The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man，but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperor's court.
Unable to regain the respect of the emperor，in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan， the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.
Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan，their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.
Over the years, the story of Qu’s demise transformed into the traditions of racing dragon boats and eating zongzi – a kind of rice wrapped in bamboo leaves. The races have certainly captured the imagination of people from all over the world. Every spring there are nearly 60 dragon boat races held outside of China in cities from Vancouver to Sydney, from Gdańsk, Poland to Cape Town, South Africa. Canada alone has nearly 50 dragon boat teams and Germany has nearly 30.

（一）在积累中领悟。古语说得好：“巧妇难为无米之炊”。因此，在进行书面表达训练之前，我特别强调学生注重语言知识的输入和积累。应该说，听、说、读、写四种技能是相辅相成，相得益彰的。听和读是理解和吸收语言知识的基本手段，只有做足做好这一方面的积累，才能保证好的输出能力。我主要从以下几个点入手：
（1）朗读训练。要求和督促学生以课文段落、所做过的阅读和完形中的优美篇章、新英语九百句、21世纪报中贴*学生学*和生活、社会发展、时代气息的时文为内容，每天保证15分钟的大声朗读，在朗读中领悟和理解语言的结构和功能，培养语感，加深对措辞和表达的感悟。
（2）听写训练。在日常的教学中，有意识地搜集优美实用的词、句、段落和语篇，利用课前3—5分钟进行听写，不仅能促进学生更准确地理解句子及篇章，熟练地书写句子，有效地锻炼学生的书面表达能力,也为日后的写作积累了材料。
（3）摘录好词、好句和好的段落。在*时学*中多留意，多收集素材，力求每天至少记住1—2个好的词句，并尽可能地运用到写作中，这样写作时就可以做到胸有成竹，而不会手忙脚乱，无从下手。
（4）错题集锦。建议学生自备一本命名为 “HotPotatoes”（烫手的马铃薯）的小册子，用以整理和订正练*和考试中出现的错误，随身携带，并时不时地拿出来翻看和辩析，确保在今后少犯或不犯类似的错误。
(二)在训练中突破。提高学生的写作能力并非一朝一夕之功。在教学过程中，教师应自始至终抓好英语基础知识，结合学生的实际情况，突出学生主体，采取有序多样的训练方式来提高学生的遣词造句、谋篇布局的能力，提高实践能力和书面表达能力。
（1）严把书写关。整洁漂亮的书写会给人以美好的印象，也会在一定程度上提高了作文的档次。因此，即使在*时的作业中，我要求组长、科代表层层把关，对随意塗改、书写潦草的作业一律退回重做，力求人人做到卷面整洁，书写工整规范,并把这一观念渗透到*时的每一环节。
（2）常抓改写和缩写。高中英语新教材内容丰富，题材广泛，包容风土人情、历史地理、名人传记、新闻出版、环境保护、自然灾害等方方面面，高中英语写作《高中英语作文教学尝试》。在加强语篇教学的同时，应适时地让学生围绕课文内容进行写的练*，提供机会让他们运用相关的语言知识，是提高写作能力的重要环节;也可精选一些课外英文读物（如《二十一世纪报》）的部分篇章，要求学生进行缩写和改写，让他们在丰富的内容中学会把握要点，又有充分的选择和个性发挥余地。
（3）全真试题演练。认真搜集历年的高考卷、往届的期中和期末考的书面表达并整理归类，有意识地将原文的相关的词、短语和结构挖空，要求学生借助所给的提示完成文中的空白处，让他们在所创设的不同的语境中对错误率较高的动词时态和语态、关键词组和短语、恰当的连词和引导词、实用的句式结构等方面加以强化训练，提高他们在今后的写作中关注和把握好这几方面的意识。
（4）重新排序法。把文章的顺序打乱，然后要求学生按所提供的信息重新排序，使学生在训练中对上下文的衔接及篇章的构建有更加深入和到位的体会及升华；也使他们感受到为了使短文通顺、流畅、自然，不仅得重视篇章的行文逻辑，谋篇布局和连贯性，还必须采用恰当的词汇短语使句与句、段与段之间衔接紧密，过渡自然，使文章紧凑整和，言简意赅。
（5）限时现场作文训练。经过一段时间的积累和循序渐进的实践，定期地让学生进行现场作文的训练是很有必要的。训练中，我主要对文章的体裁作出统一的规定，并让学生自己提供10个左右的词组和短语，2—3个的句式结构，最后汇总在黑板上；然后让他们就这些词组、短语和结构进行口头造句训练，在确保大多数学生已掌握了这些词、句的用法的基础上，要学生门在规定的时间内完成书面表达。在训练的过程中，学生可利用所学的某些词汇、句型，借助已形成的思维定势，用英语表达思想，传递信息，不仅使学生觉得学到的英语知识有了用武之地，也极大地减轻了写作的心理压力，增强了写好文章的信心。
（三）在评改中提高。新课标明确指出在教学中应“以学生为中心，以活动为中心，以任务为中心，突出学生主体，倡导体验与参与，在体验、参与和合作中互相促进，共同进步”，因此在作文的'评改我凸现学生的主体性，充分发动学生参与和体验，在做中学、体验中提高。
（1）吃透评分标准。学生只有在了解写作的评分标准之后，才有可能做到有所侧重，有的放矢，也才不会因某一方面的偏差而白白丢分。因此，在系统训练之前，我都认真地组织学生对评分标准进行学*和研究，确保学生领会评分标准的依据和要旨，以便在写作中避开不利因素，最大限度地减少无谓的失分。
（2）组织自评和组评。在以往的教学中，书面表达都是老师辛辛苦苦评改，而学生只关心得了几分，然后就置之不理了，因此效果总是不尽人意。现在我采用让学生自评和分组评改。比如在配套练*或测试中的书面表达，主要地是把范文印发给学生，人手一份，先明确要点；再点出关键词组短语；然后是文章的连贯性和结构的合理化，也就分数的比例进行一定的指导，最后让学生根据以上几个方面进行自评。在现场限时训练之后，以4人一组把学生分成几个小组，每个成员负责一部份，就动词的正确形式、短语词组的合理搭配、句式结构的准确性及关联词的恰当应用进行评判，分工明确，各司其职；最后再汇总，共同对这几篇短文打分，使学生在分工协作与亲身体验中有更深的印象，在评价别人的同时也达到自省和探究的效果，可谓一举多得。
（3）凸现优美的词句。应该说，在学生的作文中，我们能时不时发现一些优美的词句。因此在评改时，我都尽可能地把这些词句勾画出来，并不失时机地向学生推荐并用多媒体课件集中展示，使学生从中得到肯定、鼓励和推动，也激发他们去作出更多的尝试和创造。
（4）开辟*作欣赏角。经过一段时间的实践和练兵，适时地从学生的*作中选录一些篇章，刊登在*作欣赏角。作品的选录可从多个角度入手，既可以是书写漂亮的佳作以原卷张贴，也可以是进步明显的*作滕写之后张贴，还可以是学生推荐的名篇佳作，诗词歌曲，使学生在欣赏中学*，在学*中竞争，在竞争中提高。
（5）细化作文分数。作文的得分是对学生的劳动的肯定和评估，学生们对此也极为关注。如何充分利用这一有利因素来促动学生致力于书面表达的提高呢？经过一段时间的摸索，我做了细化作文分数的尝试。打分的时候，我把分数分解成内容分（15）+学以致用或优美词句分（３－５）+书写分（２—４），特别突出学以致用分和书写分，在*时的点点滴滴有意识地进行渗透和倡导，使他们在训练中有明确的导向和目标，达到事半功倍之效。
总而言之，提高书面表达的能力不可能是一蹴而就的。只有在明析了评分标准的前提下，经过不懈的积累，掌握一定的写作技巧，通过行之有效的写作实践及不断的归纳和总结来提高学生的谴词造句和谋篇布局的能力，才有可能使他们的写作能力得到质的飞跃。

英语的学*是狠抓句型及单词，因此，每天早上要求学生抽出一定时间开口读英语，锻炼口语能力，熟悉课文。在班级选出读音规范的科代表，由教师指导培养好科代表。而且教师经常巡视和抽测，使学生不知不觉巩固所学*的单词;要求每节课前学生听写十个单词，必须做到完全正确。既要学*新知识，又要巩固旧知识，得到两面照顾，不能松懈。保证所学的单词的正确记忆，为对话练*及书写打下基础，保证单词的正确性，提高听力的准确性。除抓句型及单词外，还要为学生区分易混、易错的地方，使学生心中有数，提高叛断应变能力。

新的课程改革，“五步三查”高效课堂教学模式在我校已经轰轰烈烈地进行了*两个月，这段时间以来，我们累并快乐着。暑假我们老师进行了体验式培训，开学对全体师生又进行了为期一周的“班级建设”培训。在我们进入新课堂的起步阶段，我们出现了种种问题：不能完成当天的教学任务，影响进度；学生课堂秩序混乱，动静不分明；学生展示不整齐等等。
正在我们满腹狐疑，踌躇不前时，中国教师报的专家们奔赴我们课改学校前来指点迷津，为我们指明了方向。
下面我来谈谈新课改的三大重要因素：
一、关于教师：
在新课改中，我们教师在逐步改变自己的教学观念、教师角色，成为一个“新教师”。教师不再单纯是一个知识的“二传手”，我们在扮演四个“者”：一是教育专业者；二是学校生态的建构者；三是学*和生长的开发者；四是信念的传播者。“新教师”还具备这“三观”：1、教育观：教育即“人学”，是“从儿童出发”的对学生的尊重、发现、认识、接纳和包容；2、教学观：以“学中心”来围绕学，设计学，服务学；3、学生观：相信学生，**学生，利用学生，发展学生。

二、关于学生：
“新学生”首先应身心健康，其次要敢于担当，再次是要具备一定的学*、实践、创新、合作等基本能力。学生的主体地位得到了充分体现，学生“自学，展示，反馈”。在课堂上学生的学*积极性被完全的调动起来。学生讨论激烈，展示欲强，都想把自己最好的一面展示出来。尤其令我感动的是，学困生的进步尤其大。在我们新课改的实施过程中我们不断反思，调整策略，学困生的行为规范是令我们最头疼的问题。我们给学困生布置了简单的背诵任务，有的同学在思想上有了负担，不愿意合作，提出让老师放弃他，最后是小组的同学给了他信心，在课堂展示上他书写整齐，正确率很高，同学不断地把掌声送给他。还有一位学生被称为“黑衣侠”性格极其内向，几乎不与同学交流，但在接到任务后，小组同学及时给予他帮助，鼓励他，最后他流利地背诵出例句。课堂上，掌声不断响起。新课改使学困生“铁树开花”，我每天都被这样的学生感动着。

三、关于课堂：
课堂作为一种“人本”教育思想的呈现，它有三个层次，比较低级的课堂可称为“知识课堂”，较高一点的叫“能力课堂”，最高的叫“智慧课堂”。实施新课改，我们的课堂正在向高层次发展。课堂首先是一个“场”，学*场、生活场、生命场，课堂是的学*与生活的交汇处。新课堂具有的共性：
1、学生的课。课堂以学生为主体，是“学中心”的课。是学生自主学*的课，包括：独学，对学、群学。
2、动静结合的课。敢于让学生动起来，让课堂实现“知识的超市，生命的狂欢”。在这样的课堂中体现出生命的活力，散发着人性的光芒，动静结合，该动时动，该静则静，做到动静相宜。
3、注重展示的课。好奇心、展示欲是儿童的两大天性。展示是激发学生的学*动力，调动学生学*热情的“金钥匙”在展示过程中强调展示者与学*者之间的互动合作，现场生成，我们的课堂活起来了。

2.进行课文整体把握的笔头训练。写段意、主题思想、缩写与仿写或将学过的课文改编后进行听、写或填写测验等形式。
3.进行新语言点的笔头训练。可采用释义、造句、合句或拆句、句型转换等形式。
在阅读课上，只要根据实际情况，选取其中最合适的某些方面进行写的训练即可，没有必要面面俱到。
六、泛读
任务：泛读主要作为阅读课的课后作业，在课下进行，但它却是整节阅读课的一个重要的、必不可少的组成部分。这一阶段的主要任务是通过学生自由阅读活动，进一步培养提高阅读速度和理解能力，掌握阅读方法和技巧，还可复*和掌握许多常用的词语和语法现象。
本学期我担任高三级68班英语教学。由于教学经验颇浅，我对教学工作不敢怠慢，认真学*，深入研究教法，虚心学*。经过一个学期的努力，获取了很多宝贵的教学经验。以下是我在本学期的教学情况。
一、备好课，备好学生，上好课。
教学就是教与学，两者是相互联系，不可分割的，有教者就必然有学者。学生是被教的主体。因此，了解和分析学生情况，有针对地教对教学成功与否至关重要。不懂得了解学生对教学的重要性，只是专心研究书本，教材，想方设法令课堂生动，学生易接受，这是很容易碰钉子的。在上课前要了解清楚学生的实际情况：
一方面，学生英语听，说的能力相对较弱，授课采用较深的全英教学，同学们较难适应。另一方面，同学比较沉静，中等生极少，尖子生几乎没有。因此，讲得太深，就照顾不到整体，我备课时也注意到这点，因此教学效果比较理想。从此可以看出，了解及分析学生实际情况，实事求是，具体问题具体分析，做到因材施教，对授课效果有直接影响。这就是教育学中提到的“备教法的同时要备学生”。这一理论在我的教学实践中得到了验证。
教学中，备课是一个必不可少，十分重要的环节，备学生，又要备教法。备课不充分或者备得不好，会严重影响课堂气氛和积极性，因此，每天我都花费大量的时间在备课之上，认认真真钻研教材和教法，不满意就不收工。虽然辛苦，但事实证明是值得的。
一堂准备充分的课，会令学生和老师都获益不浅。我认真研究了课文，找出了重点，难点，准备有针对性地讲。为使教学生动，不沉闷，我还为此准备了大量的教具，授课时就胸有成竹了。相反，我没有认真备课的时候，课堂气氛沉闷，教学效果不好，与此相比可见，认真备课对教学十分重要。特别是对英语这门学生不甚熟悉并感到困难的外语来说至关重要。
备课充分，能调动学生的积极性，上课效果就好。但同时又要有驾驭课堂的能力，因为学生在课堂上的一举一动都会直接影响课堂教学。因此上课一定要设法令学生投入，不让其分心，这就很讲究方法了。上课内容丰富，现实。教态自然，讲课生动，难易适中照顾全部，就自然能够吸引住学生。所以，老师每天都要有充足的精神，让学生感受到一种自然气氛。这样，授课就事半功倍。
二、激发学生学*兴趣。
英语是一门外语，对学生而言，既生疏又困难，在这样一种大环境之下，要教好英语，就要让学生喜爱英语，让他们对英语产生兴趣。否则学生对这门学科产生畏难情绪，不愿学，也无法学下去。为此，我采取了一些方法，就是尽量多讲一些关于英美国家的文化，生活故事，让他们更了解英语，更喜欢学*英语。因为只有英语水*提高，他们才能达到交异国笔友的目的，同时也可以提高同学们的英语写作能力，对成绩优秀的同学很有好处。因为英语的特殊情况，学生在不断学*中，会出现好差分化现象，差生面扩大，会严重影响班内的学*风气。因此，绝对不能忽视。为此，我制定了具体的计划和目标。对这部分同学进行有计划的辅导。
三、注重听、说、读、写全面发展。
英语是语言。因此，除了课堂效果之外，还需要让学生多读，多讲，多练。为此，在早读时，我坚持下班了解早读情况，发现问题及时纠正。课后发现学生作业问题也及时解决，及时讲清楚，让学生即时消化。另外，对部分不自觉的同学还采取强硬背诵等方式，提高他们的能力。期中考和期末考是考察每位同学在本学期的学*成果，因此应该予以重视。考试前进行有系统的复*，考试后进行学科总结。在中段考后的时间里，我把力量主要集中在差生辅导上。另外，还发现学生的综合能力不够强，所以以后的教学中要加强这方面的训练。让学生轻松学，容易掌握。而期考结果证明，适当辅导后进生对班的整体发展有很大帮助。
经过一个学期的努力，期末考就是一种考验。无论成绩高低，都体现了我在这学期的教学成果。我明白到这并不是最重要的，重要的是在本学期后如何自我提高，如何提高本班的英语水*。因此，无论怎样辛苦，我都会继续努力，多问，多想，多向别人学*，争取进步。
