一转眼几天过去了，这天，粗心大意的表弟给它喂食，喂完食就蹦蹦跳跳地走了。过了一会儿我过去一看，“哎呀！不好啦！鹦鹉不见啦！”我惊叫起来。大人们跑来一看，发现笼门大开，屋里的窗户是关着的，它还在屋里！大人们开始了“地毯式搜鸟行动”。十分钟过去了，二十分钟过去了，半小时过去了……就在我们快放弃时，一道清脆悦耳的鸟叫响了起来，我们顺着声音一看，它在笼子里玩得可欢啦！原来它趁我们不注意，又回到笼子里了。我赶紧跑过去把笼子关好。事后，表弟被大人们气急败坏地训了一顿后又因为我的添油加醋被狠狠地打了一顿。
“呀！你个臭姐姐！看我怎么打你报仇！”
“不怪我！都是鹦鹉惹的祸！”我一边说一边三十六计，走为上策！
贝萌樱是我的宠物鹦鹉，它很乖，偶尔小调皮。
它的羽毛色泽鲜艳，五彩缤纷，黄绿色构成了她身体色彩的主要部分，尾尖沾一点淡紫色，全身又恰到好处地点缀了其它的色彩。它的小眼睛圆滚滚的，显现出十分可爱的样子，充满了对世界的好奇。*日里它总喜欢摇头晃脑，好像在故意引人多看两眼。刚见到它时，它的嘴里正调皮地含着一块小贝壳，萌萌地看着我，让我忍俊不禁。叔叔告诉我这只小鹦鹉最喜欢吃樱桃，我急中生智，即兴给它起了名字：贝萌樱。
除了樱桃，小贝也爱吃小米，它吃小米时发出的声音就好象一种音乐，急促而又节奏，声音确是轻轻的。在一次的喂食中，我无意间有了个发现：它在吃小谷和樱桃的时候各有不同的技巧。
它的舌头根据嘴形变化长成，舌头里面是*的，但舌尖就成往下钩的了。吃谷粒的时候，它用尖锐的嘴壳划破谷皮，用舌头一勾，谷粒就出来了；吃樱桃的时候，它的嘴壳和舌头不断地配合着，一个磨，一个勾，不一小会，樱桃就只剩一个核了。每次看到这一幕，我心里就暗自高兴：真是只聪明的鹦鹉。
但是不知道过了多少天，它似乎越来越没有精神了，之前我从它边上走过它都会很兴奋，而这几天，每次我从它身边走过，它都无精打采，我望着它，重叹一口气，然后陷入深思。
而有一天傍晚，我好像突然明白了它的'心思。其实它只是转身望了我一眼，在一个瞬间，我立刻看懂了它的眼神。它渴望大自然的生活，绿色天然的家，和其它鸟儿无忧无虑的生活。我久久凝望着它，最终我做出决定：我要让它回归大自然，给它自由与快乐！
一个周末的早晨，我来到公园的小树林里，这个公园为鸟儿们准备了很多的人工鸟巢，想必是鸟儿们梦想的天堂吧？我手里握着几颗樱桃喂给小贝吃，吃完它就飞走了。它拍打着翅膀，时不时转头望我，像是和我道别。
和小贝在一起的一年时光是我最宝贵的回忆，不知它现在过得好不好？
一天，我在花鸟市场买了两只与众不同的虎皮鹦鹉，一只蓝色，另外一只黄加绿，不带“虎纹”，尾羽是黄的，不像普通品种那样呈深蓝色。
原先，我一直很想知道为什么会有这样的虎皮鹦鹉。但我现在已经有答案了。（虽然只是猜测，但一定有道理）：蓝鹦鹉是普通鹦鹉缺少黄色素造成的，常见品种肚皮是绿的，绿-黄-蓝，成立。那为什么它头部不像常见的虎皮鹦鹉那样黑黄相间，而是黑白相间的呢？因为没黄色素，它就变得跟孟加拉虎一样啦！至于另一只，因为缺少黑色素，虎纹自然就消失了。
蓝鼻子的是公鹦鹉，肉色鼻子的是母鹦鹉。我的鹦鹉刚好是一对的，但都才两三个月大，4个月大时才算成年，暑假结束才有机会看到蛋！呜……网上说十月以后得放一巢箱进去，否则它们就无法筑巢产卵了。
它们经常把笼子周围弄得一团糟，小米壳散落一地，妈妈拖地时经常是刚清理完，那些“捣蛋鬼”就又“摆好攻势”了。于是我们在下面垫了报纸，但道高一尺，魔高一丈，它们竟把壳又弄出了报纸外！真令人哭笑不得。
有时它们站在杆子上无聊，就不停地用力拍打翅膀，在笼顶和杆子之间扑腾，鹦鹉的翅膀看上去非常小，但飞起来翼展仍然很宽，也许是因为羽毛高度重叠，导致翅膀看上去很小。
它们的嘴内部结构一定十分精密，它仅靠一只舌头，就能对小米粒进行剥皮并将皮吐出，相比之下，松鼠它们还上不了“剥壳榜”呢！说到嘴，它们还有一个特点能让你大跌眼镜！那就是：我的两只虎皮鹦鹉的喙尖竟有一颗牙齿！我只知道一部分猛禽才有这样的特点啊！现在大部分人都认同有个观点：恐龙没有全部灭绝，而是进化成了鸟类。莫非它们和猛禽有共同的较凶猛的恐龙祖先？然后因为环境不同而进化成了完全不同的物种，但牙齿并没完全退化？不过它们的牙可一点也不白！倒是有些透明。
因为爸爸忘了关鸟笼门，蓝鹦鹉有2次逃了出来，但它每次都是站在笼顶发呆，而后被抓回，可能是留恋那些食物吧！虽在笼里待着，它们仍忘不了飞行，蓝鹦鹉飞起来仍快如闪电，但若不惊动它，它依然不会逃。
两只鹦鹉有时会相互模仿，黄的在杆上来回走动，然后蓝色的便在下面跟着跳，但它们很难学我们说话。
虎皮鹦鹉真有趣。
我家有一只可爱的小鹦鹉，淡黄色的羽毛，一双紫水晶般的小眼睛整天滴溜溜地转动，可有神啦！它很时尚，穿着一双红色的小皮鞋，你只要看上一眼就会喜欢上它。它还有一个非常可爱、好听的名字----黄豆。
小黄豆的脾气可古怪了，有时好，有时坏。好的时候，它就倒挂在笼子上方，向我们展示它美丽的体操，同时还唧唧地叫着，那叫声长短不同，粗细各异，好像在问我们它表演的好不好，又好像在引起我们每个人的重视。而且只要你把手指伸进笼子，它就会轻轻地咬你。而一旦它不高兴，就会变成另一幅模样，只见它在笼子里乱飞，一会儿咬笼子，一会儿大叫，一会儿又使劲抖翅膀，弄得家里到处都是掉落的羽毛和空谷子皮。每当这时，妈妈就气得直说：“再这样就打开笼子放你出去，看你再乱不乱飞。”可是小黄豆依然我行我素，它才不理这一套呢！妈妈每次也只好无奈地摇头。
小黄豆吃食时可有趣了。它将一粒谷子吞入嘴里，拿舌头一顶，谷子皮就掉了出来，所以每次笼子外都是它吐出来的谷子皮，让人觉得很脏。可是，你决不会责打它，它是那么可爱！每吃一粒，它都会抬起头看看你，冲你唧唧地叫，好像在说：“谢谢你。谢谢你！”一旦吃饱喝足，它就跳上栏杆，上下翻转，开始它的体操锻炼，那滑稽可爱的样子逗得我们直笑。
它玩耍时，就更可爱了。每天清晨一醒来，它先高歌一曲，然后
在笼子里跳上窜下，从吊环的这边穿过环飞到那边，或者一只爪子倒挂在环上转圈，另一只爪子向你招手做完这一切，它就又开始高唱，这时，你若叫它一声或对它吹口哨，它立刻学着你的样子叫起来，一边叫一边歪着头，好像在问：“小主人，我学得像不像？”
玩了一阵，它累了，
该休息了，就站在杆子上，一动不动，闭上眼睛，任凭多大的动静，它都不睁开。
小鹦鹉来我家已经一年多了，它一天天的长大，不管别人怎么看它，在我的心中，它始终是那么活泼可爱，我喜欢我的小鹦鹉。
听说八哥很聪明，别人说的话，它一听就学会了。但是鹦鹉也不甘示弱。虽然是比八哥蠢了一点，至少也比它漂亮得多了。
上一年，我爸爸买了两只可爱又漂亮的鹦鹉送给我做生日礼物。我高兴得活蹦乱跳的样子，举起鸟笼舞着，只见它们惊慌得尖叫着，用翅膀使劲儿拍打着。我最喜欢浅蓝色的那只了。它的肚子是浅蓝色的绒毛，两边的翅膀一斑斑的黑线，好像斑马身上的花纹。嘴巴像鹰嘴似的。可是不幸，另外一只黄色的鹦鹉在一次饥荒中饿死了。
今天，我看着鸟笼里只剩下一只我最喜欢的鹦鹉——浅蓝色的那只。只见它呆立着不动，圆碌碌的小眼睛显出孤独的神情，已经没有惜日的活泼了。我知道这是因为和它生活在一起的伙伴在一瞬间消失了。这时，我小声的在它耳边悄悄地说：“你现在很孤独吧！”它转过头，小眼睛一闪一烁地，翅膀拍打着，用它们小鸟的语言回答我：叽叽……!”我抱怨着，真想给它找个朋友，还一只孤独鹦鹉的一个小小的心愿。
暑假里的一天，我刚踏进门口，老远就听见从阳台里传来一阵阵：“叽叽喳喳”的声音。我问爷爷是怎么回事。只见爷爷神秘地说：“你去看看就知道了！”我三步并作两步地去看个究竟。看见鸟笼里突然多了一只鹦鹉！这时，爷爷才走出来，说：“今天我在阳台上晾衣服，这只鹦鹉就站在桂树上，我就捉了它放进鸟笼里，那时它还没有挣扎呢！”我想：这肯定是上帝赠给这只孤独鹦鹉的礼物。我问那只浅蓝色的鹦鹉：“你现在不孤独了吧！” 还没等它回应，它的新朋友已经抢着回答: “喳喳……!”
经常看见它们形影不离的身影，看看那只浅蓝色的鹦鹉，又恢复以前活泼的样子了。有时候，那只顽皮的浅绿色鹦鹉靠*浅蓝色鹦鹉的身旁，在它耳边窃窃私语，好像有什么不可告人的秘密。
我喜欢这两只活泼可爱的鹦鹉，陪我度过了这个漫长的假期！
