I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.

The benefit to China in introducing these initiatives will be significant and far-reaching. It is important to realize that these initiatives need to filter down through all elements of the society in China. For instance, cutting edge technologies and intellectual properties; the development of e-commerce based economy; an education system that encourages innovation and creativity; increased foreign investment; higher living standards; more efficient use of natural resources.
It is important for us to realize these reforms are both essential and necessary. These will help China to fulfill its vast and unrealized potential on the world stage. It will also contribute more to a globalized world of the new century.

“谁爱孩子，孩子就爱他，只有爱孩子的人，他才能教育孩子。”教师应用自己博大的爱去温暖每一位学生。教师只有热爱学生、尊重学生，才能去精心地培养学生，只有爱得深，才能更认真、更耐心、更细心地对学生进行教育。“爱”源于高尚的师德，“爱”意味着无私的奉献。教师对学生的爱，不是出自个人的恩怨，而是出自社会的需要、教育的需要。这种爱是稳固的、深厚的，是与教师所肩负的社会责任紧密相连的。

If There Were No After Life
Whether there’s afterlife, the answer has never been the same. The atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. They may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. They may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they don’t really believe any retribution in their after life.
However, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. They do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. In the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas.
Maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of people’s veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of God, while the royal ministers claimed to be the reincarnations of various constellations. But can the stars reincarnate?
Many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let God see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. They do believe in afterlife. But I can’t help asking: Suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? And If God does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? If you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isn’t it a little too selfish? Comparing with this kind of believers, those who don’t believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other.
You may wonder if I believe in afterlife. My answer is: I know nothing about my previous life, so I dare not make improper comments on afterlife. But I do hope there’s afterlife! Because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. I have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. If there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!
I’m not contented with the present commonplace life, I’m very much attached to the affections that should have been mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and I yearn for the perfection and maturity if I could start all over again. So believe it or not, I’d rather there were afterlife.

也许有人会问作者，你相信来世吗?我的回答是：我不知道前生，因而也不敢妄谈后世。但我真的希望能有来世!因为这辈子时间太短，许多事情都是在还没弄明白的时候，就已经匆匆过去了。我有那么多的理想，我有那么多的心愿，我有那么多的奢望，我有那么多的遗憾，我有那么多的牵挂，我有那么多的雄心壮志，如果没有来世，那就一切皆空了。

Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth. As we tragically learned from last summer's floods. we cannot continue our carelessness.
Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations to come.
How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother? How much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? Let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on. Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment. My definition of success
Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success.

Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope.

helping every american with autism achieve their full potential is one of this administration’s top priorities. at the u.s. department of health and human services, we continue to strive to meet the complex needs of all people with autism spectrum disorders (asd) and their families. while there is no cure, early intervention is critical and can greatly improve a child’s development.
perhaps the biggest step we’ve taken to support those affected by autism and their families happened over a year ago, with the signing of the affordable care act. now, new insurance plans are required to cover autism screening and developmental assessments for children at no cost to parents. insurers will also no longer be allowed to deny children coverage for a pre-existing condition such as asd or to set arbitrary lifetime or annual limits on benefits.
also, thanks to the new law, young adults are allowed to stay on their family health insurance until they turn 26. for a young adult with autism spectrum disorder and their family, that means peace of mind. it means more flexibility, more options, and more opportunity to reach their full potential.
ultimately, there is more support for americans with autism than ever before. this means more promise of new breakthroughs that will help us understand autism even better. but in order to continue meeting the needs of people with autism, the combating autism act must be fully reauthorized. we still have a long way to go. working collaboratively with important partners, the affordable care act and the combating autism act will allow us to continue important research and develop and refine vital treatments.
there are still many unknowns. however, one thing is certain. we will continue to work harder than ever to find solutions and provide support to individuals with asd and their families. together, we can help reduce disparities and allow everyone to actualize their greatest potential.

Stepping into the new century environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as water pollution air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. where all these pollution comes from? To a large extend the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street the gas stations are short of gasoline even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline but it’s still not working. Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance. However the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

I like to look into the mirror. I remember when I was a little girl, I often stood on my toes, trying to find my face in the mirror of the dressing table, which was nearly as high as I was. Now I still like to look into the mirror. Only now, the dressing table is too low for me. As I bend down, I see the face of a young woman, glowing with maturity, confident in her future and fascinated with her own reflection.
The fact that I like to look into the mirror has to do with my granny with whom I spent most of my childhood. I remember clearly that one night I heard her murmuring, "Women can't be seen. Women can't be seen." I was so confused as to look into the mirror the next morning to check if I could indeed see myself. Only now as a young woman myself, can I understand that it was not physical visibility that granny had on her mind.
Granny spent all her life taking care of the family, day in and day out. She cooked for her husband and 10 children. But whenever guests came, she and other female family members had to eat by the stove in the small kitchen. At family discussions, she was never asked for her opinion. After grandpa passed away, she had to listen to my uncle, her eldest son, fulfilled her duty as daughter, wife, and mother; yet as a person, she remained little noticed. Even though she could see herself in the mirror of the dressing table, she was never visible in the mirror of society.
I have been living a different life. At home, I make decisions together with the rest of the family. In school, I often take charge of various activities the same as other boys and girls. Not only that, I can see something granny could not have dreamed of─making decisions for my own future. My life has been a series of decisions. I could choose from several universities as I came out of high school. At university, I could choose from a range of subjects from English literature to business law. And now upon graduation, I am again faced with decisions─to further my study or to go to work; to stay in China or to go abroad; to get married right away or to remain single for a bit longer.
It does not matter whether or not I will become famous or rich, but I will treasure the chance to demonstrate my potential and to help other women demonstrate theirs as full members of society, fully visible in the mirror of history. I will treasure it because the abundance of choice that I enjoy came only after decades of efforts made by my granny, my mum, and millions of other Chinese women.
However, the choices to be made by me and others of my generation are a great challenge. The misconception that men are superior to women is still dominating many people's minds. While men are encouraged to compete and to assert themselves, we are expected to be quiet, loyal and obedient. This is not very different from what is expected of us as good wives and good mothers. The challenge we face calls for a higher level of our personal development and self-determination.
The story of my grandmother and myself mirrors the lives of millions of other women in China and perhaps in the world. Many of them still lead the life of my grandmother. Their worth is not yet recognized. It is the responsibility of a young person like me to work hard and struggle hard so that they too will see themselves and will be seen in the mirror of society.
This is my dream. This dream, I believe, is not only shared by our grandmothers, mothers and sisters, but also by many of our fathers, brothers, husbands and male colleagues.
It will not come true until everyone fully realizes that women can contribute to society and should be guaranteed the right to do so. Women hold up half the sky.
When I came back from the USA, my friends asked me: “How do you feel about your staying there?” “Wonderful” I said. “Then why do you come back?” Hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—China. How true the saying is: “There’s no place like home!”
I love you, China. As a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. I love you, my dear motherland! I love you, China!

I never thought of my dream when I was a kid. Later,my dream always changed. At that time I don't know what dream is. I haven't studied English at all when I was in primary school. And I can't read the English well. But one day something changed , I have already changed my mind . I fall in love with English. I never give up ,although I'm not good at it. 大家下午好!
八年前，我从大学毕业，胸怀理想，远离家乡，来到xxx中学任教。那个时候的xxx刚刚搬到这儿，没有围墙，也没有大门。整个学校才十多个班级，三十来位教师，学校不仅规模小，教学质量也不高，在xxx教育届没有多少影响。然而，经过几年的努力，xxx已由一初中校发展为完中校，教学质量显著提高，xxx不仅有了xxx一流的运动场，xxx的课程改革也走在了xxx的最前列。
xxx能够有今天这样的成就，关键是有一大批爱岗敬业，无私奉献、以校为家，爱生如子的教师。我为他们而感到骄傲，作为xxx大家庭中的一员，因此，我也为自己而感到自豪。
记得一位同事说过这样一句话：教师有了小病不用去看医生，而应该去看学生，病就会好的。他是这样说的，也是这样做的，他的身体不是很好，但几年来，他没有向学校请过一天假，没有无故矿过一节课。在xxx，这样的教师还有很多很多。有一位教师为了工作和学*，五、六年没有回家探望年事已高的双亲;还有一位教师晕倒在课堂上，被学生抬到医务室吃完了药就又回到课堂上;更有好几位女教师在生孩子的前几天，还在给心爱的学生上课。至于那些年幼的孩子托付给父母照看的，年迈的父母拜托给哥姐照料的，更是不少。每次听到同事们说起这些，或看到带病坚持上课的教师，我都会有一种难言的情愫涌上心头，我由衷的敬佩他们。
xxx的教师不仅爱岗敬业，无私奉献，而且以校为家，爱生如子。每当学生遇到挫折时，他们总是和风细雨化解开学生心中的烦恼，扬起前进的风帆;而当学生取得成功陶醉于胜利的喜悦中时，又是他们在学生耳边及时敲起警钟，让其明白“百尺竿头，更进一步”的哲理。大多数教师由于长年的劳累，身体都不是很好，但他们心中牵挂的.却是每一个学生的学*和健康。学生病了，总是他们首先把学生送到医院，然后才通知学生的家长。学生没来上学，又总是他们披风沫雨，上门家访。他们没有宽敞的住房，没有豪华的轿车，有的只是对学生沉甸甸的爱和家长沉甸甸的责任。
在人们的眼中，教师是“太阳底下最光辉的职业”，是“人类灵魂的工程师”。蜡烛，园丁也几乎成了教师的代名词。教师的职业是高尚的，但同时教师的职业也是清苦的。对于xxx这样一所农村的普通完中来说尤其如此。但xxx的教师淡泊名利，无私奉献，学生的进步，就是他们的收获;学生的一声“老师好”，就是他们莫大的财富。
古人云：“一年之计，莫如树谷;十年之计，莫如树木;终身之计，莫如树人”，我庆幸命运赐给了我教师这个职业，我无悔当初的选择。只要我还能够站在讲台上，我就一定会以身作则，为人师表，一定无愧于“教师”这个称号，无愧于“xxx人”这个称号。

今天的这方舞台只给了我百秒的时间，不过，大家一定都注意到了，刚才，我用了将*10秒的时间整理了我的衣装，并非常郑重地向大家鞠了一个躬。的确，我害怕超时带走我的得分，但我更害怕不甚整齐的衣领带走我给大家的好印象。超时影响的是我的成绩，但有失礼节的表现则会影响我作为一名中学生的'形象。我从来自信是一个雄辩的人，但今天，我选择了首先用行动来证明——小事也要求大善，小节也能立大德。
我们都曾让苦思冥想寻觅到的解法葬身在计算过程中写错的一个符号上，我们也都曾将煞费苦心铺排出的作文断送在仓促而就的一个错别字上，常常地，我们学会了高瞻远瞩，学会了从全局出发，却不能够做到对每一件小事都精益求精，何谓真正的“大善”？那就是挖掘小事中的小事，用全部的热情和努力填补那些尚未完善的空缺，把小事的完美演绎到极致。就比如，下一次当你和我一样走上这方舞台的时候，请你一定记得翻好你的衣领。
我们铭记着那些真正的伟人，只因仰头给人一个微笑，抬手放好一张座椅，就让人们对他的敬意油然而生；我们也叹息着那些一时的英雄，只因甩手一次扬长而去，下笔一段过激之词，就让昔日仰望的目光骤然消散。常常地，我们学会了忠孝仁爱礼义信，却不能够做到时刻记挂着每一个小节。何谓真正的“大德”？那就是讲究小节中的小节，用全部的自律和自觉把握那些不被注意的细处，把小节的优雅诠释到完全。就比如，一会儿，当这场比赛结束的时候，请你一定记得谦让周围的人，有序地离开。
刚才，我的同学提醒我时间快要到了，那么，就让我做好这最后大善的小事，成就这最后小节中的大德。

人生如戏，戏如人生。在这充满喧嚣、形形色色的舞台上，每个人都在诠释着自己的角色。但当他们摘下演员的面具，也许，快乐并不一定是真的快乐，忧虑并不一定是真的忧虑。戏里戏外，同样的角色却有着不同的面目。
俗语说“人无远虑，必有*忧”，在生活中，总是有许多令人忧虑的事，我们无法避免，而这也是人生的另一种历练。面对忧虑，许多人有许多不同的看法!
面对忧虑，有人坦于倾诉。
吟诵着“莫道不消魂，帘卷西风，人比黄花廋”的李清照，她的一生虽有几分阳光，但大部分却被乌云笼罩。为了躲避战乱，她不得不与丈夫分离，只身一人南渡，而这也成为了她创作上的分水岭。她寄情于诗词歌赋，将自己的忧虑与哀愁表达得淋漓尽致。对于当时的封建社会，李清照的坦于倾诉显然与闺阁绣女的要求不符，但这又何妨呢!倾诉自己的忧愁是情感的释放，是压力的减缓，而这或许也帮助缔造出了一代伟大的女词人。
面对忧虑，有人埋藏内心。
在快速发展的当今世界，钢筋水泥的墙垣包围着我们，往日的自然气息已所剩无几。随着生活节奏的加快，许多人承受着巨大的压力，他们忧虑着自己的工作、生活、事业……物欲生活的`时代慢慢侵蚀着人与人之间的信任，他们把自己的忧虑深埋于内心，不懂得或不想向人倾诉，伪装着自己真实的情感，，戴着演员的面具，笑容的背后掩藏的也许是无尽的苦楚，而这也让一些人成为了抑郁症的患者，带来了精神上的创伤!
每个人都有自己忧虑的事，忧亦所思!有“先天下之忧而忧”的宽广，有小人为一己之利而忧的狭小，有“无病**”的自找麻烦……孰能无忧呢，重要的是为有意义的事而烦扰!
面对忧虑，我们应该积极地寻求办法来解决问题，而不是一味地“想”，这样只会让自己陷入迷惘，增添哀愁，于事无补。面对忧虑，要懂得释放自己，向他人倾诉，不要总是沉默不语，独自承受着，戴着面具的生活是可悲的!人生舞台上，我们演绎的是最真实的自我，电视剧充满了太多的幻想，我们不是演员，但我们却又是演员，只是舞台变了!
喜怒哀忧愁，懂得倾诉……
诗人说，诚信是三月的春风，是五月的花海;商人说诚信是宝贵的信富;诚实是力量的是一种美德一种象征，它显示着一个人的高度自重和内心的安全感与尊严感。诚信是中华民族的传统美德之一。诚信对于建设人。类社会文明都是极为重要的。一个忠诚老实的人对客观事物的认识能力也是有限的，不可能事事时时准确地反映客观事物的内在规律。因此，忠诚老实的人也有可能犯错误，但同虚伪的人犯错误的性质不同。诚实的人犯错误是由于认识能力和认识方法方面问题造成的，而虚伪的人犯错误则是由于不诚实，属于道德品质问题。
所谓守信，就是信守诺言，说话算数，讲信誉，重信用，履行自己应承担的.义务。
诚实和守信两者意思是相通的，是互相联系在一起的。诚实是守信的基础，守信是诚实的具体表现，不诚实很难做到守信，不守信也很难说是真正的诚实。“诚实”是真实不欺，”信”也是真实不欺。诚实侧重于对客观事实的反映是真实的，对自己内心的思想、情感的表达是真实的。守信侧重于对自己应承担，履行的责任和义务的忠实，毫无保留地实践自己的诺言。
我国是个文明古国、礼仪之邦。历来重视诚实守信的道德修养。东汉许慎着《说文解字》说：“信，诚也”，古代的圣贤哲人对诚信有诸多阐述。“君子之言，信而有征”。征，为证明，证验之意，“言之所以为言者，信也;言而不信，何以为言?”就是说人说话要算数。“诚信者;天下之结也”，意思是说讲诚信，是天下行为准则的关键;孔子也多次讲过诚信，如：“信则人任焉;”“自古皆有死，民无信不立。”孟子论诚信：“至诚而不动者，未之有也;不诚，未有能动者也。”荀子认为“养心莫善于诚”。墨子也极讲诚信：“志不强者智不达，言不信者行不果。”老子把诚信作为人生行为的重要准则：“轻诺必寡信，多易必多难。”庄子也极重诚信：“真者，精诚之至也。不精不诚，不能动人”。庄子把“本真”看做是精诚之极至，不精不诚，就不能感动人。这就把诚信提高到一个新的境界。韩非子则认为“巧诈不如拙诚。”总之，古代的圣贤哲人把诚信作为一项崇高的美德加以颂扬。
因此，无论社会如何发展，诚实作为中华民族的传统美德应该永被传承!

今天我演讲的话题是“做语言文明的中学生”。

在*常的生活中，总会听到关于初出茅庐的学生经受的挫折是多么可怕的话，其实我们不必太过在意，许多挫折往往是美好的开始。有人在挫折中成长，有人在挫折中跌倒，关键在于个人是如何看待的。要知道这个世界从来都是相对的，有挫折必定有成功，重要的是看你要以怎样的心态去面对，站起来便能成就更好的自己，硬是在地上赖着，自怨自艾悲叹不已的人，注定只能继续哭泣。哪个站在台面上的人，不是有一堆令人辛酸的过去？挫折往往令他们站得更稳。
我记得美国的小说家——毛姆写过一篇小说，叫做《刀锋》，是说人们从一种状态过渡到另一种状态的时候，就像从刀的一面过渡到另一面，而最艰难的时候就是趟过刀刃的那一刻，其实走过去就会发现，刀的另一面远没我们想像的那样不可忍受。
现在，快毕业了面对的`是要去考编制，我在学校里经常听到有同学这样说”我们比不过本科生的，还不如不去考呢！“，每每听到这样的话，我都会嗤之以鼻。在我看来，本科生固然厉害，但是我们也不是孬种，为什么还没开始就选择放弃？通常都说”机会是留给有准备的人的“，在这里我要加上一句”机会是留给那些敢与挑战的人的“，只要有勇气去挑战，再加上我们5年来的积累，我们没什么比不过本科生的。况且我们的专业能力比他们要强很多，毕竟我们是花了5年的时间来学*的，再加上我们有两次的实*机会，看看，还没比呢，我们在先决条件上就已经远远的优与他们了，那还有什么必要去自怨自艾呢？
不管遇到怎样的难关，我们只要尽量找出其中的光明面，这样，不论多不好的困境都会好转。不然，只会让自己一直陷在不幸之中。

when i was nine years old i went off to summer camp for the first time. and my mother packed me a suitcase full of books, which to me seemed like a perfectly natural thing to do. because in my family, reading was the primary group activity. and this might sound antisocial to you, but for us it was really just a different way of being social. you have the animal warmth of your family sitting right next to you, but you are also free to go roaming around the adventureland inside your own mind. and i had this idea that camp was going to be just like this, but better. (laughter) i had a vision of 10 girls sitting in a cabin cozily reading books in their matching nightgowns.

camp was more like a keg party without any alcohol. and on the very first day our counselor gathered us all together and she taught us a cheer that she said we would be doing every day for the rest of the summer to instill camp spirit. and it went like this: “r-o-w-d-i-e, that's the way we spell rowdie. rowdie, rowdie, let's get rowdie.“ yeah. so i couldn't figure out for the life of me why we were supposed to be so rowdy, or why we had to spell this word incorrectly. (laughter) but i recited a cheer. i recited a cheer along with everybody else. i did my best. and i just waited for the time that i could go off and read my books.
but the first time that i took my book out of my suitcase, the coolest girl in the bunk came up to me and she asked me, “why are you being so mellow?“ -- mellow, of course, being the exact opposite of r-o-w-d-i-e. and then the second time i tried it, the counselor came up to me with a concerned expression on her face and she repeated the point about camp spirit and said we should all work very hard to be outgoing.
and so i put my books away, back in their suitcase, and i put them under my bed, and there they stayed for the rest of the summer. and i felt kind of guilty about this. i felt as if the books needed me somehow, and they were calling out to me and i was forsaking them. but i did forsake them and i didn't open that suitcase again until i was back home with my family at the end of the summer.
now, i tell you this story about summer camp. i could have told you 50 others just like it -- all the times that i got the message that somehow my quiet and introverted style of being was not necessarily the right way to go, that i should be trying to pass as more of an extrovert. and i always sensed deep down that this was wrong and that introverts were pretty excellent just as they were. but for years i denied this intuition, and so i became a wall street lawyer, of all things, instead of the writer that i had always longed to be -- partly because i needed to prove to myself that i could be bold and assertive too. and i was always going off to crowded bars when i really would have preferred to just have a nice dinner with friends. and i made these self-negating choices so reflexively, that i wasn't even aware that i was making them.
now this is what many introverts do, and it's our loss for sure, but it is also our colleagues' loss and our communities' loss. and at the risk of sounding grandiose, it is the world's loss. because when it comes to creativity and to leadership, we need introverts doing what they do best. a third to a half of the population are introverts -- a third to a half. so that's one out of every two or three people you know. so even if you're an extrovert yourself, i'm talking about your coworkers and your spouses and your children and the person sitting next to you right now -- all of them subject to this bias that is pretty deep and real in our society. we all internalize it from a very early age without even having a language for what we're doing.

正当快要看到结尾的时候，房间门突然开启了，爸爸走了进来，对我说：“有一本非常精彩的动画电影上映，票房挺高的，要不要一起去看呀？”我有些迟钝，刚才看的太投入，完全没听清爸爸说了什么。我呆呆地回答到：“啊？什么？我正看书呢！”说完我低下头继续看书，而爸爸也转身走了。
等后来得知以后，电影也已经全然下映，但我并不后悔，因为我阅读了一本好书，我跨越时间和空间，走遍了全世界，同睿智而高尚的人对话，这是多么美妙的事情。希望我能一生与好书相伴。
我爱读书，也爱它的乐趣。

大家好!
有一句名言说的好：书籍是人类进步的阶梯。有很多人可能会厌恶读书，但读书的乐趣也有很多。
读书能扩大知识面，例如，著名作家冰心直到晚年还每天坚持读书看报，就是为了使自己的知识面更多一点。冰心奶奶每天要看好几本书，并不像我们有些人一样，觉得看书是一种苦，我认为我们应该学*冰心奶奶这种活到老学到老的精神。
读书能解除烦恼，当你在为琐事而烦恼时，看一本好书，可以让你心情舒畅，瞬间把烦心事跑到九霄云外去了。有一次，我正要为考试的事烦心时，偶然看到放在书架上的一本名著。我打开看，看完之后感到异常轻松。
读书是一种享受，书是知识的海洋，读一本好书就像在一个美丽的花园里游览，每一个句子，每一个字都给人一种美的享受。在书中，我们可以学到许多人生哲理。学会说话，做人的方法。读书是享受，让我们在享受中成长。
读书要勤奋，如果一个人读书总是囫囵吞枣，隔三差五的读的话。那他必然不会知道读书的乐趣。高尔基从小过着及其艰苦的生活，但他酷爱读书，是一个书迷。他在船上干活，白天劳累万分。可晚上依旧埋头在灯下读书。他是那样的专注，忘掉了周围的一切，以至于自己，只有勤奋的读书，才会有收获，才会有成就，才会从中收获乐趣。
并不是所有的书都是好书，我们在选书方面也要注意，要读就读有人生哲理的书，不要读那些毫无意义的烂书。
只要我们读好书，多读书，就能从中领悟到读书的乐趣。谢谢大家。

一本新书像一艘船，带领着我们从狭隘的地方，驶向生活的无限广阔的海洋。生活有时候真的像是茫茫大海，高深莫测，浩瀚无际。我们每一个人都像是漂流的船只，慢慢驶向大海的深处，每一艘船要想远航，就必须要有风帆，而同样的，每一个人要想从容生活，也需要有心灵的风帆，这就是书籍。我们大家都知道，生活从来都不是一帆风顺的。而有的人活的坦然充实，最后直抵成功。而有的人碌碌无为，庸碌一生。我不知道大家思考过没有，是他们努力不够吗？是他们起点太低？其实，细想过后就会明白，是他们的价值观不同，是他们的人生高度不一样。可是作为*凡人的我们，怎样才能找到属于自己的人生追求呢？我觉得读书就是一个很好的方式。读一本好书，就像是同一个高尚的人在交谈。我们可以学到很多很多关于人生的道理，看过很多的风景，读过很多人的人生，自然而然的我们可以获得更高的人生体会。所以，养成阅读*惯吧，品味多彩人生。

我喜欢读书，不论是艳阳光照或是阴雨绵绵，只要我有空，便会走向书柜，手一拉呀──的一声，木门便应声而开了。有时爱看小说，有时爱读伟人传记，有时也翻开诗歌、散文，不过对我而言，书中的世界是一种－扣人心弦的魔法。
读小说时，我成为武功高强的人；看伟人传记时，我彷彿成为伟人，俯瞰这世界；看新诗时，我如同诗里的主角在这个世界中“飞翔”。不过我的最爱还是小说，它告诉我人生的道理，它令我一看再看、令我爱不释手；新诗激起了我们心灵钟的幻想；伟人传记告诉我们成功是要靠努力，不能半途而废，否则事事都不可能完成。
读书是一种探险，如探新大陆，如征新天地。读书看似简单、容易，但即使是最简单的事，也要有人去做、去创新，不是吗？古人曰：“三日不读书，面目可憎”读书可以增加你的气质、可以改变你对书的看法、更可以使你成为一位有知识、有学问的人。
有人读书是为了自己；但，相反的有人读书是为了他人，不过这样不是失去了“读书乐”。我们读书可以满足自己的欲望，满足自己的`需要，可满足我们想得到的－读书乐。
我在书中了解到为人处事的道理，做事要一气呵成，不可半途而废。此外，我还学*到人生的道理，了解这些事后我发现之前的我是多么的无知、愚笨。以后利用零碎的时间看书，相信也将是一大乐事。
书面上那些琐碎的一字、一句都带领着我踏着坚定的步伐，走进书中的世界。谢谢大家。
我国唐代伟大诗人杜甫有句名言：“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”
培根先生说过：“知识就是力量”。在这个知识竞争激烈的时代，知识的卓越能让人睿智，读书能改变命运. 读书能陶冶情操、认识自然、认识社会，从而改造自然，改造社会。所以，我们更要多读书，读好书。
因为读书可以开阔视野，只有通过读书，才能使我们知道，美丽的星空是广阔无边的;人类的进化是经过漫长历程的;大自然是神奇而美丽的;知识的海洋是无穷无尽的……，书本中的知识可谓是包罗万象。通过读书，可以丰富知识，拓宽视野。读得书多了，自然就懂的多了，“博学广识”也就是这个道理。
因为读书可以陶冶情操。当我们心情郁闷、悲观失望时，可以翻翻那些使人在笑声中受到启迪的漫画书和童话书，也可以看看科幻书，带你走进科学的世界，产生美好的遐想，不再感受到生活的*淡。
因为读书可以使我们懂得道理。当你处在人生的十字路口无法判断时，有关教育如何做人方面的书籍会使我们毫不犹豫的作出理智的判断，不为蝇头小利而动，不为艰难险阻所困，扎扎实实的走好人生的每一步。
读好书，好处多，作为中学生，我更有体会。读书可以提高写作水*。我们每一个人都有过为作文章而发愁的经历。读书过程中，让你欣赏到了许多优美的词句，在写作时，就可以学*和借鉴，取长补短，长此以往，便会积累丰富的知识，自然就能体会到“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”的道理了。
读一本好书就像在和一个高尚的人谈话。为了真正把读书变成一种*惯、一种生活方式，在4、23读书日即将到来之际，我校举办第六届校园读书节我们的口号是：用生命改变我们的生活。我们的主题是：扬生命风帆，增生命底蕴。我们要积极参与读书活动，坚持每日一成语，每周一诗词，每月一书，让读书真正成为一种*惯，我们还要积极参加书香家庭活动，让读书成为我们生活的一部分。
春光明媚，阳光正好，趁着这个大好时光，让我们读书吧。

recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. the college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. but will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the lives of others? will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?
the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. but the cynics are wrong. the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. we help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.
the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong. we care dee*** for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. i believe in all my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. i believein our future.

who are regarded as the successful. and the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. so most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. but the problem is wether it is real success. we all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. if we keep chasing them, where is the end? what will satisfy us at last? therefore, we can see, to get the real success we must need something inside, which is the realization of
people’ hopes and ideals.
different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.
