Our English Teacher
Our English teacher, Miss Liang is the best teacher I have so far. She has not only treated us as her younger sisters and brothers, but is also enthusiastic and conscientious in her teaching.
She is thirtyix, but she does not look her age for she is attractive and delicate. In class she is dignified and reserved and after class she plays and jokes with us. She is our friend as well as our teacher.
She is never tired of helping us in our work. She patiently answers our questions all in English. Also, we are required to prepare our lessons before coming to class. Furthermore, no matter how many new words there are in the texts, we are told to look up their meanings in the dictionary. She knows how to help her students to achieve the best result in the limited time.
With Miss Liang as our teacher, all of us have made amazing progress in our English study. She is both our best friend and best teacher. We all like her very much.

Over the past couple of years, a variety of talent shows have emerged on TV channels across the nation, from Super Girls to Happy Boys and so forth. This type of entertainment program is intensely popular, especially among young *s and has produced profound impacts on their studies and life.

The reason why I am in favor of it is that student pavilion plays a positive role in improving students studies. Attending TV PK Shows Does No Good to Young People
Nowadays, TV PK shows are great hits in China and have attracted a large number of adolescents. Some youngsters even give up their studies to attend these shows in the hope of winning their fame overnight. Some people argue that these shows provide young people more chance to show talents, while others assume that attending these shows does no good to the juvenile. As for me, I prefer to the latter opinion.

The following reasons can support my view. First and foremost, TV PK shows breed restlessness and induce young people to hunt after fame at whatever cost. They cling to the idea that attending the PK shows is a shortcut to success, so they may despise the way of achieving success by hard work.
