成功的故事既然只能倒叙着讲，那么被瞧不起就是必经的路程啊。
你的身后会中一个冷箭，说明你走在他们前面。你会被他们伤到，说明你走得不够远还在他们的射程以内。为此你需要往前走，更努力，*静而从容。不要停下来解释自己，要证明别人是偏见，唯一的办法就是证明自己是对的。
我觉得这个世界上没有任何人是可以高到让被人高攀不起的状态。所以回答不负责“高攀不起”四个字。另外，我的努力不只是因为别人，是我自己想让我自己变优秀，不是因为别人的眼光。最后，我十分感谢我妈。我相信这些赞很多也是为她点的，谢谢。
另外有人问起我本科是不是光顾着改变外貌而忽视学*本事了？我本科发了两篇paper。我一学物理的姑娘，paper真不是随便就能发。恩。

要么死，要么去巴黎
人这一生该如何度过，是浑浑噩噩地*凡一生，还是轰轰烈烈地尽情绽放。我想我会毫不犹豫地选择后者，我想开开心心地度过一生，我不想做自己不喜欢的事情，我不想压抑自己的内心，喜欢就是喜欢，不喜欢就是不喜欢，我不想将就，我也不想委曲求全，我想大胆地追逐今生想要，我想大胆地实现自己的梦想和目标。

本打算每天坚持跑步一个小时的，可是跑了十五分钟，你就跑不动了，然后你就开始散步了，一开始散步就没完没了，很快一个小时的时间就匆匆过去了，你的汗水还打不湿你的衣领，这点努力，怎么能把大肚腩减下去，你何时才能有强健的体魄。
本打算每天坚持写一篇文章的，可是为什么坚持两三天就放弃了，有时候隔了一个月也不曾写出一篇，这样的付出，这么一点汗水，何时才能有本质上的飞跃，何时才能到达成功的彼岸，你的第一本诗歌集，是不是要等到下辈子才能发行呢？
本打算每天坚持看几页英语书，可是为何五分钟不到，就头疼欲裂，匆匆扔下这本书，慌慌张张地打开电视，或者拼命地玩起了电脑，然后时间匆匆流去，只得洗洗睡了。
我们一直憧憬着更好更美的生活，可是我们一直想着，从来没有付出实际行动，我们望着远处美丽而洁白的城堡，却从来不曾迈开双脚，那怎么可能到达梦想的彼岸呢？
没人会将就你
某次饭局，酒酣耳热，我吹自己如何英雄、如何好汉。一位年轻朋友问我，韩老师，你能不能说说，你这一生在为人方面最重要的一个教训，对我们年轻人来说，这才是最宝贵的。
一句话说得我没了脾气，想打个哈哈应付过去吧，已没了可能，一桌子的朋友都在盯着你，等着你的回答。几十年的人生经验告诉我，这种情况下，只能实话实说，耍不得半点儿滑头。
稍作思考，我徐徐言道：没人会将就你。
旁边另一位朋友说道：愿闻其详。
举个小例子吧。三年前，在北京开一个中学新教材的研讨会，来的大都是中学教学方面的专家，为了听听对中学语文教材的意见，也请了三两个当过中学语文教员的作家，其中就有我。第二天的会上，时间短，发言的人多，会议主持人宣布，每人发言不得超过5分钟。我大概是第三个发言的。前两个人发言都超了时，其中一个还超得较多，轮到我了，说完要说的话之后，我又说了一句，希望大家都严格掌握时间，不要超过5分钟。当时就有一位专家指着我说，韩石山，这你就不够意思了，你的发言已超过了5分钟，你自己先不遵守时间，发言完了又要别人遵守时间，你把我们当成什么人了？
我原以为自己是没有超出时间的，听了这话，羞得无地自容。唉，只怪自己一得意就忘了形，以为这是个中学教材研讨会，自己是个作家，可以显示自己的水*和教养，哪里想到会有人当面指责呢。
再举一个。就在不久前，和几个青年人谈话，一时兴起，就和其中一人开了个玩笑，在我看来无伤大雅，不过是逗个乐子罢了。不料对方认了真，当即对我说，韩老师，我把你当老师对待，对你这么尊敬，没想到你会这样奚落我，说罢拂袖而去，一下子弄得我下不了台。过后他又在多种场合说我的不是。一见了我，就掉头而去，弄得我连个道歉的机会都没有。怪谁呢，只怪自己太不自重了。
没人会将就你，除了你的父母，除了你的至爱亲朋，除了那些暂时想利用你，过后肯定要诋毁你的人。这是一条人生的底线，把握得好，受用无穷；把握不好，轻则当场**，重则终身受累。不是说人世多么险恶，而是说，人生在世，什么时候也不要以为自己就是老大，谁都得将就你。
一个关于想成为一只狗的理想
难得回一趟老家，我到曾经读过的4年书的金盆小学看望年迈的启蒙老师。
晚上与老师东拉西扯地闲聊。聊着聊着，就随手翻看起桌上的一沓作文本来。老师说，孩子不多，整个二年级才一个班，共24个学生。
在乡下学校，二年级孩子刚学*写作文。本上的作文都很短，大多干巴巴的一页就完事。乡下孩子终究不比城市孩子，想像力极其匮乏，那些苍白的文字实在无味，但我翻着翻着，不经意间就停下来开始仔细读一篇《我的理想》。
粗糙的格子本上写道：“阿爹还没走（当地称人死为‘走’）的时候，他对我说，你要好好学*，天天向上，长大做个科学家；阿妈却要我长大后做个**（人员），说这样啥都不用怕。我不想当科学家，也不想当**。我的理想是变成一只狗，天天夜里守在家门口。因为阿妈胆小，怕鬼，我也怕。但阿妈说，狗不怕鬼，所以我要做一只狗，这样阿妈和我就都不用怕了……”
作文短，刚好一页，字歪歪斜斜的。那一页，老师画了个大大的红叉，没有打分，估计是严重的不及格了。是呀，普天之下有谁的理想是成为一只狗呢？做老师的，一定会斥责这孩子。
远离贫困的家乡，我已在城里生活了好多年了。经历过各种世故人情，自觉已是刀枪不入，很难再有什么事能轻易让我感动。然而，那天，我被这个二年级学生的理想震撼了，觉得鼻子酸酸的。我敢说，这是世上最感人的理想。
假装成功

当心被梦想埋葬
杰克和迪曼从小就热爱歌唱。在家乡的酒吧里，两人一起开始了演唱生涯，并很快成为挚友。在酒吧唱了几年，他们偶尔也会被当地的电视台请去助场，在家乡小有名气，颇受观众欢迎。可是，两个人都不满足于现状，怀着伟大的梦想：有一天要去柏林，站在令世人瞩目的神圣殿堂国家歌剧院的舞台上演出。

那天，我妈妈带我去大福源。

后来，我想通了，心情也好了，原来妈妈是对我好，不是小抠，她为我做的都是出于爱，我误解了她。我可真是身在福中不知福啊!

Some people go through life standing at the excuse counter.
They say they’d like to do this or that, but then they offer all the excuses in the world for why they can’t do whatever it is. No matter what the excuses are, the only thing that is usually limiting them is their own self-perception.
If I’ve learned anything, I’ve learned that a person ―any person ―may do anything they set their mind on doing. The things you need are willingness to work for what you want, patience to learn what you need to know and, most important of all, belief in yourself. You only need a seed, and then your faith in yourself will grow with you as you move forward.
If your self-perception is that you can’t accomplish something because you’re not smart enough, then take the time to learn what you need to know, and then your self-perception will change.

If your self-perception is that you’re too lazy, too busy, too unworthy, too unfocused, too depressed, or too dependent on others to accomplish great things, then you’re right. You are that because you believe you are, but in fact, you can change that! Life is change, and the past doesn’t equal the future. Your reality today is the result of your past beliefs and actions. Change your beliefs and actions, and you will change your future. Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right. You are what you think.
Think about that the next time you need an excuse.

A Nail Or A Fly?
An old gentleman whose eyesight was failing came to stay in a hotel room with a bottle of wine in each hand. On the wall there was a fly which he took for a nail. So the moment he hung them on, the bottles fell broken and the wine spilt all over the floor. When a waitress discovered what had happened, she showed deep sympathy for him and decided to do him a favor.
So the next morning when he was out taking a walk in the roof garden, she hammered a nail exactly where the fly had stayed.
Now the old man entered his room. The smell of the spilt wine reminded him of the accident. When he looked up at the wall, he found the fly was there again! On the surface, Chinatown is prosperous - a "model slum," some have called it - with the lowest crime rate, highest employment and least juvenile delinquency of any city district. Beneath the neighborhood's blithely prosperous facade, however, there is a darker underbelly. Sharp practices continue to flourish, with traditional
extortion and protection rackets still in business. Non-union sweatshops - their assembly lines grinding from early morning to late into the evening - are still visited by the US Department of Labor, who come to investigate workers' testimonies of being paid below minimum wage for seventy-plus-hour work weeks. Living conditions are abysmal for the poorer Chinese - mostly recent immigrants and the elderly - who reside in small rooms in overcrowded
tenements ill-kept by landlords. Yet, because the community has been
cloistered for so long and has only just begun to seek help from city officials for its internal problems, you won't detect any hint of difficulties unless you reside in Chinatown for a considerable length of time.
