今年暑假，我和爸爸妈妈去了北京，刚上火车，我们就计划去长城看看。
二叔家住在北京，离八达岭长城有七十多里路，到了他家的第二天，我就央求让二叔带我们去八达岭看长城。一路的风景真美啊!路两侧的山都非常高，而且特别陡，山上开满了各色的鲜花。突然，我远远地望见了在图画里见到的长城，它弯延起伏在崇山峻岭之中，象一条长龙。

哦，对了！在古长城的.边上还有一个有名的梅园呢！只是现在我们来的不是时候，梅花已经看不到了，只看见枝繁叶茂的梅树，我们在梅园逗留了一会，就匆匆继续赶路了。
直到中午十分我们才到达长城的尽头，走下石阶，我们还去了有名的**街逛了一逛，在那里爸爸还给我买了许多好玩的小玩意呢。
今年暑假，我参加了“爱国百分百寻宝夏令营”，来到了美丽的首都北京。
我们的足迹几乎走遍了北京的每一个名胜古迹。有庄严的***，有古老的故宫、颐和园，有美丽的海洋馆，还有雄伟的长城······最令我兴奋的还是我第一次登上了伟大的长城！
站在长城脚下举目仰望，长城像一条长长的巨龙横卧在山上，将大山隔开了。我登上长城后，发现它长得前不见头，后不见尾。我还看见了两侧城墙上布满了垛口、射口和t望口。每隔一段距离就有一个烽火台，据说古代打仗时，一旦发现有敌情，就在这烽火台上燃烧狼粪，冒出的烟就叫做狼烟，其他人看到了狼烟，就会跑过去支援。我站在高高的烽火台上，眺望着远处的美丽景色。你瞧，远处的山林蒙蒙胧胧的，看起来跟仙境似的'。再瞧瞧下面，公共汽车像火柴盒一样，行人就像蚂蚁一样大小。足可见长城有多高，修筑长城多么艰辛。我早就听说“孟姜女哭长城”的故事，这就更体现了古代劳动人民修长城时的艰难、险阻。
啊！伟大的长城，你是多少古代劳动人民的血汗才凝结成的，真不愧是世界的奇迹！
8月25日，我和妈妈去北京八达岭长城玩。
我们从北京坐动车去八达岭看长城，一个小时就到了八达岭。当我们第一次到达第一座烽火台时，我低头一看，一切都变得如此渺小。当我们爬上去的时候，它变得更小了。我们还从高处拍了照片。从高高的烽火台往下看，已经很壮观了。我们继续往上爬，前面的台阶变成了60度上坡。我们慢慢扶着栏杆，一步一步往上爬。大约一个小时后，我们终于爬到了山顶。我们已经筋疲力尽了。从上到下，一切都变得太小。接下来，我们开始去市区。下城有三种选择，一种是坐缆车，一种是坐滑轮，第三种是走路。你觉得我会坐在什么上面？知道我体力的人肯定会觉得我可以坐公交。实话告诉你，我走镇上！所谓上山容易下山难。下山的.时候，因为有很多山坡都是60度下坡，我们没法冲下去，只能用脚趾用力蹬鞋，慢慢扶着栏杆，弄得我脚趾疼死了。两个多小时后，我们终于回到了八达岭入口。这时候我已经气喘吁吁，大汗淋漓了。
虽然今天很累，但是看到了长城的壮丽景色，累了也无怨无悔！
假日里，妈妈带我去北京爬长城。
从北京出发，半个多小时后，我们就远远地看到了天下第一雄关——居庸关长城。云雾中的长城，就像一条巨龙在山上盘旋，真壮观！我站在长城脚下抬头望，啊！长城那么高，那么长，那么险，有几个烽火台简直在云彩上面哩。再看那笔陡的.石级，一级那么高，似乎一大步都跨不上去，真叫人发颤。
开始登长城了，我双手紧拉住城墙边上的扶手，小心翼翼地向上爬。遇到人多的地方，我只好松开手，手脚并用向上爬，害怕一不小心就会骨碌骨碌滚下去。
我越爬越害怕，就打起了退堂鼓。妈妈怎么劝，我也不听。可是向下走了几步，我却看到许多比我还小的小朋友都在勇敢的向上爬，其中还有许多外国小朋友呢！我想起了妈妈说的话“不到长城非好汉”，又想到绝不能输给外国小朋友，于是我又鼓起勇气向上爬去。
爬呀爬，我和妈妈终于登上了长城最险的烽火台，我们在上面照了几张相留作纪念。
从长城下来，我和妈妈又在好汉碑前照了几张相。看到有那么多人还在向上爬，我感到非常自豪，因为我已经成为好汉了。
为了让我们的`写作题材丰富，老师特意带我们来到了山海关长城博物馆。
来了几个展厅，真是各有千秋，最后，我们走进了大炮的天地，刚进屋，就见一个高大的大炮横摆在中心，它出土于南涂庄，用手摸摸，很粗糙，都是凹凸不*的坑，可以看出，他曾经经历了多少风雨！
环望四周，我看见了一个八国联军侵略中国人民时残恶的情景：只见他们把几个中国人的眼睛用沙布蒙上，让他们看不见，然后用绳子把他们的手绑上，中国人那种不肯认输的精神，使他们愤怒不堪，只要他的一声令下，这些中国人的后果可想而之。但是，中国人并不认输，最后，中国人的人头落地。八国联军的一举一动使我笑不出来了，那是几几条人命啊，就毁在他们手里，心里不断的酸痛使我控制不住自己，我要让我自己强大起来，让中国人民强大起来，让他们知道中国人民不是“***”而是强者，强者！
我今后一定珍惜我们的幸福生活，它来之不易，都是革命先辈，甚至是中国人民用鲜血换来的，珍惜吧！

经过了两个小时的车程，我终于到了八达岭长城。长城非常雄伟，像一条巨龙在山岭中穿梭。城墙都是由大石头拼起来的.，上面布满了一个个嘹望口和射口，那时候没有卡车和起重机，都是由士兵们一步步抬上这陡峭的山岭的，我深深地感受到了士兵们的艰辛和不易。
登上长城，上面烟雾弥漫，就像是到了仙境一般。一路上有斜坡也有楼梯，斜坡有四十五度斜，有些楼梯一节高度就盖过了我的膝盖。我爬着爬着就感到腿发软，可看见爸爸和哥哥一直在努力爬着，我不想落后，也一直紧跟着。我们爬到第十一个烽火台上，上面也有嘹望口和射口，这是屯兵的堡垒，两个烽火台之间可以相互呼应。我们回到了第九个烽火台时，就大声喊道“妈妈……”，妈妈在第八个烽火台上听见后也回应了一声。原来古代打仗时就是这样传播信息的，又快速又准确！
美丽而雄伟的长城是世界上的一个奇迹，我爱我的长城！我为自己是中国人而骄傲！
