“妈妈”这两个字是世界上最美丽的名字，如果要我找一个温暖又安全的地方躲避风雨，没有比她那里更完美的地方了。但是，我们却常常忘记有这样一个好地方，而我们却常常抱怨为什么上帝没有给我一个完美的妈妈，而书中的点点从不抱怨，哪怕妈妈最最疼爱的不是自己，她都认为自己的妈妈是天底下最好的妈妈。这种乐观、爱妈妈的情感，使我更加欣赏这位孤儿院长大的小姑娘，这也是我喜欢这本书的原因之一。

要说最喜欢的一本书，那就是《昆虫记》了。这本书是世界名著，图画精彩，文字优美，最重要的是故事有趣。
那是在去年寒假，我在老师推荐的书目中看见了这本书。作为一个昆虫爱好者，我最喜欢昆虫了，所以便毫不犹豫地选择了它。等买回来之后，我发现这真是一本好书。
书中有很多优美的句子，如《丁香小教堂》中的：在这美妙的日子里，昆虫朝圣者们都跑来参加这“聚餐会”，品一口春天的佳肴，饮一口自然的纯酿；一只长着黑色眼圈的单眼粉蝶在空中翩翩起舞，它们忽上忽下，忽左忽右，跳着好看的芭蕾舞。读到这一句后，仿佛真的有一只单眼粉蝶在我的眼前舞蹈。瞧，这两句话是不是充分的把昆虫比喻**类，它们的生活多么的自由自在啊！它们彼此间亲密地接触，倾听大自然那属于它们的美妙的声音。
现在，我更喜欢昆虫了！
接着，我轻轻地翻动着书页，不知不觉，我翻到了《优雅的杀手——螳螂》。书上把它们比喻成凶残的老虎和狡猾的巨妖。但是，我发现螳螂也没有那么坏。雄性螳螂甚至为了繁殖而牺牲生命，这是一般动物所做不到的。原来，雌性螳螂要繁殖后代，可是营养不够，所以要吃掉雄性来补充营养。看到这，我希望自己长大后能够成为一名科学家，帮助它们解决这一残酷的事情。
最后，我又知道了黑腹舞蛛有剧毒。它的毒足以杀死坚硬的圣甲虫，就连一只小仓鼠都性命难保。最令我震惊的是，它竟然能杀死强壮的大黄蜂和胡蜂，而且是百发百中。胡蜂可是速度专家，就连跳蛛也拿它没办法，黑腹舞蛛竟然能手到擒来，真是不可思议。
读了这本书之后，我懂得了昆虫不是想象中的那么可怕。最重要的是，我知道了哪些昆虫要注意，千万不要被它们的外表所迷惑。

《红楼梦》是清代曹雪芹的名著，此书又名《石头记》。里面的主人公有两位，以为是阆苑仙葩林黛玉，一位是宝玉无瑕贾宝玉，这本书说了林黛玉到了贾府后，因为无依无靠，孤身一人，所以非常的多愁善感，喜怒无常，她和其他的姐妹们还有贾宝玉天天在一起玩耍，赋词，她和贾宝玉本就是一对，可是世事难料，最后贾宝玉却娶了薛宝钗，林黛玉由于悲伤过度，临终前就说了一句：“宝玉，你好……”话未说完就悄悄地走了，她走时，居然贾府无一人知晓，大家都在普天同庆，因为贾宝玉和薛宝钗成亲了，热闹的场面更衬的林黛玉的无助与孤单。一段凄凉、悲惨的爱情故事就结束了，人们无不为贾宝玉和林黛玉遗憾和叹息。
读完了整本书，让我印象最深的就是林黛玉和刘姥姥了，我们先来说林黛玉吧。她留给后人的更多的是小家子气。大家却不知道她是为了贾宝玉，林黛玉的诗书情怀尤其令我敬佩，她作的诗有时像牡丹一样雍容华贵，让人啧啧赞叹，有时又想茉莉一样清新淡雅，让人怜惜，她长长因为一件小事而哭泣，可是我们为何不为她想想呢?自己孤身一人在偌大的贾府里，自己是多么渺小，多么微不足道，再一想到自己的身世就更伤心了，就像茉莉能比得了牡丹吗?所以我想她爱哭、多愁善感、喜怒无常也是正常的。再来说刘姥姥，一个懂得讨好人的人，经常被贾府的人当做笑料，但她毫不在乎。但她却是一个懂得“滴水之恩当涌泉相报”的人，还记得贾府被抄家后，她将巧姐救了下来吗?正说明了她懂得报恩的特点。
我才《红楼梦》中懂得了许多，所以它是我最喜欢的书，多读些好书吧，读书会使你明智。
高尔基曾经说过：书籍是人类进步的阶梯。没错，书确实很重要，书籍对人类的影响是巨大的。大家都有自己喜欢的书吧，我最喜欢的书是《什么是什么之鲸和海豚》。
我很喜欢《鲸和海豚》这本书，它给了我很多知识，这是我喜欢这本书的第一原因：现在的孩子知识量太少了，以前我觉得学会课本上的知识就行了，对课外的一些知识知之甚少，连鲸鱼是哺乳动物也不知道。鲸有几个品种?蓝鲸是世界上最大的动物吗?最早捕鲸的是什么人?海豚是属于鲸目吗?海豚有几个品种?这些问题以前我都不知道，直到有了《鲸和海豚》这本书，这些问题才一一解开，这本书让我学到了很多知识。
第二个原因是这本书让我懂得了一个深刻的道理。当我读到”IWC这个组织保护鲸，不是为鲸着想，而是为了捕鲸着想，因为现在的高科技武器可能把鲸逼入绝境，以后出现没有鲸可捕的现象“。这一章(《捕鲸》)和这一段话给了我深刻的感触和道理：人们为了自己的利益而不惜杀害动物，破坏自然环境，现在的武器越来越高科技，越来越发达，人们穿着虎皮，狮皮做成的衣服，提着鳄鱼皮做成的皮包，家中摆放着用象牙雕刻成的精美装饰品。这些又有什么用呢?还不是只求一乐，却不想，这是把自己逼入绝境。
人们无度地砍伐树木，杀害动物，最后树木砍光了，动物杀光了，环境污染了，地球破坏了，最后人类被自己逼上了绝路。这一章和这一段话表面上是写鲸鱼，实际上写了所有动物的情况。所以我们保护环境，保护动物，就是在保护我们人类自己。
第三个原因是，我的理想是长大后成为一名生物学家。作为生物，鲸和海豚在自然界算是比较简单的，我就先学*它们的相关知识，逐渐打下基础。通过这本书我知道，鲸鱼的祖先是龙王鲸和矛齿鲸，大约四千万年前，陆地上到处都是厉害的爬行动物和哺乳动物，鲸无法在陆地上生存，就慢慢进化成了海洋生物。本书尾页还有这样一句话：鲸还有很多的秘密。留下了悬念，激发了我探索和发现的欲望。

我喜爱这本书是因为岳飞是永生在中国老百姓心中的民族英雄，他武艺高强，精通韬略；正气凛然，一心要精忠报国。岳家军的将领，则多为出身民间的绿林好汉，他们对腐朽的封建朝廷不满，但在民族存亡的关头，都能挺身而出，血洒沙场。这本书还让人们认识到了岳飞的精忠报国，秦桧的残害良忠。岳飞他为了不让金兵入中原，就带领几千万宋朝人马打金兵。而秦桧呢，他却只顾自己的生命，竟忘记了自己是从哪来的，这样还不算，他和他的妻子贪图荣华富贵，帮助金人杀入中原。真是令人可恨！
