youth
youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.
years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of whats next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heart and my heart theres a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. thank you!

Ten years ago few people had mobile now mobile phones have become rather common , even high school students may have one . But is that a good thing ? We wondered . As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future.

首先，我是很赞同作者的想法，任何人都会遇到困难，而且遇到的困难会有很多种，很复杂。如果想把事情做好，朝抵抗力最大的路径走，是一个很好的选择。先不说事情是否会成功，在这个过程中你磨练了自己的意志力，锻炼了自己的毅力，也是一种收获。也许最终事情会失败，但是比起选择朝抵抗力最低的路径走的人，你还是成功的，至少你比他们更有勇气，更加坚强。当然，如果你成功了，相信也是对困难非常漂亮的一击，你不但收获了成功，以及精神上的提高，而且还会获得别人的尊敬。不是每一个人都会选择抵抗力最大的路径，更别说选择了的每一个人都会成功。所以，你可以自信的告诉别人和自己，你是成功的!
但是，有时候选择抵抗力最大的路径走，也未必是好事。有时候遇到的事情，简简单单的方法就可以解决，也就没有必要去选择挑战困难，特别是在时间限定的情况下。例如，你要过一条河，你可以坐船过去，也可以自己划船过去，甚至可以自己游泳过去。过河的方法有很多，在*常的情况下，你选择哪一种似乎都没有问题，你可以选择抵抗力最大的一种方法。但是，如果你是有急事要到河对岸去完成，难道你还会选择游泳过去吗?还是选择别的比游泳更具难度的方法?所以说，选择抵抗力最大的路径走，并不是时时都适用。虽然我举的例子不太贴切，但是道理是一样的。当然并不是这么说，就给自己理由去选择抵抗力最低的路径。人应当自强不息，挑战极限，战胜自我。“生命就是一种奋斗”，没有奋斗，就没有追求。就算你朝抵抗力最低的路径走，就算你可以摆脱困难，那也只是一时的，而且会比别人得到的更少，甚至会失去。他人的成功是奋斗和汗水铸成的，无坚不摧，而你的或许就是无比脆弱了。你也失去了锻炼自己身体心理的机会，一旦再遇困难而无法逃避的时候，或许就崩溃了。
世上无难事，只怕有心人。人们也常说，解决的方法总比问题多。只在乎你如何选择而已。绝大多数成功的人，都经历过许许多多的磨难。他们之所以被人们赞颂着，就是因为他们战胜了许多常人无法想象也无法战胜的困难，就是因为他们选择了抵抗力最大的路径，于是也走出了一条条通往成功的道路。相信我们都会明白，选择怎样的道路，会成就我们怎样的人生。

大家下午好!
今天我很荣幸也很高兴能够站在这里与大家分享我的大学生活，大学是人生中最美好，最精彩的一段时光;也是求知的重要阶段，是实现人生理想的加油站。在大学期间，要形成自己的人生观，价值观，世界观，培养自己的特长和个性。大学生活不是百分之百的专业学*，大学教育也不是百分之百的专业教育，在大学里我们要尽可能地发展，提高自己的综合素质和综合能力，掌握走入社会所必需的生存技能。
在即将开始的大学四年生活中，我还要面对的，是更多艰辛和磨练。在漫长的人生历程中，我唯一能做的，是学会坚强和独立，这，是大学生活给我上的第一课。在一个深夜，因疲惫和想家的情绪搅动，我展转难眠，我开始思索自己的大学生活。我开始回忆我的理想。我开始意识到，从前的我，是一株温室里的花，从来娇贵高傲，却禁不起风吹雨打;而大学要让我学会的，是独立，象沙漠中挺立的一棵胡杨，活着三百年不倒，倒了三百年不死，死了三百年不朽，孤苦凄然中挺拔出生命的大气，飞沙走石中挺立出生命的鲜活。
大学生活是多姿多彩的，但也需要我们去把握和深人体会。有人说：“*凡的大学生有着相同的*凡，而不*凡的大学却有着各自的辉煌。”但，你可以选择*凡，但却不可以选择*庸;可以的话，相信谁都想不*凡。走在大学的甬路上，看到周围的人和景致，或是匆匆忙忙的教授，或是悠闲散步的情侣，或是宁静雅致的书香园，或是热闹活跃的篮球场，我感到自己的生活很惬意，我很喜欢这样的氛围，这是我十年寒窗苦苦求索一直梦寐的地方，这就是我的大学。
大学要让我学会的，是坚强，像原野里奔驰的一匹狼，独往独来，忍受饥谨和困厄，执着的追求自由的理想。大学要让我学会的，是做人，能正确看待现实与未来，能正确接受成功和失败，要学做一只苍鹰，存鹰之心于高远，取鹰之志而凌云，*鹰之性以涉险，融鹰之神在山颠!我们都怀着无限崇高的理想和无比美丽的憧憬迈进大学的校门，于是我不能忍受自己的*庸。在四年后，我不愿在回想大学生活时，因不求上进而消沉没落，我不愿在回想大学生活时，因特立独行而孑然孤立，我不愿在回想大学生活时，因虚度光阴而喟叹唏嘘，我不愿在回想大学生活时，因错失机缘而一事无成。 就让我们，共同，点燃理想，点燃信念，迈开坚定的步履，伴着脚步的铿锵，去追求人生的壮丽辉煌!
尊敬的各位老师、同学们：
你们好!
今天我十分荣幸地站在这里参加本届学生会成员的竞选。我竞选的是学生会纪检部干事，虽然我很清楚，我的竞争对手都是各班的精英，实力不可小觑，但我相信自己的能力。或许会有人会暗自发笑：这人怎么这么自负!可是我想说，这不是自负，这是自信!一个人如果连自己都不相信，那么他就没有资格做任何事，即使做了，也很难成功。我之所以能够站在这里，大部分是由于我的自信。当然，能力也很重要，因为一个人的信心和能力永远是成正比的。
自从担任×××后，我觉得我各方面能力都有了很大的提高，赢得了同学们的好评。不过成绩代表过去，未来的路还很漫长，在今后我将更加努力，使自己的能力进一步提升。在管理班级的过程中，难免会遇到各种各样的困难，面对这些困难时，我也曾产生过放弃的念头，但我一次又一次的'说服自己不要放弃，因为放弃，就意味着以前的努力都将白费。
所以，到了今天，我已能坦然面对各种困难，尽自己最大的力量去解决它们。在参加班级管理的过程中，我明白了许多道理：做任何事都要有强烈的责任感，要认真履行自己的职责，才能无愧于心。在管理的同时，要严格要求自己，如果连自己都管不好，如何去管别人?当然，管理时一定要有耐心，要顾及同学们的感受，不要去品尝“高处不胜寒”的滋味。即使有困难，也*敢面对，不能因此过分依赖别人。
加入学术会，是一种荣誉，更是一种责任。我知道这条路上有许多挑战，但我相信我有能力担起这副担子，因为我的热情，我的毅力，我实事求是的工作态度。如果我有幸当选，我将以良好的精神状态，大胆地管理学生会事务，使校园生活更加多姿多彩，真正做好学生会的工作!
假如我未能当选，说明时间给我考验。我也不会灰心、气馁，我将在今后努力提高自己的能力，同时希望学生会的工作在本届学生会成员的管理、协作下越做越好!

夕阳的余晖在红砖道上洒下一地金黄，疲惫的我拖着长长的影子踱步回家，秋天的阳光总是带着一丝慵懒和安详，所见都变得眩目、迷离。忽然不远处似乎有东西正反射着光芒，向前一看才知道是一个空烟盒，孤零零地躺在路上。随手拾起欲丢向垃圾桶时，朦胧中我看见那片熟悉的黄，伴着记忆慢慢沉淀、沉淀，童年的回忆宛若走马灯般一幕幕走过，引领我回到那金黄的故乡。
与众不同的，我的童年是一本烟熏黄的故事书。幼时对外婆家的第一印象，便是一亩亩翠绿的烟叶田和一片片熏黄的烟叶。外公是一个矮小精悍的人，一手安排整个烟叶制作过程：从采收分叶，取其精华，到上架进烟熏机熏黄，最后阴干防潮，每一个步骤对我来说都蕴藏了无穷的乐趣。每当采收青烟叶时，一株株摘光叶片，然后将叶片*整交叠，捆成一大摞搬上货车运走，只留下茎秆在夕阳下孤独地直立着。此时的我总是想像自己是威风凛凛的赵子龙，面对一群烟叶茎秆组成的百万曹军，拿着玩具刀光脚冲进田中左劈右砍。烟叶茎秆虽有一把粗却很容易劈折，只见我大声叫嚣地一一将曹军击倒。他们望风披靡，抱头鼠窜，风云为之变色，山河为之撼动，最后烟叶茎秆个个无力地垂在地上，勇将也累得躺在田垅上，嗅着汗味和刀上绿绿的草汁香。远望天边点点星光和家家灯火，好一个幽静美妙的夜晚。最后伴着如潮般的蛙鸣声，我倚在外公的背上进入甜美的梦乡。
斑驳的烟楼在纯朴的美浓乡下随处可见，时代将它推入了历史的陈迹，伴着烟叶香发思古之幽情。外婆家就在烟楼的二楼，一楼变成储放烟叶的所在，出人只能从楼外的木梯上下，颇有“空中楼阁”的意趣。外公便是携我进入空中楼阁的人。瘦骨嶙峋、头戴一顶肮脏工作帽是我对外公的第一印象，额上深刻的皱纹和流露出坚毅的嘴角描绘出一个烟农的宿命与无悔。由于负责整个烟叶的种植和采收，童年的我总是坐上外公的野狼车和他四处奔走，墙上的黑板写满了日期，用不知名的数字，擦了又擦，改了又改，所有烟叶的优劣都要一肩扛下品质保证。“烟界南针”是家中的一块黑木大匾，也代表着外公对烟叶所做的努力。外公有抽烟的*惯，但绝对不是老烟枪。他总喜欢在一天农忙结束，彩霞缭绕天际时，拿着他的小收音机，叼着一根细烟蹲坐在台阶上，在断断续续的歌声中，享受吞云吐雾的轻松和自在。一团上升，散开，然后又是一团，远方的龙山也正于氤氲山岚的笼罩中，远*都是一片白，缓缓袅袅地融人天际。
记忆中的外公并不多话，但对于烟农的工作却拥有坚定的执着。在烟叶的挑选过程中，他不允许任何一片生病或残缺的叶片苟留。烟熏前必须用大铁夹夹住叶柄以保持叶形，这个大铁夹既笨重又容易夹伤手指，尖锐的边角常在手臂上划下长长的口子。外公的手上总是布满伤口，却仍小心污血滴到烟叶上，真是煞费苦心。可是正式烟熏时更是一场梦魇。大大的排风机轰隆隆排出大量熏烟，既呛鼻又令人头晕目眩，外公却要忍受着高温和刺鼻的味道随时检查烟熏情况，结果汗水在已是褐黄色的衣服上扩散，染成深浅不同的黄色，仿佛将熏黄的岁月幻化成不悔的象征。烟楼的红砖依旧，却深深地染上了这熏黄的记忆。一排排悬吊在架上的烟叶褪去青绿的外衣，半人高的叶面吹弹即破，外公佝偻的背影记载着点点滴滴辛苦的足迹，默默如陀螺般随着时间慢慢旋转、旋转。
种烟从来不是一个如日中天的行业。打我进学校念书时候起，不知不觉随处可见的烟田便在一亩亩减少，外公的熏烟机使用的次数也少了。当纯朴的乡村面对经济的冲击，烟楼依旧保持一贯的沉默。我看见外公坐在台阶上的次数越来越多，身旁嘈杂的小收音机仍是竭尽全力地播放着支离破碎的日本歌曲，不同的是外公脚边总是多了几根散乱的烟。第一次，我察觉到外公的老态，也许是孤独占据了他的休憩，布满伤痕的手指如今只能沦为抽烟的工具。大环境的改变迫使外公的烟业日益消退，但心是不变的。再一次望着外公的背影，无奈和无力让他的身形更显瘦削，微驼的身躯不禁让人同情，然而热忱的火苗仍旧不停地燃烧着，外公坚毅的嘴角仍散发出源源不绝的生命力。抬头看看那块蒙着一层薄灰的黑木大匾，夕阳的余晖从窗外斜斜地映照在匾上，依稀，我感觉到金色的大字变得朦胧，好像带着一丝落寞、一丝不甘，无言地记录着岁月洪流留下的陈迹。
月亮缓缓升到东方的天空，路灯一盏盏亮起来，照着我手中的空烟盒，思绪蓦然回到了现实，目光仍是停留在那片熟悉的黄。深呼吸调整一下自己的思维，把空烟盒扔进垃圾桶，脑海中那深刻的烟叶情怀不禁让我贪婪地吸了几口空气，想再重温烟叶香的感觉。月仍是如此橙黄，心中昏黄的回忆是任时间也不能抹去的。烟楼、烟叶、夕照和无怨无悔的外公，都将融入我的心湖深处，更忘不了那段外公和我共筑的烟情……

大家好！
在高考中有位考生写过这样一段话：我曾经埋怨过，脚底发黄的布鞋，踏不出青春的活力，直到我发觉霍金转动的轮椅，嵌出深深的历史痕迹；我曾咒骂过，脸边黝黑的胎记，映不出美丽的脸庞，直到我看见全身黝黑的黑人，露出甜甜的美丽微笑？？也许你曾抱怨过上帝是捉弄人的，他对你吝啬幸福，却让痛苦折磨着你，日日夜夜，疲惫不堪，换来的只是滚烫的泪珠。但苦尽甘来后，当你揭开那沉重的幕纱，你会看清，上帝是公*的，磨难也是一种财富。曾经有人做了一个试验。
他点清了一座山林中的红羊后，把山中的狼全部捕捉起来，让红羊没有敌人。照理说，红羊应该是悠闲自得、快乐地生活了，但事与愿违，红羊为了争夺一小片土地、甚至一棵青草而搏斗，由原来一支整齐的队伍变为一盘散沙。经过搏斗的红羊一只只疲惫不堪，过去那种矫健、奔跑如飞的红羊在这座山林中再未曾出现过，而且，红羊的数量也在逐渐减少。是什么原因呢？因为人们捕获了狼，红羊没有了给它们造成生命威胁的动物，而自相残杀直至消亡，失去了危机，同时也失去了生机。
可见，在生态环境中，没有磨难就不会有生态*衡的系统。人生如一块璞玉，这是上帝赐予你最大的财富，这块璞玉中有着酸甜苦辣，也许痛苦过后便是幸福，这是上帝给予你最大的机遇。只有自己努力来雕琢这块璞玉，才能使它成为完美无瑕的艺术品。同学们，当你遇到挫折、困难时，不妨想想，上帝是公*的，有时磨难也是一种财富。
同学们，大家好。 今天十分荣幸可以由我来为大家进行课前三分钟的演讲。
首先，我要给大家分享一句话。“我宁愿选择骄傲也不选择自卑。因为骄傲需要资本，资本需要积累，积累需要汗水，而自卑却什么也不需要。”这句话是我在看乔松楼将军在复旦大学演讲视频时偶然间听到的。
是的，今天我演讲的主题就是自信。
每个人的人生都并非一帆风顺，并非永无波浪的湖面。而是一场充满艰辛，坎坷，曲折，充满挑战与挫折的旅途。属于我们的每一个新的一天都是一次挑战。在迎接每日的朝阳时，我们需要足够的自信来克服遇到的困难。
爱因斯坦的“相对论”发表之后，有人曾炮制了一本《百人驳相对论》，网罗了一批所谓名流对这一理论进行声势浩大的挞伐。可是，爱因斯坦自信自己的理论必然胜利，对哒伐不屑一顾。他说：“假如我的理论是错的，一个人反驳就够了，一百个零加起来还是零。”他坚定了必胜的信念，坚持研究，终于使“相对论”成为20世纪的伟大理论，为世人所瞩目。
同学们，或许我们无法成为像爱因斯坦一样成为为社会做出极大贡献的人。但我们依旧应该向他一样自信的面对一切，面对困难，面对挫折。
居里夫人说过：“我们应该有恒心，尤其要有自信心！我们必须相信，我们的天赋是要用来做某种事情的，无论发生什么事情，活着的人总要照常工作。”正是自信，支持她在经受了失恋、丧夫、社会上的流言蜚语等打击之后，两次荣获了诺贝尔奖，为人类的科学事业做出了巨大的贡献。
我坚信，自信是一种力量，一种引领我们坚持的力量。无论身处顺境，还是逆境，都应该微笑地，*静地面对人生，有了自信，生活便有了希望。“天生我材必有用”，哪怕命运之神一次次把我们捉弄，只要拥有自信，拥有一颗自强不息、积极向上的心，成功迟早会属于你的。
同学们，高中三年必定是一段峥嵘岁月。希望从今天开始，从现在开始，我们都可以把汗水的积累转化为骄傲，自信的资本。以舍我其谁也的雄心壮志面对我们应该面对的每一次考验。 让我们的.高中生活成为人生光彩绚丽的回忆。
