我竞聘的岗位是初中英语教师岗位，竞聘这一岗位的理由如下：
一、思想政治方面
本人热爱祖国、热爱人民、拥护***的领导，忠诚党的教育事业。
二、职业道德方面
严格履行中小学教师职业道德规范，为人师表，严格遵守岗位制度，严格恪守人民教师的职业道德，积极参加公益事业。
三、业务方面

如果我能够竞聘上这个岗位，我打算从以下几个方面改进自已的教学工作，提高自已的教学水*。
a）更加科学规范地做好日常教学工作，认真落实教学常规工作，确保教学质量稳中有升。
b）顺应教学改革方向，积极参加教学改革。根据英语学科的特点，我打算开展“任务型教学”实验活动，把学*者个人的生活经历作为课堂学*的主要资源，力图将课堂内的语言学*与课堂外的语言活动结合起来。
c）结合英语学科特点和学生实际情况，配合学校的校本教研，设计并开展丰富多采的英语实践活动，进一步拓展学生的视野，培养学生各方面能力。
d）加强个人修养，练好基本功。进一步树立自已强烈的事业心和责任感，加强自已的工作能力和工作艺术，顾全大局，维护学校良好形象，努力调动学生的学*积极性，提高教学质量，力争在教学中体现实力，在工作中保持动力，在学生和老师的交往中凝聚合力。

有一天几遍排练下来后孩子们已经练得气喘吁吁了，我说：“你们累了，就早点休息吧！”可是没有一个孩子离开我，他们围在我身边仰着小脸恳切地说：“老师，咱们再练一会儿吧！我们不累！真的，我们不怕累！”看着孩子们汗津津的小脸，我突然感到自己是那么的软弱。我说，你们不怕，老师也不怕，咱们一起练。排练结束后，我和孩子们一起笑着闹着，心里感受到一种从未有过的轻松，我知道是孩子们帮助了我，鼓舞了我。当我在台下看着他们成功的表演时，泪水再也忍不住地流了下来，作为一名人民教师爱的奉献是无尽的。

Now, I will tell you about my cycling sport. I often ride my bicycle when I am free. I like to ride my bicycle on a road near my house. It is an empty road. There are no cars and few people walking on the road. It is about four kilometers long. It has several long slopes. So it is very good for cycling. When I ride down the slopes, the bicycle runs very fast, and I feel I am flying. That's a very good feeling for me. When I ride up the slopes, it is very difficult, but it is a good training for me. I always try my best to ride up as long as possible. Cycling there gives me lots of fun.

The Road to Happiness，
It is a commonplace among moralists that you cannot get happiness by pursuing it. This is only true if you pursue it unwisely. Gamblers at Monte Carlo are pursuing money, and most of them lose it instead, but there are other ways of pursuing money, which often succeed. So it is with happiness. If you pursue it by means of drink, you are forgetting the hangover. Epicurus pursued it by living only in congenial society and eating only dry bread, supplemented by a little cheese on feast days. His method proved successful in his case, but he was a valetudinarian, and most people would need something more vigorous. For most people, the pursuit of happiness, unless supplemented in various ways, is too abstract and theoretical to be adequate as a personal rule of life. But I think that whatever personal rule of life you may choose it should not, except in rare and heroic cases, be incompatible with happiness. If you look around at the men and women whom you can call happy, you will see that they all have certain things in common.
The most important of these things is an activity which at most gradually builds up something that you are glad to see coming into existence. Women who take an instinctive pleasure in their children can get this kind of satisfaction out of bringing up a family. Artists and authors and men of science get happiness in this way if their own work seems good to them. But there are many humbler forms of the same kind of pleasure. Many men who spend their working life in the city devote their weekends to voluntary and unremunerated toil in their gardens, and when the spring comes, they experience all the joys of having created beauty. The whole subject of happiness has, in my opinion, been treated too solemnly.
It had been thought that man cannot be happy without a theory of life or a religion. Perhaps those who have been rendered unhappy by a bad theory may need a better theory to help them to recover, just as you may need a tonic when you have been ill. But when things are normal a man should be healthy without a tonic and happy without a theory. It is the simple things that really matter. If a man delights in his wife and children, has success in work, and finds pleasure in the alternation of day and night, spring and autumn, he will be happy whatever his philosophy may be. If, on the other hand, he finds his wife fateful, his children’s noise unendurable, and the office a nightmare; if in the daytime he longs for night, and at night sighs for the light of day, then what he needs is not a new philosophy but a new regimen--a different diet, or more exercise, or what not. Man is an animal, and his happiness depends on his physiology more than he likes to think. This is a humble conclusion, but I cannot make myself disbelieve it. Unhappy businessmen, I am convinced, would increase their happiness more by walking six miles every day than by any conceivable change of philosophy.

The content that i will give a lecture today is still about the subject that's unchanged since ancient times to now days，which is friendship. There have been thousands of explanations as for the word "friend",but i resolutely think that there is the best definition to explain it,which is trust. the story that i read recently makes my idea firm.
It happened in italy four centuries b.c. A young man named pi sia was sentenced to death, because of having offended the tyrant. pi sia was a filial son,and he asked to see his old mother before death. The king promised him, but set down the condition that he must find another person to be in prison instead of him. The condition was so critical that it was almost impossible to be realized. But pi sia did find such a man, who was his friend named dameng. Then pi sia went home to bid farewell with mother as he wished.
Days passed quickly, and the term of imprisonment was near at hand, but pi sia had not turned back yet. Most people ascertained that pi sia had deceived his friend.
It was a rainy day when demeng was sent to the execution ground, all persons watching around laughed at him, but demeng himself was not worried at all. The rope was hanging on his neck, and just at the critical moment, one person ran quickly through the rain shouting loudly,"please wait, I'm coming!" it was pi sia who turned back in time.
This was the most moving curtain in the world. demeng took no care of himself in order to help his friend realize the duty, whose kind of spirit was moved one to tears. While pi sia did not hesitate to take life as the price for performing the promise, whose kind of courage was also rare to meet. My dear friends, do you know why demeng was so calm before death? the reason was that he believed his friend pi sia would not do such despicable thing as deceiving friends. This depended on the strength of trust.
This is a true story that is enough to shock everyone. especially to contemporary people who are surrounded by the benefit of themselves，it is more worth of pondering. friendship is the precious deposits of the human world and the coordinate of life，and it may keep the flowers of heart fresh and sweet forever. a true friend is large treasure of your whole life. when you are downhearted，they may encourage you to do all to catch up with the others，and when you are proud of yourself，they may remind you of keeping a clear head with sincere advice.
However，in the modern society that regards the real interest as the most supreme power，friendship becomes fragile and stingy .it is common that good friends known several years fall out to become enemies，and the friendship also becomes the chip of business...
In fact friendship will not die out, but people do not know to value it .the famous writer bi shumin once said in a piece of paper，" there is only one fruit in the tree of friendship，which is trust." friendship is a kind of nutrition for people that is the most simple and the most luxurious at the same time，which needs irrigating with trust and true feelings. it is just like the flower living in the comfortable hothouse. only with the attentive care，can it become more and more beautiful. in the modern and changeable age，we should abide by the an-cient rule, which is trust. friendship is so hard that it may exist forever as long as you treat it with heart.
Trust is one kind of precious feeling in the world. no one can buy it with money, and no one can get it by cheating or force. it comes from the innermost soul of people. just like clean spring, it washes away the dirt of common customs and makes you pure and self-confident. moreover, it can clear away the obstacles in your heart and help you gain more friend-ship.

Having fun
When having to make a choice most people think they have to choose between the two. Far too often people go for the latter and naturally choose fun. For instance many people would prefer watching television, or more commonly known as TV to exercising, we all know that it’s true, right? The problem is, if you don’t exercise you will become weak and ultimately out of shape and it is no fun to be out of shape, right? So the question is, why not turn exercise into fun?
As an example, if TV is your favorite thing to do, why not connect your TV set to an electric generator that is charged by a stationary bike, you know, the kind of bike you peddle, that doesn’t go anywhere. So think about it, the more you watch TV, the fitter you’ll be.
Now if you are the kind of person who thinks listening to music is fun and you spend many hours alone tap tap tapping your fingers and your toes to the beat, why not take it one step further and get up on your feet and dance, dance, dance.
Or maybe you’re the type of person who prefers being with your friends. There are many ways one could have fun with their pals. For instance you could just hang out and do nothing or better yet you could get into a friendly game of basketball or football there is no rule that says everyone has to be as good as Yao Ming or David Beckham, right?
However sometimes there just aren’t enough players, or you may even be alone in which case you could go for a ride on your bike, maybe, stop by the library to borrow a book, or go for a walk around the park and enjoy the sunshine and scenery. Before you know it, you’re having fun.
Let’s face it, exercise is work and when we think of work we think of thankless underpaid hardships yet it needn’t be this way, if we think of exercise as fun.

As you can see on TV, when a sandstorm comes, the wind blows strongly with dust and sand. Sometimes trees are even broken down in half, and little birds cannot find their homes. Sometimes clouds of dust blur the vision, and little kids cannot find their ways. It's like the end of the world.
When a sandstorm occurs, our classroom is filled with dust and sand. My poor teachers! They've breathed in enough chalk-powder. Now, they have to take in much dust. My poor fellow classmates! They told me they were almost dying.
We love beautiful spring. We cherish bright sunshine. But sandstorms destroy all the lovely things. Yet we know it is Mother Nature's revenge on what we have done to her. (applause) and i want to be clear about what i'm saying, because i dee*** believe our offices should be encouraging casual, chatty cafe-style types of interactions -- you know, the kind where people come together and serendipitously have an exchange of ideas. that is great. it's great for introverts and it's great for extroverts. but we need much more privacy and much more freedom and much more autonomy at work. school, same thing. we need to be teaching kids to work together, for sure, but we also need to be teaching them how to work on their own. this is especially important for extroverted children too. they need to work on their own because that is where deep thought comes from in part.
okay, number two: go to the wilderness. be like buddha, have your own revelations. i'm not saying that we all have to now go off and build our own cabins in the woods and never talk to each other again, but i am saying that we could all stand to unplug and get inside our own heads a little more often.
number three: take a good look at what's inside your own suitcase and why you put it there. so extroverts, maybe your suitcases are also full of books. or maybe they're full of champagne glasses or skydiving equipment. whatever it is, i hope you take these things out every chance you get and grace us with your energy and your joy. but introverts, you being you, you probably have the impulse to guard very carefully what's inside your own suitcase. and that's okay. but occasionally, just occasionally, i hope you will open up your suitcases for other people to see, because the world needs you and it needs the things you carry.

My Oscar Dream
On the night of March 1, the 76th Annual Academy Awards was shown on television. After watching it, I had a dream, a sudden wish, that some day, I could receive an Oscar award, or a nomination, for a movie Ive made.
While I was schooling in Australia, my friends from school and I received a n assignment one day, "To make a ten to twenty minute movie on the topic of your choice." At the time, the trend was based around the popular Matrix movie trilogy, so that became our obvious choice.
Because our schedule was very tight, and it was a first time experience, we found it all very hard work, but when we released our production at school, it was worth it. After my friends and I showed the movie, we could not get from one end of the school to the other without getting congratulated about five or six times. We, especially I, were proud. We made a school-wide sensation.
From then on, I became obsessed with how to make movies and how filming is done. I just wanted to know about everyone and everything that has something to do with movies. I would watch a movie four to five times, just to find out how one camera angle, or special effect was produced. I found everything I watched quite amazing. I sometimes admired directors and producers of these films because the techniques they use are so smart. Their cleverness inspired me to make and act in movies.
When I become little bit older, I would like to attend a movie academy in Beijing or Shanghai, then America, or England, after some training and experience, I would like to make a movie, which will most likely be an action movie, which is my favorite kind of movie to watch.. Today I am going to tell you a true story about a life-altering event that happened to an old hunter from Tibet’s northern lands.
Early in the morning, the hunter saw a group of Tibetan antelopes on grass hill near his tent. He rushed out of his tent and mounted his horse with his rifle. The antelopes all quickly ran away except one. A strong, fat one ran only a few steps and came back. It looked imploringly at him, stepped up towards him and then knelt on its knees with tears streaming down from its eyes. It is a commonplace among moralists that you cannot get happiness by pursuing it. This is only true if you pursue it unwisely. Gamblers at Monte Carlo are pursuing money, and most of them lose it instead, but there are other ways of pursuing money, which often succeed. So it is with happiness. If you pursue it by means of drink, you are forgetting the hangover. Epicurus pursued it by living only in congenial society and eating only dry bread, supplemented by a little cheese on feast days. Artists and authors and men of science get happiness in this way if their own work seems good to them. But there are many humbler forms of the same kind of pleasure. Many men who spend their working life in the city devote their weekends to voluntary and unremunerated toil in their gardens, and when the spring comes, they experience all the joys of having created beauty. The whole subject of happiness has, in my opinion, been treated too solemnly.
It had been thought that man cannot be happy without a theory of life or a religion. Perhaps those who have been rendered unhappy by a bad theory may need a better theory to help them to recover, just as you may need a tonic when you have been ill. But when things are normal a man should be healthy without a tonic and happy without a theory. It is the simple things that really matter. If a man delights in his wife and children, has success in work, and finds pleasure in the alternation of day and night, spring and autumn, he will be happy whatever his philosophy may be. If, on the other hand, he finds his wife fateful, his children’s noise unendurable, and the office a nightmare; if in the daytime he longs for night, and at night sighs for the light of day, then what he needs is not a new philosophy but a new regimen--a different diet, or more exercise, or what not. Man is an animal, and his happiness depends on his physiology more than he likes to think. This is a humble conclusion, but I cannot make myself disbelieve it. Unhappy businessmen, I am convinced, would increase their happiness more by walking six miles every day than by any conceivable change of philosophy.

Stepping into the new century environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as water pollution air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. where all these pollution comes from? To a large extend the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street the gas stations are short of gasoline even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline but it’s still not working. Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance. However the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

大家好，期中考试刚刚过去，经过这一段时间的学*，相信同学们已经查漏补缺，认识到了自己的不足。转眼间，还剩下一个多月的学*时间，初一生活就将向我们挥手告别。我们要利用这一个多月的时间，把初一画上一个完美的句号，为今后更加繁重的学*任务打下坚实的基础。
对于绝大多数同学来说，英语始终是心头大患。我与大家经历相同，从4年级便被扣上了这顶帽子，每一次考试，英语总是给我拖后腿，但在一次次摸索中，我也在不断进步，总结了一些经验。正所谓"方向不对，努力白费"，正确的学*方法会使我们的学*效率大大提高，从而达到事半功倍的目的。下面是我总结的一些学*英语的经验，希望可以供同学们参考。
第一，做好课堂笔记，顾名思义，课堂笔记便是利用课堂时间将老师所讲的重点、难点、疑点记下，千万不可以"手懒"，对于知识零碎的英语来说更是如此，好记性不如烂笔头。然后是回顾笔记，回顾笔记才是做笔记的重点，建议大家，周末时专门抽出时间回顾一下当周所做的笔记，这样能有效地缓解紧张的心理，可以让你在下一周的学*中得心应手。举个我自己的例子吧，记得有一次英语抽测，我抱着侥幸的心理，没有做好复*工作，所以考试前就开始临时抱佛脚，结果到了最后，根本没有时间复*完，考试时慌慌张张，考得一塌糊涂。所以说，做好笔记对于学生来说十分重要。
第二，整理回顾错题，对于很多同学来说，都能做到整理错题，但重点是我们不仅仅要整理，更要回顾与反思。所谓"好马不吃回头草"对我们学生万万不可适用，要想成功挤过中考这座独木桥，就必须回顾自己的错题，也防止再出现类似的失误。再举个例子吧，我开始和很多同学一样只是纠一下错，之后就不管了，但是有一次考试，我真记得做过某一题，就是忘了怎么做，结果不仅没做出题，心情也糟糕透顶，考试结果可想而知惨不忍睹，后来我学着经常回顾错题本，慢慢地积累，厚积薄发，考试也不再出现类似的失误。
第三，要利用零碎的时间。英语是一门需要长期积累的科目，知识点很多，一定要好好利用互联网、学*机和其他移动方便的设备，更不用说书籍和杂志这样的传统学*资源!你完全可以在课间、排队、午休等时间记几个单词，要养成"天天英语"的'*惯，每天按老师的要求作一篇完形阅读，坚持天天听英语。其实学英语的过程更像是一朵云的形成，是水汽的一点点积累;而不像砌一面墙那样，把砖堆上去就好。

i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.
every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years. my father always stands in the center of my life， from past till now and possibly in the future.
my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby， small room rented from my father's factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.
but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese,surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.
when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.
i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.

As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy (列夫、托尔斯泰)said, “Ideal is the beacon(烟火、灯塔). Without ideal, there is no secure (无虑的, 安全的, 安心的', 可靠的, 保险的)direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible(.明智的, 有感觉的, 明理的) will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together.
As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do .But everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse (交往、交流), your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.
Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of reality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing 追逐our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time!

As I'm sure all of you know, this campus was once home to Yenching University which was founded by American missionaries. Many of its wonderful buildings were designed by an American architect. Thousands of Americans students and professors have come here to study and teach. We feel a special kinship with you.
I am, however, grateful that this day is different in one important respect from another important occasion 79 years ago. In June of 1919, the first president of Yenching University, John Leighton Stuart, was set to deliver the very first commencement address on these very grounds. At the appointed hour, he appeared, but no students appeared. They were all out leading the May 4th Movement for China's political and cultural renewal. When I read this, I hoped that when I walked into the auditorium today, someone would be sitting here. And I thank you for being here, very much. (Applause.)
Over the last 100 years, this university has grown to more than 20,000 students. Your graduates are spread throughout China and around the world. You have built the largest university library in all of Asia. Last year, 20 percent of your graduates went abroad to study, including half of your math and science majors. And in this anniversary year, more than a million people in China, Asia, and beyond have logged on to your web site. At the dawn of a new century, this university is leading China into the future.

For most people, the pursuit of happiness, unless supplemented in various ways, is too abstract and theoretical to be adequate as a personal rule of life. But I think that whatever personal rule of life you may choose it should not, except in rare and heroic cases, be incompatible with happiness. If you look around at the men and women whom you can call happy, you will see that they all have certain things in common.
The most important of these things is an activity which at most gradually builds up something that you are glad to see coming into existence. Women who take an instinctive pleasure in their children can get this kind of satisfaction out of bringing up a family. Artists and authors and men of science get happiness in this way if their own work seems good to them. But there are many humbler forms of the same kind of pleasure. Many men who spend their working life in the city devote their weekends to voluntary and unremunerated toil in their gardens, and when the spring comes, they experience all the joys of having created beauty. The whole subject of happiness has, in my opinion, been treated too solemnly.
It had been thought that man cannot be happy without a theory of life or a religion. Perhaps those who have been rendered unhappy by a bad theory may need a better theory to help them to recover, just as you may need a tonic when you have been ill. But when things are normal a man should be healthy without a tonic and happy without a theory. It is the simple things that really matter. If a man delights in his wife and children, has success in work, and finds pleasure in the alternation of day and night, spring and autumn, he will be happy whatever his philosophy may be. If, on the other hand, he finds his wife fateful, his children’s noise unendurable, and the office a nightmare; if in the daytime he longs for night, and at night sighs for the light of day, then what he needs is not a new philosophy but a new regimen--a different diet, or more exercise, or what not. Man is an animal, and his happiness depends on his physiology more than he likes to think. This is a humble conclusion, but I cannot make myself disbelieve it. Unhappy businessmen, I am convinced, would increase their happiness more by walking six miles every day than by any conceivable change of philosophy.
