  A comparison of ERS and Worldwide Relocation

  Introduction

  The aim of this report is to assess which of the two companies, ERS or Worldwide Relocation would be the most suitable for the relocation of Fenway employees and their families from Seattle to Dublin.

  Findings

  Both ERS or Worldwide Relocation offer an accommodation and school search services. Both companies can organize visas and work permits. In addition to these basic services, ERS also offers removal and shipping assistance whereas Worldwide Relocation offers an integration programme and assistance with partner employment. The latter is a key requirement for Fenway.

  Conclusion

  It was concluded that both companies go some way to fulfilling Fenway’s needs, but neither meets all its needs.

  Recommendation

  We would recommend that Worldwide Relocations to be chosen to facilitate the relocation process as its services match Fenway’s requirements more closely than ERS’ do.

  Waste reduction

  There was an increase in non-hazardous waste three years ago, this was due to by-products resulting from the new processing system. Although the amount has fallen steadily since then it seems unlikely that next year’s target level will be achieved. In contrast, the introduction of the new waste processing system enabled us to reduce hazardous waste to target levels three years ago.

  Energy efficiency

  Energy consumption has decreased steadily and it seems likely that target levels will be reached by next year.

  Conclusion

  In conclusion, the measures taken have led to significant environmental improvements. It is expected that most targets will be achieved or exceeded by next year.

  在今年的十二月份我们终于迎来了我们期盼已久的商务谈判实训课程。这种期盼也许是想对自己做一个测试也可能是想感受自己穿上职装的那种气氛,但总之是期盼加激动。

  老师让我们进行模拟谈判是为了锻炼我们对知识掌握的灵活程度和实际运用能力,是对我们全方面的一个测试,作为在校大学生我们应该感谢老师给我们的这次实战机会,让我们拥有了实战的经历和一点点的经验,是我们懂得了姿势和实际转化。

  我们小组是“诺尔斯服装有限公司”是专门从事为其他公司制作职装的公司,本小组在谈判中虽然变现不尽人意,但是还是得到了一定的收获。从谈判前人员的分工,收集相应的资料,自定谈判规划,模拟谈判的排练都锻炼了我们组各个成员的动手能力、沟通能力、组织能力等,同时也增进了我们同学之间的友谊,也拉*了老师和同学之间的距离。

  谈判的关键是人。一个项目的好坏除了其本质属性以外,基本都是由谈判人员的操作来评定和掌控的,因此,谈判人员的选择至关重要。谈判人员的性格决定了其谈判风格,首*谈判官的风格奠定了谈判小组的基调,在谈判过程中,言语腔调,表情神态,动作,技巧等细节都能影响整场谈判的趋势,只有拥有谈判主控话语权,在谈判中占有优势的团队,才能使谈判结果趋向期望值,取得成功。选对人,

  在谈判前两周我们寻找到了伙伴成立了公司,后来又确立了谈判对象,对两周后的谈判可谓是有充足的准备时间。凡事开头难,在第一场同学进行谈判时大家都非常激动也全部认真细心的观察,一切事物只要有好的开端后面的就会比前面的更好,所以开端很重要。第一组谈判过后老师先让大家做了点评,我们大家都纷纷发表自己意见,老师后来也做了点评,毕竟是第一组,他们的不到之处也是我们应注意的事项。

  原本我们组会有更多时间去准备,但是由于考试的原因我们只有提前,在谈判前我们做了多次模拟,如果说我们在谈判桌上的是一场谈判,那么在私下我们的准备与模拟更是一种很好的谈判。我们两组在开始谈判前发生很多

  冲突,都是通过我们的努力的得到了解决,这个解决的过程更是我们对课本知识的运用。在开始前的一个小时我们还对谈判的内容熟悉了一边,也许是希望太高了,最后的结果并不是我们想要得到的,这就是理想与现实的差距吧。

  我们小组由:主谈、主谈助理、财务部经理、技术部经理、和法律顾问五人组成,在谈判前我们做了喝好的分工,但是到了谈判桌上却一切都变了。在看别人谈判是我们感觉很随意,但到自己亲身经历时却不知所措、无从说起,这就是所谓的眼高手低。我们到了谈判桌上开始就乱了阵脚,本来已经模拟好的谈判内容却无从说起,开始就昏了头,我们在谈判中感觉大家都是在踢球,踢来踢去却踢不到正题上,再后来我们慢慢适应了那种气氛,对方承立纺织有限公司作为主

  方由他们开始进入主题,他们开始向我们踢球,我身为客方主谈却为发挥主谈的作用。当对方向我们询问问题时却往往有我的助理去回答。而对方和我方都犯了一个大错误,就是对自己公司和产品了解太少,对一些专业知识几乎是一点不懂,只知皮毛,根本不符合实际情况。在谈判中良好的应变能力是最重要的,具有良好的应变能力喝好的策略再加上默契的配合才是合格的谈判队伍。而我们在谈判中应变能力太差,谈判策略不能很好的运用,再加上配合不默契,所以这次谈判注定是失败。我方在谈判中和对方一直围绕这价格在讨论,而忽略了其他的问题,在价格僵持不下时我方有没有很好的转移对方的观点。我方在后来犯了兵家大忌,内部出现了分歧,没有统一口径,我作为座谈竟没有意识到这个问题,我们价格是由财务经理一人制定,但是当她报出价格时我却又报出了一个不一样的价格,更可笑的是对方竟没有抓住我们这个弱点进行攻击。我们的这次谈判算是糟糕到了极点,失败已经是在所难免,虽然最后签订了合同,但是效果却不是我们想要的。

  谈判细节决定谈判成败。在谈判桌上什么该说,要怎么说,什么事情是可以拍板,什么时候可以妥协,甚至到穿着,会场布置,翻译人员的邀请等等都是很细节性考虑的问题,比如在谈判时的语气语速,说坚决了表示该问题不能松口,说模糊了表示对方在躲避该问题,语调低了表示准备不充足,语调响了表示他们在该问题上没有回旋的余地,当然,这些都是要在谈判的氛围中去体会的,有时表达错一个意思将会导致本场谈判失败。不论是谈判,做事也应该注重细节。

  在这次谈判中我学到了很多,但还是有很多的不足,最主要的是考虑问题不全面,但更多的没有体会到谈判人员的处境,思维不够发散,因此需要更多的实践体会,将这些实战性的东西消化于实际;再者,要细心观察生活,很多东西都是生活中我们没有注意到细节,很重要但却很容易忽视;学*是循序渐进的过程,重在积累,而不是填鸭式的学*。

  总之,在商务谈判中要善于灵活运用各种谈判策略和掌握谈判的相关方法和原则就会最大限度的达到谈判有利于自己的目标,减少成本和损失。获得商务谈判的成功。而在商务谈判中,我们为了获得成功,我们必须确定一致的`谈判态度、充分了解谈判的对手、准备多套谈判方案、建立融洽的谈判气氛、设定好谈判的禁区、语言表述简练、控制谈判局势、利用让步式进攻、而更应该记得的是:谈判是用耳朵取胜,而不是嘴巴,所以我们在谈判中一定要注意倾听。唯有做到以上,我们才能在谈判中取得双赢。但是我们也要做到以下几点:

  1、在谈判中要把人与问题分开。谈判是人与人打交道,与我们谈判的对方是人,不是问题,处理好人的问题,把人与问题在一定程度上客观的分开,就有利于问题的解决。

  2、言而有信,将心比心。谈判者要说话算数,决不食言,但言而有信,将心比心也必须讲分寸,讲原则,该讲明的讲明,该坚持的坚持,该回避经过一周的商务谈判实训,使我对谈判的整个流程有了更进一步的了解.

  经过这次谈判使我们对自身优缺点有了更深的了解,及时发现问题解决问题,让我们今后中更注重语言表达能力、观察注意力、判断力、应变能力、决策能力,让我们在人生的谈判过程中,永立于不败之地。这次模拟谈判是我们学到了很多书本上没办法学到的东西,比如

  1、要 以集体利益为重,团体作战,不论什么决定,没有团队的共识与合作,一个人的能力很难完成。首先要取得队友的支持,倾听并考虑其他队友的意见。不要擅自做主。

  2、在谈判中要采取灵活的谈判方式。

  3、采用横向谈判方式,一个问题谈不下来,就应想尽一切办法,转移话题,洽谈其他方面的问题,必要时采取停止谈判。

  4、明白双赢不是双方*均得利,而是各取所需。双赢的条件是:各自有对方需要或必要的东西。

  在国际商务买卖的过程主要分为询盘、发盘、还盘、接受四个环节,其过程中最重要的便是商务信函的书写,我们这次实训中主要对发盘的过程进行了练*。在老师的帮助下对发盘的发虚盘、发实盘的信函实例进行分析与解读和翻译,并对一些内容进行书写练*,使我们掌握了英文信函的书写方式、提升了书写技巧。

  (三)商务谈判

  在看完有关商务谈判的视频后,在老师的指导下,我们根据视频中的谈判,对其谈判的案例进行分析。全面了解了谈判的类型、谈判时的重要因素、谈判时注意的问题及谈判时的信息搜索。谈判对于商务进行是不可缺少的部分,充分了解谈判的过程和技巧便更一步的促进了合作关系的达成。

  (四)进出口贸易信函的分析和书写

  根据多篇的进出口贸易信函的阅读及分析。对信函的英汉互译,这不仅对我们英语知识的提高,而且认识了进出口贸易信函书写的方式,在我们多次的练*中提升了写作技巧,更为以后的工作节约了时间。

  (五)商务报告

  既有收获也有遗憾。通过这次实*,加深了我对商务英语的基本知识的理解,丰富了实际操作知识,认识到要学好商务英语既要注重理论知识的学*,更重要的是要把实践与理论两者紧密相结合。

  在今年的十二月份我们终于迎来了我们期盼已久的商务谈判实训课程。这种期盼也许是想对自己做一个测试也可能是想感受自己穿上职装的那种气氛,但总之是期盼加激动。

  老师让我们进行模拟谈判是为了锻炼我们对知识掌握的灵活程度和实际运用能力,是对我们全方面的一个测试,作为在校大学生我们应该感谢老师给我们的这次实战机会,让我们拥有了实战的经历和一点点的经验,是我们懂得了姿势和实际转化。

  我们小组是“诺尔斯服装有限公司”是专门从事为其他公司制作职装的公司,本小组在谈判中虽然变现不尽人意,但是还是得到了一定的收获。从谈判前人员的分工,收集相应的资料,自定谈判规划,模拟谈判的排练都锻炼了我们组各个成员的动手能力、沟通能力、组织能力等,同时也增进了我们同学之间的友谊,也拉*了老师和同学之间的距离。

  谈判的关键是人。一个项目的好坏除了其本质属性以外,基本都是由谈判人员的操作来评定和掌控的,因此,谈判人员的选择至关重要。谈判人员的性格决定了其谈判风格,首*谈判官的风格奠定了谈判小组的基调,在谈判过程中,言语腔调,表情神态,动作,技巧等细节都能影响整场谈判的趋势,只有拥有谈判主控话语权,在谈判中占有优势的团队,才能使谈判结果趋向期望值,取得成功。选对人,

  才能做对事。

  在谈判前两周我们寻找到了伙伴成立了公司,后来又确立了谈判对象,对两周后的谈判可谓是有充足的准备时间。凡事开头难,在第一场同学进行谈判时大家都非常激动也全部认真细心的观察,一切事物只要有好的开端后面的就会比前面的更好,所以开端很重要。第一组谈判过后老师先让大家做了点评,我们大家都纷纷发表自己意见,老师后来也做了点评,毕竟是第一组,他们的不到之处也是我们应注意的事项。

  原本我们组会有更多时间去准备,但是由于考试的原因我们只有提前,在谈判前我们做了多次模拟,如果说我们在谈判桌上的是一场谈判,那么在私下我们的准备与模拟更是一种很好的谈判。我们两组在开始谈判前发生很多

  冲突,都是通过我们的努力的得到了解决,这个解决的过程更是我们对课本知识的运用。在开始前的一个小时我们还对谈判的内容熟悉了一边,也许是希望太高了,最后的结果并不是我们想要得到的,这就是理想与现实的差距吧。

  我们小组由:主谈、主谈助理、财务部经理、技术部经理、和法律顾问五人组成,在谈判前我们做了喝好的分工,但是到了谈判桌上却一切都变了。在看别人谈判是我们感觉很随意,但到自己亲身经历时却不知所措、无从说起,这就是所谓的眼高手低。我们到了谈判桌上开始就乱了阵脚,本来已经模拟好的谈判内容却无从说起,开始就昏了头,我们在谈判中感觉大家都是在踢球,踢来踢去却踢不到正题上,再后来我们慢慢适应了那种气氛,对方承立纺织有限公司作为主

  方由他们开始进入主题,他们开始向我们踢球,我身为客方主谈却为发挥主谈的作用。当对方向我们询问问题时却往往有我的助理去回答。而对方和我方都犯了一个大错误,就是对自己公司和产品了解太少,对一些专业知识几乎是一点不懂,只知皮毛,根本不符合实际情况。在谈判中良好的应变能力是最重要的,具有良好的应变能力喝好的策略再加上默契的配合才是合格的谈判队伍。而我们在谈判中应变能力太差,谈判策略不能很好的运用,再加上配合不默契,所以这次谈判注定是失败。我方在谈判中和对方一直围绕这价格在讨论,而忽略了其他的问题,在价格僵持不下时我方有没有很好的转移对方的观点。我方在后来犯了兵家大忌,内部出现了分歧,没有统一口径,我作为座谈竟没有意识到这个问题,我们价格是由财务经理一人制定,但是当她报出价格时我却又报出了一个不一样的价格,更可笑的是对方竟没有抓住我们这个弱点进行攻击。我们的这次谈判算是糟糕到了极点,失败已经是在所难免,虽然最后签订了合同,但是效果却不是我们想要的。

  谈判细节决定谈判成败。在谈判桌上什么该说,要怎么说,什么事情是可以拍板,什么时候可以妥协,甚至到穿着,会场布置,翻译人员的邀请等等都是很细节性考虑的问题,比如在谈判时的语气语速,说坚决了表示该问题不能松口,说模糊了表示对方在躲避该问题,语调低了表示准备不充足,语调响了表示他们在该问题上没有回旋的余地,当然,这些都是要在谈判的氛围中去体会的,有时表达错一个意思将会导致本场谈判失败。不论是谈判,做事也应该注重细节。

  在这次谈判中我学到了很多,但还是有很多的不足,最主要的是考虑问题不全面,但更多的没有体会到谈判人员的处境,思维不够发散,因此需要更多的实践体会,将这些实战性的东西消化于实际;再者,要细心观察生活,很多东西都是生活中我们没有注意到细节,很重要但却很容易忽视;学*是循序渐进的过程,重在积累,而不是填鸭式的学*。

  总之,在商务谈判中要善于灵活运用各种谈判策略和掌握谈判的相关方法和原则就会最大限度的达到谈判有利于自己的目标,减少成本和损失。获得商务谈判的成功。而在商务谈判中,我们为了获得成功,我们必须确定一致的谈判态度、充分了解谈判的对手、准备多套谈判方案、建立融洽的谈判气氛、设定好谈判的禁区、语言表述简练、控制谈判局势、利用让步式进攻、而更应该记得的是:谈判是用耳朵取胜,而不是嘴巴,所以我们在谈判中一定要注意倾听。唯有做到以上,我们才能在谈判中取得双赢。但是我们也要做到以下几点:

  1、在谈判中要把人与问题分开。谈判是人与人打交道,与我们谈判的对方是人,不是问题,处理好人的问题,把人与问题在一定程度上客观的分开,就有利于问题的解决。

  2、言而有信,将心比心。谈判者要说话算数,决不食言,但言而有信,将心比心也必须讲分寸,讲原则,该讲明的讲明,该坚持的坚持,该回避经过一周的商务谈判实训,使我对谈判的整个流程有了更进一步的了解.

  经过这次谈判使我们对自身优缺点有了更深的了解,及时发现问题解决问题,让我们今后中更注重语言表达能力、观察注意力、判断力、应变能力、决策能力,让我们在人生的谈判过程中,永立于不败之地。这次模拟谈判是我们学到了很多书本上没办法学到的东西,比如

  1、要 以集体利益为重,团体作战,不论什么决定,没有团队的共识与合作,一个人的能力很难完成。首先要取得队友的支持,倾听并考虑其他队友的意见。不要擅自做主。

  2、在谈判中要采取灵活的谈判方式。

  3、采用横向谈判方式,一个问题谈不下来,就应想尽一切办法,转移话题,洽谈其他方面的问题,必要时采取停止谈判。

  4、明白双赢不是双方*均得利,而是各取所需。双赢的条件是:各自有对方需要或必要的东西。
