Education background
In xxxx, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In xxxx, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network ScheDuling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Sup*** chain network research, Hybrid system performance ***ysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

Weaknesses: Im afraid I havent got a very good sense of directions, so I easily get lost. But I like to ask people and find the way from other means, for example, search the Internet on my mobile phone, and turn to the directions at bus stops. Another one is that I tend to have too high expectations on people, especially people who I care. I don’t know whether you have watched a film named The Pursuit of Happiness. It is a very touching movie acted by Will Smith. I love this movie very much. Because I find myself in this movie and I got a lesson from it. In this movie, the main character never lost hope and was devoted to his job and family, being passionate about life and future, and being calm while facing adversities. I can still remember what the father said to his son. You got a dream, you gonna protect it. I am like him, full of motivation and determination, being strong and calm while facing difficulties.
Weaknesses: Im afraid I havent got a very good sense of directions, so I easily get lost. But I like to ask people and find the way from other means, for example, search the Internet on my mobile phone, and turn to the directions at bus stops. Another one is that I tend to have too high expectations on people, especially people who I care. Generally speaking ,i am a hard working student especially do the thing i am interested in. i will try my best to finish it no matter how difficult it is. when i was sophomore, i found web design very interesting, so i learned it very hard . to weaver a homepage for myself, i stayed with my pesonel computer for half a month.,and i am the first one in my class who own his homepage.
