Nowadays, more and more university graduates complain that graduation does not equate to employment. They experience great difficulties finding satisfactory jobs. What is the cause of this phenomenon
In my opinion, there are four causes:
First, graduates lack experience. They spend most of their time at school studying academic subjects and lack relevant job training. Only after graduation do they realize it's hard to find jobs.
Second, competition among graduates grows more bitter and more bitter and bitter. The sup*** of university graduates exceeds social demand. This results in a decreased chance for any individual graduate to find a job.
Third, some students don't study hard. Some of them skip classes just because they have no interest in certain subjects. Some play computer games or pursue other interests. Some sleep in class or in the library. They can hold part-time jobs in their spare time to accumulate relevant work experience. They should take part in some social activities and provide themselves with special training, if possible. When they graduate and ap*** for jobs, they should attach more importance to accumulating experience than to their starting salary.
good morning ladies and gentlemen. today i’m very glad to be here with you to share my stories and opinions about reading. i love reading from the bottom of my heart. and i do learn a lot from books. i know the wonderful stories of great heroes in history, secrets of nature, mysteries of ufo and our universe. to me , books are like a faithful friend, always around me , giving me enjoyment and wisdom.
i remember when i was in primary school, ten or eleven years old, my father borrowed some books from the library in his school. those were among the greatest works of the world, including abrabian nights、the legend of deification, journey to the west, and the romance of the three kingdoms. these books were all written in ancient chinese characters but i tried to read the heavy books and were dee*** attracted. from then on, i spared every minute to read whatever i could get. whenever i got a new book, i kept reading until i finished it despite time and place. i read books even in class or just a few minutes before the exams. in my mind, there is always an unforgettable scene: lying in bed, nervous but excited, my friend and i read a book together in the weak light of a flashlight , with a quilt on us, in order not to be blamed by parents. all my classmates thought i was crazy and gave me a nickname “bookworm”. so you can understand why i got my eyes shortsighted.
till now, i still like reading as i used to. and i’m very pleased to see that my ten-year-old son loves reading just like me. i have bought him many books. whenever you come into my home, you can find books in every corner. but the place where my son and i enjoy reading most is in the toilet. so it often happens in the morning: one is in the toilet reading something comfortably, while another walking outside , shouting. for my age, i like to read magazines or short stories to get relaxation as well as inspiration.
today we live in a world of prosperity. never before have we faced so many temptation from the outside world. never before have we had so many chances to enjoy our lives. we drive rather than walking; we go online to chat with people we’ve never met before instead of talking to friends around us. but there’s always something that cannot be replaced and forgotten., such as books. so i will allow myself to continue the journey in the ocean of books until the very end of my life.
finally, i’d like to end my speech with a great philosopher, writer and thinker, francis bacon’s famous saying: reading makes a full man. studies serve for delight, for ornament, and for ability.

First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”
Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20xx Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.
Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?
I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”
For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 20xx Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! the duality of money has been puzzling people since its first appearante. on the one hand, clean money can sweeten your life, help you succeed and be your lifelong faithful companion. on the other hand, dirty money may posion your mind, ruin your happiness and discard you suddenly as a false friend.
the market economy tells us that everyone should earn a living by selling something. professors sell their knowledge, workers sell their labor, farmers sell their produce. money now appears more powerful than anything else and drives people crazy. the temptation of money often challenges one's honor. we are not ashamed to make more money to have a better life by our sweat. however,there is a widespread concern that millionaires become the heroes no matter whether they make any contribution to our society. some people try desperately to make big money, which, more often than not, end up with degradation, corruption and crime.
though money is indispensable to our life, dirty money may drag us into hell. there are many things no money can buy. we will keep our honor intact at any cost because it is our soul. love of money is the root of all evil. for myself, i would rather die than dishonor myself for money.

改变自己方能适应这世界的不停变化，改变自己方能朝着自己期望的方向发展，改变自己方能在这个社会中生存。改变自己，是我们生存的必要手段。如果一成不变，我们就会因为无法适应这个社会而被慢慢淘汰，就会因为不停逃避而陷入绝境之中。改变自己，因为我们必须改变自己。改变自己，从一无是处变成无可挑剔，从无能变成无所不能，从*凡无奇变成独一无二。改变自己，就要不停奔跑，朝着希望奔跑，朝着梦想奔跑，朝着成功奔跑。

经过休整，我们可以总结我们一路走来的收获：之前的失败里受到教训、之前的成功里学到的经验，这些都是我们人生路上的珍宝，都是我们前行的助力。但是我们不能贪图眼前的享受，不能因为眼前的一枝春而放弃了远方的繁花似锦。你不奔跑，没有人会停下来等着你，即使是远方的风景也会慢慢改变，让你再也看不见。

大家好！有时，一分钟很长，有时，却又很短。心相印的纸巾外包装上有一句很有意思的话：“有时候一分钟很长，有时候又很短。”爱因斯坦相对论来解释就是：把手放在滚烫的壁炉上一分钟就像一小时那么久；和美女在一起一小时，你却会觉得只有一分钟那么短。
客观的时间并不会因为我们的主观感受而变长或者变短，一分钟就是一分钟。然而，我们却可以根据我们心理的的变化，来感受时间的快慢。心理研究发现，同样是一分钟，在不同的情况，那种感觉是不一样的。
当我们做自己不愿做的事情时，每一分钟都觉得是漫长的煎熬！当我们做自己喜欢的事情时，就忽略了时间的流逝，回过神来才发现，时间过得那么的快！
上一节乏味的课时，一分钟很长；听一节有趣的课时，一分钟很短。闲着无聊时，一分钟很长；急需时间时，一分钟很短。
假如，我的演讲足够精彩，那么在坐的各位将觉得是美的享受，一分钟很短。可是，如果我的演讲乏味无趣，短短的几分钟，对大家来说，也许就是漫长的煎熬。

90后的我们聪明好学。但有时候也犯糊涂。我们活泼但也顽皮。

大家早上好！今天由我来为大家进行课前三分钟的演讲，我感到十分的荣幸。今天我演讲的主题就是自信。
不知道大家有没有听过这么一句话：“我宁愿选择骄傲也不选择自卑。因为骄傲需要资本，资本需要积累，积累需要汗水，而自卑却什么也不需要。”这句话是我在看乔松楼将军在复旦大学演讲视频时偶然间听到的。
每个人的人生都并非一帆风顺，并非永无波浪的湖面。而是一场充满艰辛，坎坷，曲折，充满挑战与挫折的旅途。属于我们的每一个新的一天都是一次挑战。在迎接每日的朝阳时，我们需要足够的自信来克服遇到的困难，不要一遇到一点困难就觉得是世界末日了，其实都会过去的，并没有那么困难。
爱因斯坦的“相对论”发表之后，有人曾炮制了一本《百人驳相对论》，网罗了一批所谓名流对这一理论进行声势浩大的挞伐。可是，爱因斯坦自信自己的理论必然胜利，对哒伐不屑一顾。他说：“假如我的理论是错的，一个人反驳就够了，一百个零加起来还是零。”
同学们，或许我们无法成为像爱因斯坦一样成为为社会做出极大贡献的人。但我们依旧应该向他一样自信的面对一切，面对困难，面对挫折，或许前面有很多的机会在等着我们。
居里夫人说过：“我们应该有恒心，尤其要有自信心！我们必须相信，我们的天赋是要用来做某种事情的，无论发生什么事情，活着的人总要照常工作。”正是自信，支持她在经受了失恋、丧夫、社会上的流言蜚语等打击之后，两次荣获了诺贝尔奖，为人类的科学事业做出了巨大的贡献。
我一直都坚信，自信是一种力量，一种引领我们坚持的力量。无论身处顺境，还是逆境，都应该微笑地，*静地面对人生，有了自信，生活便有了希望。“天生我材必有用”，哪怕命运之神一次次把我们捉弄，只要拥有自信，拥有一颗自强不息、积极向上的心，成功迟早会属于你的。
亲爱的同学们，从今天开始，从现在开始，我们都可以把汗水的积累转化为骄傲，自信的资本。以舍我其谁也的雄心壮志面对我们应该面对的每一次考验。让我们的学*生活成为人生光彩绚丽的回忆。

XX年，来自欧洲的殖民者在美洲经历了一场恐慌：在如今美国田纳西地区东部，人们发现大量的蝉仿佛一夜之间从地底冒出，每公顷数百万只蝉、一棵树下约4万个孔，这实在让人害怕。几个星期过后，蝉儿销声匿迹。不过，令人诧异的是，XX年之后，这段历史又重新上演了一次;而再过了17年，“没有改写的剧本”重被搬出;直到XX年，正好是23次。由此得出一项结论，那里的蝉生命周期就是17年。
这一现象引起了科学家的注意，多年来大量的实际观测数据表明，蝉的生命周期大都为质数。比如，科学家发现，在北美洲北部地区其周期为17年，而在北美洲南部地区都是XX年，亚洲的蝉周期为5年、3年。为什么是17、13、5、3等质数，而不是偶数呢?
进化论给了这个问题一个比较合理的答案。
生物学家们认为，蝉最初可能具有各种不同的生命周期，如1、2、3、4、5、6、13、17年等。但对于不同生命周期的蝉而言，其遭遇天敌的几率是不同的。如果蝉的生命周期是偶数，如12年，那么它每次登陆地面的时候，都会不幸碰见那些生命周期为1年、2年、3年、4年、6年以及12年的天敌，使得种群生存受威胁，这些生命周期为偶数的蝉就会因为在生存竞争中处于劣势而被淘汰掉。
与此相反的是，生命周期是质数的蝉，则幸运多了，因为它们可以大大降低在地面与天敌遭遇的几率，从而一代一代顽强地生存下来。在漫长的进化过程中，剩下大量这些3、5、13、17年等质数周期的蝉就恰恰是“物竞天择，适者生存”的极好证明。
对此理论，在XX年，德国马普学会分子生理学研究所以及智利大学的科学家们通过实验，给予了合理的证明。他们建立了一个“猎人-猎物”的数学模型———即将蝉比作“猎物”，其天敌比作“猎人”———用数论证明了蝉选择质数作为生命周期可以稳定地保存种群数量。
蝉的生命质数现象，说到底是一种躲避天敌的策略，是进化过程中自然选择导致的结果，是一种极为普通的生物现象。在漫长的流年岁月中，一代一代的蝉儿在“知了知了”的叫声中逝去，它们不知道，神秘的大自然在为它们精确计算着各自的“天命”。这种“天命”运用到社会生活中，就是禅的哲学。
经商也好、科研也好、学*也好，必须注重“新、奇、特”。千人齐挤独木桥，必定会有大-片落水者;万人竞上羊肠道，必定会有许多掉崖者。只有“新、奇、特”，才会像那些生命周期是质数的蝉一样，在可能的情况下尽量减少“天敌”，才有可能更好地生存。

桌椅上留着乱涂乱画的痕迹；
水龙头开着，让水肆意的流失；
美丽的草坪、花圃上留着无情的脚印；
塑料袋、包装盒、果皮纸屑扔得满地都是，在其他同学午晚休的时候，宿舍楼内外高声的喧哗，打破了这一片宁静。这些现象与我们美丽、文明、和谐的校园多么不协调！
我们崇尚文明，我们都需要生活在干净、整洁、美丽的环境中，然而，为什么我们总把打扫、维护的希望寄托在别人身上？为什么总是毫不怜惜的践踏这片宁静与美丽？为什么总是逃脱作为X中一份子的责任？

早上好！
今天我讲话的题目是《成功在于坚持》。
首先我想与大家分享一个有趣的故事：这个故事发生在古希腊。开学第一天，大哲学家苏格拉底对学生说：“今天咱们只学一件最简单
也是最容易做的事。每人把胳膊尽量往前甩。”说着，苏格拉底示范了一遍，并要求学生们从今天开始，每天做300下，学生们都笑了，这么简单的事，有什么做不到的！可过了一个月，苏格拉底再问学生们，能够坚持下来还有90%。又过了一个月，坚持下来的学生只剩下八成。一年后，苏格拉底再一次问大家，这时，整个教室里，只有一人举起了手。这个学生就是后来成为古希腊另一位大哲学家的柏拉图。
这个小故事所蕴含的深刻含意是显而易见的，的确，我们干什么事，要取得成功，坚持不懈的毅力和持之以恒的精神都是必不可少的。成功之路，贵在坚持。谁能坚持到底，谁应能获得成功，众所周知，贝尔发明了电话，可他所做的仅仅是将电话中一个螺母转动了4。1周，而之前的大量工作是由爱迪生等科学家完成的。双方为此走上了法庭，法庭最终将发明权判给贝尔。原因是爱迪生等科学家虽然做了大量工作，但还是放弃了对电话的研究。可贝尔没有放弃，正是那4。1周，使电话有了实际用途，爱迪生等科学家并非没有那个能力，只是在发明电话时缺少了一份坚持，才会与成功擦身而过，有许多伟大成就都正在于一份坚持。
九十九度加一度水就开了。开水与温水的在于这一度之差。有些事之所以天壤之别，往往也正因为这一度之差。同学们，当困难拌住你成功脚步的时候；当失败挫伤你进取雄心的时候；当负担压得你喘不过气的时候，不要退缩，不要放弃，一定要坚持下去，因为只有坚持不懈，才能走向成功！

当他们完成了各项伟业的时候，他们一定会说：如此的这种变态，怎么可能不成功？！
同学们：
俗话说：“笑一笑，十年少”。其实，微笑不仅能让你年轻，还是一座沟通人际关系的桥梁，一剂化解人们矛盾的良药。
你听说过关于日本原一*先生的故事吗？
原一*本是一位极其普通*凡的保险推销员，他相貌**，身高只有158厘米，但是，他为什么能成为日本家喻户晓，妇孺皆知的名人呢？正是因为他有事没事就研究微笑，对着一面随身携带的小镜子练*，并把这些微笑应用到工作中去，才走向了成功，成为鼎鼎有名的人。

记得一次去医院看病，我坐在椅子上排队等待，一个男的对着护士说：“你们这是怎么搞的？医生约了我上午9点整来，你自己看看都已经9点40分了。”我本以为护士肯定会以牙还牙，然后两人会大动干戈，谁知，护士却微笑着对那个男的说：“先生，实在很抱歉，人太多了，我进去帮您看看，也催一下。请您稍等。”过了一会儿，只看见那个护土微笑着说：“先生，到您了，请进去。”我不禁佩服起这个护士来，过了一会儿，那个男的出来了，他找到刚才一直对他微笑的护土，诚恳地说：“刚才实在对不起，请原谅。”护士依旧微笑着说：“没关系的。”
可见，微笑有时候还能化干戈为玉帛。
每天你给别人一个真诚的微笑，别人也会给你一个微笑。
微笑能让别人对你所怀的顾虑在一瞬间消失；
微笑能让你与别人的关系融洽；

像往常一样，课前三分钟轮到我做励志演讲。我演讲的题目是乐观的生活态度。

The tempo of modern civilization has been much quickened in the last twenty years. While witnessing the dramatic changes in the better-off society, people begin to reconsider the question of "survival". "Survival" in the old sense does not bother us anymore. Instead, we are more concerned about how to "survive" in the human world full of competition.
Competition always carries abreast challenges and opportunities to everyone involved. It might appear in an entrance exam, in a regular class, or in a small public speech. Those who fail to detect its real nature-whether an opportunity or a challenge a competition really is- will lose something more or less conducive to our growth. Of course, if we take the competition as an opportunity, we will favor it intentionally because they can help us outstand from the average; they will make us become the focus of public attention; they will grant us more chances and rights to succeed. As a matter of fact, opportunities are supposed to be more perceptible and welcoming than challenges. The truth is, however, we will lose more opportunities when we choose to take the "opportunity" fork at the crossroads. The other fork, ignored by us and defined as "fearful challenges", offers much more chances for the walker in competition.
We have such an inclination in life to overestimate ourselves and hold a thoughtless attitude towards the negative outlook of things.
We believe in the old saying, "Opportunity knocks but just once," so we always welcome it and devote all our spirit and efforts to it. The most devout believer of this saying are the graduates. Why? There are quite a number of them who pay full attention to positions in big cities and are willing to flood into developed areas under any circumstances, even though there will be too much uncertainty for their choices. Innumerable cases go straight to the same miserable end: God seems to refuse to help too many of His worshipers.
In conclusion, to define the quality of competition seems to be far from valuable sense, for no matter what a competition is, an opportunity or a challenge, it will create nutritious elements for our growth.
So take a positive look at everything around. Keep our face to the sunshine, and we will not see the shadows.
In front of challenge there are 5 players.
The first player creates opportunity.
The second one attempts opportunity.
The third waits for an opportunity coming, sitting there and crossing his fingers.:)
How about the next one, the fourth player? He just sim*** misses the opportunity.
Worse ever, the last contender ignores an opportunity under his eyes.
If we don't have guts to be the first player, at least, we can push out well-prepared to grasp any possible opportunity as does the second player.
you have spent so much time with other people, you have spent so much time trying to get people to like you, you know other people more than you know yourself. you’ve studied them, you know about them, you want to hang out with them, you want to be just like them. you’ve invested so much time on them, you don’t know who you are. i challenge you to spend time by yourself.
it’s necessary, that you get the losers out of your life, if you want to live your dream. but people who are running towards their dreams, life has a special kind of meaning. when you become the ‘right-person’, what you do is you start separating yourself from other people you begin to have a certain uniqueness, as long as you follow other people, as long as you are being a ‘copy-cat’, you will never ever be the best copy-cat in the world but you will be the best you can be!
i challenge you to define your value.
everybody won’t see it, everybody won’t join you, everybody won’t have the vision…it’s necessary to know that you are an uncommon breed. it’s necessary that you align yourself with people and attract people into your business, who are hungry, people who are unstoppable and unreasonable, people who are refusing to live life just as it is and who want more!the people that are living their dreams are parting with winners, to attach themselves to the and the people who are living their dreams are the people that know that if it’s going to happen it’s up to them!
if you want to be more successful, if you want to have and do stuff you never done before then i’m asking you to invest in you!
someones opinion of you does not have to become your reality.
you don’t have to go through life being a victim. and even though you face disappointments, you have to know within yourself that ‘i can do this, even if no one else sees it for me, i must see it for myself!’

as you slowly open your eyes, look around , notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air. yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day, it’s a different day, and it’s a bright day! and most importantly, it is a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new desicisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level! you know all this is real as long as you are confident,passionate and committed! and you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!
you will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways,approaching new people, and asking new questions. you will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take. you will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. you will never succumb to challenges of hardships. you will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. after all,you are the best, and you deserve the best!

some of you already know, that it’s hard, it’s not easy, it’s hard changing your life. that in the process of working on your dreams you are going to incur a lot of disappointment, a lot of failure, a lot of pain. there are moments that you are going to doubt yourself. you said, god why is this happening to me? i’m just trying to take care of my family, trying to give them a good life, i’m not trying to steal or rob from anybody. why does this have to happen to me. for those of you that have experienced some hardships – don’t give up on your dream.
the rough times are gonna come, but they have not come to stay, they have come to pass. greatness, is not this wonderful, esoteric, illusive, god like feature that only the special among can achieve. it’s something that truly exists, in all of us. it’s very important for you to believe that you are the one!
most people they raise a family, they earn a living and then they die. they stop growing, they stop working on themselves, they stop stretching, the stop pushing themselves. then a lot of people like to complain but they don’t wanna do anything about their situation. and most people don’t work on their dreams – why?
1. is because of fear, fear of failure “what if things don’t work out“?
2. is fair of success “what if they do and i can’t handle it?”

One already-completed building houses the perfect representation of this safe haven within the business district. The Golden Atrium Garden Restaurant is quite unlike anything one has come to expect from the city's freshly-flush property developers. The villa is tasteful, inviting and homely - a far cry from some of the hideous monstrosities that have spawned from the ground below in recent times.
In fact, the building looks like it belongs in a painting, a fact not lost on the establishment's proprietors. "We were looking to find a special peaceful place in Pudong," said Phylia Wang, co-founder of Golden Atrium. "This place, with the Pearl Tower in the background, is quite unique."
The restaurant owners were interested in a few key factors. Firstly, the surroundings had to be pleasant. That they certainly are. Despite the premises being located deep within the park, prominent signs on the main road point diners in the right direction.
Secondly, the interior had to be done to their satisfaction. "We didn't want it to look like it was done for the nouveau riche," the Chinese Taiwan resident said. "That meant no gaudy ornaments or glaring chandeliers."
The restaurant is wonderfully understated. The interior, which received the bulk of the US$1 million investment, would not disagree with minor European aristocracy. Simple, elegant furniture and quality finishing prove this to be money well spent, and not squandered on ostentatious ornamentation.
The art theme, which is the third leg of the owners' strategy, is central to the overall strategy. Wang, who is in the IT business, is also a massive art buff. Her refined manner of dress reveals her gentile manner; she is clearly a lady of exquisite taste. As such, her selection of the art work that hangs in the 140-seater continues her theme of simplicity wonderfully.
The top floor of the three-story building is a dedicated event space, with works on display by one-man-shows that rotate every few months. Until December 16, local artist Xu Wenhua's piece de resistance can be appreciated. The floor can hold about 90 people, and is perfect for basic events, business conferences or for wine tastings.
All this is jolly and good, but the basis of any restaurant is its food. Here, the Chinese Taiwanese chef delivers fare that is as grand as the building itself.
For 380 yuan (US$48) diners can tuck into a set menu offering braised shark's fin, deep-fried prawns with salt and pepper, and roasted pigeon. The bird is served slightly smoked, crisping the skin and impacting flavor without sacrificing juiciness and succulence. To finish the meal, vegetables and fried rice are served, followed by dessert.
Golden Atrium also offers set lunch menus starting at 98 yuan. Diners can choose a dim sum set or a typical Cantonese lunch of sweet and sour pork, kung pow chicken or beef stew, with vegetables and fried rice.
The restaurant takes itself seriously, but not too much so, which is a refreshing change. Almost as refreshing as the park itself.

Strong earthquake hits China
A powerful earthquake measuring 7.8 has hit China's southern province of Sichuan, shaking buildings as far away as Beijing, Shanghai and Bangkok.
It was not immediately clear if there were any casualties or damage from the tremor which the the US Geological Survey (UGS) earlier put at 7.8.
The epicentre of the quake was 93 kilometres north of Chengdu.
Wenchuan, which took full force of the quake, has a population of 111,000 people.
It is in an ethnic Tibetan area in Aba county which recently saw violent clashes between Tibetans and Chinese authorities.
According to some reports there was a second earthquake measuring 3.9 which hit the Beijing district of Tongzhou at roughly the same time.
Telephone lines in the affected area are jammed and there are still no reports of casualties.
Reports from Thailand say high buildings in Bangkok continued to shake several minutes after the tremors began.
"We felt continuous shaking for about two or three minutes. All the people in our office are rushing downstairs. We're still feeling slight tremblings," said an office worker in Chengdu.
China's tallest building, the Jinmao Tower, and other highrise buildings in Shanghai's financial district were evacuated after tremors were first felt.
"People were shouting 'get out, get out', so we all ran out of our dorm," said a student surnamed Zhang at a university in nearby Chongqing.
A spokesman for the China Earthquake Administration said it was still checking the epicentre and scale of the tremor.

“幸福的花枝，在命运之神手里，寻觅着要付与完全的人。”我在一旁批道：命运是公*的，它会毫不保留地将满天的灿烂星光照在坚持不懈的奋斗者身上。命运又是自私的，它绝不会将辉煌轻易施舍给懒汉!
冰心写道：“青年人呵!为着后来的回忆，小心着意的描你现在的图画。”我在一旁写：人的一生不正如同一张空白的画纸?要绘出一幅五彩的画。
自然，冰心的《繁星》给了我力量，给了我创新，启迪了我，开拓了我，使我明白了母亲，使我明白了自然，使我懂得了坚强。
“母亲呵!天上的风雨来了，鸟儿躲到它的巢里;心中的风雨来了，我只躲到你的怀中。”“母亲呵!这零碎的篇儿，你能看一看吗?这些字，在没有我以前，已隐藏在你的心怀里。”看来冰心十分爱她的母亲，她曾说过：“母亲是红莲，我是白荷，心中的风雨来了，谁为我遮风挡雨，是无私的默默的红莲。”我在这些诗旁若有所悟的一笔一划地写：“随风潜入夜，润物细无声。”涓涓的母爱如沥沥的细雨滋润着儿女们的一生。我接着写：有了母亲，人类才从洪荒苍凉走向文明繁盛;有了母亲，才有了生命的开始、历史的延续、理性的萌动、人性回归。
我想我明白了每个母亲怀孕时的辛苦与幸福，我不喜欢那些作家随便使用“分娩”这个词，他们哪知道母亲的伟大。
“怎能启动?夏之夜，明月下，幽栏独倚，粉红的莲花，深绿的荷盖，缟白的衣裳!”我的朋友!你曾登过高山么?你曾临过大海么?在那里，是否只有寂寥?只有自然无语?你的心中，是欢愉还是凄梦?”读着第一首诗“幽栏独倚、粉红莲火、深绿荷盖”，大自然是多么美好。读着第二首诗，心中不觉想到大海边那一堆堆随浪涌动、臭气四散的白色泡沫。面对这样的景象，那原本轻松愉快的心情一下落入冰点。在电视上看着那丛林茂密的森林大片地消失，我的心绞痛。
冰心有诗告诉我：“花儿低低地对看花的人说：少顾及我吧，我的朋友!让我安静地开放着，你们的爱是我的烦扰。”
“万千的天使，要起来歌颂小孩子。他细小的身躯里，含着最伟大的灵魂。”真理，在婴儿的沉默中，不在聪明人的辩论中。由此可以看出冰心最喜欢孩子，因为他们天真灿漫，履有童心，他们的心里是纯洁的，因为他还没有接触社会的险恶。和他们做朋友，你从不必担心他会欺骗你，他们会用一颗真诚的心与你做朋友。孩子是透明的，无一点保留。
“‘缺憾’呵!‘完全’需要你，在无数的你中，衬托出它来。倘若世间没有风和雨，这枝上繁花，又在何处?只惹得人心生烦厌。”
不容置疑，冰心又教会了我：如果成功变得很容易，无需奋斗就能达到的话，如果成功不是长时的积累，不需努力攀登的话，那成功就会变得很廉价，成功就失去了它原有的耀人的色泽，那成功要它干吗?

大家好！我演讲的题目是“只有合作，才能双赢”。
有两个饥饿的人有幸得到了一位长者的恩赐：一根鱼竿和一篓鲜鱼。其中，一个人要了鱼，吃完后便饿死了；另一个要了鱼竿，走向大海，但路途遥远，他走了好几天才到海边，还没来得及去钓鱼也饿得一命呜呼了。
鱼可以暂时充饥，但解决不了长远的生计问题；鱼竿可以用来解决未来的生计问题，但对眼前的饥饿却无能为力。
由此看来，只有将二者合起来，才能彻底解决眼前和长远的生计问题，只有两个人合作，一起享用这篓鲜鱼，一起走向海边，才有可能同时获救。但可惜得很，他俩拒绝合作，最终落了个双双命赴黄泉的悲惨结局。
这个故事生动地印证了巴尔扎克的一句名言：单独一个人可能灭亡，两个人在一起可能获救。当然，是指两个人合作起来共同创造生命的奇迹，但如果像上面那两个人一样你敲你的锣，我唱我的戏，最终也只能落个双败的结局。

XX年，来自欧洲的殖民者在美洲经历了一场恐慌：在如今美国田纳西地区东部，人们发现大量的蝉仿佛一夜之间从地底冒出，每公顷数百万只蝉、一棵树下约4万个孔，这实在让人害怕。几个星期过后，蝉儿销声匿迹。不过，令人诧异的是，XX年之后，这段历史又重新上演了一次;而再过了17年，“没有改写的剧本”重被搬出;直到XX年，正好是23次。由此得出一项结论，那里的蝉生命周期就是17年。
这一现象引起了科学家的注意，多年来大量的实际观测数据表明，蝉的生命周期大都为质数。比如，科学家发现，在北美洲北部地区其周期为17年，而在北美洲南部地区都是XX年，亚洲的蝉周期为5年、3年。为什么是17、13、5、3等质数，而不是偶数呢?
进化论给了这个问题一个比较合理的答案。
生物学家们认为，蝉最初可能具有各种不同的生命周期，如1、2、3、4、5、6、13、17年等。但对于不同生命周期的蝉而言，其遭遇天敌的几率是不同的。如果蝉的生命周期是偶数，如12年，那么它每次登陆地面的时候，都会不幸碰见那些生命周期为1年、2年、3年、4年、6年以及12年的天敌，使得种群生存受威胁，这些生命周期为偶数的蝉就会因为在生存竞争中处于劣势而被淘汰掉。
与此相反的是，生命周期是质数的蝉，则幸运多了，因为它们可以大大降低在地面与天敌遭遇的几率，从而一代一代顽强地生存下来。在漫长的进化过程中，剩下大量这些3、5、13、17年等质数周期的蝉就恰恰是“物竞天择，适者生存”的极好证明。
对此理论，在XX年，德国马普学会分子生理学研究所以及智利大学的科学家们通过实验，给予了合理的证明。他们建立了一个“猎人-猎物”的数学模型———即将蝉比作“猎物”，其天敌比作“猎人”———用数论证明了蝉选择质数作为生命周期可以稳定地保存种群数量。
蝉的生命质数现象，说到底是一种躲避天敌的策略，是进化过程中自然选择导致的结果，是一种极为普通的生物现象。在漫长的流年岁月中，一代一代的蝉儿在“知了知了”的叫声中逝去，它们不知道，神秘的大自然在为它们精确计算着各自的“天命”。这种“天命”运用到社会生活中，就是禅的哲学。
经商也好、科研也好、学*也好，必须注重“新、奇、特”。千人齐挤独木桥，必定会有大-片落水者;万人竞上羊肠道，必定会有许多掉崖者。只有“新、奇、特”，才会像那些生命周期是质数的蝉一样，在可能的情况下尽量减少“天敌”，才有可能更好地生存。
我的姥爷是地地道道的从顺义珠宝屯走出来的北京人。一瓶燕京，一只烤鸭就能诌出半壁江山的典型北京爷们儿。
印象中，他是绿色的，是唤得“肃肃花絮晚，菲菲红素轻”的春风淡淡的翠，是苍劲的松柏刚毅的青。
年轻时，姥爷是抗美援朝中一名普通的兵，穿着草青色的军服，气宇轩昂地进了兵营，军鞋下的脚步轻快而坚定。单单与别人不同的，便是他好读书，然而腹有诗书气自华，他在分兵种时被选去做了通信兵。从未上过战场的他，常在一家人看战争片时叹气皱眉，遗憾未能上战场杀得痛快淋漓。和中国千千万万的热血好男儿一样，他胸中燃着为国效力腾腾的火。
姥爷走得远，见识广，每逢回家过年一大家子吃饭时他总对新闻时事做出自己独到有理的见解。家里的大小事务也一并由他主持。他已年逾古稀，还像从前那样健谈爽朗，让我甚至忘记，他已老。
一天，我在学校突然接到他重重摔跤的噩耗，顿时慌了神。后来从妈妈口中得知他的腿打上了钢针，以后都要借靠拐杖行走。视频中，他乐观地跟我们打招呼，但藏不住的是眼中略微憔悴的枯槁。怎么我的眼泪就往下落了，怎么他一下就如此苍老。
后来再回去，不情不愿之中发现了他明显的变化。他走路变得滞慢不再快捷了，眼珠越发浑浊了不再清亮了，他不再像从前那样在阳台给花浇水，爱说爱笑了，取而代之的是躲在房间里默默忍受的病痛后沉沉的哀愁。
大年三十一家人包饺子，姥爷终于打开那扇木门，迈着沉重的脚步，走向欢声笑语的我们，拿过擀面杖准备擀皮。他微微颤动的手紧紧攥着擀面棍，一下一下努力地滚着那小小的白团。我还记得以前擀皮的任务都是他的，他结实有力的手飞速运转，擀出的饺子皮扁圆薄腻，包着外婆的馅，十分香甜。而如今在我身边的人，竟开始刻意维持着站立。他不停变化着姿势，棉鞋在地上不住摩挲着。他开始出汗，手开始使不上劲，最后又是一声叹息。他把手搭在拐杖，费力地让开，缓缓走到沙发上，又缓缓坐下。在大家一派祥和自在的谈话中，我清楚地听见了，他心中更大声的叹息。
晚上，我在床上辗转反侧，无法置信于他如泰山压倒般的衰老。正惆怅时，只听见外面传来窸窸窣窣的.声音，我竖耳一听，心便拧成了一团。伴随着洗手间门关上时一声巨响，姥爷从走廊尽头走来。由于只拄着一只拐杖，他的重心只得全部放在了支撑的那只脚。先是右脚棉鞋的胶底压着木地板，发出细细的咯吱声。因为伤脚无法长时间支撑，姥爷快速轻缓地完成了抬放左脚的动作，然后再将健康的右脚重重地踩在。就这样，一重一轻，一深一浅地走过了那段短短的走廊。
我的姥爷，我坚毅勇猛的姥爷。在岁月海浪的拍拂下，在时光劲风的横刮下，他的脸爬上了沟壑般的皱纹，他的发抹上了沧桑的白雾。他的脚步，轻快地，沉重地，快速地，缓慢地踏在了悠悠的长河里，溅起层层波澜与撩起滚滚浪花。
华山高幢幢，上有高高松。他是黄山旁挺毅的松柏，是天山尖尖长盛的雪莲，是弘法寺不灭的长明灯，照着世代前行的长路。
我缓缓打开门，轻轻叫：“姥爷”
他却是快速回过头，在看着我的一瞬间时浑浊的眼珠陡然闪着亮。他和蔼地应“快睡吧”。泪光中，看见他如今微微佝偻的身躯和曾经那个年轻气盛的青年渐渐重合，在这片黑暗中，闪烁着熠熠的光。

首先我想与大家分享一个有趣的故事：这个故事发生在古希腊。开学第一天，大哲学家苏格拉底对学生说：“今天咱们只学一件最简单也是最容易做的事。每人把胳膊尽量往前甩。”说着，苏格拉底示范了一遍，并要求学生们从今天开始，每天做300下，学生们都笑了，这么简单的事，有什么做不到的！可过了一个月，苏格拉底再问学生们，能够坚持下来还有90%。又过了一个月，坚持下来的学生只剩下八成。一年后，苏格拉底再一次问大家，这时，整个教室里，只有一人举起了手。这个学生就是后来成为古希腊另一位大哲学家的柏拉图。
这个小故事所蕴含的深刻含意是显而易见的，的确，我们干什么事，要取得成功，坚持不懈的毅力和持之以恒的精神都是必不可少的。成功之路，贵在坚持。谁能坚持到底，谁应能获得成功，众所周知，贝尔发明了电话，可他所做的仅仅是将电话中一个螺母转动了4。1周，而之前的大量工作是由爱迪生等科学家完成的。双方为此走上了法庭，法庭最终将发明权判给贝尔。原因是爱迪生等科学家虽然做了大量工作，但还是放弃了对电话的研究。可贝尔没有放弃，正是那4。1周，使电话有了实际用途，爱迪生等科学家并非没有那个能力，只是在发明电话时缺少了一份坚持，才会与成功擦身而过，有许多伟大成就都正在于一份坚持。
九十九度加一度水就开了。开水与温水的在于这一度之差。有些事之所以天壤之别，往往也正因为这一度之差。同学们，当困难拌住你成功脚步的时候；当失败挫伤你进取雄心的时候；当负担压得你喘不过气的时候，不要退缩，不要放弃，一定要坚持下去，因为只有坚持不懈，才能走向成功！

大家早上好！
像往常一样，课前三分钟轮到我做励志演讲。我演讲的题目是乐观的生活态度。
我曾经看过这样一段话：小鸟说：我飞过天空，但是天空中没有我的踪迹。泰戈尔说，天空中没有我的踪迹，但我已飞过。同样的情况，有两种不同的态度。相信后者的态度能赢得大家的认可。其实生活就是一面镜子。如果你对他微笑，他也会对你微笑。如果你为此哭泣，你只会心情沮丧。
有些人可能会抱怨上帝太不公*了。我努力了很多年，现在还是经理助理。寒窗苦读十二年，没能考上理想的大学。但是，这些抱怨并不能改变现实，只能加重他们的烦恼。为什么不以积极乐观的态度看待他们？
相反，众所周知，林肯先生24岁时遭遇商业失败，26岁时爱人去世，27岁时精神崩溃。他中年时曾多次竞选参议员和副总统，但都以失败告终。然而，面对如此多的打击和磨难，他从未放弃梦想，而是以积极的生活态度回应这些失望，最终成为美国第16任总统。正是这种积极乐观的生活态度，让林肯最终实现了自己的理想。
我相信，如果没有积极乐观的生活态度，没有四肢骨折的桑兰，没有高位截肢的张海迪，没有生活中光明与黑暗的海伦凯勒，他们也不会有辉煌的人生，不会赢得世界的尊重与赞誉。
亲爱的朋友们，虽然我们无法预测下一秒会发生什么，但我们相信，只要我们对生活抱着积极乐观的态度，我们的生活就会永远幸福。所以，即使有1000个哭的理由，也要给自己找10000个笑的理由，这样我们的生活才会充满更多的阳光和快乐。

我们崇尚文明，我们都需要生活在干净、整洁、美丽的环境中，然而，为什么我们总把打扫、维护的希望寄托在别人身上？为什么总是毫不怜惜的践踏这片宁静与美丽？为什么总是逃脱作为X中一份子的责任？
同学们，立即行动起来吧！一片纸，我们捡起；
一滴水，我们节约；

金无足赤，人无完人.每个人都有自己的优点和缺点，我们90后也不例外。90后的我们爱看上网。许多90后甚至迷恋上了它，学*成绩下降，造成了严重的后果。他们享受着优越的物质条件，但他们的内心却是空虚寂寞的，他们不懂得珍惜生命，感恩社会，却整天沉迷在游戏中无法自拔，浪费大好青春。

俗话说：“笑一笑，十年少”。其实，微笑不仅能让你年轻，还是一座沟通人际关系的桥梁，一剂化解人们矛盾的良药。
你听说过关于日本原一*先生的故事吗？

记得一次去医院看病，我坐在椅子上排队等待，一个男的对着护士说：“你们这是怎么搞的？医生约了我上午9点整来，你自己看看都已经9点40分了。”我本以为护士肯定会以牙还牙，然后两人会大动干戈，谁知，护士却微笑着对那个男的说：“先生，实在很抱歉，人太多了，我进去帮您看看，也催一下。请您稍等。”过了一会儿，只看见那个护土微笑着说：“先生，到您了，请进去。”我不禁佩服起这个护士来，过了一会儿，那个男的出来了，他找到刚才一直对他微笑的护土，诚恳地说：“刚才实在对不起，请原谅。”护士依旧微笑着说：“没关系的。”
可见，微笑有时候还能化干戈为玉帛。
每天你给别人一个真诚的微笑，别人也会给你一个微笑。
微笑能让别人对你所怀的顾虑在一瞬间消失；微笑能让你与别人的关系融洽；微笑是沟通彼此心灵的无声语言。既然如此，那么，朋友，就请大方起来，请别吝啬你的微笑。

大家好，我今天给大家讲一个故事叫：一面镜子
一个年轻人正值人生巅峰时却被查出患了白血病，无边无际的绝望一下子笼罩了他的心，他觉得生活已经没有任何意义了，拒绝接受任何治疗。
一个深秋的午后，他从医院里逃出来，漫无目的地在街上游荡。忽然，一阵略带嘶哑又异常豪迈的乐曲吸引了他。不远处，一位双目失明的老人正把弄着一件磨得发亮的乐器，向着寥落的人流动情地弹奏着。还有一点引人注目的是，盲人的怀中挂着一面镜子！年轻人好奇地上前，趁盲人一曲弹奏完毕时问道：“对不起，打扰了，请问这镜子是你的吗？”
“是的，我的乐器和镜子是我的两件宝贝！音乐是世界上最美好的东西，我常常靠这个自娱自乐，可以感到生活是多么的美好”“可这面镜子对你有什么意义呢？”他迫不及待地问。
盲人微微一笑，说：“我希望有一天出现奇迹，并且也相信有朝一日我能用这面镜子看见自己的脸，因此不管到哪儿，不管什么时候我都带着它。”白血病患者的心一下子被震撼了：一个盲人尚且如此热爱生活，而我他突然彻悟了，又坦然地回到医院接受治疗，尽管每次化疗他都会感受到死去活来的痛楚，但从那以后他再也没有逃跑过。
他坚强地忍受痛苦的治疗，终于出现了奇迹，他恢复了健康。从此，他也拥有了人生弥足珍贵的两件宝贝：积极乐观的心态和屹立不倒的信念。想把

为了活得精彩，还要有不断超越的精神。鲁迅先生曾说，"不满是向上的灵魂"。时代的进步使新事物以让人难以置信的速度发展。没什么铁饭碗，没什么保质期。无论什么时候，都必须以起跑线上的姿态去迎接挑战。只有不断地学*和提高，才能跟得上这个精彩的大时代。

Happiness is like a snowflake, each one unique because the perception of a meaningful life varies from person to person. To many people, happiness means a simple life without any ups and downs, but my happiness comes from a life full of challenge and experience.
When I was a child, happiness was the rare taste of independence, a brave leap from the mundane. I remember the first time I tried to to ride a bike by myself without the support wheels. I went back home with a flat tire, skinned knees, and the biggest grin my face could hold. While other toddlers preferred the safe and secure, I was tumbling down hills and swerving off sidewalks. Even now, I can still recall the exhilaration I had felt when I managed to stay atop that bike for those few short moments.
Later on, overcoming challenges that I encountered in life was what brought me happiness. You see, I started learning the violin. It was extremely hard and I sounded like I was flaying a cat every time I picked it up. My fingers were awkward and the bow slipped off the strings more times than it stayed on. I spent three hours everyday, sawing at my violin. My fingers bruised and my neck ached, but gradually the mistakes lessened and I was making music. Three years later, I was First Chair violinist in the school orchestra. I still remember the pride I had felt when I took my very first bow in front of an applauding audience. Happiness had felt so much sweeter after a hard won success.
When I got older and saw more of the world, I wanted to contribute more. So when most people my age chose to spend the three months before college relaxing, I decided to get a part-time job as a TA at a summer school. I woke up at the crack of dawn, took an hour's bus to the school every day and spent most of the summer vacation sitting in the back of classrooms, grading papers and taking notes on the lecture and tutoring students. It definitely wasn't the most glamorous summer, but it was one of the happiest and most memorable moments of my life. It didn’t just make me happy because it had been my first part-time job. I was happy because I had spent my time doing something worthwhile. I had contributed in my own way, and the children were going to do better in school in the coming year.
Over the years, I’ve had my fair share of cuts and bruises, but the scars left behind are the testimony of my own unique experiences and the fulfilling life that I want to pursue. it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.
those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. 5) each day, devote some time to reading a few pages of an inspiring book or article.

sometimes you may begin the day with the desire to accomplish several objectives. at the end of the day you might feel frustrated and unhappy, because you haven't been able to do all of those things.
look at what you have done, not at what you have not been able to do. you may have accomplished a lot during the day, and yet you let yourself become frustrated, because of some small things that you did not accomplish. you have spent all day successfully carrying out many plans, and instead of feeling happy and satisfied, you look at what was not accomplished and feel unhappy. it is unfair toward yourself.
8) each day do something good for yourself. it can be something small, such buying a book, eating something you love, watching you favorite program on tv, going to a movie, or just having a stroll on the beach.
9) each day do at least one act to make others happy. this can be a kind word, helping your colleagues, stopping your car at the crossroad to let people cross, giving your seat in a bus to someone else, or giving a small present to someone you love. the possibilities are infinite. when you make someone happy, you become happy, and then people try to make you happy.
10) always expect happiness.
11) do not envy people who are happy. on the contrary, be happy for their happiness.
12) associate with happy people, and try to learn from them to be happy. remember, happineis contagious.

THE first time I saw Bao was in 20xx, the year when Thomas and Uber Cup was held. At that time he was playing against Li zongwei, who is also a good player from Malaysia. Bao beat him. To tell the truth, at first the reason why I liked him was just because I thought he was pretty.*(maybe it is not a suitable word, but I think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!) From that time, I have focused on him. Then gradually, I found that he not only has good appearance, but also has a talent for badminton.
He is very tall, about 1.90 meters. He is the tallest one among all the players in the Chinese Badminton Team. In 20xx, he is chosen as the flag holder stands for China in the opening ceremony in the 15th Asian Games held in Doha. It was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over the special task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball players. It was a great honor. And it also proved that Bao was an excellent athlete. We are all proud of him.
He began to play badminton when he was at primary school. In 20xx, he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in Guangzhou. Because of that, he entered the Chinese Badminton Team. As he is as old as Lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good to him. He seldom beats Lin dan, so he gained a name which is called’千年老二’. In fact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong. So he always has misplays. Due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. I think this is related to his character. He is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. So this affects him while he is playing badminton. In a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. He is under great pressure. He was not in the best state. But recently he cheers up again. Several days ago, the Chinese Badminton Championship 20xx was held in Guangzhou. I went to see him on Saturday. I was very excited, and I shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me. There is no doubt that he won the game. Before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited I was at that time! The next day, he beat Li zongwei again and he won the man’s single gold medal. All of us are very happy. After 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in Guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.

"Look," he said, "We all have our fears, and you have yours. You could twist your ankle in a basketball game, but then be afraid to ever play again. Running away can never dispel your fears, but action will. A winner is not one who never fails，but one who never quits."
I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life: I would face my fears – and take part in the competition!

First of all, the Internet has brought people great convenience in getting information, entertainment and contact with each other. As for our students, it is a useful tool when we meet problems. When we are tired, a piece of light music will help us relax. If we have free time, we can enjoy movies or interesting cartoons. What's more, we can also watch live programs on the internet or see it later if we are not available at that time.
But there is also bad influence. Some of the young teenagers are addicted to computer games, and some even play games all night. Because of lacking in sleep, those students can not focus on in the class . As a result, they may fail in the exam. When they realize it is wrong to spend too much time playing games, it's already too late.
I have remembered such a piece of news . An excellent student flunked (考试不及格) because he could not concentrate on his study for being too indulged in computer games. He spent nearly all the money on games, which was earned by

The most serious harm of computer games come from their contents, which affects teenagers ' mental health. Many games involve violence, such as fighting and killing. So when computers' entertaining function is highly spoken of ,such a problem does deserve our serious concern.
