Good afternoon everybody! It's my honor to speak here and I am very glad to share my topic with all of you. Today I'd like to talk about “my dream”. I do not just have one dream, in fact, I have three. They are: a healthy life, a happy family and to travel my great country.
I have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They are older than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! How do they do that!? My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why they can remain healthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. Perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. My grandmother once told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house”. I want to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.
Since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday I make the same wish. I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me with all their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.
I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty of our country. I want to see the miracles that made this country great! I want to go from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! I have a dream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends! If that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also. If I can fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then God can take me away. I would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spring back to dust.
Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing childlike appetite of what's next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, so long are you young.
When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at 80.
As food is to the body, so is learning to the mind. Our bodies grow and muscles develop with the intake of adequate nutritious food. Likewise, we should keep learning day by day to maintain our keen mental power and expand our intellectual capacity. Constant learning supplies us with inexhaustible fuel for driving us to sharpen our power of reasoning, ***ysis, and judgment. Learning incessantly is the surest way to keep pace with the times in the information age, and an infallible warrant of success in times of uncertainty.
Once learning stops, vegetation sets in. It is a common fallacy to regard school as the only workshop for the acquisition of knowledge. On the contrary, learning should be a never-ending process, from the cradle to the grave. With the world ever changing so fast, the cease from learning for just a few days will make a person lag behind. What's worse, the animalistic instinct dormant deep in our subconsciousness will come to life, weakening our will to pursue our noble ideal, sapping our determination to sweep away obstacles to our success and strangling our desire for the refinement of our character. Lack of learning will inevitably lead to the stagnation of the mind, or even worse, its fossilization, Therefore, to stay mentally young, we have to take learning as a lifelong career.

I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.
First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”
Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 2008 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.
Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?
I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”
For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2008 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others.

不！我永远也不会被打败，我也不能被打败，我一定！也必须成为大人物！
我不想一辈子都看别人的眼色行事，如果可以，我会报复那所有对我不在意。不尊重的人，让他们永远在我设置的阴影下面生活着。苟延残喘着，时时刻刻的处于紧张不安的环境里面．想跑也跑不了无助，可以跑又不敢跑的可怕，四周的空气把他们团团围住，压抑着！
我同样也不愿意自己想要的会失去．其实这个世界很残酷的！好比一个有钱的富家公子和一个普通的人去追一个女孩的道理是一样的．
名利权钱！早就是生存的待名词，一种活下去的机会和欲望罢了，我也许被自己的欲望追求那些欲望吧．可是，我如果不那么去做，我还可以怎么样．老天。朋友还是我们自己那无力的已经麻痹的双手吗！！
我没有莎士比亚那么＂人最卑微才最接*伟大＂的伟大；也没有泰戈尔那包容一切错误的善良．我唯独有的就是那追求红尘的动力。那种动力的根源还是来源我那一种很冲动的复仇心理。
其实，我除了当作家这一个理想以外，我还想做飞虎队的队员．我如果不可以在文学上发展达到报复的目的，我就会用我在飞虎队学*到的一切去进行报复，这也是我每天练*搏击和锻炼身体的原因．
也许，真的如胡丹凤说的那样：我感觉你也许会成为一个很有成就的人，但一定不是一个伟大的人。
我其实不在意什么伟大不伟大，我只要报仇，让命运屈服，也许这只是一种豪情壮志（也许也是异想天开吧）．可是，我还是会用尽全力（权利）去追逐的．任何的一切皆不可以成为我的绊脚石，只要有，我就会毫不由于的踢开，更加努力的追逐．
有时，我常常一个人来到家乡的桥上，看着流逝的水花，那好比是我的时间．我真的不愿意再沉没（沉默）里面继续的漂泊了．可是，我不愿意麻痹呀！我不愿意变的冷漠无情，可我别无选择！这个世界绝对不会，也不可能同情任何人的．当我躺在草地上的时候，微弱的夕阳似乎刺痛了我的皮肤，意图唤醒一个走向＂极端＂的人．我就起身把背对着它，不让阳光棉对我．此时，我想到了一句我说过的话：只要面对阳光，黑暗的影子就永远只会在你的身后．而我却没有那么去做，我在面对着黑暗，麻痹的双手体会的唯独是名利权钱给我的无边诱惑。放开的则是阳光，虽然它依旧温柔。
我也累了，我希望时间可以快点的流逝，好比那桥下的水。让我早早的看见我自己或许成功但很伤感的结局，或者
我好想把自己从仇恨里跋出来，可我已经累了，伤了，哭过了。淤泥（名利权钱）已经把我仅存的一点正气给湮灭了。

我是来自高一十八班的**，今天我**下演讲的题目是：《拼搏改变命运，励志照亮人生》 随着愉快而充实的寒假生活的结束，我们依依不舍地告别了父母，背上行装，重新回到了我们学*生活的校园，开始新学期的征程。新的学期又是一个崭新的开始，时至今日，已是开学的第一次升旗，在新的一年里，你是否有了新的打算，做好了充分的准备，迎接新的挑战？在这里，我想向大家提几点倡导：
一、制定目标，奋勇前行
古人云：“凡事预则立，不预则废。”战神拿破仑也曾经说过：“所有的事都要有统一和决断，因此，成功首先不是站在自信的一方，而站在有计划的一方。” 每个人的人生之旅皆是从选定方向开始，没有方向的帆永远是逆风，没有方向的人生不过是在不停地绕圈子。西撒哈拉沙漠中的旅游胜地——比赛尔，在很久以前，是一个只能进、不能出的贫瘠之地。在一望无际的沙漠里，一个人如果凭着感觉往前走，他只会走出许多大小不一的圆圈。后来，一位青年在北斗星的指引下，成功地走到了大漠边缘。这位青年成了比赛尔的开拓者，他的铜像被竖在小城的中央，铜像的底座上刻有一行字：新生活是从选定方向开始的。
同学们，新学期开始了，你的方向选定了吗？你的计划是什么？你的目标又是什么？只有有了计划与目标，我们才能做到合理地安排时间，合理地分配精力；我们才能在接下来的征程中有的放矢，事半功倍，才能让我们的学*变得有趣而高效。
“有什么样的目标就有什么样的人生。”这话出自世界顶尖潜能大师安东尼·罗宾之口，但仅仅有了方向还不够，还要沿着这个方向坚定不移地走下去。
二、坚定信念，磨练意志
有这样一种力量，它可以使人在黑暗中不停止摸索，在失败中不放弃奋斗，在挫折中不忘却追求。在它面前，天大的困难微不足道，无边的艰险不足为奇。这种力量，就叫信念。 拥有积极思想的人，对任何事都抱着乐观的态度，即使遇上挫折，积极者也会认为那是成功前的必经考验。只要生命不息就要坚持到底，我们不是为了失败才来到这个世界上的。
这个世界不愿意听见失败者的哭泣、埋怨者的牢骚，在我们的字典里没有“不可能”、“没希望”、“失败”与“放弃”这样消极的字眼。我们要让每天的奋斗像冲洗高山雨露，像铸就金字塔的砖木，我们要一步一个脚印、一步一个台阶地建造成功的殿堂、迈向辉煌的顶点。我们相信滴水穿石的道理，我相信所有成功的法则，每一次的失败都是下一个成功的.开始，每一次的皱眉都为下一次舒展的笑容。同学们，只要生命不息，就要坚持到底！ 新学期、新面貌、新征程，此时此刻，我们每个人的身上都洋溢着青春的活力，每个人的心中都充满着奋进的激情。

一。”教师这种特殊的职业就决定了每一位教师都要成为"读书人"，这是一种召唤，一种义务，也是一种责任。我们要做一名合格的人民教师，就要顺应时代的发展，通过各种的渠道来充实自己，而读书是最好的方法之一。
我喜欢《爱心与教育》这本书，因为它像一面镜子，真诚地表述着教师对教育事业的热爱、忠诚与执着。但是给我印象最深的就是李镇西老师培养“优生”的六大方法：
一是引导“优生”树立志向。他常通过谈心，让“优生”意识到，成绩比别人好，就意味着将来比别人多一份责任，而现在起就应该比别人多一份努力。为了达到这一目标，他经常给“优生”推荐有关伟人名人的传记读物，使“优生”把自己放在一个更广阔的历史空间和时代背景中认识自己的使命。二是帮助“优生”认识自己。帮助他们超越某些具体的考试分数和名次，通过与其他杰出的少年英才比较，通过对自己求学过程中成功的经验与失败的教训的冷静分析，通过各种具体的课内外实践活动??正确全面地认识自己，进而有针对性地发展自己。三是教育“优生”保持童心。让“优生”面对分数和荣誉学会淡然处之和互相谦让，以培养自己豁达而淡泊的心境。四是激励“优生”超越自我。一是尽可能多地让他们在各个方面实践，以发现并发展自己以前没有意识到的潜质；二是鼓励他们在日常一点一滴的小事中战胜自我；甚至教育者可以有意识设置一些难题去“折磨”他们，让他们在一次次自己与自己“过不去”的过程中，体

and it wasn't until i joined a competitive sporting event that i learned a most important lesson – we must place our mind in harmony with the natural order of things to be successful.
Let me tell you what happened.
I decided to take part in an international marathon in my hometown last year.
being an ambitious person, i hoped to finish it within 5 hours, accompanied by my friend with whom i had trained.
The big day finally arrived.
“ready…set…bang” and we were off.
At first, we kept a rapid pace and ran nonstop.
at this pace, we finished the first 20 kilometers in 2 hours and i thought running a marathon was a piece of cake.
then my running mate began to slow down.
i urged him to keep running at the same pace but he said no, he wanted to conserve his energy.
i felt i had partnered with the wrong person, therefore, i sprinted on and left him behind in the dust.
A few kilometers later, i began to understand his strategy as my pace slowed to a jog then a walk.
after that i was incapable of moving another step.
i was humiliated as more and more people ran passed me.”
more than once i thought “maybe i should quit.
i started to doubt my ability to finish this race.
At this moment, my running mate caught up with me and slapped me on the back.
“follow me,” he shouted.
he had balanced his marathon pace and was encouraged me to do the same.
for the rest of this grueling contest, we walked, jogged, ran a few miles, and walked again.
slowly, painfully but hopefully this time, we established the most suitable pace within the natural flow of our physical capabilities.

it is the interaction of these complementary extremes that produces harmony, as laozi said, extremes meet.
since the marathon, this notion of two opposite forces working together has been my running partner, so to speak.

having a view on these great men in the history of hunmanbeing,they all made full use of their youth time ,to do things that are useful to society,to the whole mankind,and as a cosquence ,they are remembered by later
generations,admired by everyone.so do something in the time of young,although you may not get achievements as these greatmen did ,though not for the whole word,just for youeself,for those around!
the young is just like blooming flowers,they are so beautiful when blooming,they make people feel happy,but with time passing by,after they withers ,moet people think they are ugly.and so it is the same with young,we are enthusiastic when we are young,then we may lose our passion when getting older and older.so we must treasure it ,don't let the limitted time pass by ,leaving nothing of significance.

My name is XX, and we are pleased to be able to discuss the pursuit of excellence, dedication youth, this topic, I am going to talk about today is "willing to sacrifice, the fire ignited youth."
Let the fire burn eternal youth, so that life lightning across the horizon, with all the enthusiasm in exchange for time, there is no end to the dream of youth! I really appreciate the "Agni youth," these words inside, and has been encouraging with its own study, work and life. I think that youth should be burned, give off light only value! Burning of one's life may also be corrupt, in that case, I do not want to corrupt, not corrupt, I would like to burn up! Friends present here! You like it?
Youth is our most beautiful season of life, she is breeding in early spring of life, demonstrating a warm summer, with autumn's master real hidden, which makes clear the hope of winter, full of poetic passion and not a lack of hard work, fashion, romantic and full of the hard struggle. When a person's youth integrate into an era, a career, so youth will not go away, and this will certainly cause in the years of experience in the reflection of bright light.
First I want to ask you some questions： 1、 Do you know what is youth?
2、 How do you master your youth? Youth Youth is not a time of life， it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks ， red lips and supple knees， it is a matter of the emotions ： it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life . Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite ， for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years wrinkle the skin ， but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry ， fear ， self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust . Whether 60 of 16 ， there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders， the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station ： so long as it receives messages of beauty ， hope ，cheer， courage and power from men and from the infinite， so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down ， and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism， then you are grown old ，even at 20 ， but as long as your aerials are up ，to catch waves of optimism ， there is hope you may die young at 80. Thank you!
