Some employees cannot have their legal holidays and even have to work overtime, such as policemen, construction workers and people in the service line.Those professions just can't be interrupted for a mornent;other wise the society will be in a mess. 三、存在的不足

这学期我担任的是八年级5、6班的英语教学。学生基础差，我在实践中积极探索新的教学方式，潜心研究英语课堂教学，深刻领会新课改的理念，注重激发和培养学生学*英语的兴趣，开展了“如何学好英语”等活动，树立学*英语的自信心，注重形成性评价在英语教学中的运用，并能够及时总结经验。具体成效如下：
1、充分认识教材的特点，了解学生的特性。
这届学生用的是仁爱的教材，针对的是有一定英语基础的学生，起点比较高，单词的呈现比较多，而且难度梯度不明显，提倡“用到即学”，很多内容对于大多数学生理解起来是有难度的。而我们作为农村地区的学生本来基础就差，在这种情况下，我感觉上课难度比较大。所以在授课时我尽量使抽象的问题具体化、枯燥的问题趣味化，尽力采取多种方法去提高学生学*英语的兴趣。如多讲一些有关英美国家的文化知识、生活故事，把难记的知识点编成一段段朗朗上口又容易记忆的顺口溜等。
2、注重因材施教，准确把握难易度。
了解和分析学生情况，有针对性地教学对教学成功与否至关重要。在一节课上，既有大量的单词呈现，又有句子、篇章的理解，还会有语法的讲解，给人的感觉乱而无序。有的学生更有一种“丈二和尚摸不着头脑”的感觉。所以我在备课的时候，就会根据学生的实际情况把教材内容进行适当的改编、整理，每节课确定一个重点内容，对于那些难度较大的内容我先适当降低难度再逐步增加，这样学生更容易接受。
同时根据不同的班级学生的整体素质，性格特点等，我也采取了不同的策略。5班学生整体基础不太好，接受新知识的能力较差。在这个班我多采用传统的教学方式，让学生多读多背，多给他们布置一些基础性的题来巩固所学内容。一班基础好的学生要多一些。所以在这个班我采取比较开发的课堂形式，多给学生创设机会让他们尽可能地用英语说出自己能想到的。这样，既锻炼了学生的听说能力，又培养了学生的创新思维能力。而且学生通过这样多次的“自我展现”，其自信心和学*兴趣得到了极大的提高。
3、认真完成各项常规教学环节，注重学法指导。
教师的教学活动是否能取得好的效果最主要还是体现在落实好常规教学环节上。我仍然坚持认真备好每节课，做到备教材、备学生及备教参课辅资料三结合，总是以最充分的准备去完成每次教学任务。在教学活动中，我针对不同的教学内容采取不同的教学方法和教学手段，多让他们注重对基础知识的积累，抓词汇和句型学*，经常进行听写训练，每天布置听写任务，对所学新单词、新短语、好句子进行听写，提高学生对记忆单词和句型的能力。认真抓常规教学，注意培养学生的听说读写的能力，充分利用早读时间，要求学生大声朗读并背诵课文。并能耐心细致地给学生做好辅导工作，详细地批改每份作业。坚持布置适量的作业，使学生所学知识得到巩固和提高。布置作业时，坚持做到有针对性，有层次性，形式多样化。注意教学的侧重点和难点，加大阅读和听力的训练力度，效果明显；抓小测验，坚持单元检测，及时发现并提醒学*出现问题的学生，帮助他们把成绩赶上来，培养他们的综合运用知识的能力。
4、努力完成其他方面的工作。
在完成教学工作的同时，不段优化课堂教学，进行多媒体教学的研究，积极帮助其他教师制作多媒体教学课件，并利用课件来辅助教学为教学服务。另外，还组织了学生进行英语奥林匹克竞赛辅导，有一名学生进入了全国决赛。
四、存在的问题和今后努力的方向
总的来说，这一年的工作我取得了一定的进步，但也还有许多不足之处。
1、班级整体学*氛围不浓。
2、学生整体基础非常差，英语基本功弱。
3、部分学生学*态度不端正，学*自主性差，不能独立完成作业。
4、一些学生不能坚持并按时背诵老师布置的单词、句型及课文。
5、写作能力差，很多学生不能造完整的句子。
6、学生成绩两极分化严重，对部分后进生关注还不够，对优等生的培养力度还很需要加大。
今后在工作中，学*新的教学方法，努力在做好教学常规工作的情况下，要不断优化课堂教学，多注意学法指导，加强和学生之间的互动，并坚持多听课，学*同科目教师先进的教学方法及教学理念，加大对学生单词、句型及课文背诵的检查力度，指导学生一些学*英语及做题的方法。加强转差培优力度，加强教学反思，加大英语写作训练力度，在对知识的积累过程中，提高学生的综合运用知识的能力，力争在下半学期教育教学中上一个新的高度。
