It seems to me that the dictionary's authors have relied upon an extraverted measure of wisdom based upon what can be known about another's thoughts and actions. However, a person's wisdom need not always to be seen for it to be present in significant measure. How, then, can one approach such an extremely complicated and ephemeral state such as wisdom?
One approach bases itself upon the fact that any concept which has a significant unknown aspect can be approached through antinomies -- the presentation of two sides which appear to be opposition with each other. When one defines the phenomenon of wisdom solely by measurable, earthly standards only one pole is used -- the material pole and the other dimension -- the spirtual pole, or what we might call the "its unknown dimension" that is present in any wise action whether it be in word or deed -- is ignored. While a one-sided definition may work in some situation, in others it distorts the reality of the situation. It is this "unknown dimension" of wisdom, what we might also call its introverted side, that I wish to emphasize now.
I might say without much risk of over-stating my case that the missing dimension in Western life is the acceptance that balanced wisdom, the term I am using to express wisdom that includes the above two poles, requires a transaction with wisdom's opposites, that is, its antinomian nature. I have presented five antinomies of wisdom for you to consider:
Earthly (material / instinctual / lumen naturae) and Spiritual (its unknown aspects / archetypal / lumen dei)

Traditional Judeo-Christian religion speaks much about wisdom, the chief text being embodied in the book of Proverbs, which I conside to be the "primer" on helping one understand wisdom's unknown pole. One cannot go very far in their understanding or growth in wisdom if they completely disregard a statements in Proverbs like: "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Prov. 1:6). Whether one is religious or not, an understanding of and a non-denigrating attitude -- toward wisdom's unknown pole demands an serious exploration of a relationship with the imago dei, for how else can one fully grasp that in the Scriptures, wisdom is personified or embodied. Through personification we can relationally embrace wisdom rather than it being solely an abstract knowledge or be left as only a "definable goal." It is my opinion that wisdom can be embraced and loved only when it is personified. One might call this "the engaging wisdom's heat" to distinguish it from the cooler aspects of embracing wisdom only as concept.
The quest for balanced wisdom is an elusive thing, much like going toward a destination to which one never arrives. Instead of this making one impatient, I encourage you to consider that all noble things are difficult, costly, and time-consuming. Furthermore, unlike the usual trips we take in life, wisdom's path often diverts us from our conscious intention; we find ourselves in unknown and disorienting places. These two aspects of the pursuit of wisdom are perceived intuitively as the tension between knowing that the path leads to greater connectedness and increase yet at the same time deconstruction and lack of definiteness. Without this uncomfortableness, inherent in its pursuit, wisdom cannot be manifested, remaining dead, or perhaps inert.
The pursuit of wisdom is, in part, a battle of the heart in which the pursuit of pleasure and lessening of discomfort, pain, or obligation continually pull us away from engaging its unknown pole. The Scripture, "out of the heart flows the issues of life," just touches the depths of such a confrontation. Concretely, the "issue of life" is blood without which there can be no further life or only a life that is stagnant. I encourage you to make the pursuit of wisdom as precious to you as your own blood and the blood of others.

单项填空的特点是：内容覆盖面广，考查范围包括中学英语教学大纲所有的语法及词汇知识：重点突出，强调动词用法的考查；突出语境的作用，利用语境间接考查语言知识的运用，应引导学生分析具体的语言情景，运用所学的知识，注意词的搭配，词语辨析等，从而找出正确答案。故此时的单项填空的强化训练十分必要，且应注意及时讲评，进行归纳总结，并引导学生加强探讨，设立错题集。尤其对解题方法进行重点讲解。我精选*几年各地的高考选择题部分给学生练*，让学生熟悉并掌握高考主要考查的重要句型。
听力：除了每周二下午班会课时间20分钟听力泛听，每周六早读精听以外，周二课堂穿插精听。不断加强对学生的集中训练和听力方法的指导，熟悉听力主要考查的题型，并通过对听力材料的分析，学会预测听力内容，初步选出部分答案和排除干扰项。
完形填空：侧重完形填空方法指导及训练。因为完形填空主要是测试学生综合运用语言的能力，所以我从以下几个角度来引导学生：从惯用法和固定搭配的角度来分析；从上下文的角度来分析；从文章的中心句、关键句、关键词来分析作者的观点和态度；从词汇的意义和用法的角度来分析；从逻辑推理、常识等角度来分析。
书面表达：让学生明确高考书面表达的五档评分标准。尽可能对学生的书面表达详批详改，整理归纳，针对不同的学生给予合理的指导，对全体学生有明确的要求：1）句型繁简适度2）有闪光点，要有较高级词汇和较复杂语言结构3）开门见山，层次分明，承上启下4）细读提示，写全要点5）书面干净、整齐、规范。同时让学生背诵范文，做好语言积累。
阅读理解：在整张卷面中，阅读理解是重中之重，学生在做阅读理解练*时，一定要限定时间。根据高考试卷对阅读理解一题限时的要求，我们限制在35分钟内读完5篇短文并完成20道小题的选择。在选择正确答案时，要充分利用*常所学过的阅读技巧。如寻找主题句，猜词，推理，跳读，略读等等获取所需要的信息，并对照题干，反复揣摸作者意图及思路，并要求学生在每天限时做一篇完形填空或2-3篇阅读理解，坚持持之以恒的自我阅读训练，并及时评讲，学生的阅读速度和正确率也日渐提高，令我欣慰。
二、适时模拟，查漏补缺
我认真分析历年来的高考试卷，在此基础上精心选编几套高质量的适应性试卷进行模拟测试，并在每次模拟考试后进行认真讲评，并做好最后的归纳工作。我将学生在以前所做的试卷中普遍存在的错题进行分析归类，重新编制成试题，让学生再练，我不厌其烦地为学生分析指导错误根源，提高学生识别错误的能力和语言领悟能力。并要求学生不断回头看以前自己做过的作业和错题集，减少错误再现率。
三、心理疏导，树立自信
英语教学质量能否取得突破，最终取决于学生的努力程度和学*潜能的发挥。对于大多数学生来讲，考试制胜的关键就是要做到心理稳定、思路清晰，在心理、思维、体力等方面保持稳定，从容应对各种题目，最终取得优异成绩，享受成功的喜悦。因此，从一进入高三复*就应注意学生心里健康方面的教育，从生活上、学*上关心学生，多与学生聊天、交流，教给学生自我调节放松的方法，指导家长帮考生营造一个轻松的家庭环境，尽量帮助学生消除不良的心理因素，注重学生良好学**惯的培养和正确学*方法的指导，树立起学好英语的必胜信心。
四、实施分层次教学，注重辅差导优，效果良好
针对学生的现状，实施分层次教学，因材施教，对优生和差生分别组织辅导，让优生更尖，让差生跟得上。高考成绩证明，这个措施是有力的，对高考总分起很大的贡献，学生基本上都把真把事发挥出来。本人任教的班级英语*均分将*110分，全班只有三个90分以下，其中xxx140分，是xx区理科英语第一名。这成绩跟其他兄弟学校比起来可能逊色点，但对我们的这种生源，我觉得已经不错了。

英语课堂既是吸取知识的主战场，又是内化技能的练兵所，但有限的时间无法使学生们充分把这些技能和知识据为己有并消化吸收。利用一定的时间复*巩固已学知识，训练相应技能是提高学*效率不可或缺的重要组成部分。我的具体做法是把语言教学与练*联系起来，上课时尽量结合时事、热点，给学生讲有关政治、历史、社会等各方面的新闻、幽默等。
课后做到多和学生交流接触，了解学生的需要，以及他们对课堂上知识的掌握程度.并且在课后还布置学生专门做一些综合能力的作业.比如说一天两篇阅读理解和一篇完型填空.而且我在教学中会认真设计相应的课后练*，让学生达到学以致用；如果课堂所学的是一些基本的语言点，我就会给学生一些相应的训练，让学生巩固课堂所学知识，并懂得如何在实际中应用；如果课堂教学的是阅读课，我会给出一些关键词，让学生复述课文。
没有课后练*的复*巩固，学*效果会大打折扣，效率就提不高。讲课生动有趣我在讲课时，尽量讲得生动有趣，在完成教学任务的同时，经常给学生穿插一些英文歌曲、电影片段，来激发学生的学*兴趣。
二、课后我积极参与听课

1.提高学生的阅读量大。阅读速度要求每分钟48.5个词以上。
2让其训练的题材应多样化。包括日常生活、风俗*惯、人物传记、文化教育、社会、史地、科技、政治、经济等内容。不能只局限于某种题材。
3体裁多样化。包括说明文、记叙文、议论文、应用文等。
4.让其了解阅读理解的主要题型。
5.掌握必要的阅读理解解题技巧。
一般来说，对记叙文注意5w和1h；对描述文注意主要情节，对说明文或论证文要注意主旨句。
另外，做阅读理解还要善于抓关键词语，如承接词and，besides，but，never，etc。社会对教师的素质要求更高，在今后的教育教学工作中，我将更严格要求自己，努力工作，发扬优点，改正缺点，开拓前进，为美好的明天贡献自己的力量。

二、虚心学*
作为一名新教师，我在教育教学中遇到了众多问题。问题的解决需要细心的请教，勤奋地读书、不断地反思和不断否定自我，超越自我。一年来，我通读了《生命教育—一位小学英语教师的教育生活》、《第五项XX》《班主任工作漫谈》等教育专著。另外，通过向指导老师请教，听课，外出学*等，开拓自己的思维，汲取别人的优点，不断的完善自己的教学。并在本年度取得了些许成绩，在老师们的帮助下，我担任了张店区小学英语五年级教材备课会主讲并执教研讨课一节，参加区英语优质课比赛，区小学英语学科“课堂教学实录与评析”比赛，全国第四届“新标准杯”英语教案课件大赛中均获一等奖。
古人云：“飞瀑之下，必有深潭。”这“深潭”是“飞瀑”长年累月冲击地面而成的。同样，教学经验和方法也是靠长时间积累起来的。在以后的教学中我还要注意对自己的知识进行分类、比较、归纳和提炼，总结了教学中的成功与失败、经验与教训，更注重研究如何启迪学生智慧，调动学生学*的积极性，真正做到扬长避短，更好地教书育人。

1、帮助学生树立正确的.人生观，培育健全的人格，使学生学会做人。为此坚持常规教育与专题教育相结合，建立完善的班级管理体制，构建完善的教育网络，加强与科任老师、学校政教处和家长的联系。由于加强了各方面的联系，提高了教育的针对性，能够防患于未然，提高了育人的实效。
2、培养学生的能力，使学生学会做事。在班主任工作中，注重学生自律能力、创新能力、实践能力的培养。在班级管理中，通过民主选班干，民主选先进培养学生的民主意识，选出的班干部不实行“终身制”，实行轮值制度，每半学期轮换一次，使每一位学生在两个学期内都能有机会当一次班干部。由于有意识地让学生参与到管理中来，学生在自我管理中接受教育，也培养了各方面的能力，参加校运会、文艺晚会等活动都是由学生自己组织完成。也培养了一批优秀的学生干部，如20xx年高一(3)班的陈婷同学被评为肇庆市“优秀学生干部”。
3、关心学生，注重培养尖子，使其成为学生的榜样，促进班风学风的好转。还注重行为有偏差和学有困难的学生的转化。深入学生中了解学生，用爱心去感化学生，激励学生，对待行为有偏差的学生做到晓之以理，动之以情。例如20xx年高二(5)班的黄润同学，家庭背景较为复杂，父亲病逝，母亲改嫁，姐弟两人靠伯父抚养，不幸的家庭并没有激发他的上进心，上课迟到、旷课是常事，经常旷课到游戏机室玩，学*成绩差。接手当他的班主任后，经过深入了解分析，他是由于自卑而不思进取。虽然学*成绩差，但体育成绩好，比较好动，决定让其当体育委员，组建班的篮球队。并经常对其进行理想前途教育，经过一年的努力，转变明显，高二期末考试时名列全级前50名。调入大湾镇高级中学任教后，本人继续担任班主任工作，做好学有困难学生的转化。20xx年高二(4)班的区灿荣同学，人较聪明，但个性好动，经常上学迟到，上课讲话扰乱纪律，接受帮扶任务后，我因势利导，每一周向其提一个经过努力可以达到的目标，使其重拾自信，渐渐地坏*惯改变了，成绩也提高了，期末考试名列全级前30名。

本人积极参加教育局教研室组织的教研活动，比如参加肇庆市中高中英语教师教学技能大赛、优质课评比、新课标培训班等，以提高自己的教学理论水*。
本人结合教学实践，探索适合自己实际的教学方法，总结出有自己特色的教学模式，就是“少讲、多练”，经过不断实践，效果显著。在实践的基础上，把自己的做法和经验上升为理性认识，积极撰写教学论文，20xx年的《浅谈英语*语的汉译》获高要市三等奖。
四、教育工作方面
任现职以来，班主任工作能遵循教育规律，面向全体学生，关爱学生，教书育人。在培育学生健全人格、培养学生能力、培优转差等方面成效显著。
1、帮助学生树立正确的人生观，培育健全的人格，使学生学会做人。为此坚持常规教育与专题教育相结合，建立完善的班级管理体制，构建完善的教育网络，加强与科任老师、学校政教处和家长的联系。由于加强了各方面的联系，提高了教育的针对性，能够防患于未然，提高了育人的实效。
2、培养学生的能力，使学生学会做事。在班主任工作中，注重学生自律能力、创新能力、实践能力的培养。在班级管理中，通过民主选班干，民主选先进培养学生的民主意识，选出的班干部不实行“终身制”，实行轮值制度，每半学期轮换一次，使每一位学生在两个学期内都能有机会当一次班干部。由于有意识地让学生参与到管理中来，学生在自我管理中接受教育，也培养了各方面的能力，参加校运会、文艺晚会等活动都是由学生自己组织完成。也培养了一批优秀的学生干部，如20xx年高一(3)班的陈婷同学被评为肇庆市“优秀学生干部”。
3、关心学生，注重培养尖子，使其成为学生的榜样，促进班风学风的好转。还注重行为有偏差和学有困难的学生的转化。深入学生中了解学生，用爱心去感化学生，激励学生，对待行为有偏差的学生做到晓之以理，动之以情。例如20xx年高二(5)班的黄润同学，家庭背景较为复杂，父亲病逝，母亲改嫁，姐弟两人靠伯父抚养，不幸的家庭并没有激发他的上进心，上课迟到、旷课是常事，经常旷课到游戏机室玩，学*成绩差。接手当他的班主任后，经过深入了解分析，他是由于自卑而不思进取。虽然学*成绩差，但体育成绩好，比较好动，决定让其当体育委员，组建班的篮球队。并经常对其进行理想前途教育，经过一年的努力，转变明显，高二期末考试时名列全级前50名。调入大湾镇高级中学任教后，本人继续担任班主任工作，做好学有困难学生的转化。20xx年高二(4)班的区灿荣同学，人较聪明，但个性好动，经常上学迟到，上课讲话扰乱纪律，接受帮扶任务后，我因势利导，每一周向其提一个经过努力可以达到的`目标，使其重拾自信，渐渐地坏*惯改变了，成绩也提高了，期末考试名列全级前30名。

一、让创新成为教学、教研的活力与动力 19xx年至19xx年正是中学英语科由旧教材向新教材转轨、英语教学由应试教育向素质教育转化的重大改革时期，它一方面给我的教学工作带来了前所未有的挑战，另一方面也正好给我的教学改革带来了机遇。我开展了“兴趣英语教学”。首先激发学生学*的情感，充分发挥教师感染力，上课精神抖擞，热情洋溢，使学生与教师产生心理兼容，并构建民主和谐的课堂气氛，教法灵活多变，边讲边议，议练结合，形成轻松愉快、生动活泼的课堂气氛。后来，我开展了每天安排学生上讲台进行“课前三分钟英语口语”的活动，活动的形式有一人演讲、两人对话、小品、短剧和幽默笑话等。活动的开展，收到了预想不到的效果，学生的热情高涨，课堂常常爆发出热烈的掌声。在活动的开展过程中，学生用英语的表达能力有了明显的提高，学*英语的积极性更是有了明显的提高。并在学校教学教研活动上进行经验总结，这一活动得到了各教师的认同与充分肯定。96年在中山小榄中学上的how to plant cabbages公开课以其直观、形象、生动、注重培养学生思维、运用语言能力等优点受到了市教研员和听课老师的一致好评。98年调入南海一中后，我以更高的热情全身心地投入教学工作，明确对自己提出“老师英语素质的提高是学生英语素质提高的前提”，把新教材内容及要求与高考大纲相结合，提出了“英语教学既要扣住课本，又要跳出课本;既要抓紧课堂，又要跳出课堂”的教学模式，为此，我主要是从以下几个方面入手：
一、加强基本功训练，每学期承担一次校级或科组公开课，虚心听取他人意见和建议，不断改进和提高教学水*。

四、成立英语活动小组，进行与英语学科相关的课外活动：开办口语班、英语角、朗读和演讲比赛、写成语和猜谜、唱英语歌、演话剧、背单词、英语征文、参加学校一年一届的英语节，开展这些多种多样的课外活动大大地提高了学生学*英语的兴趣，也提高了学生对英语学*的认识。在*几年的高考中我校英语科的*均成绩一直遥遥领先于其它科。用学校领导的话来说：这与英语科老师*时积极和扎实开展各种英语活动是分不开的。
五、拓宽学生知识面，为了适应高考要求，开阔学生的知识视野，积极倡导学生利用图书馆的藏书、“阅读课”、“上网阅读课”等时间，自己搜索或利用老师提供的网站进行浏览阅读，丰富自己的英语知识。特别在高考报考英语专业的同学中，倡导开展“每月读两本英语课外书”的活动。

二、言传身教 获得中级职称以来，不管是在中山小榄中学还是在南海市第一中学，都承担了辅导青年教师的工作，组成一帮一的模式，给他们上示范课，听他们上课，看他们的教案，共同备课，研究分析教材、钻研教法，选择科学的手段和方法进行教学，互相交流经验，起到了传帮带的作用，使他们都晋升了一级英语教师。
三、在学*中求发展 多年来，本人能认真钻研业务，了解英语教学最新的发展趋势，不断的更新知识，订阅了大量相关资料，参加了广东省、中山市、佛山市教育部门组织的各类学*，使自己的业务能力和教学水*不断提高，并撰写了大量的教育教学方面的论文，在市、县、校等专题研讨会上交流。论文《谈课堂教学中学生交际能力的培养》获得南海市XX年教学论文评比三等奖。
做为一名高中英语教师，我在今年主要任教于高一年级的英语课，我所带的两个班级的学生，经过一学期的认真学*，英语成绩有了显著的提高，学生们在英语课上态度认真，学*的劲头也很足，我个人认为，英语是学生的一门主要功课，无论是学校、家长还是学生都很重视它，但是不少学生觉得这门功课单调枯燥，学起来吃力，甚至有不少学生放弃了它。究其原因，是学生对英语学*的接触面小，说练机会少，以及他与中文的部分反差的诸多因素，使得学生对英语学*常常存在“厌、怕、弃”的不健康的心理。这使我不得不改进以往的教学方法。经过一个学期的英语教学工作，在我个人的积极努力与广大同学的配合下，教学任务圆满完成，现将个人工作总结如下。
一、注意高一与初中的衔接过渡
高一新学期伊始，可以通过摸底了解学生大致水*，及时给学生弥补初中的缺漏知识。可利用上半学期的时间从语言、词汇、语法、句型等方面系统复*。要尽快使学生适应高中英语教学，具体做法是：培养学生课前预*、课后复*的良好学**惯；坚持用英语授课，要求并鼓励学生用英语思考问题、回答问题；根据高考要求，从高一年开始就需要培养学生的阅读能力，教会学生一些阅读技巧，养成良好的阅读*惯；另外，课后要多与学生接触，尽快和学生熟悉。
二、确立与新课程相适应的教育观念
学生是学*的主体，老师不能代替学生读书，代替学生感知，代替学生观察、分析、思考，代替学生明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。老师只能让学生自己读书，自己感受事物，自己观察、分析、思考，从而明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。于是我改变“一言堂”，把课堂还给学生，形成师生交往、积极互动、共同发展的教学过程。
三、高中英语教学要始终贯彻交际性原则，强化学生主体意识
“让游泳者到水中去。”这是交际语言教学理论的思想核心。贯彻交际性原则亦就是要把教学活化为实际：
1、建立“课前五分钟会话”，培养课堂交际氛围。如一进课堂老师说：“it’s nice to see you again。/it’s fine to day，isn’t？/how are you today？”星期一上课问：“did you have a good time in the weekend？”学生会作出不同的回答，引出更多的对话，从而达到交际的目的。
2、适当让学生表演对话或课文内容。针对*期所学内容，布置学生课后进行讨论排练，然后在课堂表演。
3、多鼓励，少批评。为了使学生更爱开口，在练*中，要重视运用鼓励性语言，不断强化学生参加交际的信心。
四、激发学生学*英语的兴趣
在教学中培养学生的学*兴趣，增强教学效果，才能避免在以后的学*中产生两极分化。具体做法是把语言教学与日常生活联系起来，上课可以结合时事、热点，给学生讲有关政治、历史、社会等各方面的新闻、幽默等。还可以通过开辟第二课堂，如举办讲故事、各类竞赛等。老师课后应当多和学生交流接触，了解学生的需要，适当和学生一起参加活动、体育运动。课后还可以布置学生听英语广播、看英语新闻，然后再到学校进行交流。
五、努力建立融洽的师生关系
相对来说，初中生比小学生独立性强，自尊心也逐渐增强，渴望得到尊重。师生之间只有互相尊重，互相信任，才能建立起友好关系，从而促进学生学*的兴趣。所以我必须树立正确的学生观，正确认识学生的主体地位。我用自己满腔的爱去关心、尊重学生，耐心细致地指导学生，沟通和学生的思想感情，使自己成为学生欢迎和爱戴的人。上课时我是学生的老师，循循善诱和激发学生学*的积极性，大胆求异创新；课后我却成为他们的好朋友，无话不谈，亮起心灵之光；生活上，我是他们的父母，关怀备至。
六、严谨治学，保持良好的教态
教师的教风直接影响学生的学风。驾驶的一言一行，无时无刻不在影响着学生。所以我提高自己的思想认识，做到爱岗敬业，学而不厌，诲人不倦，为人师表，治学严谨，还要保持良好的教态。老师的教学语言和教态对学生的学*有直接的影响。老师的教态好，学生就喜欢，他们听课的兴趣就高，接受知识也快。反之，学生就不喜欢，甚至讨厌。特别是正处于青春期的初中生，看问题开始有可独立的见解，对他们更要注意教态和教学语言的使用。如我介绍新句型时，我利用语言的轻重，语调的高低，和一定的动作表情，尽量引起学生的注意和兴趣。当学生回答问题时，我的表情变得自然亲切，使促使感到老师对他们的信任，这样学生就增添了勇气，就能大胆地回答问题。
七、使学生明白学*目的
要学好英语，首先要使学生认识到学这一语言的目的和意义。众所周知，人类社会已经进入了21世纪，新的世界将是个充满竞争和多变的世纪，*要在跨世纪的竞争中取得主动，中华民族要腾飞，要最终取决于优秀科技人才的涌现。如果我们不懂英语，怎么去了解世界？只有学生自觉地把自己的理想与祖国的前途和命运联系起来，才会对英语学*真正感兴趣，这种兴趣也有可能转为学*英语的动力。因此我结合本地区学生的实际情况，通读和节选教材，围绕着最简单、最基本、最常用的英语词汇、句型、交际会话等进行教学，使学生对英语产生兴趣，形成学*动机。
八、面向全体学生，为学生全面发展和终身发展奠定基础。
1、创设各种情景，鼓励学生大胆地使用英语，对他们在学*过程中的失误和错误采取宽容的态度。
2、为学生提供自主学*和直接交流的机会，以及充分表现和自我发展的一个空间。
3、鼓励学生通过体验、实践、合作、探索等方式，发展听、说、读、写的综合能力。
4、创造条件让学生能够探究他们自己的一些问题，并自主解决问题。
九、关注学生情感，营造民主、和谐的教学气氛。
学生只有对自己、对英语及其文化有积极的情态，才能保持英语学*的动力并取得成绩，刻板的情态，不仅会影响到英语学*的效果，还会影响其它方面的发展，情态是学好英语的重要因素，因此我努力营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学空间，做到：
1、尊重每个学生，积极鼓励他们在学*中的尝试，保护他们的自尊心和积极性。
2、把英语教学与情态有机地结合起来，创造各种合作学*的活动，促进学生互相学*，互相帮助，体验成就感，发展合作精神。
3、关注学*有困难的或性格内向的学*，尽可能地为他们创造语言的机会。
4、建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道，经常和学生一起反思学*过程和学*效果，互相鼓励和帮助，做到教学相辅。
十、加强对学生学*策略的指导，让他们在学*和使用的过程中，逐步学会如何学*，做到：
1、积极创造条件，让学生参与到阶段性学*目标，以及给他们介绍实现目标的方法。
2、引导学生结合语境，采用推测、查阅和协调的方法进行学*。
3、引导学生在学*过程中，进行自我评价，并根据需要调整自己的学*目标和学*策略。
新课程改革不是纸上谈兵，它必须要与实践相结合，所以，我将继续努力学*，积极进取，积极参与课程改革，在课改中不断学*，不断实践，不断反思，愿与新课程共同成长。

带完一届的高三毕业班，取得了可喜的成绩。回首今年的教学工作，真是时间短，压力大，任务重。为了做好新一轮的教学工作，我对一年的高三英语教学工作进行反思和总结。
我今年担任高三年两个班的英语教学工作，深感任重道远，在深入分析任课班学生的现状之后，我扎扎实实地做了一系列具体细致的工作，也取得了较好的成效。
一、合理制定复*计划并注重计划的落实与完善。
要想搞好高三英语教学，没有合理的教学和复*计划是不行的。我对《高中英语新课程标准》和《考试说明》及历年的高考试题认真研究，深刻领会其中的精神，把握测试要求，分析好高考知识点的考查内容和测试角度，明确高考发展的变化趋向，制订切实有效的复*计划，并在教学的过程中不断改进和完善。我从以下两个方面入手帮学生备考。
（一）立足课本，精选练*，巩固强化基础知识。
复*伊始，全面重点复*高一高二及高三上的语言点，高三下也不敢懈怠，快速扫完。强调学生掌握课标词汇，并适当扩大词汇量的积累。利用早读时间小测抽查，重点对语法知识进行系统的复*并辅之以相应的配套练*材料，及时讲评；同时教会学生利用语境做好情景交际题；并让学生建立相应的错题集，减少错题再错机率，做到真正掌握所学知识，灵活解题，以不变应万变。
（二）加强高考题型的专项训练，提高学生应试能力。
听力、单项选择、完形填空、阅读理解、书面表达的限时训练应贯穿高考复*的始终。
单项填空的特点是：内容覆盖面广，考查范围包括中学英语教学大纲所有的语法及词汇知识：重点突出，强调动词用法的考查；突出语境的作用，利用语境间接考查语言知识的运用，应引导学生分析具体的语言情景，运用所学的知识，注意词的搭配，词语辨析等，从而找出正确答案。故此时的单项填空的强化训练十分必要，且应注意及时讲评，进行归纳总结，并引导学生加强探讨，设立错题集。尤其对解题方法进行重点讲解。我精选*几年各地的高考选择题部分给学生练*，让学生熟悉并掌握高考主要考查的重要句型。
听力：除了每周二下午班会课时间20分钟听力泛听，每周六早读精听以外，周二课堂穿插精听。不断加强对学生的集中训练和听力方法的指导，熟悉听力主要考查的题型，并通过对听力材料的分析，学会预测听力内容，初步选出部分答案和排除干扰项。
完形填空：侧重完形填空方法指导及训练。因为完形填空主要是测试学生综合运用语言的能力，所以我从以下几个角度来引导学生：从惯用法和固定搭配的角度来分析；从上下文的角度来分析；从文章的中心句、关键句、关键词来分析作者的观点和态度；从词汇的意义和用法的角度来分析；从逻辑推理、常识等角度来分析。
书面表达：让学生明确高考书面表达的五档评分标准。尽可能对学生的书面表达详批详改，整理归纳，针对不同的学生给予合理的指导，对全体学生有明确的要求：1、句型繁简适度。2、有闪光点，要有较高级词汇和较复杂语言结构。3、开门见山，层次分明，承上启下。4、细读提示，写全要点。5、书面干净、整齐、规范。同时让学生背诵范文，做好语言积累。
阅读理解：在整张卷面中，阅读理解是重中之重，学生在做阅读理解练*时，一定要限定时间。根据高考试卷对阅读理解一题限时的要求，我们限制在35分钟内读完5篇短文并完成20道小题的选择。在选择正确答案时，要充分利用*常所学过的阅读技巧。如寻找主题句，猜词，推理，跳读，略读等等获取所需要的信息，并对照题干，反复揣摸作者意图及思路，并要求学生在每天限时做一篇完形填空或2—3篇阅读理解，坚持持之以恒的自我阅读训练，并及时评讲，学生的阅读速度和正确率也日渐提高，令我欣慰。
二、适时模拟，查漏补缺。
我认真分析历年来的高考试卷，在此基础上精心选编几套高质量的适应性试卷进行模拟测试，并在每次模拟考试后进行认真讲评，并做好最后的归纳工作。我将学生在以前所做的试卷中普遍存在的错题进行分析归类，重新编制成试题，让学生再练，我不厌其烦地为学生分析指导错误根源，提高学生识别错误的能力和语言领悟能力。并要求学生不断回头看以前自己做过的作业和错题集，减少错误再现率。
三、心理疏导，树立自信。
英语教学质量能否取得突破，最终取决于学生的努力程度和学*潜能的发挥。对于大多数学生来讲，考试制胜的关键就是要做到心理稳定、思路清晰，在心理、思维、体力等方面保持稳定，从容应对各种题目，最终取得优异成绩，享受成功的喜悦。因此，从一进入高三复*就应注意学生心里健康方面的教育，从生活上、学*上关心学生，多与学生聊天、交流，教给学生自我调节放松的方法，指导家长帮考生营造一个轻松的家庭环境，尽量帮助学生消除不良的心理因素，注重学生良好学**惯的培养和正确学*方法的指导，树立起学好英语的必胜信心。
四、实施分层次教学，注重辅差导优，效果良好。
针对学生的现状，实施分层次教学，因材施教，对优生和差生分别组织辅导，让优生更尖，让差生跟得上。高考成绩证明，这个措施是有力的，对高考总分起很大的贡献，学生基本上都把真把事发挥出来。本人任教的班级英语*均分将*110分，全班只有三个90分以下，其中xxx140分，是xx区理科英语第一名。这成绩跟其他兄弟学校比起来可能逊色点，但对我们的这种生源，我觉得已经不错了。
仔细回想，今天的成功是与我们在工作中能结合我校教学实情，切实搞好集体备课，群策群力，拼搏巧干，科学辅导分不开的，我希望这次的反思，能为今后成功开展工作提供借鉴，力争使我校的英语教学质量在下一届的高考中再创辉煌。

三、巩固教学效果发展学生智能
教学的一个根本目的，是要求学生学会独立思考、独立自学，最终成为一个能独立工作的合格人才。课内教学的双边活动是至关重要的，但由于学生多，时间少，而学生主动活动机会则不多。所以，课外作业便是学生个体完成作业的独立活动的基本形式。
课外作业，有助于学生发展智能和创造性才能，有助于培养学生灵活地应用知识解决问题，有助于培养学生的能力，并能培养学生按时完成任务的*惯和责任心，以及克服困难的精神。因此，教师要在作业的布置和批改上下工夫，不仅要重视答案的公*性、客观性和性，还要重视学生的选择性和创造性以及答案的开放性和多样性。
四、备课，既备学生，又要备教法
