众所周知，四级有4500个单词，核心单词大致在20xx左右，常考的词组700个左右。但是范围还是相当大，好多同学面对满书的单词经常不知所措、束手无策，找不到有效的门路。下面我们就来看看究竟怎么解决掉这些单词。
要想逐一击破这些单词，首先就要了解四级词汇的考查特点，只有对症下药才能够药到病除。
1.动词名词一统天下
四级考试是动词和名词的天下。在老四级的词汇与结构中，３０道题里面，动词占到15个左右，名词仅随其后，占到10个，两种词性的单词霸占了将*80％。新四级中，考查单词的重地是：深度阅读、完型填空和翻译。深度阅读15个单词中，动词名词占到10个。翻译的五道题中，可以说每道题都涉及到动词，考查的搭配也能占到半数。完型中的20道题，动词和名词也联手吃掉了70%左右。形容词虽然数量不多，但是每年都会露个脸。特点就是根据词的感情色彩来考查。
2.词组搭配
即便知道了四级考查的重点是动词名词，但是还是范围宽泛。那么现在要清楚的就是：重点看那些有搭配的动词、名词以及形容词。他们和介词的搭配是四级考试的最爱。因为那些小小介词走位飘忽，虚虚实实，难以琢磨。
3.义*形*
凡是选择题必定存在干扰项，那么干扰项从何而来？形似词和近义词。通过长相和相似但又略有不同的词义来迷惑考生。
4.一词多义一词多性
我们很熟悉的词汇往往也是考点出现的地方。因为许多词汇有多重意思，有些也有多重词性。ap***多数考生都知道是"申请"的意思，但是还有"应用于"，而且从搭配上看"申请"是ap*** for而后者是ap*** sth to sth。再比如object，第一印象肯定是"物体"，但殊不知它还可以被用作动词object to sth/sb，意思是"反对，**"。因此应该做到知其然，更知其所以然。
根据这些四级考查的特点，我们在复*单词的`时候就可以有的放矢了，放矢方法如下：
1.分类记忆
两种分类方法来记忆单词：第一，根据词性分类。第二，根据形义分类。首先按名词、动词、形容词、连词来分。再按有无搭配把各种词性的单词分成两类。最好还能再根据感情色彩、褒义贬义来记忆。然后再把形似词和近义词分出来进行比较记忆。单纯的背单词书，而不进行细分种类是没有太大意义的，因为单词书只提供了一种分类方法：字母顺序。
2.真题记忆
找出历年老四级中的词汇与结构部分的真题进行强化核心高频词的训练，因为每年的30道题中题干和四个选项中出现的都是四级最核心的高频词。所以真题是最好的复*材料。不是去做那些题，而是用真题的文字材料进行词汇记忆强化，同时还能熟悉四级经常把哪几个词放在一起考。
当然，单词的记忆方法很多，但是针对四级考试，这两个方法是最为有效的。但是不管怎样：总有一款适合您。
一、背单词的重要性
语言学家TERREL认为，只要掌握了足够的单词，即使没有多少语法知识，外语学*者也能较好地理解外语和用外语进行表达，但是!!语言学家WILKINS有一句经典的名言：“没有语法只能传达很少(注意是很少)的信息，没有词汇则什么也无法传达。”美国语言学家Diller研究表明，如果我们认识25个单词，*均每一页上我们就认识23%个单词;如果我们认识135个单词，该百分比就达到50%;2500个单词量相当于78%;5000个单词量相应于86%;10000个单词量相当于92%.
所以，单词量越大的同学在阅读理解中看懂的部分就越多，正确率就就越大。而针对四六级考试，大纲要求的词汇量分别是4500和6000.考虑到腹黑出题老师想要陷害大家的心理，所以上考场前一定要备好足够的单词哦。
二、哪类单词最重要?
背单词的主要任务是解决三类词，名词，动词，形容词。但是名词其实是可以描述的，操作方法为：功能作用描述词+属性词。例如：六级翻译中的“火药”，正确说法是gunpowder.但是考前没记过，也不用捉急，可以描述为blasting(爆炸功能)powder(属性为粉末)。在阅读理解中，如果遇到不认识的词，直接把它理解成某某某东西继续往下读，就可以啦。而且，在阅读理解中，不认识的名词可以帮助定位。四六级有3%的超纲率，所以即使考前横扫单词大纲的同学，一篇文章会有四五个单词不认识，用圈圈(当然看个人喜好，方块也是可以的哈)画出来，后面有惊喜哦。你会发现文章后的题目中，这个生词些许就成了定位词，这个时候在考场上千万要控制自己的情绪，不要高兴过头啊。有的同学说，呀，这样的话，我满篇都是圈圈，要密集恐惧了。对于这种同学，我也只能说，且行且珍惜，重在参与吧。所以，对于时间紧任务重的同学，背单词的精力尽量放在动词和形容词上。
三、背单词的方法
现在背单词主流的方法是运用词根词缀。但是，只要想想中文就知道，你会把记个单立人旁，之后打通所有与人有关的单词当成一种负担么?记词根词缀也是同样的道理。加之就像中文里偏旁部首是其他汉字的变形，英文中词根词缀也是可以认祖归宗的。例如词根sid-，大家水汪汪的大眼睛都可以看出它就是sit的弟弟。之后头上戴个花，别个发卡就是我们的四级单词preside和reside了。

Some education experts in Vietnam say such knowledge may help college graduates get jobs. The countrys economy has improved. But many graduates continue to have a hard time finding employment. Local media report ten percent of university graduates do not have a job.
Earlier this year, 24-year-old Pham Minh Dap and his brother established a school they call Stand By You. Volunteers teach poor students English and Japanese.
Many classes are free. Students with some language knowledge pay 25 to 50 cents per class.
Mr. Dap pays about $500 to rent the language center space and for other costs. He gives about $150 from his earnings as a street vendor and private language teaching. His brother gives the same amount from money he earns as a secretary. Friends provide the rest.
Mr. Dap says students come to the city from the countryside and must pay for food or rent. He says the students parents are farmers. And he said farmers are very poor in Vietnam.
But Pham Minh Dap is also poor. He sells balloons and childrens toys outside Hoa Binh Park in the center of Vietnams capital. He works there for a few hours on most afternoons. He earns about five dollars each day.

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem says his nation is willing to work with the international community in the fight against Islamic State militants. He also appealed to others to end their support for the militants. The official spoke Monday; the day after Syria lost a major airbase in the northern Raqqa province.

Ukraine Says Russian Military Has Crossed Its Border
A top Ukrainian official said Monday Russian tanks and other military vehicles had crossed into southeastern Ukraine.
A spokesman for Ukraines National Security Council, Andriy Lysenko, said the group of 10 tanks, two armored vehicles and two trucks crossed the border near Shcherbak. He said the Russian military vehicles were flying flags of separatist Donetsk rebels.

One of these groups is Shoah Foundation Student Association at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. It invited survivors to share their memories of the horrific event.
Yannick Tona has been traveling the world to talk about the genocide. He spoke about his experiences to a crowed of students at USC. He told them what happened in his country, and what happened to his own family.
I remember the first time I saw the killing. The first time I saw people been killed. The first time I saw bodies, said Tona.
He was only four years old at the time. He said he hid in bushes and heard screaming. He said he saw big bloody knives and bodies on the street everywhere. Mr Tonas one-year-old brother and his grandmother were killed.
Rwandan Edith Umugiraneza said she struggled with the guilt, she fought for surviving when her mother, brothers and many other relatives did not.
Because I was blaming, Why did I survive why I did not go with others? I had the question, Why, why? all the time, said Umugiraneza.
Ms Umugiraneza now lives in the United States. She said prayer and sharing stories with other survivors has helped her to heal.
