地球是人类共同的家园。但这些年来，极端的气候引发出的自然灾害越来越多，越来越频繁，这就是我们赖以生存的地球妈妈给人类发出的警告。在这本书中，让我印象最深的是“洗衣水，涮拖把，淘米水，可浇花”，在日常居家的生活在中，水资源是可以循环利用的，面对日益枯竭的水资源，我们要珍惜水资源，合理利用水资源，不浪费，循环用，如洗衣服用过的水可以涮洗拖把，也可以冲厕所使用，淘米的水可以用来浇花···这些既可以珍惜水资源，也可以节约开支。
现在，不如让我教大家一个废物利用的“环保精美笔筒”吧，首先要准备报纸、纸巾筒（比较大的为佳）、坚固的纸皮、颜料、一瓶白乳胶。先把一张坚硬的纸皮剪成适合的圆形当成笔筒的底面，剪好后粘在纸巾筒的下面；用废报纸折在一起，折成个性形状，排起来粘在纸巾筒四周上（如粘一个小兔子，把报纸折成雨点形状，大的一边向下）剩余的可以做些花草；最后用颜料和画笔在上面涂上在丰富的色彩。这样，一个精美的笔筒就大功告成了。

科技越先进，提倡低碳节能就越难。我们生活在高科技的新时代，无法抵挡便利的诱惑。如果真要实现低碳生活方式，关键在于要把力气花在刀刃上。
我是一个敏感体质的女孩，患有严重的鼻炎。随时的风吹草动，甚至微弱的灰尘都会让我狂打喷嚏。每当季节交替时，我家就像是开纸巾铺似的，垃圾桶里填满了擦过鼻涕的白花花的纸巾。
我们用纸方便了，却牺牲了许多参天大树。一开始我对这些不会说话的大树没有一丝感觉，直到三年级的植树节，爸爸送我了一棵小树苗，在外公的帮助下，我把小树苗种在了我家的花园里，我每天都记得给它浇水。两年过去了，直到今天，它还差我半个头，主干还没有我的胳膊粗呢。我抽一张餐巾纸只需要一秒钟时间，小树却要花一个月或一个季度才能长出一张纸需要的木材。

为了地球的明天，请你节约用水，中国是缺水大国，好多地方人畜饮水十分困难。想想这些，你何忍心让清清流水白白地从你手下流走?所以当你刷牙时，请关上水龙头，等要清洗时再拧开;当你在身上涂抹肥皂时，请你关上淋浴龙头，等要冲洗时再打开。
为了地球的明天，不要再乱丢垃圾，不要捕猎野生动物;不要乱采滥开矿产资源，不要污染环境，不要破坏生态*衡;为了地球的明天，请用心回收废纸，尽量使用再生纸。你可明白，回收100千克废纸能生产800千克的再生纸，这意味着能够少砍17棵大树。过期的挂历纸能够用来包书皮，你用过的课本能够留给低年级的同学再用。请记住，即使是一张废纸，还能够再生两次。

今年寒假，老师布置了一样特殊的作业：过一过低碳生活，并写写自己的感受。
有些同学一听，丈二和尚摸不着头脑——什么是低碳生活呀？我想，不就是在生活中节约能源，节约水电，不污染环境嘛！是呀，我们只有一个地球，这能源如果不合理利用，将会被我们挥霍光，而地球这个大家园也会遭到严重破坏。哥本哈斯气候会议已向我们提出严重警告：全球变暖、南极冰川融化、海*面上升、导致各国被淹等。

老师教我们要学会低碳20××年5月1日至5月3日，于是我就自作主张，过3天没有电脑电视和没有一切娱乐的3天。过了才知道以前我们是多么浪费。我早早的起了床，刚刚准备开电视想起了自己的承诺，只好怀着依依不舍的心情关掉。仿佛没有娱乐生活变得没有快乐，反而越来越枯燥。除了做作业、看书就没事情干了。我每时每刻都在想:“能不能放弃！从前爸爸妈妈是怎么过日子的，怎么样才那是自己快乐起来。”哈哈......突然我想可不可以去玩水，想到的这个主意我心中欢乐起来。哎…妈妈突然在边上说珍惜水资源。老天啊，为什么事都没得干。我开始抱怨人类为什么要乱砍树木、设计出这么多对我们有害的东西。我望着窗外看见许许多多地同学在玩游戏，还有一些家庭妇女在聊天，一些老年人在洗衣裳。为什么他们有这么多事情干而我却没有呢？终于我有事干了，我替妈妈干家务:洗衣服、拖地、晾衣服我在辛苦中找到了快乐、找到欢乐，我还和小朋友玩游戏，和同学聊聊天。多么快乐，这三天是我最充实的几天。我一看水表，节省了我*时用水的，电费也节省了好多好多。我在低碳中找到了快乐，低碳不仅让我节省资源还让我从低碳中获得了我课内学不到的东西。

过了几天，我突然觉得单靠自己一个人的力量是不够的，的靠大家的力量，我必须告诉大家，动员大家，才能减少地球污染的危机啊！我立即告诉我爸妈也要环保，节约资源。想不到妈妈举双手赞成，爸爸却反对说：“资源以后科技发达了肯定会有办法的，再说家里又不缺这点钱。”我语重心长地对爸爸说：“爸爸，资源是不能再生的，我们要把更多的东西留给子孙后代，给他们一个美好的家园，对吗？”爸爸终于茅塞顿开。接着，爸爸妈妈都把这件事告诉了同事，同事又告诉家人，家人又告诉。
