The economy develops at the cost of polluting the environment, we can see the pollution everywhere, like the river water is dirty, the situation is so serious that we must take some action to control the environmental pollution. Nowadays with the development of industry ,our life becomes easier than before .But in the meanwhile it has also brought about air pollution .Because waste gas is increasingly discharged into the air around us ,which will do harm to our health.Besides with the number of the private cars becoming larger,more carbon dioxide has been let out in the air ,which has added to the air pollution.So now some immediate measures must be taken to reduce the air pollution.First I think we should plant more trees to make the air fresh.Second we should write to the editors to appeal to those industrial people to think about our health.Finally we should call on the drivers to reduce the use of cars .Only in that way can we sovle the problem of air pollution.

We have to admit that, comparatively speaking, our cities are not so clean and green as those in the developed countries.
There are not adequate trees, lawns and flower-beds in such big cities as Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai. We should make our cities greener by planting more trees, grass and flowers. A green environment can bring us pleasure, beauty and fresh air. Trees, lawns and flowers will make our cities more pleasing to both the eye and the mind, improve the weather conditions and provide fresh air, all of which will no doubt do us a lot of good.
I suggest that the whole city go all out every spring to plant new trees, build new lawns in and around the city, and everyone should take care of and protect the trees, lawns and flowers, and educate the children to love them. Then year after year, our cities will become greener, more beautiful and livable.
There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years.One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air,water and soil.
The polluted air does great harm to people’s health.The polluted water causes diseases and death.What is more,vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.Many factors are contributing to the deteriorating situation:industrial wastes pumped into the air,the lakes and rivers; a increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the widespread use of plastic bags etc.
To protect the environment,governments of many countries have done a lot.Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution,to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution.Therefore,governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protection today.
In my opinion,to protect environment,the government must take even more concrete measures.First,it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education.Second,much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice,because more people means more people means more pollution.Finally,those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished.We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.
As the world is getting more densely populated,pollution presents a severe problem.More people make more waste.All this waste is polluting our surroundings.
Pollution has a bad influence on our life.The air is pollnted by the smoke and fog coming out of the factory chimneys.Plants die for want of fresh air.The river is polluted and the fish are unfit to live.There is noise pollution made by cars and factories,etc,which hurts the ear.
It is high time we did something about pollution.I suggest more trees be planted to keep the air fresh.We should purify the water and make use of the wastes and turn harm into good.

As we all know, Beijing is facing the air pollution, a kind of environment pollution. Now Beijing is also famous of hazy weather, which is harmful to people’s health because of PM2.5 and PM10.
Why is our capital suffering the hazy weatherIn my view, Beijing is a center of economy, culture and politics, so she has a heavy traffic. As a result, there are a lot of cars here, then the exhaust of them become a part of reason of the air pollution. Besides, in order to have a good economy development, there are many factories around Beijing, the exhaust of the factories become another part of reason of the air pollution. The most import, our country is a developing one, and do not have enough ability to solve the pollution well while focusing on developing, just like UK was called The City of Fog before.
Now, Beijing has taken a lot of actions to deal with the hazy weather. Firstly, setting up the Bicycle exclusive channel, people are
encouraged to ride but not to drive, in this way, the exhaust of cars is decline. Secondly, many factories are forced to move to Hebei Provence, thus, they can continue to make a contribution to Beijing’s economy development and the air pollution is controlled. Finally, the buses and subway have a lower price than other cities, so that people prefer to go on work by bus or subway. And the limit line caused by tail number is effect, too.
I persist that the air pollution of Beijing can be controlled someday later.
Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment. There were few people on the earth, and natural resources seemed to be unlimited.
Today things are different. The world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources,and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive.
We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are still put into rivers.
We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there won't be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?
If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.
Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them.
The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control.
Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.
