The giant panda has long been a favorite of the public, at least partly on account of the fact that the species has an appealing baby-like cuteness that makes it seem to resemble a living teddy bear. The fact that it is usually depicted reclining peacefully eating bamboo, as opposed to hunting, also adds to its image of innocence. Though the giant panda is often assumed docile because of their cuteness, they have been known to attack humans, usually assumed to be out of irritation rather than predatory behavior.

本学期，我担任了初二年级英语科目的教育教学工作，在这个学年的教学工作中，我感慨万千，这其中有苦有乐，有辛酸也有喜悦，失败与成功并存。在这一学年里，我觉得我自己是过得紧张又忙碌，愉快又充实的。特从以下几个方面做出本学年的工作总结。
教学就是教与学，两者是相互联系，不可分割的，有教者就必然有学者。学生是被教的主体。因此，了解和分析学生情况，有针对地教对教学成功与否至关重要。一 方面，学生英语听，说的能力相对较弱，授课采用较深的全英教学，同学们还不能适应。另一方面，班上有些的同学比较活跃，上课气氛积极，但中等生占较大多 数，尖子生相对较少。因此，讲得太深，没有照顾到整体，而有些同学比较沉静，学*欠积极性，中下层面而也广，我备课时也没有注意到这点，因此教学效果不如 理想。从此可以看出，了解及分析学生实际情况，实事求是，具体问题具体分析，做到因材施教，对授课效果有直接影响。这就是教育学中提到的“备教法的同时要 备学生”。这一理论在我的教学实践中得到了验证。
教学中，备课是一个必不可少，十分重要的环节，备学生，又要备教法。备课不充分或者备得不好，会严重影响课堂气氛和积极性，曾有一位前辈对我说：“备课备 不好，倒不如不上课，否则就是白费心机。”我明白到备课的重要性，因此，每天我都花费大量的时间在备课之上，认认真真钻研教材和教法，不满意就不收工。虽 然辛苦，但事实证明是值得的。
一堂准备充分的课，会令学生和老师都获益不浅。相反，我没有认真备课的时候，课堂气氛沉闷，教学效果不好，与此相比可见，认真备课对教学十分重要。特别是对英语这门学生不甚熟悉并感到困难的外语来说至关重要。
备课充分，能调动学生的积极性，上课效果就好。但同时又要有驾驭课堂的能力，因为学生在课堂上的一举一动都会直接影响课堂教学。因此上课一定要设法令学生 投入，不让其分心，这就很讲究方法了。上课内容丰富，现实。教态自然，讲课生动，难易适中照顾全部，就自然能够吸引住学生。所以，老师每天都要有充足的精 神，让学生感受到一种自然气氛。这样，授课就事半功倍。回看自己的授课，我感到有点愧疚，因为有时我并不能很好地做到这点。当学生在课堂上无心向学，违反 纪律时，我的情绪就受到影响，并且把这带到教学中，让原本正常的讲课受到冲击，发挥不到应有的水*，以致影响教学效果。我以后必须努力克服，研究方法，采 取有利方法解决当中困难。
英语是一门外语，对学生而言，既生疏又困难，在这样一种大环境之下，要教好英语，就要让学生喜爱英语，让他们对英语产生兴趣。否则学生对这门学科产生畏难 情绪，不原学，也无法学下去。为此，我采取了一些方法，就是帮助班上的同学改英文名，尽量多讲一些关于英美国家的文化，生活故事。
英语是语言。困此，除了课堂效果之外，还需要让学生多读，多讲，多练。为此，在早读时，我坚持下班了解早读情况，发现问题及时纠正。课后发现学生作业问题也及时解决，及时讲清楚，让学生即时消化。另外，对部分不自觉的同学还采取强硬背诵等方式，提高他们的能力。
一、学*课标，明确教学目标。为了使我的英语教学适应新时期英语教学要求、树立起新的育人理念，我们英语组集体抽休息时间对《英语课程标准》进行了研读， 了解了目前英语课程改革的目的、掌握了目前英语改革的重点、明确了英语课程各级的总目标和各内容的分级目标、理解了英语教学原则、学会了一些科学评价原则 等，从而为后面的教学提供了充分的依据、奠定了的扎实的基础、保证了教学的顺利进行。
二、扎实备课，理清教学思路。备课是课堂教学的重要环节，我在备课时做到了以下几点：
1、课前备课，做到“有备而来”。我认真阅读各种教科参书，既备教材、教法，又备学生。结合学生的实际和教材的内容，既要考虑知识的纵向联系，又要考虑新 知的横向衔接；既要突出重点，又要突破难点；既要体现出完整的教学过程，又要注意好各环节的过渡自然。并制作了各种有趣的教具，如：单词卡片、实物（图 片）、头饰等教具为课堂教学做好服务。
2、课中备课，灵活安排简单易操作的游戏活动。我通过游戏引入新课教学时，为了不打消学生的积极性，我在实施教学的时候，总是尽量设计一些简单易操作的游 戏及活动，将教学内容层层铺开，把枯燥乏味的课堂变为生动有趣“快乐堡”，让他们在快乐中学*，在玩中获得新知，通过反复的趣味操练（如：唱、演、玩、 画、涂色、做手工等形式）来巩固所学新知。在活动中学生们都乐于参与，充分调动了学生们的情感态度和兴趣，学生的积极性得到了充分发挥，教学效果良好。
3、课后备课，总结教学经验。每上完一单元，我都及时对该单元作出总结和反思，写出教学后记，肯定本节课成功的地方，探讨该单元的不足之处，为以后的教学工作打下基础。
三、认真上课，体现以人为本。《英语课程标准》提出“让学生在教师的指导下，通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式，实现任务的目标，感受成功。”这便 要求，英语课的教学要以学生为主，培养他们学*英语的兴趣，提高他们对词汇、句型的听说认读和语言实际运用的能力。为此，我在实际的课堂教学中做了以下几 点：
1、巧设导入，培养兴趣。每节的教学我首先通过做游戏、唱英语歌来激发学生的学*兴趣，让学生融洽在学*英语的氛围内。
2、图文结合，掌握新知。根据教材“图文并茂”的特点，充分运用单词卡片、实物教具、简笔画及肢体语言来启发学生，使学生带着明确的任务目标，并借助图 片、动作、表情等手段掌握其义，让他们积极主动参与学*获取新知过程，培养他们学*英语的兴趣。在遇到难读的单词或句子时，我不厌其烦，耐心教导学生认 读，力争让他们学了就懂，懂了会用，培养他们认读的能力。在学*新知的.同时，还适时对他们进行思想教育。
3、游戏活动，巩固新知。在完成了每节课的新授任务后，抓住学生争强好胜的心理，通过师生互动、生生互动的游戏活动将教学内容层层铺开；为了尊重学生的个体差异，营造宽松的学*。
期中考和期末考是考察每位同学在本学期的学*成果，因此应该予以重视。考试前进行有系统的复*，考试后进行学科总结。从中段考试可以看出五年级三个班的* 均水*有一些差距，一和三班的差生面相对较大。所以在中段考后的时间里，我把力量主要集中在两班的差生辅导上，特别是三班，以缩短差距。另外，还发现学生 的综合能力不够强，所以以后的教学中要加强这方面的训练。让学生轻松学，容易掌握。而期考结果证明，适当辅导差生对班的整体发展有很大帮助。
刚开学的时候，由于刚刚分的班，老师也都换成新的老师，学生喜欢学*、模仿。但是，经过这一个月我发现，学生们好奇心逐渐减弱。随着学*难度的增加，学生产生了消极情感，没有兴趣，甚至厌学。
在这一个月的学*中，我对学生学*英语的要求过于严格不能注意到学生的差异性，没有发现他们理解语言的快慢程度，最终导致有的学生吃得饱，有的学生吃不饱。吃不饱的那部分学生就会产生以下情绪：上课或讲练*的时候，就会马虎，注意力不集中。我还发现有些知识点讲过后，有的甚至操练了多遍，反反复复强调了，学生仍没有掌握，时间长了学生的学*兴趣不见了。

三.应加强学生的对话强度，鼓励不开口说英语的学生开口。有些学生是对自己不自信，所以当学生出现错误的时候应微笑着让他坐下，然后再纠正错误。
四.八年级英语教学单词仍然是基础。我认为就应打好学生的单词基础。在讲授的过程中，不仅仅要学生掌握基本的单词知识，还要和他们一齐寻找记忆单词的好方法。
五.培养学生们的课文背诵潜力。严格要求有潜力的学生背诵课文。基础差的学生要求他们熟读课文，这样能够培养他们的英语语感。
六.充分利用好课堂笔记本和纠错本，要让学生及时纠错，及时复*.

一、重视课文的模仿朗读和背诵
口语训练中，课文的模仿朗读和背诵尤其重要。我们的教师很多没出国学*，口语不是很标准，因而跟读课文磁带是纠正学生不正确的发音的有效手段。背诵课文能帮忙学生在脑子里储存词汇和*惯用语，构成快捷的语流和语感，从而打好坚实的学*英语和运用英语的基础，这个过程对以后的学*都是十分有必要的，它更是发展学生的口语交往潜力的保证。要让学生清楚认识到英语口语潜力的构成务必首先有语言材料的超多有效输入和积累作为基矗在实际教学过程中，教师能够每一天抽查部分学生的背书状况，并就其流利程度和语音语调给一个档次，记录下来，每个月给予公布和奖励，以起到激励作用。同时我们要抓住这个有利契机，培养学生的自信心。
二、在课堂上创造说英语的环境
(一)课前五分钟的口语训练，促进学生口语的提高
每一天学生轮流值日，从而获得均等的机会来训练口语，时间2-3分钟，资料由学生根据自己的水*自由选取，可由浅到深、由易到难。能够是每日报告、搞笑的经历、故事讲解、与同学之间的对话等等。在值日生说完之后，务必给下面的同学提两个问题让他们回答，这样就能够到达共同提高的目的，同时也要给该生一个口语分数，并且记录在册。这是巩固知识和构成口语潜力的有效途径，在不知不觉中让学生得到锻炼，既增强学生学*兴趣，又培养了自信心，给每一个学生展示口语的机会和*台，让他们体验成功的乐趣。
(二)以小组为学*单位，互相帮忙，共同提高
每个学*小组4-6人，注意按学生的英语成绩进行合理的组合搭配，课堂上能够小组为单位进行对话训练、课本剧表演、问题讨论等等，这样能够使每个学生都有口语实践的机会，同时优等生能够在小组内起到带动作用，收到一举两得的效果。小组讨论完之后，还要挑选几组当堂表演或对话，并且让学生自己评出优胜者予以鼓励。为了获胜，学生在上新课之前会自觉预*，这样一来学生的预**惯得以养成，真是一举多得!
(三)鼓励学生抬头说英语，大胆展现自己
无论是阅读课还是对话课，教师都就应给学生带给一个表达自己的思想、感情和意见的时间和空间。当学生急于说出内心想法的时候，必须要鼓励学生抬头说英语，目视对话者，以示真诚和专注，然后说出自己要说的资料。学生在不经意的抬头之间，暗合了口语*得的规律。在阅读和模仿之后，有了必须的语言输入，然后抬头，重新理顺结构，排列词组，以期表达自己。学生可能借用课文或对话中的原句，还可能犯一些语法错误，但是这已经不重要了，重要的是已经把书上的语言融为自己的语言。这个内化的过程至关重要，因为它不仅仅考验了学生的记忆，更重要的是，他们开始尝试着创造性地运用语言，组织句子，而非简单地朗读或背诵。抬头说英语，使消极的语言理解转为主动的输出，完成了一个巧妙的过渡。

教师要想方设法营造宽松的语言环境和氛围，让学生大胆、主动发表意见，这是培养学生口语潜力的有效途径。在不同的口语训练形式中要体现学生的主体作用，培养思维潜力及创新意识，实现知识从不会—学会—会用的转化，让学生用心参与，在练*中发现问题，解决问题，从而体会成功的乐趣。课堂上的口语训练形式是多样的：按人数能够分为单人的、双人的、小组的，按形式能够分为对话、表演、说唱、讨论、辩论、口头作文、演讲、看录像等等。丰富多变的课堂形式能够吸引学生的注意力，提高学生的兴趣，刺激他们用英语表达思想的愿望，从而到达从知识向潜力转化的目的。
三、举行英语圣诞晚会，加强口语实践
开展多种形式的课外活动，是提高学生口语表达潜力的一个重要环节。学生在40分钟的课堂上操练口语是远远不够的。因此倡导学生课后多听多说多唱是很有必要的，因此晚会的形式不拘一格，多种多样。
(一)英语朗读、演讲、讲故事。
(二)英语歌典、戏剧表演、小品表演。

由于教材的不断改革，我不敢怠慢，认真学*，研究教法，虚心向别人学*。不断总结教学的成功与失败的经验。一个学期过去了，以下是我在这个学期的教学体会。
一、及时帮忙，以防为主
初中英语的教学重点是基础知识和基本技能，因此教学应面向全体同学，争取做到人人基本达标。在教学过程中学生学*出现差距是不可避免的。一旦出现，就及时找学生谈，分析他们掉队的原因，动之以情，晓之以理，使学生从思想上认识到学*外语的重要性。同时给予学*方法的指导，耐心帮忙他们补*功课。对于一些有可能掉队的学生，及早指出，说明掉队的严重后果，做到防患于未然。
二、讲究教法，因材施教
外语教学和其他学科一样，有严谨的系统性和连贯性。学生在初一阶段所获得的语言技能，能否在初二年级得到继续发展，是防止分
化的又一个问题。这就给我提出了更高的要求，即力求把教学搞“实”、搞“活”。“实”是讲究实际效果，把教学大纲化为具体的要求，落实到教和学上，对每课时的教学计划逐项落实。课堂上，少讲空话，多做实事，精讲多练，以学生为主；对每个单元进行考查、总结，分析存在问题，及时补遗，帮忙学生过关。*时作业或测验得到好成绩或有进步的，必须在班上进行表扬，给予肯定；对作业错漏较多的当面批改，及时订正。“活”是侧重听说训练，把外语课由“讲演课”转成“实践课”。采用展示性的直观教学方法，使学生一上课就置身于一个讲英语的环境中，在既紧张而又活泼的气氛中学*英语。如教学一开始就寓于情景，教师一边做动作，一边说“WhatamIdoingI'mwriting/drinkingtea、”等等，之后让学生表演动作。“Readabook，please”当学生在读课文时，问这位学生：“Whatareyoudoing”帮忙他回答：“Iamreadingabook、”再叫学生表演，“What'sshedoing”并回答，从而引出新单词。学生在情景中超多实践，很容易掌握所学资料。
三、激发动机，诱发兴趣
激发学生的学*内在动力，使学生用心主动地学*，是防止分化的一个重要方面。初二学生要是能听懂老师和同学说的英语，自己能用英语表达简单的思想，能读懂简易读物，他们就会感到有收获，兴趣就会产生，所以每堂课我都注意让学生有练的资料，有练的时间。每次
练*五分钟左右，费时不多收获较大。另外，给学生留同步阅读训练作业，以开阔学生眼界。异国他乡的风俗*惯、名人趣事，让学生在英语阅读中了解到，这大大激发了学生的学*热情，增强了学*兴趣。我不断为学生创造成功的机会，让他们更多地尝到成功的喜悦。同时良好的师生关系对培养学生的兴趣也起到了帮忙，因此，我注意控制自己的情绪，关心学生，尤其差生，同他们交朋友，不歧视他们，不动不动就训斥他们，常鼓励他们的学*自信心和学*热情。
因此，在教学上，我尽力了解学生的实际状况，因材施教。提高学生的学*兴趣，重视培养学生良好的学**惯，培养学生的交际潜力，使他们学会运用英语进行初步的交际。在今后的教学中，我将更加努力。
一、重视课文的模仿朗读和背诵
口语训练中，课文的模仿朗读和背诵尤其重要。我们的教师很多没出国学*，口语不是很标准，因而跟读课文磁带是纠正学生不正确的发音的有效手段。背诵课文能帮忙学生在脑子里储存词汇和*惯用语，构成快捷的语流和语感，从而打好坚实的学*英语和运用英语的基础，这个过程对以后的学*都是十分有必要的，它更是发展学生的口语交往潜力的保证。要让学生清楚认识到英语口语潜力的构成务必首先有语言材料的超多有效输入和积累作为基矗在实际教学过程中，教师能够每一天抽查部分学生的背书状况，并就其流利程度和语音语调给一个档次，记录下来，每个月给予公布和奖励，以起到激励作用。同时我们要抓住这个有利契机，培养学生的自信心。
二、在课堂上创造说英语的环境
(一)课前五分钟的口语训练，促进学生口语的提高
每一天学生轮流值日，从而获得均等的机会来训练口语，时间2-3分钟，资料由学生根据自己的水*自由选取，可由浅到深、由易到难。能够是每日报告、搞笑的经历、故事讲解、与同学之间的对话等等。在值日生说完之后，务必给下面的同学提两个问题让他们回答，这样就能够到达共同提高的目的，同时也要给该生一个口语分数，并且记录在册。这是巩固知识和构成口语潜力的有效途径，在不知不觉中让学生得到锻炼，既增强学生学*兴趣，又培养了自信心，给每一个学生展示口语的机会和*台，让他们体验成功的乐趣。
(二)以小组为学*单位，互相帮忙，共同提高
每个学*小组4-6人，注意按学生的英语成绩进行合理的组合搭配，课堂上能够小组为单位进行对话训练、课本剧表演、问题讨论等等，这样能够使每个学生都有口语实践的机会，同时优等生能够在小组内起到带动作用，收到一举两得的效果。小组讨论完之后，还要挑选几组当堂表演或对话，并且让学生自己评出优胜者予以鼓励。为了获胜，学生在上新课之前会自觉预*，这样一来学生的预**惯得以养成，真是一举多得!
(三)鼓励学生抬头说英语，大胆展现自己
无论是阅读课还是对话课，教师都就应给学生带给一个表达自己的思想、感情和意见的时间和空间。当学生急于说出内心想法的时候，必须要鼓励学生抬头说英语，目视对话者，以示真诚和专注，然后说出自己要说的资料。学生在不经意的抬头之间，暗合了口语*得的规律。在阅读和模仿之后，有了必须的语言输入，然后抬头，重新理顺结构，排列词组，以期表达自己。学生可能借用课文或对话中的原句，还可能犯一些语法错误，但是这已经不重要了，重要的是已经把书上的语言融为自己的语言。这个内化的过程至关重要，因为它不仅仅考验了学生的记忆，更重要的是，他们开始尝试着创造性地运用语言，组织句子，而非简单地朗读或背诵。抬头说英语，使消极的语言理解转为主动的输出，完成了一个巧妙的过渡。
(四)开动脑筋，营造活跃的课堂氛围
教师要想方设法营造宽松的语言环境和氛围，让学生大胆、主动发表意见，这是培养学生口语潜力的有效途径。在不同的口语训练形式中要体现学生的主体作用，培养思维潜力及创新意识，实现知识从不会—学会—会用的转化，让学生用心参与，在练*中发现问题，解决问题，从而体会成功的乐趣。课堂上的口语训练形式是多样的：按人数能够分为单人的、双人的、小组的，按形式能够分为对话、表演、说唱、讨论、辩论、口头作文、演讲、看录像等等。丰富多变的课堂形式能够吸引学生的注意力，提高学生的兴趣，刺激他们用英语表达思想的愿望，从而到达从知识向潜力转化的目的。
三、举行英语圣诞晚会，加强口语实践
开展多种形式的课外活动，是提高学生口语表达潜力的一个重要环节。学生在40分钟的课堂上操练口语是远远不够的。因此倡导学生课后多听多说多唱是很有必要的，因此晚会的形式不拘一格，多种多样。
开学快一个月了，在这一个月的教学中我发现了不少问题，主要表现在以下几个方面：
一、学生的书写有待提高，刚接这两班时我发现学生的书写特别差，我非常着急所以让学生每天写单词练书写，但是出乎我的预料，一周下来不但没有提高，有些学生反而更差了，通过了解我发现学生的抵抗情绪特别严重。在我值班的那天，我心*气和的和学生交谈了一次，特别是那几个调皮的男生，我和他们从人生谈起，逐渐说到书写的重要性，又给他们把26个字母的书写每人写了一遍，没想到从那天的书写就有了很大的变化。同时那几个调皮的男生上课也老实多了，这使我非常的感动，使我的信心大增。
二、应该给学生更多的时间朗读课文。通过这一个月的学*，我发现学生的朗读水*不高，仅仅通过课上练*是不够的，为了能够更好的让学生朗读课文，我让学生课后由组长带领朗读课文，然后每节课拿出时间让学生进行展示。通过阅读我发现学生缺少朗读方法的指导，在今后的学*中，我要在这方面多对学生进行指导，多让他们练*。
三、知识运用能力差，通过学*Module2我发现学生的接受能力差，我忽视了学生的接受要有一个过程，仅仅听到学生口头回答以为掌握好了，以致我再讲完成时态的其他问题时就出现了问题。我深刻反思以后，决定从读入手，让学生先从语感开始，然后把自己说的最好的句子写下来，这样一步一步的效果明显好多了。
通过这些问题我觉得在今后的教学中，应该多关爱学生，把起点订的低一点，然后逐步引导，不能只靠自己主观意志，多分析学生，然后根据学生实际多练*，那样学生才能爱学。
这学期,我任教八年级(初二)1和4班的英语。英语是中学生的一门主课，无论是学校、家长还是学生都很重视它，但是不少学生觉得这门功课单调枯燥，学起来吃力，甚至有不少学生放弃了它。究其原因，是学生对英语学*的接触面小，说练机会少，以及他与中文的部分反差的诸多因素，使得学生对英语学*常常存在 “厌、怕、弃”的不健康的心理。这使我不得不改进教学方法。这学期我做的成功之处是：
第一，确立与新课程相适应的教育观念。
学生是学*的主体，老师不能代替学生读书，代替学生感知，代替学生观察、分析、思考，代替学生明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。老师只能让学生自己读书，自己感受事物，自己观察、分析、思考，从而明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。于是我改变“一言堂”，把课堂还给学生，形成师生交往、积极互动、共同发展的教学过程。
第二，使学生明白学*目的。
要学好英语，首先要使学生认识到学这一语言的目的和意义。众所周知，人类社会已经进入了21世纪，新的世界将是个充满竞争和多变的世纪，*要在跨世纪的竞争中取得主动，中华民族要腾飞，要最终取决于优秀科技人才的涌现。如果我们不懂英语，怎么去了解世界?只有学生自觉地把自己的理想与祖国的前途和命运联系起来，才会对英语学*真正感兴趣，这种兴趣也有可能转为学*英语的动力。因此我结合学生的实际情况，通读和节选教材，围绕着最简单、最基本、最常用的英语词汇、句型、交际会话等进行教学，使学生对英语产生兴趣，形成学*动机。
第三， 改革课堂教学，积极运用学校推广的讲学稿。
积极响应和落实学校的改革实验课题，在每一节英语课堂教学中都认真使用讲学稿，并认真出好每一份讲学稿，督促检查好每一位学生做好讲学稿并实行周周清每周小测试，检查学生掌握知识的熟悉程度，以查漏补缺，扎实打好学生的英语基础，尽快提高学生的英语成绩。
第四，努力建立融洽的师生关系。
相对来说，初中生比小学生独立性强，自尊心也逐渐增强，渴望得到尊重。师生之间只有互相尊重，互相信任，才能建立起友好关系，从而促进学生学*的兴趣。所以我
必须树立正确的学生观，正确认识学生的主体地位。我用自己满腔的爱去关心、尊重学生，耐心细致地指导学生，沟通和学生的思想感情，使自己成为学生欢迎和爱戴的人。上课时我是学生的老师，循循善诱和激发学生学*的积极性，大胆求异创新;课后我却成为他们的好朋友，无话不谈，亮起心灵之光;生活上，我是他们的父母，关怀备至。这样经过我一学期的精心教育和培养,我所教班级学生成绩都有不同程度的进步,特别是二(4)班整个班级的学生无论从班级纪律.行业*惯.学*能力及英语成绩各方面都有显著进步.
不足之处：目前的讲学稿教学改革还在试行当中,在课堂上我总怕学生吃不饱，不知不觉地讲多了，给学生思考的空间还不足，知识传授比重大，语言实践不足等等。今后我将建立以学生为本的教育观念，将讲学稿教学改革做到更上一层楼。

A seven day long holiday has flown away. Mourning my happy hours during the vacation, I've been looking forward to winter holidays. People around me seemed to have enjoyed the vacation, too. Then, is it fair that people have the same amount of holidays regardless of their occupations?
Nevertheless, divergent views emerge on the matter in question. Some people are of the opinion that laborers should have the same length of holiday. They hold the view that people are born equal and should be treated equally. The same amount of leisure time may eliminate the unfairness among people who might be upset psychologically if otherwise.
At first sight, it may seem to be an attractive idea, but it doesn't bear much ***ysis.
To begin with, people do different kinds of jobs featuring different labor intensity and so the time needed to refresh their physical condition varies. For example, blue collar workers may work longer hours before they get tired physically, while white collar workers such as doctors and teachers are more mentally stressed. Unable to work continuously as long as those physical labor workers, white collars need more time to pull through the mental weariness than physical tiredness.
All in all, people in different jobs assume different responsibilities and have different degrees of pressure.
Secondly, different tasks and duties are required for different professions, resulting in the variety of holiday periods for people in different walks of life.
Some employees cannot have their legal holidays and even have to work overtime, such as policemen, construction workers and people in the service line.Those professions just can't be interrupted for a mornent;other wise the society will be in a mess. Even for some people in the same occupation, they cannot have the same holidays entitled to them due to many factors out of human control, such as special assignments, and health conditions etc, then not to say people in different fields.
Suppose we, as teachers do, all have three months' holiday in a year.
Then factories have to employ considerably more workers because some of them are enjoying happy holiday.That's obviously against the principles of doing business at lower cost and efficiency.
If we have only three days off in a year, then all the people in our country will be working day after day. No one can squeeze time to visit those tourist resorts leisurely. It goes without saying that the tourist trade and catering industry thus cannot develop rapidly and healthily

It is nothing new that many students go to take after-school classes now, but in my opinion, it’s just a waste of time and money. When I was in primary school, my parents sent me to different kinds of these classes, too. But later I realized I didn’t want to do that anymore. I began to spend more time on reading, doing sports and taking social activities. However, I didn’t fall behind any others in study.
