大家好，今天我演讲的题目是《唤醒沉睡的中华之梦》！
为了一个共同的梦想我们会聚一堂，我们秉承文学的血脉，我们背负理想的背囊。我们追求美好的未来，我们追求智慧，我们讴歌自由，我们抒发心中的激情，我们以诗的语言挥洒我们奔涌的热血。
读一百部书，活一百种人生。对生命来说，没有任何东西能像书籍那样具有如此的.力量。书籍是孤独者的朋友，是被遗弃者的伴侣，是郁郁寡欢者的喜悦，是绝望者的希望，是泪丧的欢畅，是无衣无靠者的相助，是梦想者的曙光。
今天，我有一个梦想。
我希望同学们拿起手中的彩笔，描绘美好的蓝天，从这里起飞，放飞你们的梦想，如夸父追日般自求我们的梦想。
人生不能没有梦想，我们是时代的骄子，祖国的未来我希望大家不断的进步，超越自我，胸怀天下。
我希望每一个学生都能够在知识的海洋中遨游，在精神的世界自我搏击，沐浴先哲前贤的光辉思想，聆听仁人大师的谆谆教诲。
文学的殿堂富丽堂皇，我们怀着一棵赤热的心，抱着对文字的热爱我们来了，我们无所畏惧，因为未了的激情。
只要我们实践，只要我们热爱读书，只要我们喜欢写作，我们的精神是自由的，我们的思想是开放的，只要我们勤奋笔耕，只要我们有坚定的信念，只要我们有勇于探索的精神，只要我们敢于行动，我们的梦想就会成为现实，我们的追求便会有回报！
我想，我做，我成功！
你们一定知道南京大屠杀吧！当年，日军在南京屠杀了30多万中国人，成千上万的人被枪杀后浇上汽油焚尸，骨灰残骸被江水冲得无影无踪，还有许多未被发现的秘密活埋地点……在短短的几个月中，到底有多少南京同胞惨遭日寇杀害，恐怕谁也无法精确地估计。
国耻象大山一样压在中华民族的头上，压得几亿人民透不过气来，也在我们这些少年人心灵里灌注了铅一样沉重的忧愁和哀伤，中国，我们古老的中国，生我养我的中国，地大物博却遭人欺凌宰割的中国，什么时候才能挣断身上的屈辱锁链，铁骨铮铮地站起来啊！
整个八年抗战期间，侵略者的铁蹄践踏蹂躏祖国的胸脯，其中有几年在上海这个“国中之国”中，也看到英国，美国士兵耀武扬威地走在马路上，外国军舰在黄浦江上任意来去……只有尝尽失去自由和被压迫的滋味，才能深切地懂得“勿忘国耻”这四个字的'含义。现在，每当唱起“起来，不愿做奴隶的人们”时就会联想起“天下兴亡，匹夫有责”那句古训。
多少年风雨沧桑，河山巨变，我们的祖国早已摆脱了屈辱和苦难。然而，我们中国仍然是发展中国家，许多发面还处在落后地位，落后是现实，安于落后就是可耻了神州大地的一些角落里，权欲观念，愚昧思想，腐败堕落作风，惟利是图，崇洋媚外……种种可鄙的现象，更使正直的人感到可耻。也许这些可以算作新的“国耻”吧，这些有损国格，有损中华民族形象的“国耻”，我们一天也不能容忍！
半个世纪以前，我们中国被许多帝国主义者践踏蹂躏，我们的人民失去自由和生活的权利，这是我们中华民族的耻辱，这些耻辱是我们祖国的伤痛，也是我们中华民族的悲哀。有人会说，它已经过去，就让它过去好了，干吗还要“勿忘”呢？这是因为，忘记“耻辱”虽然可以减少伤感，但是记住“耻辱”就是记住祖国的历史创伤，能激起更强烈的民族精神，让我们懂得珍惜今天的幸福生活，记住中华民族的祖先为祖国所做出的牺牲，更能增强自己对祖国的责任感。只有记住历史，吸取历史的教训，才能保证世间不再有战争和屠杀。
最后，让我们高呼：勿忘国耻，爱我中华！

今天，我非常的荣幸，能够站在庄严的**下为大家演讲。再过几天就是国庆节了，再我们为放假高兴的时候，不要忘了我是一个中国人!爱国是我们必须做的!
中华民族是一个伟大的民族，爱国主义精神是我们这个民族最美的花朵。爱国，是一个神圣的字眼，在历史发展的曲折过程中，爱国主义历来是我国人民所崇尚的。进入二十一世纪，我们伟大的祖国日益繁荣昌盛，爱国主义更应该成为这个时代的音!爱国主义是我国各族人民团结奋斗的光辉旗帜，是推动我国社会历史前进的强大动力，而爱国教育无疑是最重要的教育!
回顾中华民族的历史长河，无数为国家抛头颅、洒热血、无私奉献的民族英雄至今活在我们心中，古代，有南宋的岳飞，明代的戚继光，郑成功……*代以来，为了保卫国家，反抗帝国主义的侵略，更是有许多仁人志士为捍卫民族**而慷慨就义。新中国成立以后，有很多杰出人物，如邓稼先、华罗庚、钱学森等等，他们放弃国外荣华富贵的生活，回到贫穷的祖国来，为国家的现代化建设贡献自己的力量。这些人的光辉形象和他们可歌可泣的动人事迹，永远激励着每一个中国人奋发向上!
爱国精神，是不分国界的。不仅在中国，在世界许多国家中，爱国教育也是极受重视的。
美国一个普通的乡村教师说过一句话："不懂得热爱**的学生，无论他多么出色，都不是好学生。"在美国，热爱**是一件极其*常而又非常光荣的事。在波兰，每一所学校都专门设有爱国主义教育课程，并使之融入政治、历史等科目中。在泰国，爱国主义教育，是每个学生必不可少的一门课程，**极端重视对青少年进行民族传统和爱国教育。特色的是韩国，它把爱国主义教育渗透到社会生活的各个方面。韩国人历来以使用本国产品而引为骄傲。可见，爱国主义精神是全世界人民共有的宝贵财富。
我们作为新世纪的青少年一代，是祖国的希望，祖国的未来必将属于我们。因此，我们更要继承和发扬崇高的爱国主义精神。
"继承和发扬爱国主义精神，要体现在行动中。"如果祖国需要我们抛头颅、洒热血的话，每一个有正气的中国人都会毫不犹豫地为国捐躯。但是，现在我们生活在和*年代，祖国并不需要我们上战场。我们应该如何来爱国呢?作为学生我们首先要做到的是热爱自己的学校。一个连自己的学校都不爱的学生，又怎么可能爱自己的国家呢?热爱学校是一种非常具体而切*的行动。永新为我们提供了优良的学*环境，永新的老师为培养我们成才而兢兢业业，这里是我们成长的摇篮。作为永新的学生，我们没有理由不去热爱自己的学校。永新的每一位学生都要像爱护自己的眼睛一样去维护永新的形象和荣誉;我们要真心实意地尊敬我们的老师、尊重所有为永新提供服务的叔叔、阿姨们;我们要自觉地保护永新的一草一木，美化自然环境，创造高雅的人文环境，使永新成为名副其实的花园、乐园;我们还要像对待自己的兄弟姐妹一样去热爱永新的20xx多位同学，让我们互爱互学，一起欢乐成长!我们要珍惜时间，刻苦学*，努力拼搏，夺取各学段的优异成绩，将来为祖国贡献自己的一份力量，以此来报答养育了我们的永新，报答我们敬爱的老师!

从我们降临到这个世上的那一刻起，睁开眼第一眼看到的是家人对于我们的到来欣喜的笑容，第一次感受的到是家人笑容中传递的那份关爱。 从那时起我们便与笑结了缘。得意的笑使人倍感自信；开怀大笑使人心情舒畅……这些都是生命的自然悸动，还有一种笑是那样的淳朴，*静，使人享受到生命底蕴的醇味，体验情感，超越悲欢，这就是微笑。人的一生是有限的，总有一天，你再也看不到世间的美景，感受不到世间的亲情。然而只要我们的内心春风洋溢，人生的哪一个时候不是最美好的春天呢？只要我们有着一颗*静，珍惜，愉悦的心。即使在人生的无寸草处行走，你也会看到那美丽神奇的一瞥。所以，微笑着面对生活中的一切，就可以在微笑中品味生活，感受生活中的精彩！笑对人生，从一个微笑开始。生活就是酸甜苦辣咸五味俱全。甜美的生活是我们每个人所向往的，但上天往往不遂人愿。我们在生活中也常常会遭遇挫折和失败。心慌慌，真想回到从前，但日历不能倒翻。请不要害怕开始，生活总把我们送到起点。请记住一句话：“压伤的芦苇，上天不会折断；将残的灯火，上天不忍吹熄。”勇敢些，请现出一个微笑，迎上前！生活就是这样，换一种心态去面对，将是另一种风景，另一种境界。虽然不完美，但过的踏实。我们带着心中的微笑，穿过世事的云烟，就可以学着应变，努力耕耘，收获果实，并提升认知，强健心弦，迎向幸福的彼岸。在幸福的彼岸上，得意而欣慰的笑一下！微笑也是人与人之间沟通的桥梁。与他人会心的微笑，就仿佛在他人心中形成一股涓涓的流水，缓缓的流淌在他人间，滋起一丝丝爱意。社会是一个大家庭，人与人之间需要彼此关爱，有家就有爱，有爱才有家！请大家现出一个微笑，微笑是表达，让我们的世间充满真爱！笑是人的本能，群体的微笑构筑和*，他人的微笑导致理解，自我的微笑则是心灵的净化剂。心灵的宁静使人快乐，而快乐才是生命不断走向高处的动力。从一个最简单的微笑开始，重筑自己灵魂的免疫系统，再次将胸怀拓宽。微笑吧！在每一个早晨，向着天边第一缕阳光；在每一个春天，面对着地上第一株新草；在每一个起点，遥望着也许还看不到的地*线……有一句话是这样说的：“你不能改变天生的容貌，但你可以时时展现笑容。请大家都笑一笑，从一个微笑开始，微笑着面对生活中的每一天，那就离成功很*，离幸福不远！

亲爱的同学们：
苏霍姆林斯基曾经说过：“热爱祖国，这是一种最纯洁、最敏锐、最高尚、最强烈、最温柔、最有情、最温存、最严酷的感情。一个真正热爱祖国的人。在各个方面都是一个真正的人。”这句至理名言说得多好啊！是啊，有一颗爱国心多么重要！
一个国家肯定有着很多很强爱国心的国民，但总有一些不爱国的人。他们这样就像孩子不爱母亲，鱼儿不爱水一样，是最可怕有不可理喻的。他们的心里没有祖国，定是灵魂不全的人。不论他们有多么有名，多么有钱有势，都会被世人永远唾弃！可是又有多少优秀的中华儿女，在祖国饱受欺凌之时挺身而出。
我印象最深的是革命家陈天华，他在日本留学时听到沙俄军队侵占满洲，腐败无能的清**又要同沙俄军队私密签订丧权辱国的条约的消息时悲愤欲绝。
回到宿舍后他又咬破手指写救国**，在**里陈述亡国的悲惨，当亡国奴的辛酸，鼓舞同胞来战斗……他一连写了几十张，因流血过多而晕倒，可嘴里还在不住的念着：“救国！救国！”他好不容易才被人救醒，又坚持把**千里迢迢从日本寄回国内。读到的人无不感动，一是为他写**而感动，二是为他有一颗强烈的爱国心而感动！
像陈天华这样胸膛里跳动的是一颗爱国心的人是很值得我们学*的。现在的祖国很和*，不用我们上战场。但中国在世界上与发达国家还有一定的差距，我们要好好学*，争取将来做祖国的栋梁，为国争光！
不论在何时、何地，请你都不要忘记，你是中国人，是炎黄子孙，是龙的传人，在你的胸膛里跳动的是一颗炽热的中国心！
爱国主义是中华民族精神的核心!
爱国主义,这是一个多么光辉的字眼,古今中外,有多少英雄豪杰,有多少仁人志士,有多少科学伟人,有多少文学巨匠为它拼搏,为它而奋斗不息.
南宋抗金名将岳飞,牢记母训"精忠报国"带领岳家军,以"壮志饥餐胡虏肉,笑谈渴饮匈奴血"的豪情壮志,驰骋疆场.威震敌胆,击退敌人的一次次进攻.文天祥在宋朝江山土崩瓦解之际,奋起卫国,终因寡不敌众而被虏,但他写下了”人生自古谁无死.留取丹心照汗青’的豪迈诗句.表达了爱国之情和誓死不屈的决心.
俄国评论家车尔雪尼夫斯基说过;”爱国主义的力量是多么伟大呀,在它面前,人的爱生之念,畏苦之情,就连人本身有算得了什么呢
鲁迅曾说过:”惟有民魂最可贵,唯有它发扬光大,中国才会有希望.
什么是爱国主义,列宁说:"爱国主义是指人们对祖国的忠诚和热爱,是千百年来巩固起来的对自己祖国的一种最深厚的感情。
古有晏子“利于国者爱之，害于国者害之”的大声疾呼。有屈原的“身既死兮神以灵，子魂魄兮为鬼雄”的悲壮高歌。有诸葛亮“鞠躬尽瘁，死而后已”的一生实践，有陆游的“位卑未敢忘忧国。”
事实上，爱国主义是以对民族和国家的关注和定位为基础的，它虽然可以由然爱国土，历史，文化等感情的形式萌发，但必由民族意识洗礼方能获得成熟化的表现形式，无论在东方西方从18世纪开始国家**和民族的命运都成为最鼓舞人心的事件，美国独立战争在今天被看成西方*代民族意识的一次大规模的爆发，而在法国大革命时期，各地纷纷宣誓放弃分歧来保卫国家，但这传统无法与时代同日而语，曲折艰难的生存壮志却提供了一种空前清晰的关于国家命运的自觉意识。于是，在中华大地，人们内忧政治腐败，外患列强瓜分。为救亡图存，前有康有为变法半途夭折，后有辛亥革命建立民国。众多仁人志士赴汤蹈火义无反顾，轰轰烈烈的“五四运动”，爱国主义爆发为历史掀开崭新的一页，而***的建立为传统爱国主义注入了马列主义的精髓，伴随着中国人民战胜各种顽敌，从胜利走向新的胜利。
是啊!!!百年战争创伤给了我们太多悲惨的教训，分裂的中国遭受太多欺侮与嘲弄,要想赢得国家民族的尊严,要想赢得未来战争的胜利,我们必须坚定政治信念,坚持党的领导,既然某些分裂分子无视十三亿中国人民的情感,既然某些超级大国,,依然热衷于以武力推行其世界政策,既然国际公认的关系准则已遭到无理的蔑视,既然一个国家的内政问题也可能引来霸权主义赤裸裸的武力恐吓。我们就必须时刻准备面对列强加到共和国头上的战争。
作为当代青年，爱国的体现就是在国家最需要我们的时刻，为国家奉献青春热血，贡献智慧胆识!!!
看!!!我国九百六十多万*方公里的土地上，无论是黑龙玄冰，还是青海盐田，是南沙礁岛，还是大漠边关。无论是制止动乱，还是抗击列强，无论是森林救火，还是洪湖抗浪，都屹立着坚毅挺拔的身影。听!那边关的阵阵风吼，那塞外的萧萧马鸣-----------不正是一曲曲军人感慨雄壮的乐章?!不正是一首首军人爱党爱国的赞歌!!
曾经看过这样一个故事，那是一个大年三十的晚上，某边防连队一名排长的父亲——一位老***员因病去世了，临终前他多么想看儿子的最后一眼啊!!!但他没有让家人通知连队，因为他了解边防连队每到节假日任务都非常重，他知道他的儿子此时一定正和战士巡逻。一遍遍地喊着儿子的名字————-这位老父亲离开了人世，他留给儿子只有一封信，信中写道：“孩子，记住：你可以不是父亲的好儿子，也可以不是妻子的好丈夫，还可以不是儿子的好父亲，但你必须是边防哨所的好兵。”跪倒在国界碑边，排长哭着读完了父亲的遗言，在泪光中他明白了，父亲告诉他一个颠扑不灭的真理，家事再大，莫大于国事。这国事，就是时刻牢记党的宗旨，就是时刻心系人民的利益，就是时刻关注国家的安危。
在迎接新千年的盛大庆典上，__同志曾指出：“在新世纪里，中华民族将在完成祖国统一和建立富强民主文明的社会主义现代化国家的基础上实现伟大复兴”这是新世纪向中华民族的召唤，这是中华民族面向新世纪的宣言，把真心献给祖国，我们会尽一份赤子之情，把智慧献给祖国，我们会和成功携手而行，把青春献给祖国，我们会获得生命的永恒，让我们进一步发扬民族精神，为保证我国成为一个富强统一的国家，用生命和热血谱写一曲爱党爱国的赞歌吧!!!
50年后的今天，爱国主义提倡的价值观与现实大相径庭。爱国主义提倡对祖国和中华民族的深厚感情，提倡对国家，对社会民族的整体利益，奋不顾身的工作着，毫不保留的贡献自己的聪明才智。但是在市场经济利益作用下，人们崇尚金钱，追逐名利。正如马克思所说，你自己不能办到的一切，你的货币却能办到，人们讲究“实惠”要求付出与获取成正比。在这样的的价值观主导下，个体在情景中的行为选择是以能否获取金钱来衡量，凡是不能获得金钱的行为都是愚蠢的，都是个体所极力回避的行为，这就是金钱确定人的价值观念日益盛行。
此时此刻，闻**而兴爱国之思，这不应随时间而渐渐远离，而是应赋予时代特有意义，上世纪80年代后，随着冷战结束后，世界呈多极化的趋势，科技的进步和全球性经济发展是爱国主义得到了升华，要求人们突破传统的乡土观，民族观，国家观，以面向全球的思维方式不断发展，试问：如果以个人主义替代国家利益，人类如何推动全球化发展进程!!!
祖国美好的明天!这7个字激起我们每一个热血，热情，热泪。让正义之血为之喷涌，让自由之泪为之洒落，让真理之情为之坚定吧!!!

爱国主义是对祖国的忠诚和热爱。我们现在幸福的生活是用革命先烈的鲜血换来的，看到那漫天飞舞的红领巾，我感到非常自豪。
我们要热爱祖国的山河，关心祖国的命运，这是爱国主义的表现。中华民族在五千多年的发展过程中，形成了以爱国主义为核心的伟大民族精神。当侵略者践踏我们美丽的山河时，每一个有良知的中国人脸上都流着泪，心中都流着血。

我的祖国是我第二位伟大的母亲。她一步步走来，饱经沧桑，印证了一段段历史，那一个个爱国将士为国捐躯，时刻激励着我们奋勇向前;她拥有着灿烂的文化，仓颉创造的那一个个方块字中蕴藏着多少奥妙，那优美的音韵是世间最美妙的艺术;她拥有着美丽的大好河山，巍峨峻拔的珠穆朗玛峰、如同南国少女的桂林、雄伟壮丽的泰山使她更加秀丽!祖**亲有多少出色的儿女——-董存瑞、郑成功、邓嫁先、杨力伟这些伟大的名字都深深地刻在我们心中，他们的事迹，令人肃然起敬;他们的精神永远鼓舞着我们奋发向上。如今，祖**亲圆了百年的梦想，奥运健儿们创造的一个个辉煌，让祖**亲更加骄傲和自豪!
祖国的历史是坎坷不*的，在历史的长河中，她拥有的不只是灿烂和辉煌，也有一些不可磨灭的阴影。南京_、火烧圆明园…。这都是我们一辈子都不能忘记的耻辱，让我们铭记这些，以史为鉴。

中国，这位钢铁般的巨人终于在黑暗的压迫下重新站了起来!一座座高楼大厦拔地而起，路边的绿化带变成了花的海洋;水立方、鸟巢这些高科技场馆给她带上了一顶皇冠;墙上的小广告失踪了，取而代之的是一面面嫩绿色的树墙。祖**亲日新月异，默默无闻的人们也在为祖国的发展贡献着自己的力量。

掀开摞摞发黄的历史，我们曾有过向世界开放，国力强盛的汉唐辉煌，也有过闭关锁国，落后挨打的*代屈辱。前进的道路充满坎坷、荆棘，但坎坷、荆棘却孕育着希望。龙，是祖国的象征，我们每一个炎黄子孙都是龙的传人，有福同享，有难同当——这就是华夏儿女泱泱的气节。因为我们有一个共同的母亲，那就是中国。我们共享60大寿的幸福，也共同担当国破家亡的'难关。“我们唱着东方红，当家做主站起来”这首美丽动听的歌曲唱出了亿万中华儿女的心声。大家都知道，从1840年鸦片战争以后，旧中国沦为半封建半殖民地社会，人民生活在水生火热之中，挣扎在死亡线上，中国一批又一批的爱国志士和人民群众不敢心国家的沦亡，前赴后继地奋起抗争，但却以失败告终，中华民族从此就沉没了吗？不，1921年***在上海给人们送来了黎明的曙光，中国人民的革命事业从此走上了充满希望的征程。无数***人和人民群众一起经过艰苦卓绝的斗争，终于实现了民族的独立和新中国的成立，千百万被奴役被压迫的劳苦大众昂首阔步揭开了中华民族复兴的新篇章。***——你是一盏明灯，永远驻留在我心中，指引我坚定不移的做一名***忠实的追随者，相信我们党的事业将更加和谐美好，祖国的明天也更加灿烂辉煌。
早在很久以前，我们祖国的爱国人士就意识到国家的安危存亡，也曾经为维护祖国领土完整，保护人民生命安全而献出生命，从我懂得要爱国的那天起，***为了拯国家于危难，救人民于水火，鲁迅先生穷其一生智慧“我以我血荐轩辕”唤醒了刀俎上的中国人，梁启超曾高瞻远瞩的指出“少年强，则国强。少年富，则国富。少年屹立于世界则国屹立于世界。”五四青年匍匐喋血，在血泪中仍高喊祖国万岁，太多太多英雄志士，他们给我们启迪：一个走向世界的民族，必须自尊自立，自信自强。顺着他们走过的足迹，我们终于立足于世界之林，我们应该为生在这个英雄的国度而万般自豪。为这些民族之花而骄傲，祖国这个字眼，让我感到无比的激动，那壮丽的山河，悠久的历史，灿烂的文化，优良的传统，无不是我们中国人的骄傲。

大家好！今天我给大家演讲的题目是：理想托起新世纪的大学生。据调查可知，现在的大学生都比较的现实，都想实现我们自身的价值，因为我们都有自己心中的梦，心中的理想。年少时的雄心壮志对未来美好的憧憬，在心中从来就没有殒灭过，而是一直在努力的奋斗着，心血与汗水换来金秋的收获，而这一切仅是一个开始，一个雄浑瑰丽乐章的序曲。我们的生日是生命的起点，小溪流是大海的起点，种子是希望的起点，沙砾是高塔的起点，一日是一年的起点，生命的原野和人生的旅途中的起点无处不在，一个人找好了起点就等于找准了成功的方向。现实又仿佛总是残酷、无情的，理想与现实的差距，有时使我们倍感到失落。
记得曾有位作家在他的文章中这样写道：小时候，当有人问我的理想是什么的时候，我总是豪气冲天的回答：“我长大要当一名科学家。”时隔20xx年，如果再有人问我的理想，我会很*静地说：“做一名编辑。”我佩服我小时候的勇气，也佩服我现在的清醒，毕竟这中间横隔了20xx年，理想也完成了它从幻想到现实的漫长历程，不再遥不可及，却是伸手可触的事。做为一个有知识、有头脑的大学生，我们应该而且能够做出自己明智的选择，那就是面对现实，接受现实，真真正正地树立自己正确的奋斗目标。当然理想应该是切合实际的，是我们通过努力可以实现的。我突然想起一个故事。

Who was the most well—known figure in China last month？It’s Ma JiaJue—the college student who murdered 4 of his roommates. Many people attributed his crime to his poverty and deficient education. In my opinion，his crime also has much to do with his classmates’ indifference.
Indifference is a terrible disease in today’s colleges and the whole society. It’s not rare that two students who have studied together for 4 years have never spoken to each other. It’s not rare that a student who has been absent from class for several days is not noticed at all. It’s also not rare that a student who has severe psychological problems is not cared about at all.

When Henry ford decided to produce his famous v-8 motor, he chose to build an engine with the entire eight cylinders cast in one block, and instructed his engineers to produce a design in one for the engine. The design was placed on paper, but the engineers agreed, to a man, that it was sim*** impossible to cast an eight-cylinder engine-block in one piece.
Ford said, “Produce it anyway.”
“But,” they replied, “It’s impossible!”
“Go ahead.” Ford commanded, “And stay on the job until you succeed, no matter how much time is required.”
The engineers went ahead. There was nothing else for them to do, if they were to remain on the ford staff. Six months passed and nothing happened. Another six months passed, and still nothing happened. The engineers tried every conceivable plan to carry out the orders, but the thing seemed out of the question:“impossible!”
At the end of the year ford checked with his engineers, and again they informed him they had found no way to carry out his orders.

I have been in University for about one year. During my stay here, I came to realize that university life is like drinking coke. We experience all tastes of life here, sour, sweet, bitter and hot.
I am from Province, which is far away from here. I often miss my Mum, friends, and relatives in my hometown. However, I can't see them very often. So loneliness always keeps me company. I am sad that I can't be there with them.
Lucky for me, life in university is rich and colorful. With more free time,we can do many more things besides study, such as joining

I have been in University for about one year. During my stay here，I came to realize that university life is like drinking coke. We experience all tastes of life here，sour，sweet，bitter and hot.

We've all been taught that we should help people. It is the right thing to do and will make us popular with others. It may even win us favors in return. However, we must be realistic. We can't say yes to every request. If we did, we would fail or go crazy for sure. Sometimes we sim*** don't have the time to help. In this case, we must know how to say no politely.
When we need to say no, here is one method we can try. First, we should tell the truth. If we really can't do something, we should just say so. Second, we should remember to refuse requests politely. Responsibility is a Badge of Honour for Youth

Facing this audience on the stage, I have the exciting feeling of participating in the march of history, for what we are facing today is more than a mere competition or contest. It is an assembly of some of China's most talented and motivated people, representatives of a younger generation that are preparing themselves for the coming of a new century.
I'm grateful that I've been given this opportunity, at such a historic moment, to stand here as a spokesman of my generation and to take a serious look back at the past 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well.
Though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, I believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years.
In my elementary years, there was a little girl in the class who worked very hard but somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons.
The teacher asked me to help her, and it was obvious that she expected a lot from me. but as a young boy, restless, thoughtless, I always tried to evade her so as to get more time to enjoy myself. One day before the final exam, she came up to me and said, "Could you please explain this to meI want very much to do better this time. " I started explaining, and finished in a hurry.
Pretending not to notice her still confused eyes, I ran off quickly. Nat surprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam. And two months later, at the beginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer. No one ever knew about the little task I failed to fulfill, but I couldn't forgive myself. I sim*** couldn't forget her eyes, which seem to be asking, "Why didn't you do a little more to help me, when it was so easy for youWhy didn't you understand a little better the trust placed in you, so that I would not have to leave this world in such pain and regret"
I was about eight or nine years old at that time, but in a way it was the very starting point of my life, for I began to understand the word "responsibility" and to learn to always do my duties faithfully and devotedly, for the implications of that sacred word has dawned on me: the mutual need and trust of people, the co-operation and inter-reliance which are the very foundation of human society.
Later in my life, I continued to experience many failures. But never again did I feel that regret which struck me at the death of the girl, for it makes my heart satisfied to think that I have always done everything in my power to fulfill my responsibilities as best I can.
As I grew up, changed and improved by this incident and many other similar ones, I began to perceive the changes taking place around me and to find that society, in a way, was in its formative years like myself. New buildings, new commodities and new fashions appear every day.
New ideas, new information, new technologies. People can talk with each other from any corner of the earth in a matter of seconds. Society is becoming more competitive.
Words like individuality and creativity are getting more emphasis and more people are rewarded for their hard work and efforts. Such is the era in which this generation ,grows and matures.
Such is the era in which this generation will take over the nation from our fathers and learn to run it. Yet in the meantime, many problems still exist.
We learn that crimes take place in broad daylight with crowds of people looking on and not assisting. We hear that there are still about 1 million children in this country who can't even afford to go to elementary schools while enormous sums of money are being squandered away on dinner parties and luxury cars.
We buy shoddy medicines, or merely worthless junk in the name of medicines, that aggravate, rather than alleviate our diseases since money, many people believe, is the most important thing in the world that must be made, even at the expense of morality and responsibility.
Such an era, therefore, determines that we are a generation with a keener sense of competition and efficiency and a greater readiness to think critically and act creatively.
Such an era, furthermore, demands, that we are a generation with a clear perception of our historical responsibility and an aggressive will to take action and solve the problems. History has long been preparing these qualities in this generation and it is now calling us forward to give testimony to our patriotism and heroism towards this nation and all humanity.
Standing here now, I think of the past 15 years of my life as an ordinary student. Probably I'll be an ordinary man for the rest of my life. But this doesn't discourage me any, for I know that with my sense of responsibility and devoted efforts to always strive, for the best, it's going to be a meaningful and worthwhile life that I will be living.
Standing here now, I think of the past 15 years of this nation, which has achieved greatness that inspired millions of people of my age, most of whom will not attain fame or prestige and only a few of whom will be remembered by posterity. But that doesn't discourage us any, because we
know that the world watches, the world listens, the world is waiting to see where this nation will be heading in a time of rich opportunities and fierce competition.
I can't ever forget that little girl in my class who couldn't had the same opportunities as any of us here to enjoy a wonderful life today and a hopeful world tomorrow.
It is the sacred responsibility of this generation to face up to the challenges of the new century and to devote our sweat and blood, our wisdom and passion, to the historic cause of making this nation a greater and happier land for every one of us.
We are not going to evade that responsibility. We are going to let people down. And people, far and near, will hear of us. Frost will be brought to their backbones and tears to their eyes when our stories are told and retold, So let us go forth, my fellow members of this luckily chosen generation, and meet the new century in victory and glory.

站在台上面对大家，我心情十分激动。好像是在参加一次历史性的长征。我们今天面对的远不只一场竞赛或角逐。这是才华出众，生气勃勃的中国青年的一次聚会。我们是青年一代的代表。为迎接新世纪的到来，我们正在从各方面作好准备。
在这一历史时刻，能有机会代表同龄人在此认真地回顾于国于己都至关重要的过去的15年，我感激万分。
尽管只能谈谈个人经历，而且只涉及其中一个小小的片段，但我相信，它仍然折射出对我和在过去15年间一同成长起来的青年人都不可缺少的一种思想基础。
我上小学时，班上有位小姑娘，学*非常刻苦而成绩却不尽人意。
老师要我帮助她。看得出，她也寄厚望于我。但我那时还是个小男孩，坐不住，不懂事。我老是ME避她。以便有更多时间自己玩。
期末考试前一天，她来求我说“请你给我讲解一下行吗这次我很想考得好一点。”我开始给她讲解，不一会儿便草草收场，假装没有察觉她迷茫的眼神，一溜烟儿地跑开了。不出所料，这次她又考砸了。两个月后，新学期依始，传来她死于血癌的消息。我没有完成那项小小的任务，无人知晓。但我却不能原谅自己。她的眼睛令我难以忘怀，仿佛在责问我，“你为什么不愿多帮助我呢这对于你来说，并不费事。你为什么不能理解我对你的信赖，而让我带着痛苦和遗憾离开这个世界”
我当时才八九岁。但从某种意义上讲，这件事成了我生活的新起点。因为我开始体会到“责任”二字的意义，并尽心尽力地学着完成自己的义务。我也逐渐领会了这个神圣字眼的深刻内含:人与人之间的彼此需要和信任、合作和依赖正是人类社会存在的基础。
之后，我在生活中又经受过多次失败，但那小姑娘之死所引起的懊悔，心里却不曾再现。想到自己做每一件事都能尽职尽责，一种满足之感便油然而生。
此事及类似的多起事件改变了我，完善了我。当我长大**，我开始领悟周围发生的一切变化。我发现，从某种意义上说，社会跟我一样，正处在一个自我完善的时期。新建筑、新商品、新款式一天一个样。新思维、新信息、新技术层出不穷。即便万里相隔，人们在转瞬之间即可相互交谈。社会竞争越演越烈。
人们越来越强调个性和创造性。越来越多的人因工作努力而受到奖赏。这就是当今的时代，一代新人由成长迈入成熟的时代。这是我们这一代人接替父辈治国安邦的时代。然而，我们也面临很多间题。
据悉，坏人在光天化日之下作恶，周围的群众居然袖手旁观，无动于衷。我还听说，目前我国尚有100万儿童连小学也上不起，而巨额资金却拿去举办奢侈的宴会和购置豪华的轿车。
我们常常买的是劣质药品，或名曰药品实为一文不值的废物，非但不能除病去痛，反而会使
病情加重。在某些人看来，世上金钱最宝贵，只要能赚钱，不惜牺牲道德和责任。
因而，这个时代赋予我们的是更强烈的竞争和效率意识，使我们更善于批判性地思考和创造性地行动。
此外，这个时代要求我们这一代人必须认清自己肩负的历史重任，下定决心，采取行动，解决上述问题。长期以来，历史一直在我们这一代人身上培养着这些品质。现在，历史呼唤我们挺身而出，以实际行动向全民族及全人类证实我们的拳拳爱国之心和大无畏的英雄主义。
此刻，我站在讲台上回顾15年来的学生生活。今后的岁月，我很可能**淡淡地度过。但这丝毫不会让我心灰意冷。因为我知道，凭借强烈的责任感和精益求精的不懈奋斗，我将追求一种有意义的生活，一种不枉此生的生活。
此刻，我站在讲台上回顾过去，15年来祖国取得的巨大成就激励着千千万万的同龄人。我们之中大多数人将与名利和权力无缘。只有极少数人或许会后世留芳。对此我们丝毫也不会在意。因为我们知道，世界在观望，世界在倾听。在这个大量机遇和激烈竟争并存的时代，我们国家究竟去向何方，整个世界都在关注。

Knowing the Consequences of Choice
Over the past Spring Festival, I got involved in a family dispute. Right before I got home, four satellite channels of CCTV were added to the 14 channels we had already had. In prime time at night, they all had interesting shows. Therefore, the five of us-my parents, my sisters and I-had to argue over what to watch. Finally, we agreed that we should watch the "most interesting" programme... If we
could agree what that was.
However, all of us there remember that for a long time after we had TV, there were only one or two channels available. The increase in options reveals an important change in our life: the abundance of choice.
Fifteen years ago we all dressed in one style and in one colour. Today, we select from a wide variety of designs and shades.
Fifteen years ago, we read few newspapers. Today, we read English newspapers like the China Daily and the 21st Century, as well as various Chinese newspapers.
Fifteen years ago, English majors took only courses in language and literature. Today, we also study Western culture, journalism, business communications, international relations, and computer science.
The emergence of choices marks the beginning of a new era in China's history; an era of diversity, of material and cultural richness, and an era of the rebirth of the Chinese nation.

记得去年的5月23日，我参加了在源深体育中心举行的新区运动会开幕式的集体舞表演。抬腿、转圈、再抬腿、挥动绸带……一系列激情昂扬的舞蹈动作不知道已经演练了多少遍，汗水湿了衣裤，疲惫袭上身体，缠绕脸颊，盈满心灵，挥之不去，眼前五彩缤纷的体育馆蒙上了一层灰色。真得好累啊！
总算等到开幕式开始了。一首雄壮响亮的**响彻整个体育场，灰色中添入了红色，并且红色占据了整个眼帘，同时映入我眼帘的是由三名英姿飒爽、精神抖擞的官兵组成的仪仗队，整齐的步伐使我那疲惫的心瞬间挥之而去，好大的气势啊！
三千多名**战士举着一面巨大的**跑入了体育场嘴里发出雄壮的呐喊声，红色一下子铺满了整个体育场，***随着他们的动作像波浪似的飘动着，我的心也随之震荡不已。“起来，不愿做奴隶的人们……”嘹亮的**声洋溢在体育场，那声音、那气势，那是对祖国的热爱，那是对中国的骄傲，这份激情更使我感动。
