为了丰富同学们的课余生活以及激发大家对英语的学*兴趣，我系学*部于20xx年4月29日举办了英语演讲比赛，活动地点定于4107教室晚七点。
一、活动过程与效果
比赛共由来自大一的5位选手以及大二英语系的四位学姐评委组成。比赛中选手们依次进行了自己的演讲。
比赛共分为两轮，第一轮分为两个小版块，包括自我介绍和自己准备的小短文朗读，这一轮比赛满分为5分，每一位选手-演讲结束后都会有评委进行打分（评分制度：去掉最高分和最低分取中间的*均值），所有选手都进行过一轮后会有五分钟的休息时间，然后进行第二轮比赛，第二轮比赛满分为10分，选手要进行主题演讲(我们已经提前把演讲题目告知给给参赛选手)，然后由评为进行打分。所有的打分结束后统计出前三名，最终由数字媒体专业的谢正亚，王燕，以及影动的李冯同学分别获得前三名的佳绩。
本次的演讲大体上来说不是很成功，虽然大家也为比赛准备了，但是不难看出来由于时间原因还是没有准备的很充足。
二、活动中出现的问题
1）活动通知以及举办时间比较紧，整个演讲比赛显得准备不够充分。
2）部分同学不够重视这次比赛，甚至连比赛的制度都不知道，制度在比赛之前已经给各位选手看过。
3）比赛当天院里有职业规划大赛，在时间上我们处于劣势，很多同学也是因为这个原因没有前来观看我们的比赛，导致比赛很冷清。
三、活动经验总结
这次活动我们大家还是有很大收获的，英语就在我们的日常生活中，用第二种语言进行交流我们会发现更多的乐趣，也丰富的大家的课余时间。另外，我们的活动应该做到分工明确且考虑到各种问题以及小细节等，保证每一个小点都不会出错，并且要有良好的心理素质面对突发事件，比如有选手没来参赛，迟到等等。最重要的一点，不要和其他活动的时间有冲突，起码要保证自己的`活动有一定的观众。

一、赛前准备
1、准备策划，向团委申办活动。
2、向多媒体管理中心申请教室。
3、张贴宣传海报或组织各班学*委员对赛事做好前期宣传。
4、邀请院学生处、院团委老师作为嘉宾（或评委）。
5、邀请英语教研室老师做评委。
6、采集参赛选手信息并制作ppt课件。

比赛规则：采用取*均分法从所有参赛选手中选取25人进入复赛

比赛规则：采用取*均分法从进入复赛的25名参赛选手中选取12人进入决赛
3、 决赛
比赛时间：3月12日
比赛地点：j3-101
比赛评委：英语教研室老师7人、院团委老师1人
比赛规则：采用取*均分法从进入决赛的10人中评出一、二、三等奖以及优秀奖（一等奖一名、二等奖二名、三等奖三名、优秀奖四名），并颁发奖杯和证书。
比赛要求：1.各参赛选手需组织至少10人的亲友团进行助威加油。
2.对比赛会场进行必要的装饰。
三、赛后工作
1、召开10级负责人会议，对比赛进行总结与反思，为以后工作积累经验。
2、准备活动通讯稿。
3、准备活动总结。

5、比赛过程：
1主题演讲环节：选手依据比赛规定的主题进行不低于3分钟不长于5分钟的演讲
2看图发挥环节：选手根据图中的信息，用自己的语言加以说明，时间不超过2分钟
3老师提问环节：评委老师根据选手前两个环节的`参赛内容或所表现出的问题进行提问，对选手的整体水*有一个全面认知，并依据选手表现给出本环节的得分，成绩记入总成绩进行最终评比。
4、评委老师对总体和参赛选手的表现进行点评。
5、主持人宣布比赛成绩和名次 。
6、由学生处、团委、英语教研室老师为获奖选手颁奖。
7、参赛选手与老师、english show10级负责人合影 。
8、主持人宣布活动结束 。
9、按照统一安排，到场人员依次退场。

附表三 演讲比赛规则
1、 参赛选手出场顺序按抽签决定，从小号到大号依次参加比赛。
2、 成绩计算：评委成绩中去掉一个最高分和一个最低分后的*均分为参赛选手的最终成绩。12
3、 参赛选手的最终成绩，从高分到低分依次排列名次，确定获奖等次。

按演讲内容、语言表达、流利程度、演讲技巧、仪表形象、时间把握、综合印象等七部分进行评分，满分为100分。
演讲内容：15分。紧扣主题、充实生动、积极向上。
语言表达：20分。语言规范，口齿清楚。发音标准，语调自然。
流利程度：15分。脱稿演讲，口语自然流畅。
演讲技巧：20分。表达生动，体态语言和表演技巧运用贴切。
仪表形象：10分。衣着整洁得体，仪表大方。
时间把握：10分。时间把握准确到位，时间控制在4-6分钟。
综合印象：10分。由评委根据演讲选手的临场表现作出整体评价。

为了赶上课改的步伐，我利用课余时间学*了《英语课程标准》，深入了解它的基本理念。其中强**学要面向全体学生，注重素质教育，特别强调要关注每个学生的情感，激发他们的兴趣，帮助他们建立学*的成就感和自信心。所以在教学中，我始终以学生为中心，发挥他们的主体作用，采用以学生为中心的教学思路，充分考虑学生的现有基础，兴趣爱好，学*风格等差异。让学生体验和积极参与，建构知识，形成积极的态度，促进语言实际运用能力的提高。

Over three years passed by, the first day of new semester was coming finally. As a new teacher of the school, I had something in common with my students, who were new faces. At that time, I began to introduce myself to them. So interested in me, they all listened to me with full heart. Of course I had chance to know something about them. It's not hard to imagine how worried their parents were! But they had no way to communicate with them, nor find them. As class teacher, there was no time. I decided quickly to help the holpless parents. And I tried to contact with their classmates to make sure what they had talked about the going before. Then I spent the whole night in looking for them with their parents in the city. After a long time searching, we found the girls in WangSheng. When they saw me, their class teacher, they cried loudly and sadly. Everything was OK after they told me their complaints to parents. At that time, I knew,

Thirdly, to be a teacher we need to know what responsibility is. As everyone knows, the Chinese boy, Hong Zhanhui is one of the man who moves China. He began to rear his little sister since he was 13, the age at which we enjoy mother'arms. Without parents, he has to earn enough money for their life while he is studying at the same time. Everyday, carrying his sister on his back, he went to school through miles path. When somebody asked him why he should kept doing this. He replied briefly:" This is my responsibility! " From his story, we know that responsibility is not an easy thing. Is only what Hong Zhanhui done can be called responsibility? Of course no. Everyone has his responsibility and responsibility exists everywhere in everyone's daily life especially we teachers'.
So, what is responsibility? From my point of view, responsibility is accepting what you are facing -- and not complaining your students. Responsibility is holding your students' hands and reminding them to watch both ways before crossing their road. When there is something difficult in front of students, responsibility is helping them over them. When your students are in a trouble, responsibility is being there on time to help and guide them -- even if that means you will miss your favorite things.
Just imagine the world without responsibility. Your students are the waiting flowers. Tomorrow, whatever they will be, it all depends on their hard working and the teachers' love. Wonderful world, isn't it? Responsibility is not a burden if you are willing to shoulder it. If you travel from the outside to Ya’an along a wide and clean road, you will arrive at a beautiful place which only can appear in your dream, But now , I will tell you that you are not dreaming. This beautiful place named“TianQuan”—my hometown, it stands near the Qingyi river at the foot of Erlang mountain, It is a small city covered by green and it’s famous for the beautiful scenery, excellent climate and long history.
In the past, it was poor. People who once came here did not want to come again ，why?The streets were full of rubbishes and the buildings were old and small，when there were strong winds the buildings were shaking as if they wanted to say “Hello”to you.
But today，with the lead of our government, many changes have taken place，life is much better than before.
First, flowing on modern agriculture, theader guide peasants to use advanced technology to develop agriculture.Such as ,keeping chickens in cages, planting fruit trees. As a result, the economy developed reasonably.
Tourism is another way to develop economy .You know that there are many interesting places in Tianquan. If you come to visit these places, the people there will offer the best for you and give you a lot of pleasure. The most famous one is “Laba He”，
There, the air is so clear and you can see trees and mountains everywhere some said：“In summer it is green like a fountain，and in winter it is white like a white jade, so it attracts thousands of towns from all over the world ”.
Finally，the leaders pay much attention to the education，They have trained more and more skilled person. Most of then come back to our hometown and devote all their loves to our hometown.
In order to build our hometown into a land of economic prosperity, political stability and beautiful landscape. I believe in the 50—percent theory. Half the time things are better thannormal；the other half，they are worse. I believe life is a pendulum swing. Ittakes time and experience to understand what normal is，and that gives me theperspective to deal with the surprises of the future.
Lets benchmark the parameters：Yes，I will die. Ive dealt with the deathsof both parents，a best friend，a beloved boss and cherished pets. Some of thesedeaths have been violent，before my eyes，or slow and agonizing. Bad stuff，andit belongs at the bottom of the scale.
Then there are those high points：romance and marriage to the right person；having a child and doing those Dad things like coaching my sons baseball team，paddling around the creek in the boat while hes swimming with the dogs，discovering his compassion so deep it manifests even in his kindness to snails，his imagination so vivid he builds a spaceship from a scattered pile ofLegos.
But there is a vast meadow of life in the middle，where the bad and thegood flip—flop acrobatically. This is what convinces me to believe in the50—percent theory.
One spring I planted corn too early in a bottomland so flood—prone thatneighbors laughed. I felt chagrined at the wasted effort. Summer turned brutal—— the worst heat wave and drought in my lifetime. The air—conditioner died，thewell went dry，the marriage ended，the job lost，the money gone. I was livinglyrics from a country tune —— music I loathed. Only a surging Kansas City Royalsteam，bound for their first World Series，buoyed my spirits.
Looking back on that horrible summer，I soon understood that all succeedinggood things merely offset the bad. Worse than normal wouldnt last long. I amowed and savor the halcyon times. that morning, i rode my bike to school happily as usual. on my way to the
classroom, i saw some of my classmates. but when they saw me, they rushed away. that made me confused. because they would talk to me or play jokes on me before. but it was strange today.
when i came into the classroom, i found the atmosphere was quite strange.
everybody looked at me and laughed loudly. suddenly they all said in good order,“happy birthday to you!” then they began to sing “happy birthday to you——” that made me moved. i never told anyone about my birthday, how did they know? i believed they must have done a lot of things. at that moment, i found nothing to say but thanks instead!
after school, a thing coming as a surprise happened on me on my way back home. when i was riding suddenly a crowed of people rushed out to stopped my bike.i recogized them at once. they were my senior classmates. they all comlained to me,“why don't you tell us about your birthday? don't you fear that we will let you stand treat? this time you owe us.” then each of them gave a gift and a card with best wishes to me. i was dee* moved again. i suggested having a dinner together. but they all refused because of the time. then they left me saying we would ask you to pay us another day!
