耀下，一代代青少年实践着自己的人生价值。
四十多年来，雷锋精神已成为亿万中国人民不朽的精神财富，我们的国家也发生了巨大变化，也许我们已经模糊了他的样子，却从来不曾忘记雷锋的精神————助人为乐精神、钉子精神、勤俭节约精神以及全心全意为人民服务精神。 我们作为一名中学生，学雷锋、讲文明要做些什么呢？
1做一个讲文明、懂礼仪、爱护公物的中学生，
其实很简单，就是＂从自我做起，从小事做起＂，培养＂学校是我家＂的主人翁责任感，并把雷锋＂刻苦钻研，求真务实＂的精神发扬光大。
总之，尽力做好每一件小事，尽力去帮助需要我们关心、帮助的人。这就是雷锋精神、文明行为的体现。
2做一个有安全意识的中学生。本学期开始，学校将不间断地渗透以＂构建和谐校园，健康安全成才＂为主题的安全教育活动，提高全体师生安全意识，充分认识到＂校园安全无小事＂，牢固树立＂安全第一＂的思想，时刻绷紧安全这根弦，要做到牢抓不懈，警钟长鸣，让我们与*安同行，与安全结伴。

今天我**下演讲的题目是文明交通，*安出行。
我们常说想要富，先修路，交通是一个民族进步的标志，而文明交通则更能体现出一个民族的素养，也是践行社会主义核心价值观的行为体现。随着我们经济的发展，交通也在不断进步，然而发达的交通给我们带来了无尽便利的.同时，也给我们带来了许多安全事故，但是许多人却还茫然不知，因为一些人不遵守交通法律法规，交通事故频频发生，一幕幕的血案给予了我们沉痛的教训，留下的只是亲人的眼泪和无穷的悔恨。
据统计，*几年来，我国*均每天死于交通事故的就有300多人，每十个死亡的人当中就有三个是因为车祸而死的，每年死于道路交通事故的人数始终在10万这个高位上久居不下，而其中中小学生占到了2万左右。真是动荡年代怕战争，和*年代怕交通，事故中，当我们目睹一个个鲜活的生命骤然消失，当一个个健康的身体惨遭伤害，我们由衷感叹，交通事故是如此无情，人世间最宝贵的生命在交通事故面前是那样的脆弱。前事不忘后世之师，那殷红的鲜血在昭示着我们，珍爱生命，文明出行，重视交通安全。
然而，预防交通安全事故发生的特效药正是我们*时所忽视的交通法规。为此，我再次为大家点出：
1。要自觉学*和遵守交通法规，增强交通安全意识，提高自我保护能力。
2。对于自己上学的同学，在过马路时，靠右行，一要慢要二看，做到不闯红灯，不随意横过马路，主动避让机动车辆，不要在路上追逐打闹。
3。对于乘坐公共汽车的同学，在乘车站点应自觉排队，不要拥挤。乘车过程中，不能把身体任何部位伸出窗外。下车后应等汽车离开再穿越马路。
4。由家长接送的同学，要告诉家长和司机尽量不要因停车而影响同学们的出行，应该服从学校的安排，保证学校门口顺畅。
5。每天放学后不要在校门口因等人或买零食而导致交通堵塞，过马路要注意力集中，密切注视机动车的行驶情况，预防交通事故的发生。
这一切的注意事项看起来都是那么简单，但为什么做到的人就很少？同学们，重视起来吧，看看多少孩子因为失去父母而伤心流涕，多少父母又因失去孩子而悲痛欲绝，多少人因失去爱人而痛心不已，生命是美丽易碎的玻璃，要保护好，不能轻易的逝去，生命是可贵的，请大家珍爱生命，从文明交通做起。
同学们，交通事故有时是可以避免，让我们用自己的行动做出“关注安全、珍爱生命”的承诺。
最后，我祝愿三高全体教师每天都能**安安到校，高高兴兴回家。祝愿同学们在学业上盛开收获之花的同时，生活上也能开满安全之花。

余光中说，用了几千年的文化似乎还是不够用。而我们却连传承下来的文化也无法守住。中华文明在呼唤着人们的关注和保护。
中国传统的用来纪念伟大爱国诗人屈原的端午节被韩国人成功申遗，而与中华文明八竿子打不着的圣诞节情人节却在中华大地上愈演愈烈，大有*卷之势。
龙，是中华民族的.图腾，炎黄子孙被视为龙的传人，但许多知名的教授却叫嚷着要改换中华民族的图腾。
斯巴达克斯，一个奴隶，但当他砸断手链成为第一个站起来的奴隶时，他被当作是为自由而奋斗的战士，而被人们永远铭记。
然而，在中华大地上，你看到了什么?听到了什么呢?!
中华文化的呼唤，没有人听得见，因为人们正沉醉于功名利碌而数典忘祖!中华文明的无声呼唤换来的只是不屑一顾甚至于背叛离弃。
长城被肆意破坏，古建筑被钢筋水泥取代，历史被戏说，包公被恶搞成对选美大赛的冠军---辣妹垂涎三尺的恶棍。
中华文化在某个角落里无声哭泣，竭力呼唤。虽然人们在醉着，但我仍想摇醒他们
只有守住中华文明，才能从容淡泊，精彩人生，才能继续传承祖宗留下来的宝贵遗产，才能让中华民族屹立于世界不败之林。
人们，摘下你们的名利耳机，去听听中华文化的呼唤吧!

所以，学*礼仪不仅可以内强个人素质、外塑单位更能够润滑和改善人际关系。
作为具有5000年文明史的“礼仪之邦”，讲文明、用礼仪，也是弘扬民族文化、展示民族精神的重要途径。
我们身在社会中，身份、角色在不停地变化之中。我们这一刻讨厌别人，下一刻往往成了别人讨厌的对象。这些无非都是“不拘小节”的行为所致。
当我们身为游客的.时候，总是依着自己的兴致，随地吐痰、吐口香糖、踩踏草坪、在文物上乱写乱涂;当我们是市民的时候，又是对随地吐痰、乱写乱画的现象深恶痛绝。
当我们和同学相处的时候，总会埋怨同学的“不拘小节”，无论是工作上还是生活上的说话、借东西;而我们自己又往往懒得去理那些“小节”。
当我们乘坐公共汽车的时候，总是为能抢到座位而沾沾自喜，挤到、踩到别人的时候从不屑于说对不起;当我们被人挤到或踩到的时候，总是对对方不说声抱歉的话而耿耿于怀甚至拳脚相加;当我们是老人的时候，站在晃晃悠悠的车上，总是渴望能有人为站立不住的自己让个座。
随着社会的发展和进步，人们的精神需求层次和自我认知价值的越来越高，就越来越希望得到理解、受到尊重。毫无疑问，在当前的形势下，礼仪已不是个别行业、个别社会层次的需求，而是全民所需。
火车跑得快，全凭车头带。在家里，如果家长能够带好头;在学校，如果师长能够带好头;在单位，领导如果能够带好头;在窗口单位，窗口工作人员如果能够带好头……推而广之，要在全中国推广、普及文明礼仪，如果首都一千多万人民能够带好这个头;如果我们每个人都能从我做起，从现在做起……
毫不疑问，我们的文明礼仪推广和普及工作，就会更加容易。那么我们的精神文明建设，就会和物质文明建设一样，取得飞速发展。我们十三亿人民的精神面貌，必然会焕然一新，人们都会生活在友好、宽容、关爱、温馨的社会氛围中!
文明礼仪，强调的是“尊重为本”。
想让别人尊敬你，首先就得尊敬人。

大家好！
在今天的演讲之前，我想和大家分享一件我今早遇到的小事。今早来学校爬马路边天桥的楼梯时，我前面有一个老太太，身后有一群小孩子，那一群小孩子应该是幼儿园做活动老师带出来去玩的。很多人都知道，那座天桥的楼梯很窄，所以多多少少也只能走一个人，前面一个人走得慢，后面的人也只能慢慢走。
当时那个老奶奶就走得非常慢，我当时看着时间就快要到点了，心里非常着急，但是老奶奶好像没有反应过来，也不知道后面有什么人。就在这个时候，出现了比我更着急的人，就是我身后的小朋友，有一个小朋友非常的顽皮，直接从老人家的身边冲了过了，我也连接被撞了一下，老人家也差点摔倒了，还好我扶了一下，她才勉强站稳。这个事情一出，后面的老师立马赶上来去批评那个孩子，顺便慰问了老人。我没有想到的是，这个老人连忙鞠躬道歉，对我们说自己耳朵不好，腿脚不好，不知道我们在后面，所以才没有让路。说完她就站到一边，让孩子们过去。这时候我看到很多小朋友对那个老人纷纷道谢，欢笑着说谢谢奶奶。
看到这一幕，我的内心震撼了。在我们的认知里，很多老人都不是很注重礼貌的。这位老人在六七十岁的年纪依旧保持清醒的思维，注重礼貌待人，不计较年纪的高低，也不计较那所谓的`自尊。她的这一份谦卑，不仅是一份文化的传承，更是告诉我们每一个人，一个人讲礼貌不只是一时的，那是陪伴终生的事情。老奶奶原本可以不去道歉，但是她给了我们一个出乎意料的做法，这让我真的久久不能忘怀。我也在想象着自己，如果到这个年岁的时候，依旧可以对一群小朋友道歉，那真是一件很锻炼心态的事情。
文明礼貌是什么？或许大家已经能够从这个小故事当中感受到了。文明是维护这个社会治安最重要的武器，而礼貌则是给社会加温的一味真火。我们*时总是横冲直撞的，没有顾忌、没有责任，有时候也因为懒惰把文明和礼貌抛掷一旁，自顾自的去享受短暂的舒适了。作为一名初中生，我想我们应该承担起社会给我们的责任，把文明礼仪放在心里，放入社会，凭着这份激情和执着去改变我们的环境，也去提升我们各自的价值，让我们的社会、我们的校园，更加的有魅力和温暖。

在我映象当中也是有非常多的同学，还有朋友是非常讲诚信的，比如说借了别人东西，答应什么时候归还就什么时候还，答应别人的事情就绝对不会忘记，这一点是非常的`明确的，我么不能够让自己显的没有素质，有一次我的朋友借了我的篮球，我依稀的记得在还球的那一天是下着雨的，当时我也就没有多想什么，我感觉那样的天气，朋友肯定会第二天在还我球，但是朋友却非常的守时，在当天就把球还给我，重要的是那天是下着大雨的，朋友还是非常的守时，当时我就感觉这个朋友是值得深交的，因为他非常的守时，非常的讲诚信，一般答应别人的事情都能够做到，在这一点上面绝对是无疑的。
同学们我们一定不不能够忽视这方面，要对自己严格一点，我也希望能够得到周围同学的信任，现在我也是一直在积累这面好的素养，让自己保持一个好的修养，我想这些都是我们应该去养成的*惯，作为一名中学生我感觉我还是需要进一步追求升华，讲文明，讲诚信从生活的点滴做起。

While I was schooling in Australia, my friends from school and I received a n assignment one day, "To make a ten to twenty minute movie on the topic of your choice." At the time, the trend was based around the popular Matrix movie trilogy, so that became our obvious choice.
Because our schedule was very tight, and it was a first time experience, we found it all very hard work, but when we released our production at school, it was worth it. After my friends and I showed the movie, we could not get from one end of the school to the other without getting congratulated about five or six times. We, especially I, were proud. We made a school-wide sensation.
From then on, I became obsessed with how to make movies and how filming is done. I just wanted to know about everyone and everything that has something to do with movies. I would watch a movie four to five times, just to find out how one camera angle, or special effect was produced. I found everything I watched quite amazing. I sometimes admired directors and producers of these films because the techniques they use are so smart. Their cleverness inspired me to make and act in movies.
When I become little bit older, I would like to attend a movie academy in Beijing or Shanghai, then America, or England, after some training and experience, I would like to make a movie, which will most likely be an action movie, which is my favorite kind of movie to watch.. If I am lucky, I hope I would get an Oscar Award for this movie. I think that would be quite a challenge, but it’s not impossible. For now, it’s back to watching movies over and over again for me!

I could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class, we went to some other classes to sing songs for them, just like what people do in the states on Christmas Eve. It was so interesting and unforgettable. Justin was an excellent teacher, because he taught us not only how to study English well, but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others' lives. I know there was friendship and pure love in our hearts. Facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important, the real importance lay in faith, under-standing, and care. Justin is the best friend I have ever had, and I know I will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.

I’ve yet to meet anyone who thinks that this world that we live in is perfect. This is not a political statement. It’s equally true of liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans. And if you don’t think the world that we live in is perfect, the only way it gets better is if good people work to repair it. Our students, our faculty, our staff and alumni are doing that daily, and it makes me so proud.
This year, I had the privilege to meet, and be moved by, not just one but two of the nation’s preeminent poets �C the United States Youth Poet Laureate, our own Amanda Gorman, and the United States Poet Laureate, our own Tracy K. Smith. I’ve also had the chance to marvel at artists who every day breathe life into our campus with their performances and their creative work �C it’s amazing to see the talent that is represented on this campus and among our alumni, our faculty, and staff.

对于英语有不少同学烦恼，我们应该如何学好英语？其实要学好英语，并不难，只要我们每天上课认真，把该记忆的词汇都认真记住，打好底子，我们学起来就要容易很多。
我们考试的时候，听力填词或者做题都需要我们掌握词汇，听懂英语。这是一门语言，我们就应该进行练*，多说多看，如果有时间，我们可以看一些英语书籍，锻炼自己的英语学*能力，学*更多的词汇。学*不可能一蹴而就，全靠每天努力学*，我们学*英语的重点分为单词，语法，听力这三方面。
对于单词，我们就应该多记多背，单词需要每天记忆，而且需要重复记忆，如果你当天记住了这个单词，但你却不愿意一直复*，总会有一天忘记。我们除了学*新单词，更要复*已经学过的单词，现在我们需要学*的单词比较少，那我们就应该把他们完全掌握。比如我们每天学*十个单词，两天后我们就必须要再次温*我们学过的单词，如果这样感觉记忆非常累，那么我们可以通过阅读英语文章来加强单词记忆，并且每天坚持，只要我们每天都按时学*，掌握更多的单词我们的基础就能够打牢固，这样就方便了接下来的学*。
掌握了单词后，我们就应该认真学*语法，毕竟西方的说话*惯，与我们不同，而且表达的意思也有出入，我们不但要掌握各种句型，更要明白如何运用，现在有很多有关语法的书籍可以供我们参考，老师上课所讲的语法比较少，我们也可以利用时间多学一些语法，学*语法不但可以让我们掌握英语说话*惯，也能够让我们复*巩固所学的单词。对我们的帮助很大。练*语法的最好办法，就是多做题，通过不同的题型练*自己的语法熟练度，而且各种语法我们必须要背诵掌握下来，当我们记住的语法多了，*惯成自然，就不会觉得这些语法难以接受。
在英语考试中听力是锻炼我们英语沟通能力，如果我们学*了英语，却不会用英语沟通，而且别人说的英语自己也听不懂，那不是等于没学吗。我们之所以学*英语最主要的.目的就是为了更好沟通，所以想要练*自己的听力，我们不但要多听英语磁带，更要多说，要纠正自己的发音，勤学苦练中能够学到更多。每天不能忘记自己的学*任务，坚持学*。可以利用早自*时间好好练*。
其实说来说去都离不开一点，那就是勤奋，学英语要勤奋，而且要学会利用时间，毕竟英语是一门语言，我们要掌握这门语言，就必须要勤加练*，多记多背。
